Elisha Baker on news about Rolland and Heidi Baker

This is Elisha Baker, again, writing on behalf of my parents Rolland and Heidi —

As some of you know, my mom had a series of spine surgeries about three months ago that kept her in recovery some time. She has made great progress, recently started speaking again, and is extremely excited to visit more churches soon. She loves being able to worship in community with all her heart.

Unfortunately, my dad came back to the US for Christmas and was recently hospitalized with a significant heart condition. He is stable, but for us, a chunk of Christmas had to happen at Providence Mission Viejo hospital this year. He and my mom are staying close together right now, and are totally focused on that.

On behalf of my family, we do want to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas. We are all in the Lord’s hands, we will always desire to rejoice and celebrate with the Body of Christ in all things. Thank you for your prayers, your friendship, and your attention on these social media pages, in person, and in so many beautiful churches around the world. I wish we could communicate our thanks more adequately to each one of you. We trust there will come a future day when we have all the time in eternity to do so.

It’s a holy night. Christ is born.

— Elisha
