Arthur Wallis on the birth of the charismatic Move in the UK

Ed: To many the Restoration emphasis is a spiritual deviation that sprang from the authentic charismatic movement. In this first of two articles, first published in the Restoration Magazine July/August 1980, Arthur Wallis traces back its origins to the late 1950s, and shows that those involved were moving in the Spirit before the charismatic renewal came to the historic churches. They had come into this, not simply out of a personal need of renewal, but also in their quest for the restoration of the church.

My wife and I now live in beautiful Wharfedale, Yorkshire. One day we decided to trace the Wharfe river to its source. The trouble is that rivers tend to have more than one source. We found ourselves asking, “Which is the river and which is the tributary?’ Looking back over 25 years it is impossible to pinpoint one source, for there were many springs to the Restoration stream. I speak of those that touched my life. There were many others.

First a little about my own background. My parents’ roots were in the Christian Brethren, and when I was a child we worshipped with them as a family. When God called my father into itinerant ministry he broke away from the Brethren, finding their outlook too sectarian and restrictive. For over 15 years he gave himself to evangelism and Bible teaching till laid low with a terminal illness. I was then 17, and deeply devoted to him. His death shook my spiritual life to its foundations. It was then God laid his hand on me, and I knew that somehow I had to step into the breach, though some 5 years of war service in the army was to intervene.

Vision of the Church
In the early days of my ministry my views about the church were unformed. Only the Brethren seemed to have strong convictions about this, and I was not overly impressed with what I had seen of their performance. I guess something of father’s views had rubbed off. He was happy to work with any church or denomination, provided it was not narrow-minded. I felt that all the Brethren talk about ‘assembly life’ was much-ado-about-nothing.

In 1947 I met one of ‘God’s irregulars’, whose writings and teachings were to have a profound influence on me. G. H. Lang must have been in his 70’s. Here was a man who knew God. That impressed me even more than his phenomenal grasp of Scripture. I also liked the fact that, though aligned with the Brethren, he toed no party line. His mind was captive to the Word of God. One of his pamphlets, ‘Church Federation’, shook me out of my complacency and neutrality concerning the church, and convinced me that there were some clear principles laid down in Scripture.

A quiet revolution was taking place in my thinking, and the direction of my ministry was consequently shifting. It was no longer my aim to be a great preacher like father, or to receive, like him, an invitation to address the Keswick Convention. I would still love and respect my many friends in denominational churches, and work with them as far as possible, but my heart was no longer sympathetic to denominational systems. Only in NT settings could I see God’s people coming into personal and corporate maturity. I could not consent to ecclesiastical traditions, however ancient, which made biblical principles of none effect. The first seeds of restoration were sown.

A little later when many of us were being stirred to pray for revival, I could not support the aims of Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and other Revival Fellowships, that seemed to be dedicated to pray for revival in their own denomination. As God had never authorised the sectionising of his church into denominations I could not see that he would be interested in their being perpetuated and revived. In the event most of these organisations petered out.

The Hope of Revival
I cannot recall what triggered it off, but in the second year of our married life (1950/51) Eileen and I began to seek God for revival. Perhaps it was the paper Herald of His Coming that came to us from the U.S.A. In East Devon where we lived the spiritual situation could hardly have been more bleak. Small churches struggling for survival, without life or vision. We began to fast and to pray.

Early in 1951 my colporteur friend, Oscar Penhearow, shared with me his concern for ‘an enduement with power for service’. He had been reading R A. Torrey. We decided that we would each seek God and search the Scriptures. I went right through the NT on this subject, and within 3 weeks we were both filled with the Spirit — for me it came alone on my knees, and without any contact with Pentecostals. The experience was revolutionary. It changed my prayer life, my preaching and my witnessing, though it was not till much later that I was to experience spiritual gifts.

Within a few months a brother from Exeter called on me and made himself known. David Lillie, after receiving the baptism in the Spirit a few years before had had to leave his Brethren assembly, so we had much in common. He and others had commenced a NT type fellowship on the outskirts of Exeter. David had come to his own clear convictions about the church, and God used him to temper the fires of my revivalism with the NT church vision. I also saw that without a widespread restoration of the power and gifts of the Spirit to make it come true, the vision would always remain a vision.
Meanwhile news had come of a spiritual awakening in the Scottish Isle of Lewis through the ministry of Duncan Campbell. Though limited in its scope it was powerful in its effect. The news was fuel to the fires of our revival praying. In the Autumn of that year the way opened for me to visit Lewis, meet Duncan Campbell, and see for myself what God had done.

A Prayer Movement
Following my return I gathered a group of some 8 men together on New Year’s Eve to pray into the new year (1952) for revival. It was revival after the Lewis pattern that we still had in mind at that time. From then on there was a prayer meeting in our home on the first Friday of each month which continued for many years. There was a marked upsurge of expectation and prayer for revival in a number of churches, partly through the ministry of Duncan Campbell and also through news of a revival that had broken out in the Congo as Zaire was then called (1953).

At one of David Lillie’s early conventions at Exeter I first heard tongues, interpretation and prophecy, and had an instinctive witness that they were genuine A speaker that came quite often to those early conventions with a strong message on faith, healing and deliverance, was Cecil Cousen. He had been a pastor in the Apostolic Church. Through the Latter Rain movement in Canada God had touched him, and he came home to bring the blessing he had received to his own denomination but it was not received. Cecil then formed his own undenominational fellowship in Bradford. Edgar Parkyns from Exeter also left the Apostolic Church about that time. He and Cecil brought to those early conventions a charismatic dimension that would otherwise have been lacking.

Commingling Streams
At the confluence of 2 or 3 streams there is always turbulence. In the movement of the Spirit at this time there were 3 commingling streams. There was a revival emphasis, a NT church emphasis, and a Pentecostal emphasis. The revival emphasis, stimulated by news of what God had done, found expression in prayer movements such as Nights of Prayer for Worldwide Revival and the League of Prayer, as well as through the creation of numerous prayer groups, mostly in homes. My own ministry over those years had a strong revival emphasis. Though I had never written anything before I felt that something on revival was needed, and thought I might manage a 20-page booklet. The writing flowed from the spoken ministry. As the ministry grew, ‘Topsy’ grew too. Three years later (1956) In the Day of Thy Power - the Scriptural Principles of Revival appeared as a 250 page hardback It went into a number of editions before being recently re-written under a new title, Rain from Heaven — Revival in Scripture and History.
Here I must warn exponents of ‘God’s order for the family’ to be prepared to shudder. It was nearly 20 months before our 13 year-old was to see his Dad!
As for the NT church emphasis, David Lillie was the leading protagonist. We called together our first ‘Restoration’ type conference in May 1958. Exmouth was the venue, and the theme was, ‘The Church of Jesus Christ - Its Purity, Power, Pattern and Programme in the Context of Today’. Quite imposing, and not a little ambitious, you may feel, for a 3 day conference! Cecil Cousen was among the speakers. Among the 25 invitees were 2 students whose convictions has led them to leave their Bible College in South Wales. One of these was Graham Perrins, who edits the magazine Fulness.
A second conference was held near Okehampton in 1961 on ‘The Divine Purpose in the Institution of the Church’. Some 40 leaders came to this. In the convening letter we asked where the true church was that could face the challenge of the hour. ‘Must it continue to be obscured and dishonoured by all the impedimenta of denominationalism - its unbelief, its divisions, its worldliness, its apathy? It was our conviction that such a church must arise in this end time, endued with power from on high, equipped with the manifold gifts of the Spirit, and with a much fuller understanding of her proper function and purpose in the divine plan’.

The third in the series came in September the following year at Mamhead Park, near Exeter, attended by 80 or more. The following year was to see the breaking out of the charismatic movement in Britain (1963). No wonder we were led to the theme, ‘The Present Ministry of the Holy Spirit’. There were Bible readings on 1 Corinthians 12 and 14, and ministry on the believer’s personal need of the Spirit, and on the Spirit’s power for witnessing. Nearly all were leaders, and many came into the baptism of the Spirit.

Two things in that conference stand out for me. Hearing the exciting news of the outbreak of the Spirit in California that later was recognised as the beginning of the charismatic movement. The other was my first meeting with a young Welsh evangelist whose ministry had brought a touch of revival to a number of villages in the neighbouring county of Cornwall. His boyish appearance made him look even younger than he was. His name - Bryn Jones!

A Little Turbulence
The other stream in the confluence was the Pentecostal. In addition to ministries whom we have mentioned, who brought a distinctly charismatic flavour or faith emphasis to the early conventions, we began to hear of ‘Henry’s Glory Meetings’ being held in a Full Gospel Fellowship at Tatworth (now known as South Chard Fellowship). People said they actually danced! Unheard of. They were only half an hour’s ride away across the Somerset border - much too close to be comfortable. It was some years before I dared investigate and have my fears allayed.

The turbulence I spoke of earlier was not such as to disrupt fellowship, as to prevent a real flowing together. It was getting the emphasis right. People like myself who were strong on the revival message and on the NT church were no doubt over-cautious about Pentecostal extremes and imbalance. We didn’t want to ‘go overboard’, and so prevent others from getting ‘on board’. On the other hand the distinctly Pentecostal brothers could see no point in pleading for the outpouring of the Spirit. ‘He has come, brother. Can’t you see, we’re in revival’ I’m afraid I couldn’t. If that was revival I was a disappointed man. That was not what we had been asking God to give us. Where were the signs and wonders? Where was the powerful impact on the community? Where was the mighty harvest? Where were the awe and majesty of God? I could only say, ‘Brothers, there is more - much more yet to come. This may be starters, but starters doesn’t make a banquet.’

Then some of our brothers found it hard to embrace the vision of the NT church. Sometimes one felt that they acquiesced with what we were saying without being convinced. Were we sometimes guilty of biblical semantics or theological hair-splitting? Were forms and structures so important? Is it not more important to be men of faith and power, moving in the Holy Spirit? David and I felt it was not either or, but both. My own study of the history of revivals had convinced me that their effects were ephemeral unless accompanied by reformation of the church. Concerning the Lewis Revival I wrote in Rain from Heaven, ‘In less than a decade you could visit those very churches where God had worked so powerfully and never suspect that they had ever tasted revival’. The history of the now declining charismatic movement provides further confirmation. The old structures will restrict if not preclude the maturing of the believer and of the body of which he is a part. In the long term the need of the new wineskin is as vital as the need of the new wine.

Another Witness
Towards the close of the 50s there came into our hands a magazine called A Voice in the Wilderness, edited by John Myers. I could not say there was much in the magazine that was new to us, but coming out of the blue, having no connection with ourselves, it was saying the same things. God used it to confirm that he himself had initiated and was controlling the movement towards restoration. ‘To how many others of his servants all over the world was he saying the same thing?’, we wondered. Our confidence was that, if he was initiating the vision, he would also fulfil it.

In the concluding instalment Arthur Wallis recounts the stirrings of the Spirit in New Zealand in 1963/64, the beginnings of the charismatic movement in Britain, and how God brought into covenant relationship men sharing the same Restoration vision.

Part 2
In the first article Arthur Wallis told the story of how God gave him the vision of a restored church. In those years preceding the charismatic renewal there was a coming together of leaders not only thirsty for the Spirit, but also eager to discover God’s will for his church. In this closing article he tells of the stirring in New Zealand in 1963/4, of the beginnings of the charismatic movement in Britain in the mid 60’s and of how in 1972 God brought into covenant relationship men sharing the same restoration vision. It was first published in the Restoration Magazine September/October 1980.

It was January 1963, the year of the Arctic winter. When at last we were able to get home to Devon through the snow drifts I found an important letter awaiting me. Months before, I had turned down an invitation to an Easter Camp in New Zealand, and here was the same committee of young men from the Brethren writing to inform me that they had had it from God that I was to come to this Camp, and if I was in doubt I should know that my return air ticket to Auckland had been paid! ‘The impertinence! Who do they think they are? And if they are right, why hasn’t God told me?’

There were also practical obstacles to my going, but God shifted these one by one, and by the end of March I was in Auckland. Edgar Trout of Plymouth, a man with a distinctive faith ministry, had written on the eve of my departure. God had shown him that this visit would change the course of my ministry, and so it proved to be.

The Weekend That Got Stretched
My good friend Campbell McAlpine, already out in New Zealand, had been banned from ministering in the Brethren Assemblies with which he was connected because he was known to speak in tongues. When I was first invited, doors of Brethren churches all over the Dominion were open to me. By the time I got there they had all shut. The ‘grape-vine’ had been working overtime! When I flew out for that Easter Camp I little realised how long it would be before I returned. In the event, Eileen joined me for part of the time, which was to bring her into a wonderful release in the Spirit. Here I must warn exponents of ‘God’s order for the family’ to be prepared to shudder. It was nearly 20 months before our 13 year-old was to see his Dad!
On the last night of the Easter Camp God came down on the meeting. From then on there were more open doors than I could enter. I was thrilled to find a revival-consciousness abroad, many inquiring about the Holy Spirit, and much praying for an outpouring on the land. The way of the Lord had been prepared by the ministries of Leonard Ravenhill, Ivor Davies (who had been involved in the Congo Revival) and Campbell McAlpine. The charismatic movement was still future, and even among those who had embraced the Pentecostal message there was as yet little moving in the gifts of the Spirit, and few with any vision for the restoration of the Church.

God taught me much of his ways, especially intercession, through his people in New Zealand. I sought to present to Spirit-filled circles the vision of the church as God saw it, ‘a lampstand all of gold’ (Zech 4:2), not as we saw it, ‘by schisms rent asunder, by heresies distressed’. I sought also to quicken faith for that vision to become reality. The culmination was a conference in Palmerston North in August 1964 with the theme, ‘The Building of a Spirit-filled New Testament Church’.

Campbell, who by this time had returned to the UK with his family, was back in New Zealand on a short visit and shared in the ministry at the conference. Some 300 attended, and God gave us a tremendous time. Never before had New Zealand seen historic, Pentecostal and undenominational churches joining together in such free and warm fellowship. Never had there been a conference with this kind of emphasis.

New Doors Opened
I returned to my family in England in November 1964, and the ‘grape-vine’ moved smartly into reverse gear. I found on my return that I was responsible for splitting the Brethren churches in New Zealand ‘from Cape to Bluff’, that is, from extreme north to extreme south! So now I had to face doors shutting in the home country. This proved to be something of a relief. I was confident that ‘a great door for effective work’ would open, and I was no longer comfortable ministering in churches who were resistant to a message to which I was wholly committed, and where I had continually to mind my p’s and q’s.

While I had been overseas a young Anglican curate and his wife from ‘the Mecca’ of Evangelical Anglicanism had received the baptism in the Spirit. Michael Harper, one of John Stott’s curates at All Souls, Langham Place, London, resigned his curacy, and founded the Fountain Trust, which was to have a significant part to play in fanning the charismatic flames already beginning to break out in the historic churches. Campbell and I were invited to join their Advisory Council, a link I have maintained until our recent move to Yorkshire.

In the Spring of 1965 David Lillie and I, together with Campbell McAlpine, called together our last and largest conference for leaders. It was held at Herne Bay Court, Kent, and the theme was The Apostolic Commission. Among the 100 or more who came together for that challenging time were some leaders who had not been with us before — W.F.P. Burton of the Congo; an ex-Baptist pastor, G.W. North; an Anglican curate, Norman Meeten; a young Brethren evangelist not long baptised in the Spirit, Hugh Thompson; and a young Baptist pastor from Basingstoke, Barney Coombs. Looking back over those conferences, one recalls a healthy fear lest we should relax into ‘a holy NT huddle’ over the vision of the church to the neglect of the great commission. There was a strong evangelistic emphasis throughout.

Another Restoration Spring
In the pre-charismatic days I had spoken for several years at a tent convention near Dorking, Surrey. It was known as The Abinger Convention and had come into being through the vision and organising ability of Fred Pride. It was a Keswick-type convention, except that it had a distinct ‘Reformed’ emphasis, was patronized by Dr. Lloyd-Jones who usually came down from London to speak at one or two of the meetings, and had a strong emphasis on prayer, revival and the power of the Holy Spirit. It experienced some quite remarkable touches of the Spirit over those years, and God used it to pave the way for what was to come.

When Fred Pride received the baptism in the Spirit he found himself compelled to withdraw from the convention, and within a year or two it had folded up. The ground was now clear for something fresh. Fred called together some key ministers and leaders who were moving in the Spirit to organise a charismatic-type convention at the Elim Bible College, Capel, Surrey. Campbell McAlpine, Denis Clark, Jean Darnall and myself were invited to be the speakers at the first Capel Bible Week. Later Bryn Jones, Em Baxter and others made significant contributions by their ministry, and the convention grew till a marquee seating nearly 2,000 was being filled, It proved to be a significant platform for the restoration emphasis.

After 6 years the organisers came to a unanimous conclusion that the Capel Bible Week should end, at least under its original auspices. The facilities at Capel were no longer adequate for the growing numbers, and every attempt at securing a larger venue had failed. There was also another important factor. The organisers in the nature of the case, could have no ongoing relationship as a body of men, apart from organising the Bible Week. Some were ‘Ephesians 4’ ministries with gifts of insight and direction, some were local pastors, while others were really administrators. With all having a voice into such decisions as who should be invited to speak, it was not easy to get a clear sense of direction. However, God had already initiated the next phase, but to understand that we must retrace our steps for a moment.

A Coming Together, Bone to Bone
By the start of the 70’s a number of us in leadership had come to the same basic convictions as far as the church was concerned. We were convinced that denominationalism was a major barrier to what God was wanting, and that denominational structures not only obscured the vision of the ‘one body’, but could never be a suitable receptacle for all that God was wanting to bestow. Those of us who were committed to that ‘better thing’ we had seen in the Spirit began to find each other in God.
Throughout 1971 I had had a growing conviction that a few of us should come together to study the prophetic scriptures, to see if we could come to a clearer understanding of God’s prophetic programme. Some of us were Pre-millenial, others A-millenial, and the rest Pan-millennial — we believed that it would all pan out alright in the end! Accordingly I invited six brothers to my house in February 1972. None of us really had any inkling of what was in store.

Our discussions on prophetic subjects brought some clarification, but the outstanding feature of the time was the flow of prophesying in which God gave us specific and detailed instruction concerning our relating together as ministries. We were warned not to think of ourselves as ‘special’, We were a ‘workshop’ and ‘a sample’ of what he would do with many such groups all over the world. How true that has proved to be!

Before that year was out we entered into a covenant relationship, agreeing to be committed to each other’s welfare in every way, to ‘cover’ each other by bringing encouragement, direction and where necessary correction to each other’s lives. We had not been this way before and the path was not to prove free of pain and difficulty. Nor were we now immune from making mistakes.
God warned us in prophecy that we were not to enlarge the group of committed men except at his clear direction. In doubling the group the following year, when relationships were still tender, and while seven strong characters had still much to learn of grace and patience in the practicals of relating, we failed to heed God’s warning. The larger numbers compounded our difficulties, and led eventually to a cleavage in 1976, with the two groupings that resulted ceasing to have a working relationship. Since then there have been a number of meetings, expressions of goodwill on both sides, and some ground regained. But there is still a fair way to go.
Chalking Up the Assets
Despite this serious set-back there was no sense that we had made a mistake in entering into this committed relationship. Rather the reverse. Here are some of the benefits we have experienced:

1. A deathblow to the strong independence that had characterised our ministry for years, and to any temptation to become little empire-builders.
2. A new security, authority, and growth in stature through being thus related.
3. Each began to be helped by his brothers to see his strengths and limitations; what he should let go, and what he should hold on to and develop.
4. None felt he had to have it all, or to see his ministry as threatened, but rather strengthened and complemented by his brother’s gift.
5. Our commitment to each other as leaders began to be reflected in a new depth of commitment among the ‘rank and file’ believers.
6. A rapid growth of the work at all levels.
7. United projects were now undertaken on the basis of committed relationship.
That takes us to the point where we left the Capel Bible Week.

Bible Weeks North and South
Just as the Abinger Convention prepared the way for the Capel Bible Week, so in turn did the Capel Bible Week for the Dalesweek in Harrogate. The Capel Bible Week commenced with numbers approximating those of Abinger in its latter days, while in the first year of the Dalesweek numbers had already outstripped the largest crowds ever seen at Capel.

For some time Bryn Jones had had a vision for something like Capel up north, maintaining a strong prophetic emphasis, but with the whole operation under the direction of men of apostolic and prophetic gift, moving in covenant relationship. All those involved in the running of the week in any way would be men and women in committed relationship and sharing the one vision. Each one was to perform the job for which he or she was gifted, and to seek to do it with a spirit of serving and a spirit of excellence. This has produced a great sense of togetherness from the top downwards, and people have been amazed at the smoothness with which the administering of six or seven thousand people under canvas for a week has been performed.

When Dalesweek reached its maximum capacity a couple of years ago it was decided to launch a similar week down south. Last year saw the first ‘Downsweek’ at Plumpton Race Course in Sussex an event which drew nearly 2,000, almost all from the south. This year at the same venue it proved to be a pack-out.

Apostolic Teams
The latest development has been the functioning of itinerant ministries in apostolic teams. The vision of this has been with us for some time, but it is only in the last twelve months that it has begun to be really operational. We are expecting this to provide a new thrust to the work, especially in the realm of evangelistic outreach. It will also provide openings for younger men whom God is raising up with apostolic and prophetic ministry.

May I say in conclusion that I have not written as one who has researched all the facts and covered all the ground in relation to the sources of the restoration movement. Far from it. I have simply written as an eyewitness, and in many cases as a participator in what took place on my small sector of the front. There is much more, I’m sure, that could be written about other springs and other streams, and the end is not yet.

Bodyweight workouts in Church?

Well here's an incredible thing. The antidote to mass overweight populations:
The latest online and Shopping Channel Phenomenon, Bodyweight Training.

Three innovations
1. No equipment is required other than perhaps some piece of elastic fabric in some workouts.
2. You can do all this in the privacy of your own home.
3. As long as it is regular and intense it does not have to be long.

4. All exercises can be modified for every type of fitness level and age
5 These are a new generation of workouts which can propel any shape of body and fitness level to admirable fitness in a relative short time.

Science is now supporting evidence that any longer than 20 to 25 minutes can actually be less effective.  One of the workouts above is as short as 4 minutes with two extra ones for making a quality smoothie and drinking it . (6 minutes to skinny).

By adopting such rigour before you do anything in the day, you set up your metabolism to be faster at fatburning.

Like all "outside innovations", it's sheer popularity will act as momentum for existing fitness clubs to use similar programmes in their own facilities as group activities.

And if in Fitness centres, why not churches?  As outreach?

Why do males not go to church?Church is perceived as irrelevant
People claim Jesus is LIFE but don't demonstrate that, but the very opposite
The gospel preached is not visceral
The gospel preached is largely narrow and not the 12 GATES expansive gospel preached by Jesus encompassing all the 12 disciple's personalities, all the 12 tribes of Israel's facets. The Universality of the message is not perceived
The gospel and  worship can be perceived as feminine.
The gospel as preached in Acts 2 by 12 very different apostles supporting and sustaining each other in unity was demonstrating on every level the life of Jesus lived in real time.

Why was Bible House a popular emblem locally?Casa Biblica's , like Watchman Nee's own vision, was the vision of R. Edward Miller and Jorge Pradas in Argentina, and formed within the crucible of the turbulent Peron years.
Bible House Emsworth was and I hope still is a place where men and women put all aside to seek God early....
Many of us put university and careers on hold.
The PEER PRESSURE was to seek God and His transformation in our lives.
When young men do this together it has a huge knock on effect, much of which we were totally unaware of as we just got on with it.

It is SO NOT THE SOCIAL NORM, it is immediately gobsmacking.
It creates and sucks in the next generation in its wake, much like a boat does.
It becomes the norm to seek God first and begin to get Him as that thirdlevel God consciousness.
Such a body becomes in no small part the RHEMA HUB of a church. Not that others don't join it, but it is a reality in the midst of a church.

MEN AND PRAISE

The link in my mind to the rest of the article is the level of physical fitness many of the young men built up  through the sheer repetition of dance and praise and singing simultanously morning and evening. Any chorusline will now how exhausting this can be initially.

In Israel the men dance together at the Feasts. Far from the western perception, male dancing is incredibly visceral and King David really was a man of the future as he ignored his wife Michal's moaning. He danced all the harder. But then if Michal had been through what David had been through to get there she would have understood the miracle!!!

We were a beach head generation among the West. We proved that Praise literally is the way God instructs us to enter His Gates, and sure enough the House of God begins to form itself , manifest itself  as we enter His gates with praise and thanksgiving. It's something whenever anybody does this, but a bunch of young men is something else.

According to Psalm 110
According to the 1st Commandment

  • Nothing can beat a group of males whose firstlove is the LORD...ie not the dancing itself....the Lord Jesus
  • Who are actually manifesting the first commandment expression of love in real time
  • Deuteronomy 6:4-5  Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

Fridge Magnet

OUR DEAR MINISTRY FRIEND,
We've sent you this small prayer-reminder magnet to make a very big request of you . . . "PLEASE PRAY for US!"
It's a repeated appeal written to the saints throughout
the New Testament: "Brothers and sisters, pray for us" (1 Thes 5:25). "Don't forget to pray for us, that God will open doors for telling the mystery of Christ" (Col 4:3). "One more thing, friends: Pray for US" (2 Thes 3:1). "Pray for us. We have no doubts about what we're doing or why, but it's hard going and we need your prayers."
(Heb 13:18).
In our mass Gospel Campaigns where hundreds of thousands attend each meeting, multitudes of sick and needy people gather for prayer. When we pray over the gigantic crowd, miracles and healings begin to pop up like popcorn. And from the front to the back the power of God flows equally to all. Often, we have literally cut chains off of the hands and feet of insane people who have been delivered miraculously through the dynamic power of prayer.
When you pray, you have the power to bring deliverance
to the oppressed. You can have a real impact that reaches to the ends of the earth without ever leaving your home. What you bind on earth will be bound in heaven - what you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. No door, no chain, no barrier, and no distance is too great for the long arm of the Lord. "The Lord's arm is not so short that he cannot save" (Isaiah 59:1).

When we pray over the gigantic crowd, miracles and healings begin to pop up like popcorn.

We NEED YOUR Prayers!! PLEASE POST this prayer-reminder magnet in a place that catches your eye (and hopefully your heart) on a regular daily basis. Please STAND with us in PRAYER as the Holy Spirit prompts and !earls you. Your prayers and your support means the world to us! THANK YOU!! And GOD BLESS YOU!!
We are passionately DRIVEN to DECLARE and
DEMONSTRATE the LIFE-CHANGING POWER of the Gospel ...
TOGETHER with YOU!!

Elephant Biology

It's not until you "test the edges" of our Truman Show before you really grasp what a noose we have built for ourselves by living in the fleshliness of our leftbrain, without seeking first the Kingdom and righteousness of God. If we had obeyed Romans 8 (set your minds on the Spirit) and if we had prayed "Lord lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil" more, then we wouldn't now be in cultures completely controlled by secret orders, Here is a conversation between George Caylor in "the Biologist" ,Feb17th 2000 and a molecular biologist just trying to do an honest day's work, but feed his family too.
++++++++++++++++++
GC and J the biologist
GC Do you believe that the information evolved?
J George , NOBODY I know of in my profession believes it evolved. It was engineered by a genius beyond genius, and such information could not have been written any other way.The paper and ink did not write the book. KNOWING WHAT WE KNOW (as biologists) IT IS RIDICULOUS TO THINK OTHERWISE.
GC Have you ever stated that in a public lecture, or in any public writings?
J No, I just say it evolved. To be a molecular biologist requires one to hold on to two insanities at all times. One,It would be insane to believe in evolution when you CAN SEE THE TRUTH FOR YOURSELF. Two,it would be insane to say you don't believe in evolution. ALL GOVERNMENT WORK,RESEARCH GRANTS ,PAPERS,BIG COLLEGE LECTURES – EVERYTHING WOULD STOP. I'd be out of a job, or relegated to the outer fringes where I couldn't earn a decent living.
GC I hate to say it but that sounds intellectually dishonest.
J The work I do in in genetic research is honorable. We will find the cures to many of mankind's worst diseases. But in the meantime, we have to live with the elephant in the room.
GC What elephant?
J Creation design. It's like an elephant in the living room. It moves around, takes up space, loudly trumpets, bumps into us, knocks things over, eats tons of hay, and smells like an elephant. AND YET WE HAVE TO SWEAR IT ISN'T THERE!!!.
++++++++++++
Many scientists see the evidence for creation, and they see it clearly, but peer pressure, financial considerations, political correctness, and a religious commitment to their belief in naturalism, force them to look the other way and insist they see nothing. And so the illogical origins myth of modern society perpetuates itself.  END   www.sciencevsevolution.co.uk

Hoʻoponopono - the Hawaiian understanding of binding and loosing

Annalize Mouton with Marsha Newton-Zornes and 6 others
Reposting: In January 2013 the Lord gave me further "revelation" re forgiveness, walking in the spirit and knowing no man, not even myself, after the flesh any more. Seeing as Father God sees. Seeing Christ Jesus only, resurrected and glorified, in myself and every other person. Christ Jesus our Mirror. As He is now, so are we. Christ died once for all, the just for the unjust.

These are just all the thoughts and musings put together. I know this is far bigger than what I see, and would love to hear what the Holy Spirit is showing you, or has taught you. So please feel free to tag and share.

Jesus said:
Mat 6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Mat 6:15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

John 20:23 If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."
Young's Literal Translation "if of any ye may loose the sins, they are loosed to them; if of any ye may retain, they have been retained."

George Komninakis has posted: "In the original translation in the Greek, the word is not forgive, it is afesin, which means release! I know, I am Greek. Why is this important to know? Because Christ is not telling us to ask God to forgive us, because His love is unconditional which keeps no record of wrongs... He is telling is us to ask Him to RELEASE us from the FLESH, so that we can be found liberated from what torments us!"

Ha, so as I now see, He tells us to RELEASE ourselves and others from the FLESH, the carnal mindset and seeing, so that we can be found liberated from what torments us (all the thoughts contrary to how he sees us, contrary to His love and beneficence to usward), to strip others and ourselves of all the wrongs that we have done to ourselves and others, might still be doing, and clothe ourselves and others with Christ. Set others/ourselves free from the old man in our own minds. Choosing to only knowing the One New Man in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 16:19: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

And in John 11:44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go." I cannot help to think of the graveclothes of Jesus in the tomb – He took our sins on Him, became sin for us, and that is where He left them, having "eaten/consumed all of our sinful flesh". Only the napkin was folded signifying Him coming back which He did and us partaking of His glorified life! (This is such a rich passage!)

The Hebrew words and origins of Lazarus literally means:

God (is) helper; strength; mighty; especially the Almighty (but used also of any deity): strength; hence, anything strong; specifically a chief (politically); also a ram (from his strength); a pilaster (as a strong support); an oak or other strong tree: to twist, i.e. (by implication) be strong; the body (as being rolled together); also powerful: to surround, i.e. protect or aid.

The origins of the word Lazarus is translated as the following words: - God (god), goodly, great, idol, might (-y one), power, strong. mighty (man), lintel, oak, post, ram, tree, mighty, strength, help, succour.

So now we see the true calling and nature of "Lazarus." He was called to be a mighty one in the Lord’s temple, and his very name was a challenge to the enemy. Because his calling and purpose are so important in last day events, his flesh had to be stripped so that he trusted not in his own strength, but the Lord.

Anna Rountree in a visit to heaven was shown hell by the Lord: “Observe the misery,” the Lord said. “My people participate in this, enjoying the downfall of another, laughing at the mistakes of others, and holding them in their chains instead of setting the captives free.”
I looked toward the dark entrances of the caves. Within these dungeons the enemy held captive certain areas in the lives of humans on earth. Christians, instead of helping to set the captive free, were tightening the chains of condemnation that held them in bondage. Christians were siding with the jailers against the Lord by nullifying the provision of forgiveness and reconciliation that He had made for them through His shed blood.

Jesus's words come to mind: Matthew 25:35 "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Another source says, two Greek words are used to translate the word “forgive.” The first is charizomai, from the word charis, which means “grace.” This word appears 27 times in New Testament. It means “to bestow a favor unconditionally; to show one’s self gracious, kind, benevolent; or to grant forgiveness, to pardon.” Believers are to forgive each other the way Christ has forgiven us, as found in Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 2:13 and 3:13. Charizomai indicates being gracious toward someone.

By contrast, our word, aphiemi [afiz(s)an], means “to send away”. It is used approximately 150 times in the New Testament, and is found almost exclusively in the gospels. The variety of translations are found in: 1 Corinthians 7:11, “husband should not divorce his wife”; Matthew 4:11, “the devil left Him”; Matthew 13:30, “allow both to grow together”; Matthew 27:50, “Jesus yielded up His Spirit”; Mark 7:8, “neglecting the commandment of God”; Mark 15:37, “Jesus uttered a loud cry”; and Romans 1:27, “men abandoned natural function of the woman.”

When the word is used of forgiving, it is in regard to forgiveness of (a) debts [Matthew 6:12]; (b) trespasses [Matthew 6:14]; (c) blasphemies [Matthew 12:31]; (d) lawless deeds [Romans 4:7]; (e) wickedness [Acts 8:22]; and (f) sins. There are approximately 10 places in scripture where sins are forgiven. In Luke 5:20, and the key verse, 1 JOHN 2:12, “your sins have been forgiven you,” the verb is in the perfect tense, indicating that our sins have been put away from us permanently. Our sins were put away at the cross, with the abiding result that they are never more remembered against us.

In the Old Testament, there are two primary Hebrew words which are translated as “pardon”, “pardoned” “forgive”, “forgiveness”, “forgiven” or “forgiving”. These are “nasa” and “salah”. Harris, Archer and Waltke say “nasa” means “the taking away, forgiveness or pardon of sin, iniquity and transgression. So characteristic is this action of taking away sin, that it is listed as one of God’s attributes (Exodus 34:7; Numbers 14:18, Micah 7:18)…Sin can be forgiven and forgotten, because it is taken up and carried away”. [1] Brown, Driver and Briggs say in Exodus 32:32, 34:7, Numbers 14:18, 1 Samuel 15:25, Job 7:21 and Micah 7:18, “nasa” means “take away guilt, iniquity, transgression etc., i.e. forgive”. [2]
Micah 7:18-19 contains these wonderful words: “Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.” This verse reveals that no angel or human has a character so willing to pardon wickedness done against Himself or others, as what God has.
Micah 7:18 says God delights in showing mercy. This means Heenjoys doing it. He does not pardon our sins in a begrudging way. Verse 19 here shows how far God removes our sins from us – He figuratively hurls them into the depths of the sea.
When referring to the Hebrew word “salah”, Harris, Archer and Waltke say, “‘salah’ is used of God’s offer of pardon and forgiveness to the sinner. Never does this word in any of its forms refer to people forgiving each other”. [3] “Salah” is used in Exodus 34:9, Numbers 14:19-20, 2 Kings 5:18, 24:4, Psalm 25:11, Isaiah 55:7, Jeremiah 5:1, 5:7, 33:8, 50:20 and Lamentations 3:42.
Isaiah 55:7 reveals God requires humans to turn from their known sinful ways and thoughts to Him in order for their sins to be pardoned:“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Another picture that was brought to my mind is to unravel the spirit of a person from the deeds etc, of the old man who had been dealt with on the cross, and knitting that spirit together with the Spirit and glorified body of our Lord.

A while back I read the following story on the internet. That set me thinking and praying. Dr Joe Vitale who wrote this is a New Ager, and if this doctor without the knowledge of Jesus Christ and the finished work of the cross could do that, think what would happen to our world when we, the children of God, start walking in the fullness of the revelation of Jesus Christ in us and others, our only life and hope of glory!!!!
"Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients--without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate's chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person's illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved.

When I first heard this story, I thought it was an urban legend. How could anyone heal anyone else by healing himself? How could even the best self-improvement master cure the criminally insane?

It didn't make any sense. It wasn't logical, so I dismissed the story.

However, I heard it again a year later. I heard that the therapist had used a Hawaiian healing process called ho 'oponopono. I had never heard of it, yet I couldn't let it leave my mind. If the story was at all true, I had to know more.

I had always understood "total responsibility" to mean that I am responsible for what I think and do. Beyond that, it's out of my hands. I think that most people think of total responsibility that way. We're responsible for what we do, not what anyone else does. The Hawaiian therapist who healed those mentally ill people would teach me an advanced new perspective about total responsibility.

His name is Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. We probably spent an hour talking on our first phone call. I asked him to tell me the complete story of his work as a therapist. He explained that he worked at Hawaii State Hospital for four years. That ward where they kept the criminally insane was dangerous. Psychologists quit on a monthly basis. The staff called in sick a lot or simply quit. People would walk through that ward with their backs against the wall, afraid of being attacked by patients. It was not a pleasant place to live, work, or visit.

Dr. Len told me that he never saw patients. He agreed to have an office and to review their files. While he looked at those files, he would work on himself. As he worked on himself, patients began to heal.

"After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely," he told me. "Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed."

I was in awe.

"Not only that," he went on, "but the staff began to enjoy coming to work. Absenteeism and turnover disappeared. We ended up with more staff than we needed because patients were being released, and all the staff was showing up to work. Today, that ward is closed."

This is where I had to ask the million dollar question: "What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?"

"I was simply healing the part of me that created them," he said.

I didn't understand.

Dr. Len explained that total responsibility for your life means that everything in your life - simply because it is in your life--is your responsibility. In a literal sense the entire world is your creation.

Whew. This is tough to swallow. Being responsible for what I say or do is one thing. Being responsible for what everyone in my life says or does is quite another. Yet, the truth is this: if you take complete responsibility for your life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch, or in any way experience is your responsibility because it is in your life.

This means that terrorist activity, the president, the economy--anything you experience and don't like--is up for you to heal. They don't exist, in a manner of speaking, except as projections from inside you. The problem isn't with them, it's with you, and to change them, you have to change you.

I know this is tough to grasp, let alone accept or actually live. Blame is far easier than total responsibility, but as I spoke with Dr. Len, I began to realize that healing for him and in ho 'oponopono means loving yourself. If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone--even a mentally ill criminal--you do it by healing you.

I asked Dr. Len how he went about healing himself. What was he doing, exactly, when he looked at those patients' files?

"I just kept saying, 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you' over and over again," he explained.

That's it?

That's it.

Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, your improve your world. Let me give you a quick example of how this works: one day, someone sent me an email that upset me. In the past I would have handled it by working on my emotional hot buttons or by trying to reason with the person who sent the nasty message. This time, I decided to try Dr. Len's method. I kept silently saying, "I'm sorry" and "I love you," I didn't say it to anyone in particular. I was simply evoking the spirit of love to heal within me what was creating the outer circumstance.

Wikipedia:

"Hoʻoponopono" is defined in the Hawaiian Dictionary[11] as "mental cleansing: family conferences in which relationships were set right through prayer, discussion, confession, repentance, and mutual restitution andforgiveness." Literally, hoʻo is a particle used to make an actualizing verb from the following noun, as would "to" before a noun in English. Here, it creates a verb from the noun pono, which is defined as
"goodness, uprightness, morality, moral qualities, correct or proper procedure, excellence, well-being, prosperity, welfare, benefit, true condition or nature, duty; moral, fitting, proper, righteous, right, upright, just, virtuous, fair, beneficial, successful, in perfect order, accurate, correct, eased, relieved; should, ought, must, necessary."
Ponopono is defined as "to put to rights; to put in order or shape, correct, revise, adjust, amend, regulate, arrange, rectify, tidy up, make orderly or neat".

Some excerpt from NDE accounts:
During my life review, I remember one particular incident ... when, as a child, I yanked my little sister's Easter basket away from her, because there was a toy in it that I wanted. Yet in the review, I felt her feelings of disappointment and loss and rejection. What we do to other people when we act unlovingly!... Everything you have done is there in the review for you to evaluate (and) when I was there in that review there was no covering up. I was the very people that I hurt, and I was the very people I helped to feel good.... – NDE account

By reviewing my past, I was brought to new places of discovery within myself. Many events were shown simultaneously. I recalled two examples. When I was five years old I teased Tammy Fowler, another five year old girl, to the point of tears. I was now in a unique position to feel what Tammy felt. Her frustration, her tears, and her feelings of separateness were now my feelings. I felt a tremendous amount of compassion for this child. I was Tammy and needed love, nurturing and forgiveness. My essence gave love to both of us – a love so deep and tender, like the love between a mother and child. I realized by hurting another, I was only hurting myself. Again, I was experiencing oneness.
The next incident was similar. I had made fun of Billy Bradley, a scrawny, malnourished asthmatic kid. He died when he was seventeen years old from a cerebral aneurysm. He seemed to be in the realm of existence I was in. Yet, still I was not sure where I was. When Billy was twelve, he had written me a love letter that I rejected. I was experiencing his pain which became my pain. At the same time, I felt a tremendous amount of love for this boy and myself. My contact with him went beyond the physical and I felt his soul. He had a vibrant, bright light burning inside of him. Feeling his spirit's strength and vitality was an inconceivable moment especially knowing how much he physically suffered when he was alive.
The message was clear. The message was – LOVE. – Laurelyn Martin NDE

“I know that other people have not seen Jesus – they have seen a being of light. …He said to me, ‘Yvonne, I love my babies.’ And when he [said] ‘my babies’, he meant… ‘I love humanity, I love humanity, I love my babies…’ It means every one of us regardless of where we come from – our life, our gender, our race, anything happening in our life, he loves everybody completely, and perfectly. And I said, ‘Oh yeah, I know, you were Jesus. You came on Earth to teach love, so no wonder.’ That’s what I was thinking. And then he said to me, ‘I’ll show you how.’ And when he said that, he took my heart and put my heart into his heart and we became one. And it was a complete oneness… we merged together, as one. For a few minutes I could actually feel each emotion Jesus had for humanity. And that’s the moment I cannot express with human words. It is way beyond any vocabulary we have. Imagine billions and billions of waves of compassion and love and forgiveness and kindness and goodness and light and purity — waves going for Earth and carrying us through, lifting us through. It’s difficult to explain that one experience. It was just beyond this world… There’s a prayer Jesus said when he was on Earth. He said ‘God let us be one like you and I are one…’ And that is exactly what I felt and experienced.”

Genesis Expo - Portsmouth UK

Fascinating and thought provoking exhibits; I thought the sedimentary model in real time was genius-
Fossil Shop, Bookshop of incredible material which totally undermines current thinking with clear honest facts, and soon to include a reading room. The museum now has a 2nd mezzanine floor installed in the last few years.

Unless you become like a child

Unless you become as a little child you will not enter the Kingdom.
I began talking about this in a different context with my son who is 15. I can hardly say to him forget everything you are learning in school but I wanted to prepare him a bit for the Box 1 to Box 2 leap. Here was another example today on the BBC. They announced that hugely less kids now do Saturday jobs. Exam pressures and learning pressures are now cited. Other truths may be involved...errr...like Xbox and PC Gaming....but employers, they said want to know what you have done, What is your experience. They don't look so much at what you have learned. Truth is, you can learn leftbrain stuff quite quickly. My son is very articulate. I was too. But in order to advance you have to completely relearn everything again. If the Kingdom of God had fully come we would be like Jesus and learn everything from the word go in tandem so that by aged 30 we would be as spiritually honed and thirdlevel (see Father level in 1 John 2) as we were at making skilled bits of carpentry as Jesus presumably was. (My yoke is easy was said with punning eyes by the way).
But until that time the general rule is to learn in the natural first then gradually see in the Spirit by referral. First the natural then the spiritual.
Traditionally English computer brains would regard Irish people, who process things from the word go much more spiritually and holistically, as slower people, and they were the butt of our Irish jokes before PCdom kicked in. But let me ask you this?
Who dreamed up Guinness on an international scale? What country produced great playwrights? Actually there is no small Jewish aspect to all this either.

But no....Brits generally are as thick as two shortplanks spiritually. In Russia you can discuss Checkov I am told on the tube. Brits avoid all eye contact and try to make it to their next appointment on the Rothschild hamster wheel.
A properly firing brain on a Catscan fires both sides of the brain fairly equally with something like a call exchange directing everything in a relevant way in the middle.
If we weren't brought up by masons in the West, we would be like middle easterners, or American Indians, or Buddhists, and making as many spiritual connections while we learned all the otherstuff.
    SOOOOOOO
Hence the Baptism in the Spirit. Having come to know Jesus, the original plan before the rogue forces messed up Catholics and Anglicans, was
Repent...metanoia...change your whole manner in which you think....remember Golgotha was place of the Skull...place of the thoughts!!!...
and be submerged in water so you know your own death firsthand, and be filled with the Spirit. Then like a little child to begin piecing the whole world together again but this time in Union with Christ who has come in to live your life.
1994 the Holy Spirit sovereignly broke into another generation of leftbrain locked westerners in the Toronto Blessing. The main difference with 1972 when a lot of us were baptised in the Spirit, was there was a much higher Father or Dad content!!!!
    How you do your
GOING INTO YOUR INNER ROOM to learn to meet with the Father in secret, is completely up to you. Soaking. meditating on the Word...or fixing your eyes on Jesus...without any leftbrain content....
For me it was an initial thrust of rising early in the morning and mostly dozing...but waiting on God...and it wasn't easy and it wasn't nice...but it was balanced by community and church Presence at other times....
oh and then about 30 years of piano tuning, which somehow like catholic beads, flips you into listening mode while sorting 220 out of tune strings.
Somehow , somewhere, you have to relearn everything as a child does....and all while being very outer at the same time....and being scolded by everyone because you sometimes act weird. Just wait until they start their turn. hah....we'll get our own back. We'll show them weird!!!!!!

    Lasar Living Techniques

1 Tim 4:8For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
1Tim6:10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Interspersed in this post below I am putting a couple of links to the latest in exercise and in MLM business. Why? When I have just quoted those verses?
Because those verses are attacking two wrong spirits.
Physical training does not build the Kingdom of God, which is spirit and righteousness based.
The love of money is A ROOT or in the original, probably has no article at all...but money is not THE ROOT. The independent self delusion of Satan is THE ROOT.
But in Darkness if you trace the infrastructure of this world it is held by money and deference from one organisation to another by love of money, right up the pyramid to the trillionnaires at the top. So God's Kingdom lays the axe to this structure time and time again. It used to be tithing, now it is openended according to your faith....whatever you have to give...give. "the Body is joined by that which each joint supplies." So the love of GIVING is a root of all KINGDOM!!!!!

Cutting Edge Results based ,body weight exercises (requiring absolutely no equipment)

However fat slobs like me won't be around long. John Wimber used to joke about it 10 years later he was dead. Ruth Heflin is dead. Harry Greenwood is dead. Fat Kingdom people can die young.
Poor idle Kingdom people can die young too. Give and it shall be given you, pressed down and running over.
Why hang around entrepreneurs and fitness people?
The money and the muscle are Kingdom-meaningless...but the Drive....the enthusiasm...the alertness....the bottom-line centeredness are all LASAR like qualities that are like viruses which the Kingdom can do with catching.
I'm not primarily business motivated like Richard Branson and others. I marvel at guys who in two seconds have evaluated the quickest most profitable way to do something. My wife is a whizzkid.

As you read the blurb describing how the fitness course guide put together his training don't you catch his bottomline approach? If you look into Jeunesse you can see it is based on cutting edge beauty and youthfulness and health products which is an industry with high retail value, but the bottomline is that any Fred or Freda can benefit in the marketing rewards. There is no reason anybody in the world should now be sitting on their bottomparts watching the world go by. MLM as a vehicle for earning puts wealth in everyone's hands if you choose to "market".
Millions go to TV Ad executives yearly, that now nolonger need to, it can be spread out equally through lines of referral....Fred tells Freda tells Jane tells Bob.
Residual income. Residual income seems too good to be true. It is continued income from one "piece of work". A book is resold and the author gets money. Films get reshown and actors get repaid. A piece of software gets sold years later and the person still gets paid.
MLM uses residual income incredibly effectively.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++

But this is just my diving point.
Like the trainer, I spent my single money I could ill afford going to American Schools of Ministry events with all the names at Morris Cerullo events. I recognised that as Morris only collects up people at the top of the anointing stakes, then by far the best use of money is not to go to a conference with one anointed person...but go where there are 14. But I did the same with thirdlevel stuff, I also lived 15 years more or less non stop 73-88 in different 2nd level Kingdom community life. That's all there was. And yes....quite frankly a lot of it was like living with Job's friends...I was doing just as much Job friending. I told one girl to burn her Cliff Richard albums as they were too fleshly. They had drums in.....Oh yes...don't have any ideal view of me!!!! But I had been raised in the Spirit on the Fisherfolk LPs and Dave and Dale Garratt.

This what the Spirit showed me this morning.**
If you go to anointed churches they don't know the thirdlevel tricks yet, their characters can be quite frankly awful. If you go to evangelical and denominational churches which eschew the Holy Spirit's powerful gifts and only relate to the fruit of the Spirit, on the surface at least they can appear quite godly...but you will always notice this reserve, this distance.
Cindi Estep as you will know will always write about us being One...or One thing.
Well it's good to keep speaking that out. But wherever any of our independent self delusions haven't died yet....we are not One experientially. We are still stuck in
"Because you are not a hand and I am an eye I have no need of you etc."
Only Christ knows Christ, and that instantly.
If a man's will is to do the will of My Father then He shall know of the teaching whether it be of God.....ie instant download.
So this is what the Spirit said....
ONLY Spirit and Word gets the results.
Only the interaction constantly** between Spirit and fruit keeps churches healthy.
Fruit without signs and power manifestation creates these rather sluggish people who meander along having no idea how short the time is, and having no real fear of the Lord. After Ananias and Sapphira drop dead in front of you, you don't continue like John MacArthur and John Piper, content to do behavioural management sermons for decades with nothing really happening. You think....something equivalent to "Flip me! What was that?????"
But if you get too SIGN-CEntric on its own like Bethel, you completely miss most of the actual gospel whose whole aim is to turn Genesis 3 on its head and having us live completely with a Galatians 2:20 consciousness.
"I come to do Thy will....says Jesus in us...as it is written of Me in the Book...behold a Body thou hast prepared for me"

So Jesus Bill Johnson says...no Bill...today I am not doing meetings, the Father and I are.....and He tells Bill exactly what Christ Bill is in fact doing. "But I have a God Channel programme to do, I have to stand on the podium and generally let people admire me and learn about my gifts." "No Christ Bill isn't doing that today, that;'s all secondlevel stuff...." " What Jesus?"
These signs follow those who believe....BUT.....also....seek first the Kingdom of God and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS....what's that? whatever CHRISTYOU is doing today.....then all these things will be added unto you.

Magna Carta and The Gate of Miphkad

    Magna Carta Libertatum
There are many MOVES of GOD and we are currently living in the GATE of MIPHKAD. So on the 800th Anniversary of Magna Carta let's talk about it.
Magna Carta was one of the first BIG BREAKS in the PYRAMID. It did not involve common people yet, but it WAS a PAVING STONE towards democracy...or what Revelation calls Laodicea (the Revelation Church of) = the OPINION or WORD of the LAOS...the lay people...everybody!!!
The KINGDOM that is COMING and now is, is described in New Covenant terms in Jeremiah 31. ....and everyone shall know Him from the least to the greatest
and in Ephesians....the Body of Christ isn't some holy huddle club run by some pyramid pastor that you see now on every street corner
IT IS THE BRIDGEHEAD OF ANOTHER REALM
    ANOTHER LOVE CULTURE
    ANOTHER CREATION
IMPORTING THE KINGDOM into space and time
but [i]speaking the truth in love, [j]we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together [k]by what every joint supplies, according to the [l]proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
What has begun in the natural realms in 1215 needs to happen spiritually in more and more bridgehead communities across the Earth. And listen to me you who treat me as a fantasist. Get a coffee, sit down and learn something from this little man of God.
I was born again into this in the Jesus People Move...so was my wife 150 miles north of me before I knew her.
In our renewed Baptist Church Thursday night prayer meetings led by Eric Chambers (A Yorkshire/NewZealander) who threw open the meetings and trained us like an elite advanced corps in the hallowed art of Psalm 123. (As a servant looks to the hand  of His master etc....JESUS....NOT ERIC. Virtually unknown protocol on earth in 1973)
1973-6 practiced this in Ron and Pam Knight's home while training up a prophet guy called Les. The Holy Spirit did the training...Ron supplied the house and I played guitar and songs poured through me.
1977 Did the same thing in a prayer group of Baptised in the Spirit German Catholics who had just experienced Revival in Paderborn. Lived and worshipped together for 6 months. Martin Franke had been with Judson Cornwall for a month in USA, who had been taught the protocols by Ed Miller. Link coming up
1977-78 - Practiced the same in the University CU at Exeter and in weekly gatherings in our hall rooms. many converted and filled with Spirit
1978 Northern France. Experienced 2 weeks full on thirdlevel church with a family called Nugues...instant healing from epilepsy of my host....angel singing outside the car...supply provision...Kingdom networking
1978 arrived in Emsworth which had R Edward Miller and JorgePradas as their apostles and practiced church meetings run in the Psalm 123 protocol
2000-2012 part of Havant Church which was a church filled with prophetic people who ran meetings the same way, and a more advanced corps meeting to which people came from 100 miles away called Key of David meetings
What I am saying is not....woh...impressive list
What I am saying is the KINGDOM works the same everywhere according to the Ephesians verses above ch4:15-16
So what is the GATE OF MIPHKAD? Prophetically?
The 10th Gate of Jerusalem was the Gate where the elders sit in judgment (already no pyramid pastors...but ELDERSS..SSS.SSSS!!!!!) and where they inspected the offerings for blemishes.
The Ephesians Version of the Gate is the Corporate Presence of God which is the whole BODY setting up a Presence, which is like a forcefield into which no unclean thing can enter
isaiah 35.8-10A highway will be there, a roadway,
And it will be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean will not travel on it,
But it will be for him who walks that way,
And fools will not wander on it.
9 No lion will be there,
    Nor will any vicious beast go up on it;
[f]These will not be found there.
But the redeemed will walk there,
10 And the ransomed of the Lord will return
And come with joyful shouting to Zion,
With everlasting joy upon their heads.
They will [g]find gladness and joy,
And sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Psalm 1:4-5 The wicked are not so,
But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
Now the Gate of Miphkad doesn't stop sinners coming in!!!!
It stops sinners coming in and staying sinners. There is a Presence
that paralyses sin. When you understand God is all Life, and He is the sole Source of real LIFE going on in the Universe...you understand the importance of the BRIDGEHEAD source of this invading LIFE. Rich Novek used to say
God is the ONLY THING going on....ONLY GOD...ONLY NOW. This is the single eye that Jesus talks about. Not the Illuminati manipulating and controlling eye working as an external force to make you do things.
The real single eye is to open your inner eye to see Psalm 123
to see what the Master is doing
Jesus said "I only do what I see the Father is doing."
All my Christian life I have moved with such a people. I know this Gate of Miphkad thing works. If you want to join me or learn how to do it contact me or learn it your self alongside others of circumcised Jeremiah 31 hearts!!!!!     07876795325 or 07000intune@googlemail.com

Lance Lambert's death and the Gate of Miphkad via Loom Art

Suddenly around the 10th May my Lance Lambert post 2 images below was at no 1 in my Top Ten list. This periodically happens but it was only when John Stevens told me about an upcoming memorial service for his friends in Britain that I realised he had died.  For more info click on CBN News below

The MOST THIRDLEVEL of Lance's books as far as my limited knowledge of him goes was  one of the final books  " Jacob I have loved." linked to in the above post. Without a clear understanding of Jacob
you won't understand your own Christian Life
you won't understand the Jacob Church that God has been raising
you won't understand Israel and Chapter 11 of Romans
and you won't understand why God, BANG IN THE MIDDLE of the whole of the rest of the 1960,s and 70s BODY of CHRIST, which was almost entirely consumed with the REMA WORD of a corporate Christianity in a Spirit-filled context, should have lance Lambert suddenly raised up to not only bang on about Israel, and the fulfilment of prophecies....but to actually emigrate and set his entire stall there in Jerusalem for the rest of his life.

    BUT FIRST......

Ephesians 4 So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart19 and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality [n]for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.

I woke up with this and a strong strong sense about the halfbuilt Tower that Jesus spoke about, and the walls and Gates of Jerusalem in New Covenant terms strewn halfbuilt half destroyed all over the planet.  I saw a Facebook status about Jeff Turner's upcoming seminars....in response I wrote this:

What is the half built Tower? What is this hiring an army but having inadequate funds? What are these 10 virgins and only 5 get picked.....I mean they all had oil,so already they couldn't be Catholics Baptists or Reformed people who openly reject the baptism in the Holy Spirit? How many of Jeff Turners seminars before the whole Tower gets built? How many Andre Rabe events before the army actually wins the war? Why does Noahs boat need 3 stories for Pete's sake.....surely it would be top heavy or something? Why the stalk the ear and the full ear of corn? Why the way the truth and the life? What on earth does Paul mean by living in the futility of the mind? Why do.we have to.abide in any Word and that way show we are disciples....who then get to know the truth and that truth sets us free. Must be a powerful truth.....and why such a threefold cord.of.events all the time? And why does Jeff never say these things if he is building whole Towers?

As we see in the verses above, living in the futility of our minds is directly related to callousness and hardness of heart.
There is a decision to be made about allowing our dependence on our thinking to be shredded at the Cross, and most denominational churches preach DISGUISEDLY against this, saying that God created our minds, they are God given, so he means us to not be "UNTHINKING IN OUR CHRISTIANITY."     He surely does ofcourse....but this is just forktongue preaching for not wanting the "spirit of our minds" to be exchanged totally at the Cross, and for that to happen we have to trust our minds to God as we hand them over for the "refit".   Denominational people and most first and secondlevel Christians (see 1 John 2) are actually characterised by
non-severed links to their previous way of life in their thinking
and by a callousness and hardness, and cynicism regarding God's promise that we can be free from sin.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Within a sentence or two everyone gives themselves away exactly where they are in the Spirit. SELAH

    ++++++++++++++++

The reason we have to leave the futility of our minds is that that is the very place of Darkness where we have been locked up in a cage. It's like asking a black and white TV monitor to do colour?  The best summary of the Kingdom and what it is lies in the 12 tribes of Israel, the 12 disciples and the 12 Gates of Jerusalem.
The other day John Castleman was with a child who suddenly announced her joy at completeness by saying 12 times 12 equals 144. I suddenly had the related thought about 144,000 as having yet another meaning.
Once we have left the parochial /shismatic tunnel vision of our own futile thinking, our own black and white TV Monitor, and crossed the line of Spirit into Kingdom thinking...

God can start to blow our brains like this.....

The Body is joined by that (of Christ) which every joint (when working properly) supplies.

So we now see that each of the 12 Gates which have a meaning by the way, and represent revelational areas of the Kingdom....when thoroughly rebuilt again as we saw in Nehemiah.
    each start to to

    CO - RELATE
And each supply strand  is BUILDING THE COMPLETE BODY.

So If each of 12 Gates supply 1000 bits of Christ information....can you see how one description of the Body of Christ would be

144,000?Or the HOUSE of 144,000 Readybuilt strands.
Like Loom art, but all I could find was Tim Allen's picture which contains 4 strands each going from a good deal more than 12 points....but you get the feel

    Eternal Loom by Tim Allen
    Barkow Leibinger's Loom Art Installation

This is perhaps a vision of the Body of Christ sharing from one geography to another geography. One local Body to another local Body and so on.

As I said in the Lance Lambert post, Lance and I were so far apart in 1978 when he visited Isca Church in Exeter, we didn't share enough theology to be able to begin talking.
How much of the world is still like that?

After being immersed into the Vision of the Church through Jorge Pradas and Graham Pulkingham and the London leaders like Gerald Coates and David Mansell, then living in community for the next best part of 15 years  (1973-88), I had a bolt out of the blue revelational download on Israel

I GOT WHAT Lance was on about!!!

However Jews who live in Israel  are getting no more of a holistic feedback than the BBC gives us in the UK, as criticised by John Pilger.
I urge everybody to read Juri Lina's   Architects of Deception to start to get a handle on the real world situation and who is really behind the destruction of the Living Church.

Linear thinking is no match for Kingdom thinking.
This is why we use the phrase "Rightly Dividing the Word of God."

I meet it all the time of Facebook.

One group writes Israel off     and forgets Romans 11 completely or suddenly starts to spiritualise it.
Another group like Lance Lambert only sees Israel, and does not understand that Ezekiel 28 specifically describes a Kingdom that is rebellious and is ruled from Sidon or Tel Aviv and is related totally to the evil King of Tyre and his self- aggrandizement. I see no more appropriate fulfilment myself than the House of Rothschild which owns 80% of Israel's land surface.

But the actual answer to BOTH GROUPS is not to get the facts clear....there are probably too many unknown ones still.....the ANSWER is to move out of linear thinking into TOTAL TRUTH HOLY SPIRIT THINKING which lays bare the ROOT or SPIRIT behind the facts as they are given.

Freemasonry twists all facts to their benefit and to the pain and misery of mankind. In the end you feel this dull Spirit ache when ever they are behind something. SELAH

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    The 10th Gate
This then is the CROSSING of the LINE OF SPIRIT in the Body of Christ worldwide.
It is known as the GATE of MIPHKAD, the 10th Gate Nehemiah had to rebuild. It is the inspection Gate where the elders used to check the animals for suitability of sacrifice. It is where the Elders used to meet in the Gate to judge.

In thirdlevel Church as all cross the line of Spirit , and the New Covenant is revealed fully according to Jeremiah 31......ALL tribes and Body Parts form a Spirit crucible like a LOOM ART PICTURE which  "judges" from which spirit everyone is moving.   It's what democaracy should have been, but could never be because they live in the independent self not rightly related to the Head , King Jesus.

It's moving from Laodicea which is the last church, which means the opinion of the Laity....
to a Laity  ALL RIGHTLY RELATED TO THEIR HEAD
and walking in that brokenness of spirit that is simply GALATIANS 2:20 LIVING!!!!
