Covenant in Process.....

Joan Reilly wrote this week

My son, Patrick is home from the hospital and out of danger of losing his life. I'm thanking God that I/we still have him to be the blessing in my/our life/lives that he is. Thank all of you who prayed for him from the bottom of my heart.

Covenant in Process....All In Christ the Head

I don't think he will mind me sharing this, but back in February and March Patrick was inspired to lose weight and began a diet of just juicing with vegetables and some fruits. He had done quite a lot of research on the subject of juicing and felt this was a healthy way to lose weight and get into better shape. He was very faithful in his endeavor and he stuck with just juice for over forty days. At this same time, he quit smoking and was on his way to the healthiest he's been in his nearly 38 years. He lost 40 pounds and looked and felt great. He told us he had never felt so energetic, alert and fit. He slowly began adding (mostly) healthy food back into his diet and kept pretty much on the straight and narrow.

About three weeks ago, he began feeling terrible. Gradually, daily he began to decline. I being the over- mother that I am, began urging him to see his doctor. You know how mothers are. He would say "I'll be alright" as we all so often think we are. My dear friends and ministry partners, Rich and Linda and I pray together most every night. This has been our practice for over two years. Of course we've been praying for Patrick recently because he wasn't feeling well. As the days progressed it became apparent to me that he was in trouble. When I mentioned this to Rich and Linda they kept urging me to see to it that he gets checked out. I said, Patrick something drastic is happening to you. I treaded lightly because I didn't want to overstep but I was worried...very worried but didn't know what more to say. Finally, Linda said just tell him to please "do it for me" which was exactly the key words that moved my sweet son to get checked out. You see, my son would do anything for me. The next day we went to the emergency room where tests were run as we waited nine hours for him to be admitted. It was discovered that his kidneys had failed completely. He began being treated immediately. He was hospitalized for nine days where many more tests were performed and where he had five dialysis treatments. He had excellent medical care. After all was said and done, the doctors told my son that had he waited a day or two more, he would not have made it. The toxins, fluids and poisons in his blood would have overtaken his body beyond the point of no return.

Here's my point in writing other than to thank you for your wonderful prayers and to publicly thank God for my son.
I thank God for using Linda to speak those words of urgency which I repeated verbatim. I attribute God using Linda to sustain and even save the life of my son.

I thank God for His idea of putting Rich, Linda and me together in a covenant by his very own hand. This is the not forsaking the assembling together, having no need and all things in common. This is what we call Church. I believe I have my son because of His Church! God bless you all.

As I write this, my precious friend, Linda is undergoing her first dialysis. I and her other covenant partner, her wonderful husband continue to lift her up to the Lord to sustain and even save her life. Praise His wonderful Name.

Heidi Marshall Oh Joan, this is such a heartfelt testimony to our Lord Jesus.
I am so blessed to have been able to share a part and have been touched by your tiny church so deeply in my own life too.
God gave us mothers that instinct that so drives our kids nuts! Yet, we cannot help it, it's a real as our hearts that beat. I thank God that you still have your son. I thank God that Rich "IN" Christ! Church saved my life.
I thank God that Linda is finally on dialysis too and the water weight is leaving her body along with all the toxins and poisons.
I thank God for the 'no condemnation' message that I received from The Lord using Rich, Linda & yourself. It is that message that finally has me walking in step with The Real Gospel and feeling and receiving the true Grace of God.
I pray and dream of the day we can all meet and worship together ... it is a very deep longing I have in my soul.
Sometimes the paths you walk seem barren, as though nobody is listening to Rich, yourself and Linda, yet someone is. A small nobody here in England, for some crazy reason, only He knows, I didn't commit suicide because of your tiny church across the Atlantic.
Size, distance & time are nothing to God.
You, my dear sister, are one of my most beautiful blessings, yet I have never heard your voice.
I love you

Joan Reilly Oh Heidi, you have no idea how this blesses my heart. Since we've known you we have been so encouraged by your own testimony. How I can identify with you how God used Rich Novek to save my life too. That's why I wanted to to be part of his ministry. It has become my life's calling to see others "hear" the true Gospel as God reveals it through Rich. I'm so glad you have shared your heart as you confirm that God put me here for a reason and if I never received another testimony such as yours, this is more than enough to fulfill His faithfulness in my heart. I know for a fact that Rich and Linda feel exactly the same way. God bless you my friend. Yes, we will meet at some point and won't it be glorious! Love you dear friend!

Rich Novek Wow, Joanie you once asked me, "Rich, if I am the only one who ever receives what it is you are saying, will that be enough?"

And all I could think about at that time was all the broken dreams and lost opportunities, all the years of being thrown up on God's shelf and passed over, the years of not seeing my 5 kids, the struggle with all the addictions that are common to men, the 11 years of striving for the 4 college degrees that I would never use, and the 20 miserable years I spent behind the wheel of a truck longing for the REAL God of ALL Grace one minute and hating Him the next! And on top of all of it, watching all that I thought He promised me come to nothing over a period of 30 plus years. And that doesn't include my illnesses and injuries that devastated me physically and financially over the past 10 plus years, or all that Linda has gone through as we watched God pull us butt first through the eye of the needle!

If I remember right my answer at that time was "I don't know." But after reading this dialogue between you and Heidi and knowing who both of you beautiful ladies are as I do, I would NOW have to say a resounding "YES" to that same question if you were to ask me today! And the reason why? Without you here there would be no book that Heidi could have reached for on that day! And without you, who God has used to save me and Linda IN more ways than we can imagine, this message of FREEDOM would not have had the chance to end up IN England for precious Heidi and her daughter!

God said IN Zechariah He searched for just One to stand IN the gap, and there is not one person on this planet that could ever convince me that One was not Christ IN the Joan Reilly form, and that because of the revelation of Christ as her IN her weakness, is the most selfless, loving, and giving person I have EVER known!

And YES Heidi, mark my words, we will see you face to face at some point and what a day of rejoicing that will be!

Covenant, Unity and Nehemiah 8

Nettle Fettucine -Absolutely nothing to do with this post!!!
Just  that in the background, while writing it through the day
I have been doing things like making handmade pasta and
I came across this recipe for nettle fettucine
Picture from this recipe post
This post is a copy of a letter today to friends who were/are a part of a Facebook thread.

Friends
One of the greatest things about Jesus is He is real.
But another thing about Jesus is He doesn't impose.

Nancy will know this, but to our generation schooled on church life, the thought that you can actually "go outside" church AND STILL SURVIVE is soooooo major!
Like the old Middle Age maps with "Beyond here there be dragons" we were all taught that no Christian can survive without fellowship...that we are absolutely sure of going off the rails if we left the "covering " of the church.
Man....this was real for us....

until we came to our Chapter 5 of Song of Solomon point where the watchmen that had been so nice and friendly before....start ripping at our Shulammite dresses and leaving us more or less starkers in the town square.

And guess what? A lot of us have been out of church for years. And we're still breathing. Many of us have actually grown more and faster than at any other point of our Christian life. But only because we found the same foundation for living that St Paul did in Arabia.....errrr presumably while learning how to knit marquees for a living!!!

Only perhaps not all have the same foundation quite...only you can answer that one.
You see it's not only grabbing Christ as you in your form...
St Paul also at least twice we know of, and maybe quite often besides...had experiences with the Living Jesus as He is NOW in the heavenlies.

What I like about Daniel Yordy's writing and really what I was trying to capture in the Hindhead Tunnel post is that we are tunneling at both ends simultaneously. John 17 is real NOW. I am in God and God is in me. I am in His Kingdom and the Kingdom is in me.
As the old song from Pentecostalism said
the fulness of the Godhead dwells bodily in My Lord and I am complete in Him.

When we say like the disciples....the Kingdom of heaven is at hand...we mean it.
The throne of God expresses itself through me, and yet simultaneously I am in the Throne of God in Jesus in the heavenlies.
My life is hid with Christ in God.

As long as our believing is active....and really for that read...as long as we are saying to God inwardly like Mary....Be it unto me according to your Word....and
allowing for the faith of the Son of God to do His stuff live and active inside of us...

This One Person is doing more or less the same stuff simultaneously through all of us here....yet marvellously in its individuality and context of each of our unique parts to play in this life and in the one to come. Quite how that can be so....is simply amazing.

So here is the great truth that God wants to share in the square in Nehemiah 8.

Nehemiah is already the return from Babylon, and people came in waves.

Why is so much of the gospel to do with "return"?
In returning and rest shall you be saved. In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.
Ok so what if we blow it?
In returning and rest shall you be saved etc......

Getting the picture?
It's more than a "built in" tag on to salvation.

From Adam being called for in the garden...."hey Adam....where are you you?" and being coaxed out of hiding, and having his figleaves removed, and being clothed instead with skins of an animal who had given its life....

right through every return procedure down the ages.

Naaman's cure for leprosy was ALL ABOUT RETURN....returning 7 times into the Jordan....and for 6 of them NOTHING OUTWARDLY changed.

What does that tell you about God manifesting in sons?
Something like there are 7 distinct stages to sorting us out and 6 of them are completely unseen!!!! And the devil leverages the unseen-ness to tell us "see, this gospel never does anything at all"

But another thing returning is about is willingness. A voluntary selfgiving....WHEN WE WANT. Romans 12 1-2 comes at the end of a mighty mighty exchange. If we are not sure of the product benefits, then we don't lay our lives down....simple as that.
It's a FREEWILL OFFERING in Psalm 110. God is not interested in anything else.

So If Nehemiah 1 to 7 is about returning, and each returning is connected with God erecting Gates and Walls that all have specific names...
Gathering in chapter 8 in the central square is about the finished work that God has done so far....

And it's so goood...ofcourse we gather and cut Covenant with the Word together.

What was Adam and Eve's feelings about returning before God called out for Adam?
Hiding away, plastered with figleaves.
None of us can believe honestly ahead of time in the plans of God. We are all like the man that buried his talent for fear that his master was a "hard master"...."demanding stuff with interest".

We'd prefer to bury everything in the ground and at least we'll be able to offer that.
God believes in returns with interest so much...instead of making too much of the resurrection, He calls His Son home to transplant the same resurrection into thousands of us.

I'm rambling...but this really is the background to what I want to say about unity.

For four years we have scattered seed on the net, and there has been fruit, and people have caught hold of new stuff they have never heard before. But have you also noticed there are some humongous divisions of belief, schisms and cliques?
Have you also noticed that screes of writing later there still are the same groups and separate forums and belief systems.

Here is something wonderful.
Jesus said
where two or three gather in My Name there am I in their midst.

Those two or three cease to be any human forum
any club
any belief system

they are a group visited instead by the One Lord Jesus Christ.

And when even larger groups gather, if they too are serious about God, this same Jesus Christ is among them....but by now we have more like 12 tribes worth of people represented. And each group type/interest type/personality type can begin to see themselves mirrored properly in Jesus Christ
BUT IN RELATION TO EVERY OTHER TRIBE
who is also so mirrored.

So unlike Facebook where Ken Dahl can hold court over a particular set of preterist beliefs for literally years on end, and never really be challenged.....OK people like me attempt it....but all he hears is "just another idea"

but in the collective gathering of the saints, all mirroring Jesus correctly, this Jesus who comes in Person to join the gathering...

Ken Dahl's lesser theories
Darin Hufford's lesser theories
Chris Welch's lesser theories
Nancy Gilmore's lesser theories
etc etc

all vanish like mist before the actual Presence of the Living God.
How fast?
Ooooh, unlike on the net, where it all goes on for years and years, and offline on high streets it goes on for 100s of years unchallenged...
but in the Presence of the actual Jesus Christ
I would say ...approximately 20 minutes...that's all.

Pianos go on for years with strings that slacken approximately up to 3 or 4 semitones, beyond which they rarely fall.
And there they sit for decades possibly in houses or old halls.

Until a tuner comes.
The most it ever takes is 90 minutes....usually 45-50.

Are any of you hearing in the Spirit what I am saying about the prophetic significance of Nehemiah 8? The gathering in the square. Cutting covenant.
But it's based on proper GATES and WALLS.
And one of which is the INSPECTION GATE.

Spirit discernment IS IN THE BODY.
Spirit discernment is in your spirit.
Jesus in you knows what isn't Jesus in you.

A priesthood learning what the Melchizedek order is. Schooled and trained in Psalm 123 , looking unto the smallest move of the eyes of the Master, as a servant does....knows now what a SINGLE EYE IS.
Knows what is God going on.
Has trained their senses according to righteousness.

Can you think of anything more sinister than an inspection Gate patrolled by Nazis, or Russian Communists, or worse still Ofsted Inspectors? Supposing Job's friends were in the Inspection Gate? They tried to be. We have 35 odd chapters of their inspecting.
Third Level Gatherings are not like that. Why? Because Truth just isn't the hazy thing that Lucifer has been teaching the world it is. But at the Good end of his Tree...it isn't a black and white leftbrain construction of Good either. That also is the devil. But that's another post.
Here's the fantastic thing about piano tuning and also about the Body of Christ...and natural bodies. There's no hazy truth.

  • A piano is perfectly in tune when you can play in all 12 keys equally. Strings are in tune when the sympathy between the strings has additional force. The sum is greater than the parts!!!
  • The Body of Christ is in tune when it can hear /see the Melchizedek order and act in alignment.
  • A natural body has a complete homeostatic system to regulate every single aspect of right functioning.
The Holy Spirit in believers is the same.

In the Old Testament, the big difference is the people were addressed by one man in Chapter 8....Ezra the scribe.

Now, God is teaching His Body to move as One. Guess certain ones will lead as God indicates, and present their twopennarth....but really by now it should be the whole Body knowing how to plug into the frequency of the Melchizedek Order.
"Doing only what they see the Father doing".

There are two trainings.
1/ Walking daily Christ as us
2/ In gatherings as everyone is moved by the Spirit in particular

So hang onto your seatbelts!
Just as a piano can sit for years until a tuner with the right equipment comes along and in minutes does what nobody else has done for decades....

So the Spirit is well able to achieve in terms of unity when the right equipment and systems are in place....what pastors and wrong structures operating in fleshly wisdom have been unable to accomplish for two thousand years.

Facebook or No Facebook

Half-built Tower

I am grateful for the exposure that both blogging and Facebook have given me. The process began with the writer of the next blogpost in 2008, when I used to comment along with other , now facebook friends, in his comments section.

In 5 short years I have brushed up against all sorts of folk from all areas of Christendom which has given me tremendous pastoral insight, usually aquired painfully over decades, of the sort of differing trends of belief that are at large currently all over the earth. Obviously some of these differences are taught with posh sounding names in seminaries, but nothing can really compare with talking with those who hold these many strands of believing.

At least some of St Paul's missions experience was speaking in a teaching forum for 18months or so, and for me this has been very similar. The advantage of  Facebook has been to get down to some of these brass tacks of inner believing, whereas you would have to be going some in the real world where most people are far more coy in opening up about such deeply held things.

Now recently several people who I have been walking closely (continual exchanges) or at a distance (infrequent exchanges) with, have simply upped, turned their heel and in the worst cases completely defriended me. Humanly some things have been my own foolishness, and other things have occurred through  me holding truths I believe are unpopular. They may only turn out to be "shades of truth"...that is true to a certain limited extent only....but sometimes these things have to be said in order that later they don't prove to be wholly true, and by then it is often too late.

REAL WORLD EXAMPLE in the last few weeks
I have been working alongside and under a South African who started to have unpleasant brushes with other colleagues. I was alerted to this some 6 weeks before things came to a very unpleasant head, which resulted in his sacking. I wanted to alert someone high up to avert this disaster, both for colleagues, but also the man's sake....I had started sharing about this very blog with him and his wife. My lowly position with this firm means there was no real outlet for me to act on my insight. Then the inevitable occurred and it was far worse than it should have been.

I don't believe I am always right. I don't believe I am always wholly right....but picking up directions that we could be heading in. I believe "directions" can be headed off at the pass if flagged up soon enough.

Really from the moment that Living Word issues forth a clock starts ticking in the earth.

I could also still have real problems in "how I share", coming from previous deepseated hurts that still have to properly come under the blood of Christ. But I feel, like Paul, when he moved on from forum teaching, and also coming to an end of patience with sharing with his own people the Jews, giving himself to Gentiles....that a fresh direction has now come for me. I absolutely have no clue whether leaving Facebook is permanent, but certainly I do find FACEBOOK and social media...in fact...let's go further and state books as well, as something of a NEW CART....(reference King David arranging a New Cart to carry the Ark of God's Presence in 2 Samuel 6, 1 Chronicles 13,).

There are those who are READY for the teaching of God. John 7: 17 If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.
The teaching comes when the pupil is ready (Buddhist precept). A person has cried out in his heart to know some truth, and God hears and supplies....by any of the above means...blog/social networking/reading in a magazine or book....

But really WORD comes in a covenantal context. You see WORD pins you down covenantally. If you HEAR properly you are saying AMEN...be it unto me according to your Word. Bind the festal sacrifice to the altar.... ME.....and you Holy Spirit fulfil that in me.

Really from the moment that Living Word issues forth a clock starts ticking in the earth.
You either HEAR and accept....what begins as sweet to taste in the mouth, like honey.....but then is exceedingly bitter in your stomach as the Holy Spirit WORKS that transformation on your insides...piercing to the division of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4)

OR you don't carry it through
and you become yet another LIAR in the earth
one who declares God to be a liar, by half building a tower only.

Our experience so far, which I was convinced was the beginning of a new thirdlevel church in the earth, a new pattern, has indeed turned out to be a NEW CART stumbling at the first bump. It is not the proper Covenantal framework by which the Word can be brought forth.

That one Divinely recognised form, outside of the usual vicissitudes of life, which is also a womb for the Word....see some of the negatives listed in Matthew5....is the CHURCH. Expressed in the local Body of Christ. The Woman that encompasses the Manchild in Revelation 12.

The LOCAL church has to be specifically Christ in us the hope of Glory...Galations 2:20 It is nolonger I who live but Christ.....we are new creations entirely by virtue of Christ's work

But I realise now Jorge Pradas's word to our little church at Emsworth holds true...
WE have to specifically BELIEVE and confess to (by faith) that we are the CHURCH...a building not made with hands, coming down from God in heaven.

It has been painful to realise that while grace opens up the doors to all the victories of Christ, it is the same grace that unpacks salvation in its true corporate context, only as believers are as specific in their believing that they are the Church.
The Congregation that will prevail against the Gates of Hell IN THIS AGE. This is the Rock of confession upon which the Church is built.

The Covenantal Church is a church that is made of individuals who are open and laid bare before one another....but this only works in the Living Presence and sustaining power of God as Father, God as Son, and God by His Spirit amongst us.

OR you don't carry it through
and you become yet another LIAR in the earth
one who declares God to be a liar, by half building a tower only.

This is church as in
where the dead body is there the carrion gather...there the overcomers rise or are birthed
This  is church as embodied in the Cutting of Covenant together in Genesis 15.

How will you know that you will POSSESS the promises of God?
Because He will write them in Covenant across your body by the Spirit.
Firstly in baptism in water and the Spirit.
But also baptising you (again by His Spirit...you can't do this)...into His people of faith as under the Cloud of His Presence.
Notice Abraham had to drive away the carrion...signifying Jesus later words, that such a body would draw those interested by instinct...because they want to come...because they voluntarily are drawn as it says in Psalm 110.
But then such open carcasses have the Shekinah Burning Pot of the Fire of God pass right through their midst. Every church gathering should be covenantal....should experience this nature of deep presence of the Living Lord.

This is CHURCH and BODY and CLOUD as I know it, and became first aquainted with in the Billy Graham films, then as we were baptised in the Spirit in Great Kingshill...

this is what I have found so hard to articulate here on Facebook in a rather mixed, fuzzy setting.

THESE are the people I am now seeking the world over and locally, and who I want to spend my  time here on earth with. If you are such a person, be aware that it is as far from the word NICE as you can get....but as near to the LIVING PRESENCE of the LORD as you can experience now this side of heaven.

GLORY is not nice...but it is GLORIOUS, TRUE,HOLY, and bathed in COVENANTAL LOVE.

These blogposts are published automatically using NETWORKED BLOGS to my former Facebook Timeline which has not been erased in case any of you want to delve into some of the upbuilding material .

Final Part of the Covenant Series P19: The Bond of the Covenant by Daniel Yordy

Original Article with PDF and Audio

Order the Book Here

Bonds of Friendship Scultpture

19. The Bond of the Covenant
Final Observations:
First, thanksgiving brings all things to rest in submission to Jesus, but the expectation of God arising is always current and primary.
We never give thanks for that which is difficult without also, to greater measure, expecting God to arise within that thing, transforming it and turning it into wondrous good. Giving thanks brings all things into God's sphere of redemption; expecting God to arise sees Him always doing all that He speaks.
Do you see how strongly Theistic this way of walking really is? Bring all things into God, see God arising in transformation making all things brand new in the new creation.
The extraordinary difference for us is the Blood. By bringing “cancer” by name into the Mercy Seat, we are not “honoring” cancer. Nor are we dumbly submitting to any powerful continuing of “cancer.” You see, the one with cancer does NOT want healing first. They want God first. What good is healing if there is no knowledge of God arising from within into the new creation?
The purpose of vanity is that the sons of God would transform the old into the new by glorious liberty. Healing taking place inside the perimeters of the old may be convenient for the moment, but if the full inner knowing of the Pillar of Fire inside of us is not the thing that brings the healing, then all of it is just one big waste of time. People get sick; people get well; everything stays the same.
More than that, it is easy to see that the practice of not saying, “Cancer” because then it will be “more powerful than Jesus,” actually makes that thing something big in the eyes of the one frightened by the horror gripping his or her body. It becomes just one more form of a(no)-Theism. Giving thanks for the cancer by name brings it into the Mercy Seat, into the sphere of Jesus living as us in this world. Suddenly our weakness is the dwelling place of His strength.
Having brought the cancer, the autism, the difficult circumstances, the hurt, the loss, into the sphere of the Lamb-Having-Been-Slain, into thankfulness, into love for ourselves as we find ourselves to be in the present moment, now we see only the Lord Jesus Christ arising on high as the Pillar of Fire inside of us, carrying ever part of that which was once “wrong” up into goodness, into the new creation, into resurrection Life.
Giving thanks for Asperger's causes me to expect God like I have never expected God, in spite of any present weakness. Yet it is God alone that I expect, arising within me. All outward things and circumstances are perfectly in His hand, and I am at total rest in Him. I will not be driven by any biting whip of “Get healed, brother.” Yet I expect God always arising within me with healing in His wings. I expect only what must be real. Pretending for healing is a terrible hell in which to live, a way of living I banished some years ago.
Second, every piece of furniture in the Tabernacle comes forward with us and is found fully in the final three, the Ark of the Covenant, the Mercy Seat, and the Pillar of Fire. The Lamb-Slain is the Brass Altar, the Altar of Sacrifice, yes, but He is also the Mercy Seat. Every element of the Brass Altar, as it truly is, is found now within the Mercy Seat. God caused us to see those things as the Brass Altar at first, yes, because it was necessary for us to see the Lamb-Slain for our own redemption. Now, sitting upon the Mercy Seat, we have no need to see any element of redemption for ourselves. We are redeemed. Rather, we see that same redemption, now, for all creation.
Thus the Brass Altar, the Brass Washbasin, the Table of Showbread, the seven-branched Lampstand, the Altar of Incense, all things that were once our path into the full knowledge of God are now revealed as the Mercy Seat/Ark of the Covenant, through us to all.
That's why, even though the Ark returned to the Holy of Holies in Solomon's temple, it really is David's Tent that God restores in the church – the Holy of Holies, by itself alone, with the Ark of the Covenant covered by the Mercy Seat, and surrounded by many worshipers, Jew and Gentile (that is, neither Jew nor Gentile, but one new man in Christ), all worshiping God with all abandon together.
“After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” says the Lord who does all these things. Acts 15:16-17
Third, we see ourselves seated on the throne of grace, looking out upon creation.
The purpose of looking at the Path of the Atonement, at the progression of the furniture of the Tabernacle into the Holiest is so that the Spirit of God can cause us to understand, to know, and thus to move in all confidence in the throne of God upon which we presently sit.
This is the power of metaphor and why God uses metaphors and symbols all through the Bible. You can go back and find everything I say in these last few letters all through the three volumes of Our Path Home. But I never saw then what I see now. I never had the confidence then in the truth I was writing that I have now.
By draping the truth of Christ across the structure of the symbols God gives us, we know Him far beyond how we could have known Him otherwise. This picture of drawing all things into the Mercy Seat upon the Blood where all things might be caught up into the Pillar of an always arising God is the most powerful picture of our present reality that I have ever known.
Yet here upon the Mercy Seat, here in the Tabernacle of David, in the Holiest of All cast wide to include all things freely to enter in, we are looking out from God to all creation.
The first thing we see is our brethren laboring in the Altar of Incense on the other side of the veil, unable to enter in because they believe that their hearts are evil and that their flesh cannot be filled with God. They simply do not believe the 5th, 6th, and 7th Most Important Verses in the Bible.
Then we see our brethren locked into Holy Place or Outer Court mentality, seeing nothing more in God than their limited present knowledge. Then we see all humanity laboring under the curse, whether dead or alive. Then we see all angels and animals, fallen or unfallen, wandering or kept. Then we see all the substance and reality of both the physical side of creation and the  heavenly side of creation.
We KNOW Jesus-Christ-Sent. And the knowing of the Sent One flows through us out to all. All creation is our mission field. You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8 – As Jesus said at the end of His sharing in the upper room, He speaks figuratively.
The brethren laboring in the Altar of Incense are Jerusalem, the mother of us all, the Jerusalem of God, the woman clothed with the Sun, laboring to give birth. Indeed, it is this Jerusalem alone that God sees and that we honor with all the honor of David. Those found in a lessening experience of the Holy Place and in the Outer Court are “Judea and Samaria,” and all the rest of creation are “to the end of the earth.”
This is our calling, our mission, our sending, our view. From out of us flow the rivers of living water that alone set creation free.
Fourth, the picture of the Pillar of Fire is how we see ourselves, all things caught up into God through us.
This image of myself as the tip point of the Pillar of Fire touching the earth upon the Mercy Seat, my heart, causing all things to pass across the Blood, becoming brand new in an always arising God is the most powerful knowing of the revelation of Jesus Christ I have ever known. What wonders will I come to know as I practice this way of seeing God revealed through me?
Let's find out together.
Finally, we must look, now, at the Covenant as one complete whole. I had thought at first to write this as an actual contract document. That would be powerful, yes. But then I could see such a thing taken by our fellow silly humans and turned into something outward that it cannot be. So I will not cast it quite in that way. Nevertheless, here is the Covenant. We do not call it “the New,” anymore because the old is gone and forgotten. It is –
The Covenant:
Party of the First Part:
God the Father, entering all creation as the Spirit of God in the heavens and the Son of God in the earth.
Party of the Second Part:
All human believers, first as individuals – whosoever will may freely enter in, and then as a corporate body of Christ. You and me.
Bond of the Covenant:
Blood, the Blood of the Lamb as God ripped open for all to see Him as He really is upon the cross of Christ. A Man laying down His life for His friends – God revealed as He truly is. Binding and forever.
Nature of the Covenant:
A Blood Covenant. That is, regardless of who and what God is, regardless of who and what man is, in the signing of the Covenant, both become equal in all things. Everything God is belongs to man; everything man is belongs to God. The two are made one, Person inside of person inside of Person. Back to back, looking out for each other in all ways. Shoulder to shoulder, walking together in all things as the closest of friends. Heart to heart, sharing unending intimacy. Eye to eye, in equality of heart in every way. Person inside of person.
The Signing of the Covenant:
On the first part, the Blood, written by the finger of God upon the dirt of this earth and found now upon the Mercy Seat, hearts of flesh.  On the second part, the waters of baptism as an initial gesture, sealed by man in finality by abandoning himself utterly into the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ as the final act of passing through the Veil. Total surrender to the reality of Christ as us, becoming us, carrying us as we find ourselves to be all the way into Life.
Personal Goal of the Covenant:
On the first part – a body You have prepared for Me. The ability on God's part, finally, for the first time, to be seen and known and touched by His creation throughout all the heavens and throughout all the earth for all the ages to come through many sons, just like Jesus. On the second part – Glory. Man is HEART made to be filled at all times and in all ways with Omnipotence. Man must have glory. We cannot live any other way. Many sons to Glory.
Secondary Goal of the Covenant:
God and Man, together as One, set all creation free into the glorious liberty of the new creation. God and Man, together as One, search out every lost and hurting soul hiding in the darkness and coax them out into the Light and Love of God, translating each one from darkness into light, from the old creation into the New.
Long-Term Goal of the Covenant:
On the inside, God and Man share the unending intimacy of knowing one another in joy, in longsuffering, in Love. On the outside, God and Man, a corporate Man, the corporate Body of Christ, together as One, Guide and Shepherd all creation, as it flows in unending increase out of this God and Man who are always too much. God who is always thinking up new things, Man whose heart demands new worlds to conquer, new glories to unveil.
Adventure! and many, many “Unexpected Journeys,” yet always Home and Comfort and Peace.
The Central Point of the Covenant:
First: We KNOW that we ARE just like the Lord Jesus Christ, for we see Him AS HE IS.
Second: Romans 8:28-30 (my paraphrase).
And we know that God and we work all things together for good, we who love God and are the called according to His purpose. For from the very beginning, God determined to conform us to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Inside that original determination, we were called, we were justified, and we were glorified in all the glory of Jesus before God right now. We have never lived anywhere else.
We are the image of Jesus Christ revealed to all creation; we stand fully in the glory of Jesus before God in all ways right now, and we and God together cause all things to pass from evil to good, from death into life.
The Primary Terms of the Covenant:
One – We KNOW the love of God; God fills us with All the Fulness of Himself.
Two – We drink of all that is Christ; the Holy Spirit flows out of us as rivers of living water.
Three – We carry the Blood upon our hearts, the throne of God, we speak all that Christ our life is through us, and we abandon all former “sense of self” with all joy into the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ living as us in this world; all that speaks against the Word God speaks falls into silence and submission before Him.
The Central Challenge against the Covenant:
First by the serpent – “Did God really say that?”
Second by that body of people who exalt the law, the tree of knowledge, pretending by human performance to look like God, to be “gods” – “Come let us kill Him that the inheritance may be ours.”
The Lie against the Covenant:
“Do what God says,” and then you can be “like god,” with no need for God Himself in Person filling you full as your very and only life – and you can subdue the earth, get your own flesh underfoot, by your own smarts and ability without the need for rivers of living water to flow out of your belly.”
The Voice of that Lie:
“God, I hate the way You made me; if that be sin, then curse me.”
The Voice that Conquers the Lie:
Jesus, as He arises from Gethsemane: “Father, I will drink Your Cup – Oh, the Joy You have set before Me.”
Jesus, in the last moments of the Cross: “Here am I. I and the children whom You have given Me.”
The Path by which We Are Led to Conquer the Lie:
First – I AM already and fully crucified with Christ, but I am still alive – alive unto God, only it's not me, it's Christ, only it is me, the me brand-new alive unto God. And the life I live in this present body of flesh, flesh of God's flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who fills my heart full. Just as Jesus is IN the Father, so I am in Him and He is in me, every part of me in Him and Him in every part of me.
Second – I enter with all the daring boldness of God's heart filling mine right into the Holiest Place in heaven, the very throne of God, with my heart, the Mercy Seat, sprinkled always with Blood, and with my body, flesh of His flesh, washed with pure water. I have the right to be just like Jesus; I have the right to set all creation free.
Third – I declare with all confident boasting that I am just like Jesus before God right now. I partake of all that is Christ as my confidence stays high all the way through. I give thanks for all things, expecting God always to arise in me, carrying me on high, and I in Him. I exult boastfully in the full and final victory of Christ in me, though I see it not and though I remain forever in the perfect weakness God made me to be.  God ALWAYS leads me in triumph.
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Look at me, God. I belong to You.
Let every word You speak be fulfilled in me
in all that You mean and forever.
The Proving of the Covenant:
– And the Glory of the Lord filled the House of God.
– Declared to be the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead; death is swallowed up in victory.
– All creation is set free into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.
– The Glory of the Lord covers the earth as the waters cover the sea.
The Everlasting Treasure of the Covenant:
I have found Me a Man after My own heart.
The Eternal Essence of the Covenant:
God in Person revealed through human flesh, you and me together, and flowing out of our bellies across the universe as rivers of living water. God manifest in the flesh.
~~~
If you would look back at letter one of this series, “The Covenant,” you would see that the proving of “my experiment” and the proving of the Covenant are the same.
And so you see, the “Most Important Verses” in the Bible are, in fact, the very terms of the Covenant – and that is as it must be.
We could add many addenda to the Covenant, things God does say, but to add much more here is to lessen the power and effectiveness of the central issues of God and man, of creation and eternity.
~~~
All good things must come to an end, and so I must close out what has been the most life-changing (for me anyway) series I have written yet.
The concern over the Mayan Calendar was much more widespread than I had realized. All across the world people were preparing. My only interest was to understand the basic facts behind it, otherwise I paid it no mind. The purpose of setting “dates” is to make money. It's a great scam because nothing ever happens as it is “supposed to” which means the scammers get to write another scenario and make more money as soon as everyone forgets.
Everyone has their eyes in the wrong place.
Everyone is convinced that nothing happened on December 21, 2012. We would be wrong to believe that.
When Mary said, “Behold I am the handmaiden of the Lord, let it be to me according to Your word,” she altered the universe; the former age came crashing into ruin. No one knew; she hardly knew. But growing inside of her was the new age that would transform everything.
And so it is today. No one knows that the age of human folly has ended. No one knows that the new age has begun. No one knows that the world is finished and that the Kingdom is rising upon the earth. They are all looking in the wrong place.
On December 21, 2012, I wrote the majority of “The Pillar of Fire,” completing it the next morning. I didn't plan to write it on that date; that's just the morning that I was filled with the fire of that word. Yet that picture of the Pillar of Fire has changed me as much as the writing of “Filled with All Fulness” at the end of the Kingdom Rising series changed me.
In and of myself I am not anything. But I am not in and of myself. The Creator of heaven and earth fills me with all of His fulness and by Him the world HAS ended and by Him the Kingdom arises, swallowing up all things into Love.
For this concluding letter, I went through the entire series of the Covenant, listening to the audios and writing down those things that needed to be repeated in the final wrap-up. Rather than attempting something “brilliant,” I will simply write out those notes as they came through the series – in slightly expanded form.
One – the groaning travail of the creation, the hopes and fears of all are pinned on one thing alone, the fulfillment of this Covenant in all of its terms through you and me and others across this earth of like precious faith.
Two – by the Covenant, both God and us obtain all things that we desire. All things. God desires to be known, to be seen and touched and handled; we desire glory and adventure and utter HOME.
Three – This is a bloody, bloody Covenant, written in Blood, pressed through by Blood, seated upon Blood. By Blood, the Cup became Joy, by Blood, we stand fully in the light, by Blood, all things are translated out of the old and into the New.
Four – This third place of knowing God is the Holiest Place in the universe. No one can see what is found in this place, not as it really is, except they pass through the veil of Jesus' flesh. Except they eat of His flesh, allowing Jesus to be their flesh, allowing Jesus to become them, carrying them all the way through. Then, having entered in, we now, for the first time, see all things as they really are.
Five – the core point of the Covenant is that we shall be just like Jesus – bringing many sons to glory.
Six – from 3 AM at the beginning of Gethsemane to 3 PM, when Jesus released Himself from His body upon the cross, twelve hours of darkness, God walked between the bloody pieces of the Covenant, God as He really is, in Core, in Being, in Nature, God ripped open for all to see – the Bond of the Covenant. This Bond, this Covenant, is the most powerful thing in the Universe. This is not something God “did.” This is the only God; know Him.
Seven – glory is the end result of the Covenant for man. Glory is what we want.
Eight – we walk as Jesus walked, in the way of triumph, giving thanks for all things, expecting God to arise every moment. We draw all things into love upon the Mercy Seat, upon Blood, KNOWING that the God who fills us full is always arising on High as a Pillar of Fire, carrying all things into newness of life, carrying all things into Love.
Nine – Christ is revealed in our flesh.
Ten – the Word made flesh is what it's all about.
Eleven – the Inheritance and the contest over the Word God speaks, the conflict between the two trees, is central to the fulfillment of the Covenant. God requires a second witness of Christ, a second tearing open for all to see.
Twelve – the Covenant fulfilled is God in Person revealed in human flesh and flowing out of our bellies across the earth as rivers of living water.
Thirteen – God comes in Person to be Himself our insides and our outsides.
Fourteen – the turning of the Covenant was the moment Jesus rose to his feet the third time in Gethsemane and the Cup turned into Joy.
Fifteen – there is only One death, we cast ourselves into that One death with all abandon, only to discover that there is no death, only an everlasting arising into Life. God arises, and we arise in Him carrying all creation inside the God who fills us full.
Now – in my initial articles on Gethsemane, I presented the reality that, although we signed the Covenant initially in the waters of baptism, in truth, we have not yet fully signed the Blood Covenant with God. Yet by the end of this volume, I am speaking as if, yes, we have fully signed that Covenant and that it is sealed forever in us. You may well have the question, “But Daniel, just how, exactly, do we accomplish that final, real, forever signing of the Blood Covenant with God?” You may think that I did not spell it out in this book.
But that's just it. That final signing of the Covenant is a transaction hammered out between you and God, privately and personally.
Yet you will find the final signing of the Covenant in the last part of the letter “God of the Cup.” You will find it in the steps of Abraham ascending Mt. Moriah with Isaac at his side. You will find it in Jesus rising to His feet in Gethsemane, the bitter Cup turning into Joy. You will find it in the Battering of Desire as the Acacia Wood of the Ark is formed in the desert places, as David weeps alone in the caves. You will find it there, upon the Mercy Seat. You will find it in Blood.
You will find it when God teaches you to cry.

17. Our Inheritance
The New Covenant is several things. First, it is a Blood Covenant, second it is a Marriage Contract, and third, it is a Will of Inheritance.
By the Blood Covenant, we walk side by side, heart to heart with God in Person filling us full – walking through all the concourses of the universe through all the ages to come in the Bond of the Covenant.
By the Marriage Contract, we receive the seed of Christ into ourselves. We bear and bring forth the very life of God into visible reality that all creation might know and see and touch the Living God.
By the Will of Inheritance, we possess all things. We possess all things found in God, in His nature and His Person, first, and then we possess all things in creation, second. This on the one hand, but on the other hand, by the Will of the Inheritance, God finds His inheritance in us; God possesses us.
The Bond of the Covenant and The Inheritance are closely related, actually all three are found inside the Covenant. The Bond of the Covenant corresponds to the nature of the Father. Producing and revealing LIFE is what the Holy Spirit is all about. And Jesus is the Inheritance, it's writer, it's proving, and it's being.
In this letter I want to focus on the Inheritance.
We inherit by right, upon the death of Jesus, all of God. Yes, we inherit creation as well, but that's small stuff compared to inheriting God. God Himself is our reward.
Don't ever think of God as “simple.” God is simple-hearted, yes, and only the simple-hearted can know Him. But God is infinite and eternal. That means that the complexities found in God never end. It also means that all the complexity of God is right here present and right now in fullness.
Yet after 10,000 ages to come, He will still surprise, astonish, and bewilder us with avenues and vistas of glory and wonder we had never before considered.
Anyone who thinks God is dull has never actually thought.
Yet there is a word in the New Testament, part of the fine print of the Covenant, that has always sparked the deepest groanings inside of me on my face before a holy God over many years. That “fine print” clause is tucked in here and there, repeated mysteriously. Jesus said it this way:
I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. Luke 19:26
There is no question that the Spirit word coming out of Jesus' mind as He spoke these words, as they were remembered years later by someone explaining things to Luke, as he then wrote those words into Greek, as they were then translated into English, there is no question that a certain muddledness crept in.
It is hard to speak a Spirit word into human language. That's why God uses symbols and metaphors; it's why He reveals Himself only through story, and why the same Holy Spirit resting upon Jesus must also open our understanding to the Spirit realms out of which these words were spoken.
Annie Schissler, in the seeing of God she was granted, describes this same Spirit word over and over as God showed it to her in differing ways. Let me share two – though I have to pick between many.
A Final Opportunity
Taking me into His world where everything vibrates with divine life, He showed me some of His workings with His own ones here below in this dark world. He was showing me His dealings, including His saving works to bring forth His own ones unto salvation. These workings took place amid great conflicts between acceptance and rejection of those things which God offered them. In their moments of opportunity, when He granted them the  privilege of His offers of grace and mercy, those who received entered into the blessing He had purposed for them, and all was well. Others continued to reject His gracious offers all though the period of their God-given opportunities. This conflict waged its fierce battle within their wills: they could “will” to receive, or “will” to reject. There came a time when this opportunity came to an end and was taken away from them. Those who had rejected could no longer choose; there was no longer any inner conflict, for the time of their opportunity was over.
Then the Lord showed me how He granted them yet another opportunity; this time they were forcibly brought to His gracious offer. Once again they were forced into this inner conflict of their own wills; once again they had the option of choosing the thing that he was sending; but this time the pressure greatly increased, for He sent a still greater light to them.
Those who chose unto good and received that which He sent forth to them entered into good, and it was well with them; but He was much displeased with those who still rejected and refused His mercies in this further period of their opportunity. When He took this opportunity away and withdrew His offer, it was very final; it would never again come to them. Their rejection was now final, and there was no remedy nor place of recalling their lost opportunity.
Three Processing Realms
Today the Spirit of the Lord showed me yet another mystery of His workings in His own ones: three separate realms which were processing areas. The first was called the “realm of God's dealings.” The second, the “realm of growth,” into which His own ones were taken after they had passed through His dealings. And the third, the “realm of enrichment,” where all was adorned and made beautiful.
These three realms of processes were consecutive in their order: the “realm of God's dealings” being followed by the “realm of growth,” and this realm followed by the “realm of enrichment.” Each of these three realms could be possessed partially or completely. However, the acceptance of His dealings only in part brought a corresponding limitation in growth and enrichment.
He also showed me that there are other “realms of processing” apart from these first three. For example, a certain process with its resultant blessing from God had been purposed for a certain individual; but that process was still far from him. If that person remained open and receptive, this process would move forward to him and he could receive it on the condition that he remained receptive and open, and in an attitude of expectancy. To the contrary, if he did not remain open and receptive, he would lose the offer completely and would not even be aware that such a process with its resultant blessing had been offered to him. He escaped both the process and its resultant blessing, without even knowing that it had existed and been destined for him.
~~~
In another vision Annie saw a great sieve very fine. Some passed through the sieve and thus entered into the next place in God destined for them. Others did not enter through the sieve and thus passed on and were never offered that place in God again.
These words, “without even knowing that it had been destined for him,” were always too much for me to bear when I read them. To be given an opportunity to enter into a special place in God and to not enter or even to walk stupid and oblivious to that place? Such cannot be considered. And so more than once, in a sense of horror of the terrible weeping and utter loss that must come to those who do not seize hold of that for which God has seized hold of them – I got off my duff and ran back into the pursuit of God in the midst His dealings in the midst of His church.
Now, I do not read these visions at present apart from Christ living as me, that Christ is my only life. As sons of God, we are not subject to “visions,” rather any seeing that comes by the Spirit is always subject to the authority of Christ inside of us. We live by the power of what God says in His word fulfilled in us.
Nevertheless, these visions are just an expansion of what Jesus said:
I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. Luke 19:26
God is filled with many rooms, dimensions, capacities, experiences, and provisions. In My Father's house are many dwelling-places. That word has two distinct meanings, and it is intended fully in both directions. It means that in God there are many places to live, higher or lower, in fullness or in-part. It also means that the church, God's house, is filled with distinct places for God to dwell, you and me, members of His body – that each of us, each “room” for God, is unique and special and one-of-a-kind.
So we understand that knowing God is knowing a Being filled with an infinite number of different places and experiences. To know Him increases without end. On the one hand we are called to hold the door wide open that many might come rushing in – that whosoever will may come and drink. On the other hand, God never forces anyone to partake of Him. We experience only that measure of God that we desire. If we're not interested, we will never know what God would have given us freely.
Annie also saw a vision of a great room filled with many wonderful things. It was a room of great joy and blessings, greatly to be desired. Many came into that room and enjoyed what was there. But after awhile they stopped using what God had placed in that room for their advancement into a further knowledge of Him. After no longer using those things, the room became ugly and undesirable to them and they were happy to leave it behind.
Let me include next part of an ongoing communication with Bonnie Morris.
~~~
Bonnie, I am deeply honored that you would keep reading what I write until you see yourself as I see. It stirs my heart to be found worthy of such trust. It always "troubles" me to think that people are hearing from God through what I share, "Father, am I leading them to You?"
I was also struck, here, by what you share about those who once "spoke in tongues," etc., who no longer "believe in" those things, but have adopted a definition of the kingdom that is passivity, a complete non-involvement between God and us as interacting persons. What we were saying about "Those that have not, even what they have is taken away," struck me with sorrow. One could say the same thing this way. "Those who do not value the things of God inside of them, will slowly lose the practice of those things until they "believe" something entirely different." Now they are locked out in their own minds, "Been there, done that, nothing to see." And all the vistas of the heavenlies behind those gifts of the Spirit are now lost to them. Some will recover, but many will not, not until a future age.
You see that truth in the Annie visions, over and over. God offers something to His own; some take advantage of it, and some do not. Those who do not enter into this next thing God has for them are never offered that again. It was reading one of those visions that birthed the cry in me, "All of His ways concerning me are perfect. He has never led me wrong, but everything I have needed He brought to me and all of my life has been exactly what was needed to bring me into those things God has appointed for me." It is a statement of faith, BECAUSE I cannot have it not be true.
You see, I am at heart an explorer, you have no idea how much of my life has been devoted to exploration, whenever I could. The thought of arriving at some mountain peak in the knowledge of God and seeing before me a wondrous valley and then finding the way barred because "you did not value that inside the time of proving, you cannot know it now," finding my own flippant words standing in my way, that, I could not bear.
Edward Kjos was expressing a similar thing in a recent video on his site, the sorrow over those many who once rejoiced in a vision of overcoming, of the manifestation of the sons of God, but who no longer regard such a thing. On the earthly side, they just pull back and find other interests, but on the heavenly side, it's what Jesus said about losing what you have.
Our inheritance, the Person of God Himself filling us full, is worth considering to any length. Let's take just one field, entomology, the study of insects. One could spend a lifetime of intense study on all the complexity and variety of insects in all their life processes and never come to an end, never really count one's self an expert. Yet all of that vast complexity and wonder is just one tiny part of a tiny creation inside the God who fills us with all of Himself. All creation is just one thing in His pocket. In other words, He is so vast, so complex, so filled with wonder, so many awesome rooms, such vast fields of study, such indescribable avenues of pleasure and joy and awe.
Then I receive a daily email of a statement by Kierkegaard that we can't understand or know God, so faith is just completely blind. And I wonder at the passivity of our fellow believers who, filled with such complexity and wonder, find nothing that interests them! They've never read, I guess, Jesus' statement that the Holy Spirit will lead us into ALL truth.
Everything presented to us in the New Testament, every experience, every gift, every truth is there ONLY as a door. Behind each of those many doors are whole world's of truth and experience in the God who fills us full - if we are interested.
One problem is that people think He's big and tough, so they stay away from Him. They don't realize that He speaks quietly, and everything of Him is found in what He says, but we can do whatever we want with it. We can do whatever we want with God; He is entirely at our disposal.
So very few want to know Him; most just want to escape discomfort. For many grace is just a wonderful way to escape discomfort, not a way to engage with the Incredible One who desires to walk in them.
Here now, I'm writing a letter that is supposed to come later in the series. But maybe it comes sooner than I thought. Resurrection is part of the Ark of the Covenant as well. The Mercy Seat is the end of the Atonement, sitting down at the right hand of the Father. Yet there we are as well.
Blessings, Daniel

Sometimes I write better when I write personally to someone I know, so I will leave the above note as I have shared. I want to expand, now, on some of the things I said to Bonnie, specifically the God of  many rooms, the God of many doors, all of which are the one door, Christ. We inherit all of Him.
First, this whole way of thinking, that we may “miss out” on wonderful things in God because of our foolishness produces in us, when we do not know our full union with Christ, an anxiety that actually serves to separate us from Christ and thus “miss out.” The greatest jeopardy passage in the Covenant implies that we can fail to partake of Christ by losing our confidence that He is our life, that He is fully victorious in us.
Even when I began this journey of speaking Christ – eating of the tree of life, I was still swayed by this anxiety, momentarily, reading through the Annie visions – and this is what Jesus said, enter in or lose out. I was still able to sense that anxiety because I believed only and did not yet know that Christ is my only life.
Now, I see this entire issue entirely differently.
I love to explore. Give me a map and a vehicle and mountains filled with roads and streams, rock faces and little lakes, and I am in heaven. What is that next ridge, but a place filled with wonder, ascending into the clouds. And the valley it blocks? Just the next wondrous place on our journey of cooling streams and bright meadows.
How can God be filled with adventure if there is no adventure?
How can He be our everlasting joy if it's all just the same old same old?
There are two ways to view Jesus' statement: “To him who has more will be given, but he who does not value what he has, even that little bit will be taken from him.” The first way is to think, “Oh me, oh my. God probably doesn't like me. I do so poorly, I'm sure He must curse me. I may never make it.” This evil way of thinking creates two outward stances that are both an offense to God. The first is the obvious, “Poor me,” the second is far more prevalent. The worst outcome of this theology is adamant, flint-gut determination, “All that the Lord says, I WILL do!” And by this theology, Christians spend their lifetimes transforming themselves into something they think looks like Christ, but in actuality makes them completely unlike Him.
We lay out this contrast to shine the brightest light on its opposite. “'To him who has'? Well, I have. Christ is my life: I have no other life. I am seized in the grip of His determination, and He proves all that He speaks through me.” And thus came the cry of my heart, “All of His ways concerning me are perfect. He has brought to me everything I ever needed. I will never miss out of anything in God appointed to me.”
I am trying, in some limited way, to convey a sense of this room-filled God whom we get to explore, to possess, and to dwell inside of from joy to joy, from adventure to adventure, from goodness to goodness.
But God is always both/and. He is never either/or. He is a God filled with many rooms, everyone of which belongs to us. And He is a God filling a body of many rooms, through whom He flows in glorious liberty, healing, setting free, bringing life and joy and goodness to others.
We possess what we know. – Learn of Me.
All that the sole of your foot treads upon shall be yours. – Learn of Me.
Next, I want to look at the doorways into and out of these many rooms in God in us. Doors go both ways. To us all doors are wide open. Why are all doors wide open? We believe in Jesus, and we expect God.
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32
These doors go both ways. By these wide open doors, we rush into every particular found inside the Person of the God who fills us full. And by those wide open doors, God pours Himself out through us, each of us His many rooms, touching every hurting soul, bringing life and joy when once there was none.
This is the Covenant. It is a Covenant of joy.
God placed Gethsemane as the Veil to keep out those who really are not interested. The moment we arise from Gethsemane, the Cup turns into Joy. We arose in Him. When the Lord Jesus rose to His feet in Gethsemane, turning the Cup into Joy, we arose in Him.
Here is the dynamic God places before us, the inflowing and the outrushing.
“If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink – out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
Drinking always comes first. God knows how to flow out from us; He does so as we enter into Him. It is impossible to engage with God without becoming life to others, both in visible ways and in ways yet unseen. But those who “have to be” life to others, who are driven by a whip of duty to “reach the lost,” have little knowledge of Christ Himself to give them and thus can only make them “Christians.”
The world has been full of “Christians” for 2000 years and creation has not yet been set free. Christianity is not the answer. The answer is found in these words:
Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me. Behold I have come, in the volume of the book it is written of Me, to do Your will, Oh God.
I am the door – in the volume of the book it is written of Me.
I want to look at the Door who is the Door into every room in God and who is the Door of every room of God's temple out of which He flows.
Christ is every word God speaks. Let me include another Annie vision.
The Fullness of His Word
Once again in marvelous mercies He reached down; lifting me up in His arms of love, He took me into the world of light to show me more of the wonders and mysteries of His unseen things.
God does not communicate with us as we communicate with one another. His words and ways of communicating are so utterly different from ours that there is really no comparison. Sending forth a few bits of information or an idea that will enlarge man's fund of knowledge is our way of communication, but it is not His. When God communicates with us, He sends forth a word with a part of Himself in it. His way of communicating is to send forth a very part of Himself to us. His word – if word it might be called – is a part of Himself in living power filled with light, vibrant life, and creative force. Thus, when His word comes to us it is filled with the very life of God Himself.
He has given His own ones a special gift; the faculty of reception that enables them to receive this communicated part of Himself. This ability, which is far superior to hearing, is a spiritual sense that enables them not only to receive this living word from God, but also to receive all the fullness with which it comes to them. No part or portion of His word is either lost or screened out for lack of our ability to receive its fullness. In this way He gives us, time after time, a living part of Himself which builds up His nature within us.
From God came forth a living word, accompanied by a force of fulfillment which caused His word to be executed and thereby fulfilled. This word was sent to bring forth, as it were, a very concentrated essence from among His own ones, which came forth by the power and force of His word sent to them.

First, I did not receive this understanding of the Word God speaks from any other source than the Bible, good Bible teaching, and the revelation of the Holy Spirit. A word such as this vision comes as confirmation, not as the source of truth. But as confirmation, it establishes our hearts in what God Himself says.
The “letter of the word” is simply the heart of the reader who looks at the Bible as a source of bits of “information” about God and how they should try their best to “be like God.” The “Spirit of the Word” is simply the heart of the reader who looks at the Bible as a volume filled with the Door, Christ, into innumerable rooms in God and through which God comes by His Living Word to birth and reveal Himself through us, His many rooms in more ways than we can count.
To the first reader, every word is a weight of obligation.
To the second reader, every word is a doorway into more adventure and joy than could possibly be considered.
The working of the Covenant and the climax of the Great Story of God are the same thing.
God is filled with an infinite number of wonderful and good things. But He is invisible and unknowable. How can creation, both heaven and earth, enjoy God when He is a total blank? Yet God is not a total blank; rather, He is joy indescribable, adventure and pleasure forevermore.
God shows Himself by His Word. But that Word is a living Seed that carries inside itself the power to bring forth all the life that is in it inside of the hearts of those who believe, who connect with that word in the boldest of faith.
Let's see if we can paint this picture rightly.
God is infinite and filled with an infinite number of rooms filled with unending glory and goodness. He wants to share Himself with His creation. We and this Covenant are how He has determined to do that.
Every single word God speaks is Christ, that is, a Door into a huge room of God Himself. Those who enter into that particular room by the Covenant then become the room itself and the open door through which God is enabled to reveal that particular part of Himself to His creation.
He pours out of us as we drink of Him.
But this is not a static thing, water in, water out. Just look at the wonder of creation – so complex and varied, so filled with every imaginable kind of thing, expressing beauty and usefulness in every possible kind of way. We can look at the sea teaming with wondrous things, or the jungles filled with life. We can study the air and the clouds. A person could spend a lifetime studying only rain and never come to the placing of “knowing all there is to know.” And the usefulness of anything comes from surprising connections unforeseen. Nothing God made is useless, nor anything that might interest someone a “dead-end.”
Then there are the stars and planets and unending wonders in the cosmos. But I have left out innumerable rooms of wonder in the physical side of creation and have said nothing about the larger number of wonders in the heavenly side of creation.
And all of this is just a tiny expression, just a little bit, of who and what God is. And all of what God is fills every part of us in all fullness.
This is the Covenant. We possess a room in God, entering through the Door, His word, and God is now free to reveal that part of Himself to others, to the enjoyment of His entire creation, both heaven and earth.
We are His glory.
Now, every single human being God created is designed for particular arenas inside of God, to know those things, to possess them, and thus to be the revelation of God concerning those particular things appointed to them. We are members of a many-membered body of God BECAUSE God is and always must be too much. There is no weight upon me to know and to reveal everything that is God in every word that He speaks. I would blow up and pop! Yet I am filled with all of His fullness. Wow!
And so when someone says, “Speaking in tongues doesn't interest me,” that's perfectly fine. That is their right. Yes, they may never know all the vistas in God that are opened to us through praying and groaning in the Spirit, but that's okay, God is pretty big.
Yet the Covenant is with those who “overcome.” That is, those who are not satisfied with knowing only a little tiny bit of God, but who enter into the Holiest of All in all boldness, determined to drink of all that He is, determined to set creation free by the God flowing out of them.
The world is full of timid souls, and God has a place of goodness and joy for every one of them. It is highly unlikely that timid souls would spend much time reading these letters. Knowing God in boldness is a pretty audacious enterprise.
God is a consuming Fire, filled with untameable desire and unquenchable determination. To be caught up into God is to be caught up in an electric tornado who will spin you into places you've never dreamed, and who will risk His life and yours to prove His word true.
And He is gentle and tender and kind.
There is an exchange in John Chapter 12 that is so very telling.
“While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them. — “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him – the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.”
God never forces anything on anyone. The Covenant is there for all believers to freely enter in. Every word God speaks in the Bible, coming to us as the Living Word, Christ, is a door into rooms in God untold. Jesus is that Door. He speaks, then He seems to disappear. He never pushes what He says. Yet to reject His word is to reject Him. To fail to eat of, to KNOW the life of every word He speaks IS to be judged by that word in the last day.
We will never say, “God, I did not know.” For He will say, “No, son, you did not want.”
But I lay this reality of the nature of Jesus, the nature of the Word God speaks, that we can do anything we want with every word He speaks alongside the other possibility. Yes, we can ignore a word, defy it, “try to” “obey” it, twist it, jump on it, walk away from it, crucify it. We can do anything we want to our Creator, and He will not fight back.
But we don't see in that way. No, here is the boldness in which we live.
I have the right to become a son of God.
I have the right to know, to possess, and to reveal every word God speaks, every facet and dimension of this God who fills me full.
The Covenant is by invitation only. We BOLDLY enter in.
We receive every word God speaks by faith. We drink of that word, knowing that it is Christ our life and that He brings forth every nuance of that Word as us in this world. We are just like Him. And thus God is free to reveal Himself to His creation as He always wanted to – the unveiling of Jesus Christ.
This is the Covenant, the Blood Covenant between the Father and Christ our Life. We possess Him and He possesses us. The order cannot be changed. If we are waiting for “God to possess us,” we will never know Him. We must share God's heart, the heart of boldness. We possess God; then He reveals Himself through us.
Take any word from God concerning Christ our life. Know God through that word, and expect God to reveal Himself though you by that word.
This is the original intention and purpose of God; this is the whole point of everything.
God will be seen and touched and handled. He is determined it shall be so.
The Covenant gives to God the very desire and drive of His heart.
