Portland Tongues

 

In 2024, we had an outbreak of tongues and interpretation in our church. God released so many wonderful words in that season that have already come to pass. During this time, we had prayer meetings where we would come together and intercede for Portland. One lady, a non-believer, came into the church looking for deliverance. She had been deep into new age practices and stumbled across deliverance videos online. She realized she was struggling with many things and found our church to investigate.

I invited everyone in the front to pray and honestly, It sounded chaotic. People were yelling in tongues and it was probably the worst night for an unbeliever to come in. But, she came up front. She said that she heard a voice say go up front and she tried resisting it, and then suddenly she felt an angel grab her and move her up front.

As I was pacing back and forward, I got an interpretation “You’re covenant made with blood has been annulled.” I wrote it down and kept praying. While this was happening, this woman started having visions of all the sins she had committed and was cut to the heart. Suddenly, she got up and said to me, “I need to talk to you, I’m not saved” I looked at her and said “Do you want to be” and she said “yes.”

I led her through a salvation prayer, she repented of her sins and I started going after deliverance. God reminded me of the interpretation of tongues I recieved earier. She previously had worked at an abortion clinic and that word brought breakthrough. She was set free from many demons and got filled with the Holy Spirit speaking in tongues. Then I explained baptism and she was so hungry for God, she immediately got baptized with no change of clothes. The rest of the night  she sat wet, but beaming with the joy of the Lord

Now she is a wrecking ball against the enemy, boldly sharing the Gospel and helping others find freedom from demons. Praise the Lord! When God pours out His Spirit, there is fruit. Lives get changed!g
