Locating the Kingdom
Its easterliness
its northernliness
and its upness.
We specify the Kingdom in three dimensions also.
Passover. Personal salvation. The total geographical removal at spirit level from Darkness to Light. What John 3 records as being born again.
Pentecost
Repent, be baptised and be filled with the Spirit.
As soon as you are baptised in the Spirit you enter into the second dimension of the Kingdom which is "the power of God on behalf of others" or ministry.
The third dimension of the Kingdom is Tabernacles.
Tabernacles is pictured in the Old Covenant but now fully realised in the New Covenant.
The Start of the Old Covenant year as a people happens in the Tabernacles Feast and is called Day of Atonement,
In the new Covenant Feast it is continual and is called
"Walking in the Light as He is in the Light" I John 1
Tabernacles or Feast of the Booths itself represents
the mobilising of the Body of Christ to live in Covenant community. See Acts.
If your Christianity is just about personal forgiveness. It isnt specific geographically.
If your Christianity is just about power and ministry like Benny Hinn or Morris Cerullo , the Kingdom isnt specific geographically.
You need a gospel that is specified in three dimensions for the actual Kingdom to come to earth.

Ask Westminster Central Hall and their Catholic group that meet in the basement to help mums,
ask Salvation army activists on the streets...
ask lots of movers and shakers.....
and they all will reply that they are "doing".....that they are being three dimensional. Is this the three dimensional gospel?
NO. John 15 is much more subtle.

.God's revealed will -LOGOS was for the Israelites to go up to the Promised land.
At Kadesh Barnea the Rhema Word, the Now Word, was "Go up now".
Through fear at the reports of giants the people did not obey.
But there was but a window of opportunity.
When the time frame was refused, God announced the alternative. The whole of the first generaton would die in the wilderness.
At which point some of the people rebelled again, and tried to go up "in their own strength". They were killed by the enemy.

This is a snapshot for us. A very KEY part of the Bible.
As well as the positive announcement regarding the whole EARTH.....As Surely as I LIve, says the Lord....
Really, a bit like the other key events in the wilderness and on into the Land....
Namely sending Moses up alone to God while the people "played"
Namely later choosing a KING instead of God and His order, which is the Order of Melchizedek and prophetic Voices......
THE WORLD HAS ESSENTIALLY NOT MOVED ON FOR 3000-4000 YEARS.....
bUT WITH OUR LIPS WE PRAY THY KINGDOM COME , THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN...
But the Kingdom CANNOT COME
because the Kingdom is in 3 dimensions
not Billy Grahams one dimensional Kingdom,
not Morris Cerullo or Benny Hinn's twodimensional Kingdom.
Jesus Christ preached a three dimensional Kingdom which
moved people from
JOHN 3
through to WATER and BREAD chapters 4-7
through to FULNESS and UNION in chapters 14-17
So through fear we Kowtow to the principalities over the world
OR like Salvation Army activists, or Westminster Chapel Methodists and Catholics WE DO HELPS and ADMINISTRATIONS in our own strength.
ofcourse nobody can actually KNOW precisely what is
in man's strength and in the faith of God....or else we could pull down Catholic Churches or Methodist places....
but as Mother Teresa showed.....SHE DID THINGS out of UNION, out of the knowledge she was eating Christ and having Christ consciousness.
But things are not endlessly fuzzy and God's LIGHT and FIRE always comes, and that which is left standing is revealed as the Work of God.
But instead of this "MIXED KINGDOM" of a Kingdom field filled with good seed and the devil's weeds and thorns,
how great it would be to specify things in three dimensions from the outset.
THE ACTUAL KINGDOM OF GOD IS 3D.
BUT IT'S GOD'S 3D.
NOT METHODIST OR CATHOLIC 3D !!!!!
OR ISRAELITES REBELLING AGAINST GOD AND GOING UP TO THE LAND ANYWAY 3D.

Church in Transition
The young man stage is where we are building our new hearing mechanism. Faith comes in two stages, by hearing and hearing comes by access to the Word of God.First we have to have our inner hearing dug out. "You have dug out ears for.me"
It is where we are confessing what we see in the Bible is now true of us. Based on the victory that is already ours. "You have the victory".
This is called charismatic or Word.of.Faith church.
You have one single pastor still just like Catholicism, and evangelical beliefs.
It doesn't matter what we do in the first two levels of corporate faith, we can do no other anyway.
In the Holy Place even the shewbread is cut up in 12 bits because nobody can take the whole thing yet.
But in the thirdlevel everything matters.
Ephesians 4 is a good description of how thirdlevel church works, but by then you have many ministries under one roof with real Christ stuff. There is nothing in the Bible anywhere about one pastor. Only elders plural. When they went out on missions....even apostles.....they went out as twos minimum to demonstrate fellowship, how anointing works in the Trinity, and not the Zeus model of power we know in the world system.
In the thirdlevel we.are all about keying others into the Melchidisek order, hearing Christ for themselves, psalm 123, and learning Galatians 2.20 living.
The Father level which is Union, they who know /are fused with Him who is from the Beginning.
In a leftbrain culture, Brian Zahnd, Justin Abraham ,John Crowder stick out for " talking about mysticism"
But from the moment we pray to a God who is Spirit we are engaging outside what the leftbrain is familiar.with. So Gnostic and mystic..... can be good can be bad.....it depends on the Spirit we are.fellowshipping with.

Brian is quite similar to the London leaders in the 70s. In my opinion he knows what he is leaving. He was w hugely successful pastor of an American megachurch. But I am convinced he will express himself more directly the more he catches the thirdlevel message of Union.

Brokenness II
If you are used to the traditional stuff on brokenness you will find this continuation of the study quite shocking.
But what is it you are looking for? To be a grand master on the writings of Church Fathers who only got so far, or do you want the truth of God inside your very being?
Do you want to conform to all the seminaries, and consequently now all the Jesuit and esoteric and Kaballist groups that have stolen every Word of God previously written from out of the sanctuary, and then cobbled together great Luciferian treatise (s) on the difference between :
The Knowledge of Good and Evil
and
The Tree of Life?
Or do you want that simple walk in Jesus Christ spontaneously living your life in an authentic and unique way that is God "causing you to walk in the steps that He prepared beforehand"?
IN OTHER WORDS THE REAL THING?
Perhaps you should pause right there, because of John 7
17 If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
Put that the other way round. If you are reading this for any personal agenda. Material to preach from, to write books from, to earn tithes from. Some attemot at peering over the hedge of God's Kingdom, just as the Jesuits operate, then you shall not "get this" teaching.
Jesus says I am the Door. The thief enters round the back?
Where is round the back? It is in the leftbrain. The leftbrain tries to reason up to the life of God.
The doorway to God in you is in your spirit. The leftbrain is a thief. it does not want personal involvement with Christ, because it knows instinctively that it's entire "Control Bibble" will be ripped open and shown to be the total scam that it is.
There is no selfpowered soul, or selfpowered mind.
We live from Life itself, which is either now a derived life source, via our Adamic inheritance, of "fake independence" which is really the Satan spirit operating and masquerading as us....
OR we come fully into the LIGHT
the SINGLE AGAPE EYE of God and see He is the sole source of everything....
actually, theologically speaking of Satan's life too. Satan twists God's own empowering life round from being self for others, to a form that is self for self....but actually the power, the drive still comes from the sole Source of the Universe. (Take this more slowly here by reading Yes I Am by Norman Grubb)
I take issue with those of Facebook and in modern studies who claim the Old Covenant is not accurate.
Shellfish can still easily kill you.
And bacteria can still hide in the folds of the skin of the penis to bring about longterm damage in a male or their spouse, unless cleanliness is taken seriously. Circumcision was not only a sign, it was also a prevention.
If you know how the Holy Spirit moves in meetings of Christian believers you can see all the same hallmarks on all the scriptures we use. The same dealings with men and women. The same patterns in how the Holy Spirit introduces people to the ways and the character of God.
Yet many times on this blog I have pointed out how God has scratched His head to know how to present Spirit truth before a people was truly able to be caught up in the Spirit, as was made available after Jesus death , resurrection and pouring out the Holy Spirit as He had promised.
You have the Two Goats conundrum....now in the Spirit, there was only need for One Jesus....but this was the old Covenant
In Ezekiel 47 you have Ezekiel presenting the idea of the River of God's Spirit coming from the Throne of God in such a way as a "person brought up in separation" since Genesis 3 can understand it.
In actual Spirit fact the prophecy is nonsense, as is a lot of charismatic prophecy today.
THERE IS SIMPLY NOTHING ELSE THAN GOD'S RIVER. HE IS THE SOLE SOURCE OF LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!
THERE REALLY ISN'T....NOT IN SPIRIT TERMS.....SUCH A THING AS THE INDEPENDENT SELF IN GENESIS 3. THIS WAS A LIE FROM START UNTIL TODAY'S DATE....
this is why the gospel calls all men everywhere to repentance....
Not because God thinks it might be nice to have some friends and He is lonely....
It's because there is no such thing as secular life
there is no such thing as living independently as gods.....it just doesn't exist
and if anybody tries it....proverbs chapter 1 tells you what happens
Basically your life crashes !!!!!!
So YES.....there is an Old Covenant version of brokenness
which featured a real encounter between God/the Angel and Jacob wrestling until Dawn....
Or King David's experiences AFTER being anointed with oil as King in his youth....and yes I do connect with this man !!!!!!
Brokenness, like today to a certain extent, is God using real life experiences to form a godly character....
OR.....perhaps, like a wood sculptor to strip off the superfluous to leave the authentic creation as God always intended.
Watchman Nee was writing in transitional days, and he used the phrase an enlarged soul.
He said this to describe the way our soul life is now not only God going on....it is enlarged.
If we are going to use that picture we must imagine a "useless expansion" of quirky growth in the way that cancer cells utterly distort our bodies with tumerous outgrowths that end by killing us.
In this way, you would think of us taking up our Cross to see these "falsely enlarged bits of tumerous Adamic outgrowth die."
EXCEPT FOR THIS.
Brokenness in the New Covenant is something different.
Since before the Creation the Word always existed....long before Satan even rebelled, or was even created. The Word who became manifest in human form as Jesus Christ was always going to be the Cornerstone of the Temple, the Living Temple of God indwelt ones.
As we saw with Adam, it was always going to be a CHOICE to put on the Tree of Life,
to want to connect with God...
God has always wanted a Bride, a Counterpart like Himself, that chooses to give and receive love, to enter into Union with Himself.
Sin mightily "upped the ante" so that at one level we live in a precarious time space world where we don't know for sure that when "Christ returns He shall find faith in the Earth". The jeapardy is probably there precisely to avoid Calvinists and Preterists folding their arms, buying pina coladas and sitting on deckchairs waiting for God's bus to arrive.
We walk in godly fear. The Son of Man was heard for His godly fear, His cries of supplication, which always seems weird in first and secondlevel Christian situations....because thinking in terms of separation.....Jesus down here who is nevertheless Christ, and God up there....
It seems weird that God the Man in praying to God the Father....
But that is actually one of the ways we have to change our thinking about brokenness.
Ps 40
I waited [a]patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the [b]miry clay,
And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.
3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;
Many will see and fear
And will trust in the Lord.
Now we DO know Jesus as Saviour and Redeemer
But in Union like Jesus we now enter into something mindbendingly awesome, as is now being revealed in our natural sciences.....
THE QUANTUM WORLD
Brokenness is now a STATE. It is true we come in through the Blood of Jesus our Saviour, but He sweeps us up onto a Rock that is higher than I.
He sweeps us up to a totally new ontological reality. That of being a co LIVING STONE in His Temple, in His purposes.
Jesus crying out loud cries was this new reality we too have been put in.
Intercession.
Bringing things forth by the power of the Spirit.
How does it work????
Romans 8 shows us how it works.
26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; 27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the [j]saints according to the will of God.
During the time of the Cross "it appeared" that God had abandoned Jesus at the Cross.
Jesus cried out "My God why have you forsaken Me?"
Psalm 22 prophecies this experience.
In reality, that is in this true realm of Spirit.....GOD was instead INSIDE the forsakenness....RECONCILING THE WORLD TO HIMSELF.
THIS is intercession.
Jesus describes it to King David this way in Psalm 40
Sacrifice and meal offering You have not desired;
My ears You have [e]opened;
Burnt offering and sin offering You have not required.
7 Then I said, “Behold, I come;
In the scroll of the book it is [f]written of me.
8 I delight to do Your will, O my God;
Your Law is within my heart.”
The author to the Hebrews seems to quote from an earlier text than the Masoretic text and quotes all this
“Sacrifice and offering You have not desired,
But a body You have prepared for Me;
6 In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have taken no pleasure.
7 “Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come
(In the scroll of the book it is written of Me)
To do Your will, O God.’”
But a body You have prepared for Me;

8 After saying above, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have not desired, nor have You taken pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the Law), 9 then He [d]said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second.
St Paul writes in the same fashion in Romans 12. 1-2
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, [a]acceptable to God, which is your [b]spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this [c]world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may [d]prove what the will of God is, that which is good and [e]acceptable and perfect.
Why therefore???
on account of all the other tremendous teachings f Romans 1 to 11 being so already....these are the "mercies" the "grace tools" that make everything in Romans 12: 1-2 work.
Back to Romans 8
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, [i]in hope 21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. 24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
So yes Jesus was making loud groaning noises, as a Son....
To enter into Union with God is to enter immediately into the operations He is performing right now...
revealed by the Spirit.....sometimes initially just groans too deep for words, very similar to a woman in labour.
Hod has desired BODIES to bring forth His Word
His purposes and plans.
This is the subtle difference between the "orphan idea" of worship
the orphan idea of brokenness
and the LIVING THING that Jesus was engaged in when He lived His life here, and that He now catches up His whole Body in by the Spirit to complete His work of raising a mature man.
Like the key phrase in Ephesians 4 which says....when each part is working properly....
the "brokenness" of Romans 12 and a yielded life has more to do with our knowledge of the mercies of God...if we don't know what God has done we can mope and groan and grouse and grovel as much as we like....this isn't brokenness...this is religion...this is orphanhood.
The REAL THING is where people have been enlightened according to these sorts of phrases in Ephesians 1
15 For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and [u]your love for all the [v]saints, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers;17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the [w]knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart [x]may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the [y]saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
We can only RISK giving our bodies to God to manifest through when we have experienced some sessions of Him coming through us...
maybe in times of need
maybe in the baptism in the Spirit
maybe in our church life together...
then also based on what we know inwardly and what has been revealed to our inner eyes...
then we are going to feel like taking more of a risk...because we see inwardly it isn't a risk......
But it is these sort of "Freefallers" that God is looking for Romans 12.1-2 who will PROVE what the will of God is....Namely to bring forth His Kingdom His Word made manifest through physical forms...you and me...the church...
so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

The flower is perhaps a better representation of our brokenness...
it is totally intact now
it may or may not be weak, but there is nothing in it that shouldn't be there
just as it is it is manifesting the glory of God
it is not being religious and pinning a christian badge to it
it is not trying to "do anything " Christian
It is living exactly as it was meant and purposed
But we are in another reality...we are in the Temple of the Lord.
We are the Body of the Living Christ on earth.
Now as Paul says in Corinthians
I can't address you as mature...one says he is of Peter, one of Apollos and one of Paul
Also (Chapter 12) what you are doing is just sticking together in cliques
if someone is an eye they are saying to the leg, because you are not an eye I have no need of you.
This is the state of the immature church. In reality all churches, because there are no churches on earth yet that have Father level people as groups of elders flowing together in this "brokenness"...or "Christ cornerstone Life " that I have described. There are ones and twos who move individually as did Ed Miller, Corrie Ten Boom, Pastor Wurmbrand...but not inside local churches in geographical areas and recognised as such by local communities.
We only have zero, first and secondlevellers who are caught up in their "LEG" groups or "Arm groups " or "Eye groups".
FINALLYto summarise and bash the nail further in.
Because Genesis 3 was always a lie.
Because there really only ever was one source of life in the Universe.
Because UNITY is a fact, as real in our bodies own homeostasis, as it is actually in the Body Of Christ
Because there is only one faith one Lord one baptism...
Because we see with a single eye God going on in His Universe to bring about the completion of all His plans through His Son...
I will flow with every other person walking in this "brokenness"
or Just Christ as me ness....no more no less....no additions no subtractions to whatever Jesus Christ is doing in us and through us now.
Now we had an introduction to this in Spirit led meetings.
As we have received Jesus we were to walk in Him....and the first ways we did this was practicing "gathering in His Name" in meetings...
and we have to guard this Unity of the Spirit UNTIL we come into the unity of the faith.
But you can't come into total unity while each individual has squinty eyes
or not a single eye (in internal terms)
David said
OK Lord...I'll tell you what....UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR THE LORD. PSALM 86.11
We have whole churches of squinty eyed people whose inner eyes are focussed all over the place....there is no way we can even get one united church having the shambolic level of Light we have been operating in so far.
In Revelation 12 it says about the true church....a woman with a face shining like the sun, with the moon under her feet.
At the moment thirdlevel living is unknown
every single church member across the face of the whole earth still thinks "separation existence is a valid way to live and operate"....and that living this MOON or "reflected" way of life, where we never actually fuse with God the Father properly....and take on His SUN Life...His Original direct Source Life flow....
continuing in this fashion makes "Jesus is coming soon " a laughing stock.
The devil hears our words but sees our MOON Masques like some Anonymous Venetian Ball....
What He is scared of is being chased off the Earth by a woman with the Face as the Sun.

The Quantum Cry
I am not a special guy. If you could see me now there are a whole string of ways I am needing God right now. Like a dam things are building up on my insides....because nothing really changes until things change in the Spirit.
All I can tell you is I was born into an incredible situation. OK not aristocracy. But because both my parents were physics teachers at a time when teachers were paid well, and at a time when it was not at all normal for women to go out to work....we were well off.
Maybe having material needs met, and the awesome privilege of being in one of the last FREE Grammar schools in the UK that regularly pushes its people into the top universities, while all the rest of such schools are feepaying....
Maybe for this reason, with all outer bases covered,....I began really noticing inner emptiness.
I had thought Christianity was true but methodism had well instructed me that none of it was true, so by 12, having over achieved at school, I became a nihilist, an atheist.
And I plummeted.
Stephen Fry talks about his Black Dog and depression.
I was so depressed. I never did quite as well at school. I couldn't honestly see the point. Just getting a job, to have a house and wife, and then die seemed utterly utterly pointless.
BUT I AM AT LAST REALISING THAT GOD MEANT ME TO FEEL DESPAIR. HOPELESSNESS. TO ENGENDER A DEEP SUBTERRANEAN CRY.....
I am not a special person. I am really ordinary. I like sex. I like food.
I like seeing new things......I like having money to spend...(what was that?) I am not specially spiritual. Yes, I am like lots of artistic creative guys...tend to see stuff from the inside out...but probably around a quarter of the population are like this.
But for some reason....in a set up that Frank Viola identifies as the
CRY OF LONELINESS in ADAM or
THE CRY FOR DELIVERANCE of the Israelites in Egypt...
God set up my circumstances early
to answer my desperate desperate 12 year old heart...
and POWER ME EARLY into the Jeremiah 31 experience of the New Covenant....of KNOWING HIM....
not knowing theology
not knowing theories
knowing GOD HIMSELF from my insides....
so that from 12 onwards at least I have walked my 1 John 2 external life in tandem with my internal life.
Now Jesus managed to do this without sin....and as we crash more and more into His life...by our failure....HIS OWN LIFE IS THE SAME AS OUR LIFE....IT IS JESUS CHRIST LIVING AS A CHRIS WELCH, OR WHOEVER.....
But still
But still..... for Jesus as for any human vessel of God's Life...
our human experience is the same....
We feel like we are running short....
Our externals seem to get a bit tight....
Don't think this was any different for the Son of God....He was born that way.....in very tight externals....a manger....no room at the inn.
When Jesus looked up to heaven in exasperation several times in the gospels and said..... "How long must I be with this generation of unbelief????" Don't make light of this....
This is life not being how you think it should be....and if you listen in the Spirit you can hear the intensity Jesus felt this....
It was God again inside Jesus Christ being the intercession for MORE of HIMSELF on EARTH.....
GOD CHANGE THIS!!!!!!
Later Jesus vocalised this as....
"You have no idea how constrained I am to want to send fire to the earth" Now a carnal thinking evangelical interprets this as....
Boy...how much I am looking forward to send the fire of God down and consume people in fiery judgment!!!!
But as with all things....be it rebuilding the Temple in 3 days
or a "greater than Solomon, or Abraham or David" is here....
Jesus was speaking on a Spirit level here.
He was always about His Father's business which is to have a God Dwelling Place on earth....
not bricks , but humans....
so the word fire here relates to spiritual fire
the fire that judges and rids us of the Adamic inheritance
the purging fire of God
the altar of incense in the HolyPlace just before the Holiest Place.
The Baptism of the Spirit and Fire always had to do with the end goal.....

a Mature Man
a flesh and blood embodiment of the Mercy Seat with the three forms of Word inside, overshadowed by Shekinah glory.....
So the Driver.....be it the intense loneliness of Adam for a mate, which was only so we could also feel God's intense yearning for a mate.....
So the Driver for deliverance, which was the intense cry of the Israelites in a negative Egyptian situation....
so the Driver....for a vast harvest white with golden grain...is the need for evangelism, of a mankind looking for answers....which leads us to cry to the Father.....send forth ministries PLEEEEEASE, dynamite out ministries (is what the Greek actually means)...
Yes the Driver for all these things is the external pinch of things being too tight to mention....

So yes I am very ordinary...but by setting up my circumstances God had already anointed me by 13, with friends we had run groups of Christians by our teens, i was being headhunted to run the Christian Union at Exeter after my first year there....
my worship songs and music were being used....
i was already into what would be the equivalent of David's adultery crisises at age 20.... only to be followed by Kevin Prosch, Mark Stibbe, countless Morris Cerullo related power ministries....
and Ian McCulloch (below) prays for me in this condition in Emsworth in 1978, not really having a clue what the Spirit was praying through him. "Lord, do a quick work in Chris "....
Well the quick 9 year work, neither looked outwardly quick...
nor looked like a "work"....
but anybody defining King David's life at the time wouldn't have described it as that spiritual either....divided into 3 horrible classes of crisis....AND ALL LONG AFTER THE ONE THING THE WORLD KNOW HIM FOR...KILLING GOLIATH....
1. Saul chasing after him with his entire army
2. David sleeping with a man's wife and sending him off to the frontline to murder him
3. David being chased around by his own son Absalom
None of that looked in anyway promising....
So as things unfolded for me...none of it even registered on Ian McCulloch's scale of reference, to even know if his prayer had been answered. He may have been renewed by the Spirit, but Ian's entire life experience had been the son of a Brethren missionary, only to become a Brethren missionary to Argentina himself.
Like Terry Virgo, Bryn Jones, Gerald Coates, john Noble, Barney Coombs, and now selfconfessed to by David Tomlinson writing so effectively as he did in his own biographical "The Post Evangelical"
none of us.....and I say that as a teenager that also used to pray for people to be converted and baptised i the Spirit....
none of our generation in God even knew there were three stages of growth in 1 John 2. We thought 1 John 2 was purely about the three natural human growth phases.
So even when Ian McCulloch summoned all the church elders to "call me to order" in Emsworth church....these things are always secret affairs....(not to embarrass the people concerned)
even when stating the date I had to "repent" by
and even when I supernaturally appeared to the minute some 60-90 minutes into the service to silently "take " my judgment....
to be given over to Satan.....
as Brethren based people like doing after the pattern of Paul....
all so strict and tight and to the book....first address someone singly, then take some elders, then address the whole church......
as this all unfolded in a charismatic church setting, there was nothing in Ian McCulloch's experience thus far that could have ever prepared him for what was happening in front of him....

Their generation has some faint inkling about Romans 6 to 8, but they never lingered long in these scriptures...only the 8th chapter like any good charismatic....

then they always stopped at the Holy place....they had no clue beyond the candlestick....
so there Ian was....
staring at one of the first of a pioneer breed of thirdlevellers in the UK....but Ian ofcourse didn't ...couldn't know what he was looking at....
Yet God had framed his life perfectly thus far to be the man to raise such a church in the UK to pioneer what a real church is....
a church that actually obeys Ephesians 4 and 1 Corinthians 12-14 when it gathers.
But a bit like Moses and the promised Land....God said to Ian....
Thus far and no further.
This is even more ironic when you consider that it was Ian McCulloch who had felt called to lock himself away in a caravan to seek God for was it one month????40 days???
Anyway Ian began as a result to minister on GLORY.....a subject unheard of up to this point, to describe anything here on earth before Jesus comes back or we die.
Since 1984 it has become commonplace to hold "Glory Conferences".....but surely Emsworth 1984 conference must count as one of the first in a CHURCH VISION setting!!!!

All I can tell you is I was born into an incredible situation. OK not aristocracy. But because both my parents were physics teachers at a time when teachers were paid well, and at a time when it was not at all normal for women to go out to work....we were well off.
Maybe having material needs met, and the awesome privilege of being in one of the last FREE Grammar schools in the UK that regularly pushes its people into the top universities, while all the rest of such schools are feepaying....
Maybe for this reason, with all outer bases covered,....I began really noticing inner emptiness.
I had thought Christianity was true but methodism had well instructed me that none of it was true, so by 12, having over achieved at school, I became a nihilist, an atheist.

Third Level Musings, sociologically,spiritually,politically

I'll give you Late development and Midlife Crisis !!!
We are grateful for those psychologists and researchers who have mapped out some of the phases humans pass through, and even in the last twenty years it has been a shock just how big the transitions are physically and mentally in teenagers. I always thought something was going on!!! This was so massive for.me, coupled.with school performance factors, and the general Holocaust and atomic malaise.we were brought up in, it led me to find Christ.

But I have always felt there were gaps in what we knew. For.example why boys are "late developers". They aren't of course. This is something else that hasn't been mapped.out properly yet. A bit like mid twentieth century know it all's declaring the appendix useless just because science hadn't caught up.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made ps.139 and.just as many adjustments still need to be made to assessing how.we.develop differently male.and.female, so too the restrictions of.secular thinking have to be cast aside.as.we come to the issues of.spiritual.development , and what is really happening in that hush hush area of.the male midlife.crisis. When a cog fails to fit in a particular mechanistic system......and routinely and universally so......it's not the time to.change the cog forever......it's the time to change the whole mechanistic system. e.g.. that boys develop late. Or that men go stupid about 40. And there have been similar historic blandishments made by men about women.
There are.mysteries here psalm 139 says that need digging. Not just researching about the womb, which is on going, and finally.will.result in abortion being totally abolished. "What were we thinking?" As the Illuminati and Masonic plan to cull populations is revealed, together with their pincer drive to sexualize people as soon as they possibly could, and long before anybody had the vaguest notions of.parenting .
No .....men and women continue to "make themselves" , be fearfully and wonderfully made for.all their human life.....and this largely reflexively without any external programme, since there is so precious little knowledge still as to what a human is. The nearest Prieure de Sion Royal Society science can get to is slightly more.developed animals, so you can see the drivers of our.societies haven't a clue what to.do to.foster growth, once human males can put a penis in a vagina. There simply is precious little learning as to what the final 50 to80 years are all about. Yet the truth is declared, we are.fearfully and.wonderfully made.

The time of the True Isaac
Have you ever been a big fish in your own small pond and then a small fish from an ocean somes along and completely wipes the floor with you?
