How's it take us so long to see what's there????

 

 Look Paul's teachings have sat in the Bible for 2000 years . How did it take so long for an individual to re establish the gospel ? Namely Luther . Well , EH Broadbent Pilgrim Church 1933 makes it clear the Holy Spirit was always moving, raising Bible believing groups .But another reason was Catholics had prevented people having access to the Bible themselves and any way it was in Greek and Latin and only the priests had the education to read it , so ofcourse the likelihood that it would be a priest who changed things was very high. 

 Why did it take 500 more years to have an actual Pentecostal Move ? Well I guess in the 100 years or more beforehand it was black slaves and who listened to slaves? Well ,European dumbasses what do you think Joel was prophesying ? Upon your servants and maid servants.....Acts 2 I mean it's hardly hidden is it at the beginning of the only gospel of the church itself ? 

Then ,[n addition, why' s it taken ( Presbyterians Brethren and Quakers excepted ) 100 years since the Holy Spirit was outpoured for Jack Fortenberry to make the discovery that every single seminary on earth is talking absolute rubbish .....and both in heaven now before the Throne under the Head Jesus AND ON EARTH TOO.. Churches are not run by a king Pope , a king priest, a king vicar or a king pastor . Obviously you don't expect a Catholic or an Anglican to know anything because they are just like BBC news anchors reading prompters religiously known as liturgy ..... But Rodney Howard Browne ,Heidi Baker ,John Wimber, Bill Johnson,   Rheinhard Bonnke , Ed Miller , Benny Hinn , 100 years after the Welsh and Azusa Street waves ....and 50 years after the Jesus Move and the charismatic Move .....what on earth do we think we are reading as we read every passage of the Bible mentioning church ? 

We have a little brain translator that has a readout in churchuguese or churchlish . How about we use ecclesiaguese or ecclesialish the original church language in the Spirit?

 And He ascended and gave gifts to men .

A Bigger Revival Cycle than Normal

 

I don't know what led up to the Pentecostal outpourings in several key locations , except as soon as the 1850s revival waned the Welsh chapel prayer meetings were on the job.

Maybe by then , both in the States and UK they were on approximate 50 year cycles and that is what they had learned to do . I don't know about Black Forest the heart of occult Bavaria or Armenia or the Pacific Islands . They will have a story .

I lived the 60s and it was a smaller version of now for negativities . Loads of alarm clocks set up by the enemy including Communist Cuba . Now with hindsight we can see Tavistock BBC programming Britain by increments , making it look a natural thing . Yesterday I saw a post for a sitcom called Robin's Nest . Totally unrealistic in practice because in reality the mixed sexes or same sex individuals close themselves off , each having their own lives .

The main thing is the Jesus Move happened .

They gathered in houses because the other churches wouldn't have Baptism in the Spirit .

Or some Word based churches , like some Baptist churches and some more open Brethren took baptism in the Spirit on board .

Bible weeks happened , really the start of the Spirit filled conferences that are more cross the board then just the Pentecostal groups , and these became the new churches .

The missing link in both evangelicalism and the new churches is the same . The Holy Spirit is doing His job taking people through the material of Romans and Ephesians , but we haven't the thirdlevellers still that existed in the New Testament . And quite simply , this sentence of Jesus sorts that out .

If you abide in My Word then you are truly My disciples , and you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free .

Once there are thirdlevel churches .....the awkward ,Romans 6 and 7 process can be midwifed .

It's fantastic we can have Acts Jerusalem Church in our Bibles to show us it's possible , indeed it's the Spirit norm once people see ......

This is primarily what apostles pray for .....

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened .

Once you see the independent self and you can see with a single eye so your body is filled with Light , you are your own Bethel set of earpods.

You begin to be revival going on .

The life of God precedes Ephesians and Romans .

That's just like the Watchman Nee and Norman Grubb descriptions of what always is .

King David has so many parallels because , though not yet inside the New Covenant , he is seeking hard after God in his heart , and finding these eternal places inside the IAm God outside all time .

Isaiah and Ezekiel and so many others are doing the same .

Enoch is actually wassing not , so amazing was what he got hold of .

We know there are awkward bits in the importation of Christ into our souls because Jesus tells us parables .

Because of our Fall lock- in to us being soul centric and believing we are soul empowered beings like Richard Dawkins , the initial Word of God is only heard as words in our left brain . It hasn't reached the soil of our heart and spirit yet , which is like seed falling on the road way . The very next bird flying on on the BBC can pick up the seed and eat it up and that's more or less it .

But the next really really hard time , even more than the persecutions , are the bitter weeds and traumas of our twisted inner seeing . Some of it is ours , some goes back 6000 years , culturally hard wired into us .

Our current churches aren't churches in the ecclesia meaning . Only in the solo ministry teaching synagogue sense with a warm up band .

True ecclesia isn't just book teaching , it's the pillar and ground of truth of a brand new community off the Genesis 3 independent self platform .

We have exoerienced churches with some measure of DIVERSE ONE in 1 Corinthians 12 but it's true to say we never reach DIVERSE TWO because we have a king .....a pastor .....when really 1 John 1 shows a set of DIVERSE MINISTRIES , born out by Revelation 12.1 a Crown of 12stars breadth .

Otherwise you get stuck in the pastoral or the helps ministry or the prophetic or obscure fine points about teachings .

But DIVERSE MINISTRIES brings us into entanglement and that's what Life is ...everything coming at us from all angles .

Then we are built up in faith and expectation to reach about Day 3 of a conference which is the THIRD DIVERSE .....the Holy Spirit sovereignly doing His operations .

We lived many of those in a protracted way in Bible House . One of the most complex lasted 2 years or so and involved turning a paralysed 28 year old into a normal married wife in Barcelona though herself Geordie Newcastle . But it was a whole work of Sovereign revelation to her , and Body members doing steps of raw obedience .

In a meeting it's different manifestations of the Holy Spirits visitation .

Here's two truths ........as Norman Grubb taught , Galatians 2.20, Romans 12.1 , Colossians 3 3 living meand you stay in revival .

The Holy Spirit sticks around the living Christ in us .

Otherwise we are spending our whole lives still in Genesis 3 but rubbing our Aladdins Lamp to get the genie .

The Living Christ doesn't have a pastor .

All are ours .

And that right there is the Song of Solomon 5 issue .

We don't appear to submit . We submit to Word coming from elders plural , which is proper ecclesia , but no , we are not part of a pyramid .

We are in something called roof with holes Tabernacles . Some bits intersect with our current churches ......but it's a bit like the 60s again .....the train is still arriving on Platform 9 3/4.

The other truth comes through R Edward Miller , and I don't see them as mutually exclusive but both ...and ....continual revival and this truth ........

The Holy Spirit works in Feast Cycles .....not earthly Jewish cycles .....well He may do as well .....but in the Spirit He takes us through His own seasons of Passover Pentecost and Tabernacles .

Or petsambulations around Nehemiah's 12 Jerusalem Gates which have massive meaning to be unearthed .

By the time we reach Gate 9 the Eastern Gate , Aldi the number of months of childbirth .

By the time we reach Feast of outpouring of water and Feast of Ingathering in the Tabernacles week , that's Sovereign Revival .....always bigger than we can imagine .

God says in Isaiah .....behold I do a new thing will you now perceive it ?

In the 70s when the prophets are citing this verse , we all sat on our laurels and thought " ofcourse ofcourse it's baptism in the Spirit , we got this ".

But no .....God meant what He said .

This really is platform 9 3/4 stuff .

It's thirdlevel church .

It's the treasure in the field of mud .

It's also mystical with all these believers being caught up in the Spirit in the more recent moves .

It's both acacia box Mercy Seat Norman Grubb and Khavod Charlie Shamp or Kathie Walters or put in any names you know .

I spent from 1972 to 1988 in worship situations .

Either leading like Amersham , West Germany , and Exeter and co leading in Emsworth .

Then I did my Song of Solomon 5, and got locked into the freefall of faith and Galatians 2.20.

People smell me .....and they may be smelling residue .....but quite often they are smelling a complete departure from the secondlevel , which occurred very physically in Emsworth .

While Moses raising the snake , and Gideon's Ephod and maybe Rachel's tomb were good at the time , they became idols .

While Israel had to go through the wilderness they were never meant to stay there . It became their idol and they died inside it .

The Pentecostal and Charismatic womb produced the Feast Of Tabernacles baby .

The Word of God was never Book of Ezra on its own , but it moved to Book of Nehemiah .

The Word of God is always Light on a Hill , City on a Hill .

The Word of God never remained in prayer meetings inside John Milton's cottage nor William Penn's cottage in Chalfont St Giles but as Bill Bryson wrote , it became Pennsylvania and the Great American Experiment .

The Dragon is always poised to pounce on the next Manchild .

If he's nolonger poised ....that means he has already eaten your network .

There was a 400 year lull before Jesus .

There's been a longer than 50 year cycle in revival .

Behold I do a new thing can you now perceive it????

How Long Will We Remain Ignorant ? - Intellect

This is a post about Different types of Ignorance....

Wilful Ignorance. We chose it. And we choose to remain there. As Stubborn kids.
Well, just before writing this, I have made up my mind. If I sense some wilful ignorance going on in me, I want to be open to change, be open to more of God. So, fasten your seat belts. You wanted more of God too....you came to the right post.

The Meaning of Ignorance
n.) A willful neglect or refusal to acquire knowledge which one may acquire and it is their duty to have.
(n.) The condition of being ignorant; the want of knowledge in general, or in relation to a particular subject; the state of being uneducated or uninformed.

The Brain is a big box and in some way which we may never understand , our spirit is somehow connected.
Throughout the Bible our component parts are described by these words. Mind.Heart.Spirit. Soul. Will. Then Jesus came along and spoke of us "having ears to hear" and "eyes to see" and clearly not meaning flappy head gear nor fleshy embedded baubles above our nose.

In the last post I made reference to the fact that PETscans, or brain scans show up the areas of our brain that register electrical activity when we are involved in certain activities.
Musicophilia by Oliver Sachs is a fascinating book charting all the neurological cases he has come across that relate to the field of music.
This clip relates to Amusia which is the rare condition of a brain that does not seem to have the ability to make any sense of music at all.


Some of you may be impatient at this point, asking yourselves why is this relevant to my life?Please hang in there.
In my piano showroom I get couples visiting and sometimes there will be one keen to learn piano, and the partner may possibly have an amusia condition, or something along that spectrum.They humour the other one by tagging along, but you know the whole exercise is meaningless to them. Sadly, they may be the main earner, so whereas they think nothing of spending £10,000 or more on water activities (Hayling Island-the birthplace of windsurfing remember) sadly, they will only pay £300 for a cheap secondhand upright piano with me.


Another alternate example. http://www.helenhiles.co.uk/ is a Christian artist who is a true Kingdom painter. She comes to our Key of David meetings and main conferences. She once confided that she cannot really listen to Peter Stott for a whole message because after a while she gets verbal overload. She finds if she paints or draws at the same time she is able to take on board what he is saying better. It was her work that was being demonstrated here.


So in discussing ignorance I am going to refer to many aspects of the brain.


The above two examples describe people who do not seem to have capabilities that the majority of us regard as normal. This is how they are. It is a condition. There can be no blame. Schools and education centres need to be increasingly aware that people are different. When it comes to learning, perhaps there is no true "normal", we are all so individual in our approaches.



This article is going to cover a more wilful ignorance. Having been shown there is more, we prefer to turn our head and stick with what we know. Stick within our comfort zone.


First of all the left-brain. Intellect.


Early Pentecostalism in the UK had a much greater effect than current TV historians Simon Sharma and David Starkey realise, spawning an Apostolic movement that preached into areas all over the globe.When I was in Kenya in December 1985 I was surprised how many incommunicable little places had their own Apostolic hut. The reason historians refer to Methodism and not Pentecostalism is that the latter was taken up primarily among the working classes and just does not register on a university radar. History is always shaped by the people in power, so at the moment, because the UK lives under the shadow of a restrictive form of left-brain thought shaped by the Enlightenment, nothing that falls outside of that remit is ever referred to.


In coming years we are going to be honouring a lot of things that have up until now been missed out altogether. This has already started with the Quaker movement, who , in typical God history style, were excluded from power effectively because no member was allowed in Cambridge or Oxford Universities. But instead of curling up and dying, they entered wholeheartedly into the modern 19th Century surge into industrialisation, only a lot of them took a specialised interest in chocolate. So it was we have Frys,Cadburys,the village of Bournville,and many many more. I call this God history, because it is the repeated story. "Left-brain locked" unbelievers exclude God's people, who then by their exclusion become stronger in God, coming up with something new that the rest of the world then comes to them for. This was the story of Joseph in the Old testament. This describes the whole history of the Jews, who have fulfilled scripture, and become a blessing to the whole earth, having rightly risen to prominance in every field of intellectual eminence.

Some of the largely untold stories in the UK would relate to other God movements such as Darbyism. Another story would be how all Baptist churches had to be built so many hundred feet set back from the road.

So, get this England! Pompous Anglicans behaving like bastards (Bastards in that Anglicanism is a bastard form of the New Covenant, being neither fish nor fowl, neither Catholic nor Non Conformist, neither Jewish nor properly New Covenant) imperiously framed Baptists as Non Conformist, while themselves conducting the child abuse that is taking an ignorant baby and possibly against the child's later will, seeking to enter it into a New Covenant contract with God by the back door! In other words Infant Baptism. The irony is ofcourse that Infant Baptism is totally Non Conformist as far as God's expressed will is concerned. It does not conform to any New Testament scripture anywhere, neither in letter nor in spirit.

Scripture is clear. You repent, believe, then get baptised. One tiny verse which vaguely describes a jailer's household being baptised supports the entire edifice of sixteen hundred years practice.

Only intellects divorced from God's life could ever make such a ballsup of three simple phrases:Repent,believe,be baptised. And this is a good example of the intellect used "in its own right"....it starts building things that even its own rational evidence and rational process of thought construction won't even support. Which ofcourse has a very dark side to it....namely a very clever philosophical nation like Germany constructing a "logical" edifice that leads to efficiently murdering your own intelligentsia and musicians in its backyard gas ovens!!!


So back to the subject of intellect....

The charismatic movement initiated through Michael Harper here in the UK was a different matter from Pentecostalism. A much greater percentage of those involved were highly educated. You would have thought this was ideal. That David Pawson, David Watson, Jimmy Graham, sorry Dr. James Graham,Roger Price,Tony Morton,Arthur Wallis would have it all. That they would immediately have registered on the radar of university and media life here. But not a bit of it.


Here are two causes.

• The size of the Enlightenment giants in the land! The strength of the unbelieving left-brain hold over the BBC and universities.




• The fact that these ministries may have been mature intellectuals, that had experienced baptism in the Spirit, IS NOT THE SAME as mature third level ministries who move deeply in the Spirit of God as well as having clear penetrative insight intellectually. This would also be the case with RT Kendall who after many years of holding out against the charismatic movement while preaching in Westminster Chapel finally had the experience of being filled with the Holy Spirit himself. Another brilliant and eloquent teacher, he simply would not have had a clue how to run a second and third level type meeting. It was not in his training. Had he lived longer, he probably would have made it his priority. He only knew how to run meetings in first level format: A warmed up hymn sandwich!

My background is very similar to Watchman Nee's beginnings. I became terribly depressed after having achieved 11 A's in Dr Challoner's Grammar School at 12 and realising Intellectual Prowess didn't change a bleepin' thing. I still didn't like myself. I didn't gain any more love and affection from anybody. I think my teacher father was in the frame here too. God seemed terribly distant and unreal and early 70s Methodism seemed to be absolute rubbish. Neither belief nor complete unbelief....just a hopelessly confused denomination.

So after conversion and baptism in the Spirit I came to distrust intellectualism. I felt discarded by a Britain that only believed in the left-brain. But having read Watchman Nee's Normal Christian Life,Sit Walk Stand,Release of the Spirit,Song of Songs, I came to see early on that the intellect did have a place, but couldn't quite define how it fit into my new life in Christ.

Evangelicals and Pentecostals of the period largely shunned higher learning, probably because they saw many of their own entering university as Christians and leaving as educated unbelievers. This largely happened with my own first girlfriend. Although only a girlfriend for a while, she was present for all my Christian teen life, so I remember the utter shock that someone who had been deeply impacted by the corporate life of the Fisherfolk as I was, plus party to the tremendous "Key of David" forerunners in our Baptist Church....how could she then lose it all and marry a non-Christian? She has since come back to the Lord and been used in worship leading again.

So what then is the right use of the intellect?

I've been thinking more and more about the believer and his or her relationship to what we call church. It struck me that it might be a bit like a baby's relationship with its umbilical cord. What I mean is that so long as the child is in the womb then the cord plays a vital role...

Interesting train of thought. I have been in such a process for a couple of years myself deliberating whether to leave my present church or not. I have tried, without success, the last four years to introduce my pastor to the grace message. It seems to me that God is building an "cyberspace" congregation where the New Covenant truths can flow unimpeded and I feel an urge to be in that torrent.

I haven't been in the organized religious community or in an organized religious entertainment centre (some people call it church) for 4 or 5 years now. My relationship with the Loed has never been better and I do not miss the church community at all. After all, you and I ARE the church! I have also noticed an amazing increase in the "cyberspace" congregation. People "called out" from virtually every country in the world. God is (as usual) doing an awesome work. Praising and thanking Him.

If you are coming in from the outside you must forgive the jargon I use. Regular blog readers know that my use of first,second and third levels is quite specific, but as the TheoCentric bloglink shows, you can further subdivide the Christian life in just the same way that you might describe the development of our own lives according to say, decades.

But here, and in the Paul Anderson Walsh series of books the definitions of 1 John 2 are used: Children,Young Men,Fathers. These are not sexual definitions. These are Spirit.

Hence Mother Basilea Schlink (Darmstadt,Germany)was one of the Fathers in my personal life. She was one of only a handful of people in the Earth in the 70s to point to a real Biblical understanding of growth in the believer.

Unless we work from these Biblical definitions we will not understand what on earth is going on in our lives, nor have any real shape in our understanding of what church is, what church is for and what limits and boundaries are placed on the function of church.

To further confound people's left-brain understandings...and really you should be leaving these parts of your brain outside by the door for this next bit....

Ezekiel talks about a vision of wheels within wheels...

Nothing describes seasons of growth better.

Simultaneously you have the believer's growth stages

You have the growth stages of a local church expression.

But you also have the macro scale of the Church in the Earth. For centuries, the whole identity of the Church was with getting people saved from hell. In the last century the Pentecostal/Charismatic effusion concerned itself presenting a gospel of power, of signs and wonders to effect miraculous changes here and now on Earth. Actually, the initial foundation had been laid through the Quakers and the Brethren, re-establishing more Biblical patterns of meetings where "Everyone hath a", with which to bless and upbuild other believers.

The third level is I believe upon us now. This is where the whole direction of the church is set to birth Christ in a believer. Not the birth of new birth. This is rather the birth of a fully operational son of God in the Earth, who in his/her turn knows how to reproduce others to the same level. This is unique to our time period.

I like Frank Viola's angle in his book from Eternity To Here. This is also to be found in Juan Carlos Ortiz's book "Disciple".

The Church is NOT ABOUT US. Although we are in it.

It is not about how we feel.

It is not about whether we enjoy it or not. But if it is conducted in the Holy Spirit we should.

The Church is for the Lord.

As Ortiz described in detail,most churches, if born again at all, are piles of unrelated bricks.

Believers neither really know why they are there. Who they really are. And what their relation to other believers is.

All of us at birth are contaminated with lust...for power, for sex, for things. Baptism in the Spirit

is not the complete antidote. The Birth of Christ in a believer is the antidote. Saul, in the Old Testament was anointed and quickly entered into leadership. David, had anointing...but he had something else too...a heart change...made even greater after the sad episode with Bathsheba.

Churches are presently run by men and women, who many times are not even born again. Or born again yet not baptised in the Spirit. Or baptised in the Spirit but with absolutely no idea that a third level of growth exists, let alone that they are called to impart to others that same Life of Christ.

Jorge Pradas's vision, greatly influenced by Ed Miller, (both in Argentina) is described in his book (in Spanish),"Congregados para darle gloria" "Gathered for the purpose of giving the Lord Glory". This is the Church. It's all about God's glory. It's about gathering around His real Presence. Learning to relate together with a King, a Lord, and Friend.

The Church is unique. When we gather as little as two or three then mystically He is there in our midst. Does this take away from our personal position in Christ? Living as Christ in our forms as us? No. But when we gather as instructed in the Bible some really unique things occur. We are given gifts for one another that are the precise rhema word that we might be needing right now...if only to confirm what God may be speaking to us individually anyway.The Power of the Lord is experienced tangibly. Unbelievers who are present are confronted with what is basically a miracle week by week...."How can such a body of disparate people such as this, all ages, all intelligences,both sexes, all backgrounds, move in such a unified unplanned fashion? Without notes? Without string pulling? Often times with completely new beautiful songs? Or specific words of knowledge about exact conditions and circumstances that could not be known...How can this happen? Especially in today's secular world?"

The problem is the Church is mostly not like that. It is string pulling. It is gathering around one leader's set of skills. It is a pile of unrelated bricks. And very little Presence. Emotion, yes. Overhead projection. Maybe a worship band. But that's not what I have described above is it?

And so anyway. This is the difficult thing for Free Believer's on the internet and this is the difficult thing for members of what I call large "warehouse churches", particularly in USA, Australia and now in the UK.

Size in itself is not a problem. But are the Biblical components for growth there for you in that warehouse church? The ones I've described to get you growing supernaturally.

To "Free Believers", pulling away from a church to establish yourselves in a more 3D relationship with God, is not in itself implausible. I had to go that way. Actually, most of the Bible characters seemed to go that way. So it's not like we are unique here.

But what is important is to get the complete overview. The answer to bad church is not no church....it is good church. And this last sentence presents a challenge to both sides of the divide:"Free Believers" and "Warehouse Christians".

Good church runs in the Melchizedek order. The Lord of the Universe runs it. He does use His own ministry giftings to achieve certain ends....but the end is ALWAYS this.

Jesus wants to live His Life through you as you. Exactly as he originally made you, before sin snaffled some of your divine image. There...just there....ministry giftings tail away into insignificance....because....hush now....the believer is in Union with his or her Christ. And what they get up to, like in a marriage chamber...is frankly no business of yours....so just back away, whistling to yourself, just as if you are not there. Got it? That is the Jesus Pattern of Ministry. So so so so far from anything out there today.

Good church has the Presence of the Living God. And frankly, no one has a clue what He'll get up to next.

Good church somehow gets over the problem of cutting the Cord.

In Song of Solomon, the first time watchmen are mentioned, it's great. Like a good secondlevel church experience, they are there to feed and upbuild a believer. Next time they are mentioned, you're having your clothes ripped off you, being paraded around in the road for heaven's sake!!!

What's that about?

That's about cutting the cord! Or the other analogy some 3rd level teachers used (now the International Ministry Association or IMA, look them up on Wikipedia) is that of an eagle stirring up a nest of baby eagles.....Time to fly little ones!!! "But I like the nest!" "Sorry, but it's time to fly! Oh, did I just push you all out? How clumsy of me!!"

If this was just theory, well it would be a bit one-sided.

From 1978-84 in particular Emsworth church (near Portsmouth UK ) were experimenting how you run meetings in the Presence of God. Also how you train up young people in ministry. What we carried was a bit of the divine DNA about how you do meetings. How people are transformed from one level of glory to another by beholding the face of the Living God in meetings. Emsworth was pretty useless at the time on articulating growth in terms of the epistles, but in terms of hands on experience it was an incredible time.

In the last few years, Peter Stott and others in the church here in Havant (next door to Emsworth) have been pursuing a similar course under the title "Key of David " meetings. (More background here) This, and the fact that several locals were all present for some of the Lakeland Florida Outpouring last year (do a blog search on Florida Outpouring),

has actually meant huge changes to how we do even main meetings here. Perhaps our smaller size helps.

Finally, in thinking around this topic of Cutting the Cord...remember a relationship is a symbiotic union. Its 2 way. For good or for bad. Whether healthy or unhealthy.

2nd level churches are only successful because people willingly go there. They are defined by a leader or leadership team that require your submission to them. They usually require your money, in a very predetermined amount. And if you fulfil your side of the bargain, they will provide you with one, two or three hours godly entertainment and teaching, and maybe signs and wonders, in the case of those with outstanding anointing.

But never forget. You willingly gave yourself into this. It's not one way. Like an abusive relationship, the battered spouse is secretly and wondrously drawn to that powerful macho figure that beats her up.

So there is both a cutting of the cord from a healthy situation, just as a teenager gradually moves ever further out from his or her family home. And there is the cutting of the Cord from an abusive church situation that forever wants to keep you as pew fodder, digesting the same cycle of sermons, about things that have little or no revelation value, so as to make you grow supernaturally. Cutting this type of cord, has greater, more fearful repercussions, because you are pulling away from status quo land, where you may continue in great personal bondage for years, without you or others being aware....until you seek to make steps to following your Bridegroom more actively.

Life in Three Dimensions

I'm excited about this because I really believe it is another parable clue to explaining what I am on about. I really think this could be from the Lord Himself...because He always was brilliant at parables.

Parables I realised recently are God's way of flicking us over from left-brain "meter" or "law-based" thinking if you will, to a more comprehensive "picture" or "creative" way of thinking usually associated with the right brain.

I've covered this material briefly here. But again I want to say this. In the 90s when this right brain /leftbrain stuff came out it was such a release for us artist/musical/prophetic types that we made the mistake of relating the right-brain to our spirits. On this blog I have been careful not to do this.
Spirit is spirit. It is NOT material. Brain is brain. It IS material. It is the electrical mechanics behind our thinking. And mind....well...it's our soul, but like spirit you can never pinpoint it...though materialist thinkers (using materialist in its original philosophical meaning) think the electrical signals is all there is to us.

Electrical readings show us we use parts of our brain for different skills...sometimes on their own ,sometimes together. They also show that in a healthy person we have some sort of telephone exchange system between the two sides of our brain.

Dyslexia,dyspraxia (poor physical co-ordination) autism, synesthesia......all show up as different ways of processing.

I was listening to Frank Viola today who again referenced our Western tendency to Aristotelian thinking. Tony Fitzgerald used to call it "Greek thinking" as opposed to Biblical "Hebrew"thinking.

Proverbs is Hebrew thinking...where knowledge is one thing....but wisdom is quite another.
There's a proverb which illustrates the difference. It says somewhere "A proverb in the mouth of a fool is like a man who hasn't the use of his legs."

When we speak wisdom from our spirits IT HAS LEGS. ("That'll walk!!!") It comes out of our lives. Out of the core of our existence.

When an Anglican Bishop who is not even born again speaks the word "God", to a born again person it sounds like an empty sound; it often sounds like his mouth is full of a large potato when he mouths the word. It has no legs, so to cover the reality of the situation, his mouth seems to go into overdrive to make up for the deficiency.

So you can't say Left-brain bad, right-brain good....because you need both to function.

What you cannot do is live from your left-brain alone. And Proverbs 3:5 highlights way too much dependance on our reasoning powers and practically no "trusting" going on in our heart. This has some amazing repercussions. I have covered some already but in future posts I want to cover "how prophets think", I want to cover the mad way Brits and Americans do politics.... and the fundamental differences between how different character types
process information. Here's a nugget to get you going. I lived for a year in France and getting enrolled as a self-employed tuner in their system was something else!!!
I learned this truth: Bureacracy is inversely proportional to the amount of Truth manifest in a nation. You think France is bad...just go to Italy. What does that say about Catholicism???


So back to this post.
What is the Third Level?
It isn't what you think it is.
Traditional left-brain Greek mentality thinking imagines a series of 3 steps going higher and higher. So ofcourse this is offensive because if you claim to be "on the third-level" you are putting yourself above someone else.

Surprisingly and gob-smackingly it is none of this. In a moment I'll give the parable picture. But now I will give some examples.
Ursula describes in her School of Prophecy post being caught up to heaven. So there you are with the Director of all directors, the One who has knowledge of the end from the beginning. You must surely be in for some deep spiritual revelation to confound all others. This surely is a Third-level meeting. Well it confounds others all right. Jesus whirrs you round in His arms. Hugs you. Looks full in your face. Beams with love!!! That's the third-level. I'm so sorry to disappoint the theologians!

Now if this was a freak one-off occurrence you could put this down to Ursula not being quite up to the deep things of God ,so this was Jesus humouring her. But no....

When Roberts Liardon went as a young boy, he was pretty impressed, because Jesus played splash with him in the River of Life. You know deep stuff like that.

When Jesse Duplantis went he described a carbon copy of many of the things Ursula saw, but Jesus was really keen to show him the house he'd had built for him. Jesus had rigged him up with a quadrangle with a fountain, and loads of 17th century type furniture, because he knew Jesse loves that stuff. Jesse said, "I can see you Jesus. I can see the Father. Um...I thought there were three of You? Where's......."
Jesus just looked at him. Jesus grinned. Jesse felt a bit embarrassed. "Oh ofcourse, He is on Earth, preparing the Bride!!!! What a nana I am? How could anyone be so stupid?"

Back on Earth now in revival. And that's what the third level is....it's continuous revival. What do you find?
You find Evan Roberts face down on the podium around 1905 and 6. Only getting up to say something as directed. Quite often he said nothing. And he was the acknowledged leader of the meeting! This is third level!!!
Or you read of Mel Tari , 60 years later. Just going around with a load of friends, being led to do miracles. Without title.Without name. Just lifting up the Name of Jesus. Just loving Jesus with all your heart, soul and strength.Just enjoying the ride.
This is third level.

Third level is what John Stevens writes on his blog about thin places. The wall between the 3rd heaven and here on earth appears to be paper thin.

After Evan Roberts, the Pentecostal movement was born...then some pressed onward into Apostles and prophets, and the Apostolic movement was born. But really , it was like a retreat, back from 3rd level stuff into a more humanly comfortable 2nd level. They couldn't go back to the 1st level, because having tasted the heavenly gifts....well who would ever want to go back that far? But nevertheless....all the "man-directed" junk reappeared. The labels. ...the superintendents..... the heirarchies. And running meetings in the raw effusion of the order of Melchizedek... well the Presence of God wasn't enough anymore!

Here's another third-level truth.
On the way into the tabernacle there are no steps.
In Anglicanism there are steps. You start as a curate. You become a vicar. Then you become a Bishop. Your ermine gets thicker!!! Your penguin costumes get more and more elaborate. You'd better believe there are steps!!! Bishops and vicars have to then perform this mental juggling act between what is read out in the scriptures in a 2 yearly cycle or whatever....so everything that Jesus says about becoming a servant etc.....has to be mentally squared up with the way Anglicanism is run! No wonder some of them have breakdowns! One of my friends has recently de-vicared!!!
Because the tabernacle has no steps...they are forbidden..."lest they show the shame of man's weakness"....the 3rd level or Holy of Holies is on the same level as anything else in the Tabernacle!!!

Here's another 3rdlevellism!!!
Every single human on Earth was taken into the bosom of the Father at the Cross - in Jesus.
The problem is ignorance. People don't know that!!

Every single Christian was born again in the 3rd Level...the Holy of Holies....when Jesus ascended into the heavenlies right into the Holiest Place. This is made clear in Ephesians 1 and 2.

But the god of this world has blinded our eyes. Now some have escaped into level 1. They know Jesus has forgiven them their sins. Some have escaped into level 2 and now manifest the spiritual gifts, lead people to Jesus, and build networks of 2nd levellers. But Juan Carlos Ortiz prophesied that there would come a time when everybody would be born again in the third level, the Holy of Holies....here on earth. The New Covenant...when everyone would know the Lord from the least to the greatest.

And the foretaste of that was Florida last year!!! It wasn't just the Todd Bentley show. Nicholas and Pam were there. Peter Stott was there. Leaders from Southampton and Chichester were there. Basil De Souza came back so zapped...while he was preaching he looked at somebody in India and they were levitated to the ceiling in the glory, such was the Fire of God coming out from his eyes.
The doors of the 3rd level were ajar!!! It was the "Jesus in His worldwide Body" show as televised by God Channel!

But let me explain again what this blog is about.
Suppose the Father gives you a bike. And while enveloping you in His arms, you're sitting on the bike enjoying balancing. And each meeting He gets the bike out, and because He is there holding you very firmly, you are able to balance while the bike is stationary.

Well after several meetings would you not be saying to the Father..."I'm getting a bit frustrated, because you gave me this bike, and you are getting me on it every meeting...but when do I get to actually ride it myself and learn to balance on my own?"
"No. No son. This bike is only for Josh Mills meetings with the gold dust. It won't work out on the roads!!"

Well ofcourse that's silly. And that's the point of this blog. This blog is saying that 3rd level Christianity is precisely that. It's taking Christ in your form, as you...and living him out on the road. Learning to balance the bike yourself. And the glory of this Jesus life is that it works!!!
By faith. By His grace. Not of our own works. But it genuinely is Him living our life. And we activate it as we activate anything by stepping out on His Word. By believing in our heart and by confessing with our mouth. Like Dan who continually writes and says "Iam the righteousness of God in Christ!" Whew that's a powerful one!

But that's not the parable.

It's in answer to this question that has been buzzing in my mind for months."If this 3rd level thing has nothing to do with elitism...how on earth do I articulate that in left-brain words. How do I say I am exploring the 3rd level without it sounding really like I'm saying I am something special."
Well I believe this is one of those nuggets that Jesus has breathed Himself. It's like this.

Three dimensions.
Physicists say a single point is a singularity. Imagine an infinitely small dot having no height, no width and no breadth. Add one dimension. Width. So you can now go from point A to another point B on the horizon but only in one line. Better than being stationary isn't it? Are you superior because you are making for point B, though you haven't arrived? No. No more superior than a person simply getting on a train. It's just something you do.

But supposing the place you want to reach is way over to the left and nowhere near where the A to B train is going. Well you could always use a car. A car moves in 2 dimensions. You can turn left and right.
Are you more superior because you use a car? Well Jeremy Clarkson says you are. But in reality it is just another tool that gives us slightly greater flexibility. But we're not saying we've arrived.
We're on our way. But in 2 dimensions.
Supposing we want to mend the space station which keeps breaking down. We're going to have to move in 3 dimensions. A rocket or rocket plane.
Have we arrived? Are we superior? No it's just a tool which has more manoeverability to allow us to move in three dimensions. Up as well as across and straight ahead.
This dimension parable picture is brilliant for another reason. It shows how a person can be born again in the third level but still has to go through all the growth stages. Something I couldn't quite get my head round, though I knew from Florida last year was true. All we are saying is that a third level seed of three dimensional Divine Life has been placed into a believer's spirit. That seed is perfect. Can't be improved on. Contains everything within it that the believer will ever need...."the Fulness of the Godhead bodily dwells within My Lord...etc...and we are complete in Him." But the 3 dimensional seed still has to grow
OUT
IN THREE DIMENSIONS.
But at least it is 3 dimensional seed.... not one or 2 dimensional seed that we've been preaching for nearly 2000 years...and getting only one or two dimensional results!!!!........meanwhile, where was I?

Ah yes....So any talk of 3rd level as having arrived...well Paul just said...I press on to know the power of His resurrection that if at all possible I may attain to the resurrection of the dead...Phew...to even be thinking like that.
Mind you this was the man, who having been stoned,left for dead, was prayed for by the brethren, gets up, and without even a cup of tea says..."Right, next town then!!!" It always reminds me of the Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, who loses all his limbs and fights on.

All third level is , is simply the revelation you need to get you out of that meeting room, away from those praise CDs, away from the prayer closet, away from 24/7 one hour prayer sessions

to a place where you start growing up into the Head
Fulltime
leaving meetings behind
but when you later go into them you turn them on their head
because you are a 3rdleveller
you live there.
You don't go to meetings so they can bless you.
You go to meetings so you can take them by the scruff of the neck and head them off in a 3rdlevel direction, before anyone knows what you are doing!
3rd level subversion...like Jesus walking to the front of a meeting reading Isaiah 61 then saying Today this is fulfilled amongst you.
Meanwhile a rabbi looks up, raises his thick eyebrows and says "Aherm! I don't remember that last sentence. Come again?What was that?"

Part of third level life is winding people up. I love the fact that by calling this blog "On to the 3rd Level"...tons of people stuck in their left-brains are thinking of Greek step mentality and that I am setting myself up as a super saint who has achieved step 3...and therefore hate this blog...

when really Ephesians says all of us have been caught up into the heavenlies and we operate now from there. 1st and 2nd levellers read these chapters out because they have to......but 3rd levellers are the only ones who dare to say
because this is TRUE we run our meetings this way. Today this is fulfilled before your very eyes!!!
Another 3rd levellism is that our God is not
The God of Abraham and Isaac.
For years we have effectively preached that.
Our God is
The God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob.
This is the generation of Jacob...those who seek the face of the God of Jacob..Ps24
