Glimpses we see in Robin Harfouche's testimony

Robin Harfouche's testimony highlights some interesting points, which I will list here to underline them for you as you hear her story.

• The importance of family lines. There is a battle for lines in families. Robin's family contains witchcraft on one side and Pentecostal Christians on the other.
• The reference to the largest entertainment agency behind Michael Jackson, Shirley Maclaine, and so many others directly in the control of mediums and spiritists, and their "obedience to bring in the next thing", in this case the New Age message
• Spirit Guide is 9 foot tall. Think Nephilim in Old Testament.
• The spiritual uses natural means , in this case a "door" to try and kill Robin
• Churches can be power centres of Christ. As soon as she entered, she was healed from top to toe.
  She was shown a vision of the end time church in 1986. She saw the closing of the gap between the heavenlies and the earthly. This is ofcourse fully borne out in Jacob's dream of the ladder stretched between the earth and the heavens with angels ascending and descending.  It is also born out  in a prototype way in the Key of David meetings people come for in Havant once a month.
• Robin talks about creative miracles, and we see that lady with the vaporised metal block. This happened a few years ago with Peter Stott in Spain where a metal rod in someone's back vaporised and the man somersaulted to the front of the meeting - an absolute impossibility a few moments before.

This is as true on a subatomic scale to do with particles that just appear momentarily and yet appear to drive the whole show, as it is on a church level, or in our natural lives as a whole.

It is the voice, but Andre's books really nail things down infurther directions. It's things like "humanity" wasnt an also run design.It was His primary purpose to have an eternal Christ Man in heaven, as firtstborn of many brethren. Sin di...dnt disrupt the programme. This Word was unaffected by sin and totally over and above sin. Sin has been "used " en route, but WORD is without reference to sin. Jesus was the Lamb slain before there was any sin to be slain for, and even had sin never existed there is an existence in God that IS Life eternally for others. Imagine a Body living eternally inside this Life laid down for others....we just have no reference point on earth for the magnitude of this Life principle worked out through untold millions.

Later I had the thought of an algorithm. A piece of mathematical coding. An instruction. These are used to create many many returns on a mathematical problem, or are used in many different circumstances to test out designs before anything gets put into production.

Well Jesus is spirit not maths, not formulae, nor is He just a part of the Created Universe, since He Himself sustains the whole thing by His Word of Power.

Having said that Word IS like an algorithm, that is being passed through countless number of flesh, you and me forms, to come up with a NEW CREATION IN CHRIST.

"made for a time a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honour." Hebrews.

Jesus came from nowhere, "at the right time to die for us sinners". This nowhere is actually the only SOMEWHERE of any real note, since it is where God dwells. And this is where this "algorithm" returned afterwards, to watch a whole reproduction of the same algorithm take place in other flesh forms like Himself.

Jesus even went OUTSIDE, in that He went outside the city, even once He had come amongst us. Golgotha was "outside". Hebrews 13:13 says we are to walk this way. This is the very description of our walk in God.

Yesterday I very nearly posted " One day churches will allow Brian Coatney, Fred Pruitt, Ole Henrik, Nancy Gilmore,Rich Novek ,Daniel Yordy and myself to speak, but until then we are too busy following Christ to look Christian."

Ern Baxter

This morning I was writing about Ern Baxter in the context of evangelicalism- Facebook.

Everyone on earth has two choices at spirit level: to believe this,"MAN’S EGO is a LIAR, and the FATHER OF ALL LIES! And Man’s Ego no matter how you dress it up, no matter how many times you call it Christ, will never bring you to the Promise of God, which is REST!" or to believe that man's ego is not the Father of lies at all, but so enmeshed within it a death had to occur, which led to the current total reality of Galations 2:20 "with Christ I have been crucified, and live no more do I, and Christ doth live in me; and that which I now live in the flesh -- in the faith I live of the Son of God, who did love me and did give himself for me"Youngs LiteralTranslation

In that first short phrase you see the spirit that paralysed Martha in the face of her brother's death, and why Jesus had to reprimand her, you see virtually the whole sticking ground of the evangelical church movement paralysed from the outset in ever fulfilling God's mandate on earth, and the reason Ern Baxter was sent to rebuke the whole movement, and you also see the underlying helpless cynicism behind current Enlightenment education and politics. Every human movement is stifled from the outset with the basic concept "Try as hard as you might you will never really get anywhere." The gospel says, give up trying, you're too late, the same Jesus who has already overcome is going to overcome IN YOU, in practice not just belief."

Ern Baxter was a necessary outsider. It had to be someone like him that God could use in such an awesome way in Lakes Bible Week 1975, Capel Bible Week May 76, Dales Bible Week 76 and 77.

Dales 76 was the most awesome Bible Week I have ever been in, and certainly the only one which had newspaper sightings of strange lights in the sky above Yorkshire, and also reports of singing by neighbouring houses disgruntled that we had continued into the early hours of the morning. We hadn't. At around 11 or 11.30 onwards there was no one in there!! We'd gone to bed.

You see Ern had a Reformed background, his theology was geared towards God's Sovereignty. But his own wouldn't really receive him because he was baptised in the Spirit. But had he been Pentecostal, his theology could have been so shrunken, so reduced in size to individual protestant altar rail conversion, that God could never have used him to propel the church in the UK out of quaint "Spirit -filled twee denominationalism" into the vision of the Supremacy of the Church, and God's mandate to the church.

Because Ern walked between 2 stools, he walked with incredible suffering and rejection all his life.

But in the end, who did God pick up between His fingers and relocate at strategic times to deliver His Word to a whole nation of Christians?

Havant Church - October Key of David

Last Sunday Christine and I were not in this particular meeting, but it was described this morning. The keener readers will know how anxious I've been getting about these meetings, which I considered as some of the most edgy meetings in the UK at this current time.(Not including actual purpose built Paul Anderson Walsh meetings and others)

Last Sunday there was a powercut during the evening Key of David meeting. Havant Meridian Centre is particularly susceptible to electrics, and this set off an alarm which meant everyone was sent outside to the Park. The meeting continued there on the grass. (Reminds me of our school revival 1972).

Now there were youngsters in the park known to some of our youth group, who in the last 2 years or so, have become quite hot stuff for Jesus.That's a blogpost in its own right...but you've seen the water baptisms of 2008 right?)

So some of our youngsters got to talking to these others who were drawn by what was going on in this open air Key of David meeting. One of our number, Chris Darmanin (a professional photographer, but former church leader elsewhere) was used to bring specific prophetic words individually to several of the youngsters.

So can you see the thread?

God always shaking things up....causing disturbances to our "dead systems".

Even the very first church in Jerusalem was effectively "blown to smithereens"...now yes...I know what the devil meant it for....but God is the "over and above God" who manages disruptions completely for His own greater ends.

Jesus is the complete DNA

Jesus is the complete DNA of an unfolding revelation that involves you and me.

The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.Rev 19:10

As we speak and share this DNA of the Son, the Spirit of prophecy takes over to unravel the code and say "what we're building today is...."

This is how it works in each of our cells

and it is how it works in the Spirit.

In meetings when a whole Body is doing this it is the most awesome thing, that is humanly impossible.

God loves meetings that are humanly impossible.

But otherwise,whenever we meet as 2 or 3 and our hearts burn within us, the same is occurring.

I've had one of those "Bell Ringing" moments like used to happen in town squares.
The sudden realisation that the last 40 years since God stepped into the Fountain Trust meeting in Friends meeting House in London with the prophetic scriptures
about raising up a highway of Holiness
about setting up the waymarks
and indeed elsewhere for example Psalm 24 "This is the generation of those who seek the Face of the God of Jacob."

This has all now been fulfilled. that we as a generation have been that qavah generation that have sought God and moved from a place of knowing scarce nothing about the Cross, about the Holy Spirit realm, about how salvation works in the life of the believer and indeed in the Life of the church local and international to a place where we know enough to begin sharing, to begin passing on what it is to press into God, to gather around His Presence, to live around His Presence.....but more....to become Entwined with God.

And in this we are declaring now a Qavah Community, a people who are reversing Genesis 3:5 and coming into the promises that Christ won for us on the Cross.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

I read a brother once who pointed out that the original Greek in this verse is not best-served by the prevailing translation. He proposed that a more accurate translation of these words would be more like what follows. (This is my own paraphrase.)

"And we know that those who love God and who are called according to His purpose work together with God and God with them to make all things good."

Jesus said, "Abide in me and I in you." In the past we focused on our part - our need to abide in Him, but we may never have thought much about His need to abide in us. Part of "abide" means "to conform." We have no problem hearing a teaching that says that we "need to conform to Him." But what about the reverse? That He needs to conform to us?

God did not create us, redeem us, birth us anew, in order to set us on a shelf. Neither did He save us so that we would be "happy" or a "specimen of His glory."

The first thing God did with Adam was to involve him directly in God's creative work of forming the animals. God worked together with Adam and Adam worked together with God to name the animals. This is much more than coming up with a particular spoken sound to address each species. Rather it was an impartation of nature to each type of creature coming to Adam. God and Adam together made each species of animal what they are.

We have come to understand that there is no separation from God within our being. We know that He fills us with Himself. That every part of our humanity is filled with His presence at all times. We know that He carries every part of ourselves inside Himself, including our flesh and our sins. We are never apart from Him in any conceivable way. If I am not seen, He cannot be seen. If I "get out of the way," He is by definition "out of the way."

But only now am I beginning to consider what it means to move that understanding into how we see our actions.

When I reach out and touch something, God is reaching out and touching that same thing at the same time through my arm.

If I pace back and forth, God is pacing back and forth in me. If I sit down to continue typing, God is sitting down to continue typing. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. What my body is doing, the Holy Spirit is doing.

Let's look at David. I've been thinking a lot about David lately (by lately, I mean the last 30 or so years.)

David came into the camp of Israel and saw the giant defying God. He looked around and saw King Saul, the army of Israel, and his brothers doing nothing about it.

What is most important next is what David did not do. David did not ask God what he should do. He did not say, "Father, show me Your will." He did not get advice (actually he did, he just refused to follow it). He did not ask anyone to "cover" him or to check out his leading. He did not seek visions. Now, understand that later, in different circumstances, David did many of these things, but not here.

David was always breaking the law given by Moses. In fact, I don't see anywhere where he personally set himself to make sure he was following Moses' directions. Other kings did that and they are known as godly rulers, but not David. (And remember, it was on this exact point about David by which Jesus nailed the Pharisees, and they could not answer Him.)


Now, before going any further, it is clear that other kings tried doing what David did and God brought judgment upon them. David entered the Holy of Holies, placing his hands upon the cherubs covering the mercy seat and God blessed him (men had died previously doing similar things). Later on, Uzziah, David's heir, tried something similar and God struck him with leprosy.

There are always religious pretenders who seize upon boldness before God as a way of magnifying themselves. Not a good idea. And there was a time in our lives when we may have moved in similar ways, but God covered us, knocked us around a bit, and led us on.

So what was different about David?

His heart.

To David, God was everything. God filled his heart with joy. He wanted to be with God more than life itself. God had come upon David in the sweet gentleness of the evenings around the campfire, just David and his sheep. And David had sung his heart out to God, and God had filled him with such a sweetness of joy that David had fallen head over heals in love with God.

And so David was just too busy dancing before the Lord to take much time to consider the laws and regulations laid down by Moses.

Let's look at another incident before coming back to David and Goliath. This is found in both 1 Kings 6 and 1 Chronicles 13-16. I will use mostly 1 Kings 6. You can read the story yourself.

David is newly king. He's all excited about God's goodness. He sees that the Ark of God's presence is wandering around the countryside and not in its place. So, without asking God, he gets the idea that he should pitch a tent outside his house and bring God's presence into that tent so that he could sing before the Ark of the Covenant anytime he wanted to. Now, understand that wherever the Ark of the Covenant is, that is the Holy of Holies where no man can enter but the High Priest once a year with blood.

So David goes dancing down to where the Ark of the Covenant was temporarily kept and tells his men to put the Ark into a cart and bring it back to David's new city.

Here is the record of what happens.

1. One of David's men touches the Ark to keep it from hitting the dirt.

2. God strikes the man dead.

3. David gets mad at God.

4. David puts the Ark into the nearest house and goes off in a huff, kind of scared because God has never done such a thing towards him before.

5. Three months later, David hears that the guy who has the Ark in his house is being mightily blessed of God.

6. David is jealous of that blessing, so he checks out what Moses actually said about carrying the Ark. (No repentance, no soul-searching, and no weeping "I have sinned.")

7. David takes a whole bunch of people down to bring the Ark up to his tent. This time he has them do it the way God said.

8. David leads everyone in joy and singing and dancing and loud music.

9. David, in his exuberance ends up not having much of anything on his body. As he enters Jerusalem, he is dancing and twirling like a drunken fool, "naked" for all the ladies to see.

10. His wife, Mical, looks out the window and despises this crazy guy she married.

11.She tells David that he made a fool of himself.

12. God sides with David. Of all things, God sides with David and closes Mical's womb so that she never is able to bear a child.

Now look at this. There is not one ounce of proper Christian decorum and careful "obedience" to God's directions in anything David does. And his whole purpose is to put the Presence of God into a big, drafty, ugly tent, just outside his house so he can run out and sing before God anytime he feels like it and with room to surround himself with hundreds of others, all singing and shouting inside the Holy of Holies.

And yet God sides with this happy fool and against his wife who is offended because of her own sense of importance.

Now, let me get specific. In recent years, many people have experienced an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in their churches that so fills them with the "unspeakable joy, full of glory" that Peter talks about, that they can't help themselves from bursting out into joyous and hilarious laughter - in church!

And all these religious keepers of the faith look at this foolish laughter and despise it. "Laughing hilariously in church cannot be anything God would do. Only demons would fill people's hearts with joyous laughter. Only demons would cause people to dance with all their might before the Lord in church."

So where is God found? Is He found with those grumpy, pessimistic, "holy," keepers of the faith who are convinced that God is found only in putting down the flesh and thinking appropriately humiliating thoughts of one's self?

Or is He found amongst these happy fools who don't know any better than to laugh hilariously and joyously and without seeming reason - IN CHURCH? (The terrible thing is that if these same people had been laughing at a funny movie, no one would complain!)


David never treated God the same way almost everyone else treats Him. David never approached God in the stand-offish religious-decorum attitude that too many think is appropriate. This was the only time, I believe, that David was a bit frightened of God. Even later on, when God is about to kill him for messing up - again - he doesn't seem overly concerned, he simply said, "God, I'm in Your hands, don't put me in anyone else's hands." So when David comes back to the Ark three months later, there is no sense in him that He could possibly displease God with any exuberance he might display.

David told his wife, "You think I made a fool of myself today? Just you wait; I'll embarrass you even more tomorrow."

Does the Holy Spirit fill yielded hearts with unspeakable, joyous, hilarious laughter, without apparent reason, so that they can't help themselves, but burst out with joyous and sometimes foolish laughter in the presence of the Lord?

Or does God side with those who put their hand to the Ark of His Presence to make sure it never, ever falls into the dirt of human folly? Does God side with those who know that only a demon would cause someone to act so foolishly before God and His people?

I want to bear and bring forth the child God has planted in my womb. If I am surrounded by something that I am not comfortable with, that does not witness to my spirit, then I will quietly go my way. But I will never speak in judgment against those who belong to Jesus. And that, in the end, is everyone.

Because people think so highly of themselves, they are convinced that their own definitions and experience with God is all God could ever be or do in anyone else. So when they see a people experiencing God in power and joy in ways far outside of their own small, limited, and tiny definitions of God, they despise those people. "Hey, it's either me or them!"

And that way of thinking is completely demonic.

Let's get back to David and Goliath.

God and David were one. David was with God, God was with David. What David did, God did. What God did, David did. They didn't talk about it; they just did all things together in joyous, heart-filled communion. David picked up five stones; God picked up five stones. David ran towards Goliath; God ran towards Goliath. David swung the sling and released the stone; God swung the sling and released the stone. David brought Goliath down; God brought Goliath down. David chopped off Goliath's head; God chopped off Goliath's head.

That's how it works.

That is how Jesus walked with God; and we are just like Jesus, as we begin, more and more, to see Him as He really is.

Read carefully through the following excerpts from the gospel of John. Consider what Jesus is saying in the light that He definitely (in John 14 & 15) transfers to us this same working together with God that He Himself enjoyed.

"But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working." . . . "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will." John 5:17-21

"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us."
Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father . . .

"At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him . . . If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me." John 14:7-24

Let's take these words of Jesus "and you in Me, and I in you" and transfer them from referring just to our present state or condition into the larger expanse of how we look at our actions.

In the exact same way that Jesus and the Father did everything together, so Jesus and I (you) do everything together.

But obviously there is a condition, a condition that Jesus spells out very clearly in John 14-15 and that Paul raises with these words (I paraphrase, but my paraphrase is probably closer to what Paul was saying than the sanitized Bible words that go in one ear and out the other), "If I, the temple of the Holy Spirit, have sex with a prostitute, is God having sex with a prostitute?"

Paul addresses this problem in both Galatians 2 and 1 Corinthians 6, and in both cases he answers with, "God forbid!"

So what, exactly, is the difference between David's heart and Uzziah's heart (2 Chronicles 26)? Notice, though, in 2 Kings 15:34 that after Uzziah passed on, his testimony before God was that he had walked with God and done that which was right. This is not a "bad" king, here.

Why did God honor David's reckless extravagance, but did not honor Uzziah's?

It is all a question of heart.

Jesus said that those who love Him will do His commandments. He was not talking about external obedience, about hearing something or reading something outside of ourselves and trying to do what we think God wants as best we can. He was talking about this oneness of action between God and us.

Now, please understand this, dear reader. I do not write out of knowing anything already myself. Although it blesses me with great reward when dear ones write to me to share how God is speaking to them through what I write, I must confess a more "selfish" purpose for writing. Yes, when I write, I hear Him sing. But I also write because I so much want to know Him more deeply than I do now, and I do long to see these things that sometimes flow out of my fingers when I'm not looking. By writing, I can somehow gather things together where I can seen them more clearly and by doing so, I am myself tucked more deeply into the glorious unfolding of His glory inside of us.

If God also tucks you more deeply into that same glorious unfolding of Christ inside of you, than what reward I possess!

What is the difference between presumption that offends God and boldness that pleases Him? Sometimes they can look awfully similar.

Ananias and Saphira were born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. They spoke in tongues. They lived entirely inside the present age of grace. Yet God was offended by their presumption and He struck them dead. We cannot claim that we are in a different relationship with God than they were; we are not.

All I can do is share some thoughts.

The one who is presumptuous does not care.

The one who is afraid of being presumptuous is too timid to please God.

The one who is bold cannot live anywhere except in God. Anything other than all of God in all of him is inconceivable to him, he cannot accept it. And so he presses on until God opens his eyes and he sees that which is holy.

Somewhere along the line there is a decision of the heart, a "Yes, Lord," that God seizes and seals and never listens to any complaint afterwards. Then you wake up one day and it dawns on you that there is no decision to be made. Everything you are, everything you have, belongs to Him and you withhold nothing.

In the dark places, He was there. In the lonely hours, He lifted you up. When you were humiliated and embarrassed, He hid your shame and treated you so gently. In all the days and months and years of pain and confusion, He showed Himself always faithful and true.

Where else do we go?

To whom else do we turn?

There really isn't a choice, not anymore. Long years ago the choice was made, to follow after Him.

Possibly the most precious, tear-provoking passage in all the Bible to me is in John Chapter 1 (I must confess to many tears, even as I write these words). A couple of teen-age boys, barely 16, named Andrew and John, had heard a rumor that God was moving once again among His people. They had no idea what God might do, or whether God would include them or not, all they knew is that they had to go. Whatever was God and holy and true in this world, they had to know, to be a part of, somehow.

And so these two teenage boys, close friends, left their homes by themselves, and went off to get near this man, John the Baptist, who seemed to be near to God.

But somehow, John the Baptist, observing these two boys, knew that something in their hearts longed to know the living God as man had never known Him before. He knew that those hearts did not belong to him.

One day, John the Baptist took the two boys aside. He put one arm around them and with the other he pointed across the river. "Boys," he said, "Do you see that Man? You - follow Him."

To have been one of those two boys, in that moment, that would have been greater than all the kingdoms of the world.

The two friends came up behind Jesus. He turned and said kindly and gently, "What do want?" They asked, "Where are you staying," probably hoping they might be allowed to tag along. He answered them with the three most glorious words in the entire universe. "Come and see."

Seventy years later, one of those two penned these words, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life - the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us . . ."

It is heart that knows the Father. It is heart that strides with all confidence into the presence of God, into the Holy of Holies. It is the heart of David, the heart of God. It is heart broken and molded by God. It is heart that will not be denied, that will not be silenced, that will not be kept out.

How can such a thing be described? It can only be known.

Let's get back to our original premise.

"And we know that those who love God and who are called according to His purpose work together with God and God with them to make all things good."

What an incredible commission we are sent by God into the earth to fulfill!

Indeed, this is the Great Commission, much larger than the one in Matthew 28 and easily carrying that smaller commission inside itself.

Let me give an example. My younger son, on occasion, has practiced untruthfulness. Recent such occurrences provided some embarrassment to us outside the home. My wife was rightly concerned. But when she shared her concern with me, I could not see it. All I could see was God, surrounding my son, filling him with Himself, working in his heart to bring him to understand truth and truthfulness. I shared my view with my wife in a way that she was encouraged in the Lord. Then, I had a chance to speak to the boy that my sons are honest and truthful, both in word and in deed.

He wanted to take his MP3 player to camp; his mother said, "No, you will not." He snuck it into his suitcase anyway; she did not know. As they arrived at the drop off point, my son insisted on opening his suitcase. He dug around, pulled out the MP3 player and gave it to his mother without saying anything about it. Then he went off to have a blast at camp.

Somehow, God working together with me, and I working together with God, in oneness of purpose and heart and seeing, worked in my son's heart to cause truthfulness to become his own.

It may be a simple thing, but it is in the simple things that God shows His glory.

I will not fall into a false humility and say "It was all God, I had nothing to do with it." In just the same way, I have no connection with the other false thing that would say, "Well, see, I just know how to handle my son."

Contrary to both, I worked together with God, God worked together with me, and together we made all things good. And of course, my son will continue to grow in the Lord, but my full and unwavering expectation is that God and he will continue to work together all the days of his life.

Truth is not found in definitions or in doctrinal exegesis. I cannot explain these things either to you or to myself. Truth is a Person, and that Person lives in my heart. And that is why story, our story, is, in the end, the best and only way that truth is unveiled to us.

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled."

Christ is that which is always personal in us.

To wait upon the Lord is to be entwined together with God, not just in person, but in all that we say and do. Not by our effort to please Him, but by the confident expectation that He fills us with His favor at all times.

If this makes no sense written in left-brain study text format, I'm not sure the actual Key of David meeting itself would have made more sense to someone used to sitting in a meeting with John Stott,Greg Haslam,David Pawson, or Jimmy Graham. But if you are starting to get sensitive to how the Holy Spirit moves, reveals and shapes His kind of meetings you'd have picked up a lot. I bet if you'd have asked anyone there, and some travelled all the way down from London,as they were leaving,"did you consider it worth coming?", many would have been scarcely able to respond. That's not a negative...it's just that Key of David meetings can leave you a bit stunned. "Surely the Lord is in this place." I personally don't like hanging around much after them...because any talk sometimes cheapens what was going on.



And I have to say , sometimes we actually have very little clue until afterwards about how groundbreaking these meetings are in that they mirror the very NOW Word that Christ Himself is speaking into the world Church. Yes, I mean that. It's hardly ever anything to do with our locality, and quite often transcends our nation.



I myself have been given things I had no idea were new chapter headings in the Church. I brought them as led, but have to humbly admit I hardly knew anything about what I was bringing.

Here are two examples

Revelation 3:20 Word from a Key of David Glory Conference which began a whole new chapter

in the church and my own life to do with the revelation of the Father. This still continues...and I mean right now.....



And secondly, last year's Conference which is on a CD somewhere, which was about God rearranging His furniture in the church.....to make His Son have pre-eminance again. This has certainly come out on this blog concerning Pyramid building, The Jesus Manifesto book by Leonard Sweet and Frank Viola, and not least "Corinthian Elders" by Jack Fortenberry.

Unusually for a Key of David meeting praise was a bit like walking in sticky treacle.(NB...if this happens to you...keep pressing through...because quite often you're pressing through a door that the Devil does not want opened. In this case an enormous Presence of God to do with the Bride as an army with banners coming up out of the wilderness.)

One of the songs we began with had the phrase "Morning Star". I felt by the Spirit that this was being highlighted. Perhaps I did not push this hard enough. The next thing we were onto the image of the Bride at the end of Song of Solomon.

What was the connection?

The connection is above in Song of Solomon 6:10
'Who is this that grows like the dawn,
As beautiful as the full moon,
As pure as the sun,


Morning Star...=Groom..........Bride.......as beautiful as the full moon.



Morning Star
Jesus we know is the morning star. But as I shared with Peter Stott in the meeting, we have completely missed the point of why He is the Morning Star.

If your eschatology (end time view) is restricted to "Jesus , it's rough on Earth and getting rougher, please get me out of here". Then you will view Morning Star as the only thing you can fix your eyes on during the darkest part of the night before dawn, when Jesus will come and rescue you . He is your hope, meaning I cannot stand what's going on here but at least I see that Jesus made it so if I can just keep focussed on Him...He'll see me waving my banner from my besieged fortress rooftop, and scoop me up outta here.

"The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church" does not mean gates are attacking us while we huddle in our little Kingdom castle. He said, he'd never seen a gate jump off its hinges and chase him down the street!



In the same way Morning Star means this. And this is what we fix our eyes upon.

Jesus was the prototype.

Imagine a mug factory. The design mug is the prototype. There is only one of them. A lot of design care and attention gets lavished on this one mug, because once it is finished EVERY SINGLE other mug will be patterned on it.

The existence of the first mug isn't a sad thing.

"Oh I've only got one mug...I'm going to cry."

The existing one mug is a thing that is full of hope. Ha haha...at last we've worked out our pattern....now we're going to have a run of 60 million like it.

In a commercial mug factory they're not pacing up and down wondering if they'll ever get another mug like it. They're sort of matter of fact. Right, we've got the pattern.....so yes we can fulfil your World Cup international order for 60 million by next month.



It's definite. It's a cert.



That's what Jesus as the Morning Star means.

He's the first of a whole NEW DAY of Sons exactly like Him....that He is not at all ashamed to call brethren.



The Christ as us message has this certitude about it.

If Jesus , the same Jesus, is in us as us since conversion...

if the whole stupid idea of us as self-running beings introduced by the devil in Genesis 3:5 turns out to be what it is....a myth

that we are nothing but containers for the deity or spirit/Spirit that we choose



Then the Morning Star to us is a dead cert. We cannot lose. We can only be Him through our personalities, through our bodies, through our minds.



Now settling into this is a process, yes. But it's no harder or more weird than learning to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit as He guides us through great meetings. It's no less real than that. And as a Church we've now been doing that for 105 years since Azusa St and the Welsh Revival.

Let's lean on some more verses so that they squirt out some more Spirit juice!
The Greek of 2 Cor 3:18 says
We But all unveiled with face the glory of Lord seeing by reflection the same image are transformed from glory to glory just as from of Lord Spirit
1. There's no veil any more. It was torn in the Temple from top to bottom when Jesus died
2. by reflection...indicates the same Jesus that we have received into us, is the same One whose glory we are beholding.
3. He is working a "from glory to glory" transformation in us. Its not from zilch glory to glory. Its from glory to glory. He is layering glory on us like the French polish layers I put on pianos.
4."As from of Lord Spirit" means some or all of these things: a)the glory that comes from the Spirit of the Lord...it's not ours...we've not earned it...it's not of our doing...and from here on in it's Him as well b) more precisely from that Spirit that was roadtested in the life of Jesus on earth, that Spirit that also raised Him from the dead....a picture here of the Jesus who laid His glory aside, came here fully human like us, restricting Himself to the same sort of equipment that He'd be letting us have....namely the now fully roadtested indwelling Holy Spirit of Power that He had.

2 Peter 1:19 The morning star rises in your hearts
1. Proof verse that we are tracking with the apostles. The same Morning Star of Revelation is the morning star rising from out of the darkness of our own lives. His life in our hearts now empowers us.
2.it is the certitude that when He appears we shall be like Him. This very hope works within us like radioactive material ....friends don't you feel it within you?.....this radioactive hope that is itself a purifying agent.

Song of Solomon gives a picture of FUSION occurring in the wilderness between Bridegroom and Bride

Previously the only sun of righteousness we knew about was God. This runner talked about in Psalm 19 , running across the sky like a Bridegroom. But what have we now? Two of 'em. A church who is like it as well.

Terrible as an army with banners.
At the end of the meeting people took hold of banners to represent this.
I felt by the Spirit to remind people that these banners were a token of what was really going on. God is birthing these banners, these Names of God into us. I know someone is going to say we have all of the Names of God in us. That's true. But I'll think you will find that our own road maps become particular Banners of God in the Body of Christ.
In the meeting I used the example of how David Strutt who had to go throught the awful awful grief and loss of his first wife to cancer....all the while, as a lot of us, perfectly aware that at other times all of us have seen people raised up completely out of cancer situations. We know God can do it.
What worked death for David though has become life for the people of God when he is anointed to share. There is a Banner of God in David's life that wasn't there before.

There are people in the Body of Christ that can do things. They have Apps. Banners.Aspects of the Names of God.
Maurice Smith oozed grace, though in his personal life he knew fearful depression and anxiety attacks.
My friends Ron and Pam Knight oozed hospitality. With them it wasn't "oh what a great time we had round their house".....it was Holy Spirit comfort and strength oozing all round you while you were in their presence. A large number of the church just gravitated there in the 70s.

The verse " out of your innermost being shall flow rivers of living water" has been nicked by the Pentecostal experience. Also valid....but it's main context in John is the Feast of pouring of the Water during the Feast of Tabernacles, not Pentecost. This is a 3rd level or 3rd Feast picture. It's a mature man and woman in Christ pouring out major flood tides of Spirit stuff through them. The Banners, the Names of God, fashioned in a believer for imparting to a threadbare world. This is a work of the glory to glory just as from of Lord Spirit we read earlier.

In the 1980s a song was given that was sung very widely: Joel 2 "And they shall rush on the city, run on the walls." The Holy Spirit was indicating the nature of the mature Body of Christ exercising authority according to Ephesians 6. Many pointed out that this was NOT the nature of the context in Joel 2. The particular army was not the people of God, but one being used by God to exercise judgment.

This is where we need sensitivity to understand when the Holy Spirit is speaking. He never said that Joel 2 was the people of God. He was indicating that the mature Body will have this aspect to it, further underlined by Psalm 149 (see the Airplane song at the bottom of this link)

So on one side of the world people were dismembering Paul Cain while the other, God wasn't waiting for prophecy ...He was actually giving a graphic example of Joel 2 authority should people only have the eyes to see...and he was using the vessels no respecting American evangelical would suspect....namely Catholics....which is probably how they missed one of the most staggering events of recent years....a bloodless coup.

There are many gatherings going on under different names
all over the world.
These meetings are of increasing significance
When Jesus commanded the disciples to wait in
Jerusalem until they received the promise of the Spirit
these meetings were NOT a suggestion.
There was a weight of significance about this particular period
that was not a take it or leave it affair.

Key of David meetings , as with our main meetings have a significance to them. I have had a similar impression at key points in my history.

The small home meetings waiting on God in Grimsdells Lane ,Amersham. (73-75)
Hearing 2 specific messages by Mother Basilea Schlink in Darmstadt after she had been away fasting and praying. (This was against a backdrop of Chairman Mao poised to invade Europe….referred to again in the Jung Chang Mao book)
The Lakes,Dales and Capel Bible Weeks with Ern Baxter mid 70s.
Many of the Emsworth meetings early 80s when there had been a breakthrough in the area of praise, and then worship. Many of the
same people now lead Havant.

There is an acceleration.
Key of David meetings are about learning a language.
A language of love.
A language between the Bride and Her Groom Jesus.
Bible passages and verses are continually referred to
but in the form of something you are walking together into…
like halls in the Palace of the King. In Key of David meetings
you experience Living scripture.

Jesus speaks through prophecy, through song, through
silence, through racket…through all of the same…
in your heart…then precisely the same thing through a believer
across the room…or perhaps not the same expression of something
but the same key burden or tenor of what they are saying….in the same
way that a Welsh translation is always longer, more poetic, more singsong than the English equivalent.

Tonight was about the Bride straightening up…not being ashamed…having her
spine straightened and strengthened….about to be presented by Her Lover
to the world. That which has been secret for so long, presented for others to
Wow over. It was about the revelation of the Cross, and the Lamb in the throne room of heaven.
It was about how we have had many Christian concepts such as joy, such as
the Cross, such as the Armour of God….but now was the time for revelation about all of these. Rock solid revelation experiences which would change our lives now….and for the rest of our lives.

Now , everything I’ve written is in black and white and it is information. If a married couple ever shared their intimacies in a written report, it would come over in the same way. Pretty meaningless. About the same as when wives ask their husbands what went on at a meeting.

You have to be in a Key of David meeting, just as you have to experience a drama or a film. You can describe the bare bones of the plot…but it means very little.

Most of secular life is conducted in this dry, waterless place of our left-brain frontal cortex. We approach Christ in this way. But He undermines us by saying “He loves us.” Him loving us is not a doctrine, it is something you experience. Key of David meetings are where people come out of their left-brain cages to experience the Life and touch of the Living Christ.

Sometimes bodies are healed instantly. Minds.Emotions.Traumas.

But they are not healing meetings. They are where the Bride meets with her Christ. Jesus sets the agenda. They are about Him.

They are not worship meetings or praise meetings per se. So for this reason songs are not necessarily finished. The song is not important. Musicians are not there to look good. They are purely functional. And the function is to love Jesus. Just that.
They are corporate versions of the language Madame Guyon uses in Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ, where she says you start with a scripture, or song or prayer, and you roll it around…but you are not there for any of those things…you are just seeking to be joined with your Lover.

Saints, we’ve spent millennia trying to get an intellectual fix on God, on Jesus,on the Holy Spirit….but we’ve not operated in what Jesus was always looking for. He said,”the time will come when those who worship me will worship in Spirit and Truth.”

This does not mean we will worship in intellectually truthful ways….
it means if Joy is the subject, then you will really be manifesting the joy of Christ Himself…not some intellectual description of that joy.

It means when you put on the armour of God (one of tonight’s themes) you are not putting on an intellectual description of the armour for you to muse on…but there and then in the Spirit you are operating the spiritual reality of a Sword…which is the Word of God….and with the same reality as a lightsabre say in the fictional Star Wars. And each of the armour objects are perceived suddenly for what they are…REAL…POWERFUL….and something coming down from above by the Spirit.

Heidi Baker is at Rivercamp 2010 with Mark Stibbe. Now Heidi and Rolland run meetings very similar to Key of David. The main difference being that absolutely anyone in the room can be used to lead at different times in a Key of David meeting.

'GOD'S PLEASURE IS FIRST AND FOREMOST A PLEASURE IN HIS SON". The Bible reveals this to us while showing us the face of Jesus shining like the sun. In Matthew 17 Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up on a high mountain. When they are all alone something utterly astonishing happens. Suddenly God pulls back the curtain of the incarnation and lets the kingly glory of the Son of God shine through. 'His face shone like the sun, and his garments became white as light' (v.2). Peter and the others were stunned. Near the end of his life Peter wrote that he had seen the Majestic Glory on the holy mountain, and that he had heard a voice from heaven, 'This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him' (2 Peter 1:17-18; Matthew 17:5). When God declares openly that he loves and delights in his Son, he gives a visual demonstration of the Son's unimaginable glory. His face shown like the sun, his garments became translucent with light, and the disciples fell on their faces (Matthew 17:6). The point is not merely that humans should stand in awe of such a glory, but that God himself takes full pleasure in the radiance of his Son. He reveals him in blinding light and then says, "This is my delight!" . . . I thought to myself, surely this is one thing implied in John 17:26 ["that the love you have loved me with may be in them, and I may be in them"--NET Version]--that the day is coming when I will have the capacity to delight in the Son the way the Father does. My fragile eyes will get the power to take in the glory of the Son shining in his full strength just the way the Father does. Chris Welch Wow. Also amazing because all afternoon while tuning was pondering doing some sort of Close Encounters of the Third kind Facebook post concerning the Transfiguration. Actually the odds of that are quite staggering when you think about it.
Our Key of David meetings here are very much where we let God set the agenda. We usually open up in praise but with one ear and eye open to seeing what God is saying. They are not so much meetings as a bunch of people entering into that very relationship that God has within Himself from the beginning. Literally anything can happen at these meetings. What we are feeling is that as we get more established in them we will be exporting this way of doing things all over the world. In a way Peter Stott has already begun with that 6000 member Chicago New Life Church, and various other networks in Spain. I think this was the pattern Evan Roberts found in Wales in 1906.

This conference continues to expand the theme of God's glory - His visible and active presence - and of this being revealed in and through us. It has been said that "the glory of God is man fully alive ......
Once glimpsed, His "glory" consumes our affections, our focus, our life choices and our destiny. Creation awaits its own release from corruption as our "glory-ous freedom" as God’s
family on earth is revealed. Redeemed humanity is mandated to carry the image of God - to reveal His glory - and become "word made flesh" to our troubled communities.
The Key of David synergy of worship, the prophetic and the presence of God continue to be foundations on which this conference will seek to build.

Speakers will include Greg Haslam, Senior Pastor of Westminster Chapel in London and from our church - Peter Stott and others from the Key of David team.
Greg Haslam travels widely -is a Bible teacher, conference speaker and writer. He has a real heart to bring Word and Spirit together through biblical theology that is on fire. He desires to see the widespread emergence of healthy churches that can become a credible voice to our declining culture. This requires an informed and vigorous depth to their faith, and a dazzlingly different lifestyle in marriage, home, work and Christian community. Crafted Prayer Day 3

Without being too specific about the Havant Crafted Prayer Christine and I were deeply challenged by Dan's post about suicide.

A bruised reed He will not break.
A proud and haughty heart (alone) He will oppose.
The Kingdom is about raising up the valleys of depression and despair, but casting down the high mountains of pride and scoffing, and "independant self living".

Depression and suicide does not need more heavy weights and judgement tied round it like further heavy chains. The same with homosexuality or as Dan has pointed out, many times both!

Let me show you what the Church is for. I have read this over the past few days.
Read 1 Corinthians 1:27
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
Hmmm....you think that's something
That's nothing. In fact if anything that is the precursor stage to what is coming next.
Let's give you a background. The Jews were useless at the Law, so Jesus came and showed a better way. The Jews largely, did not listen, so we the Gentiles had a go.
The gentile Church unfortunately got eaten by the Roman empire, at first by lions, later by being subsumed in a religious system. Useless. So God raised up Luther.
And Calvin. Who again missed it. So He raised up some Baptists. Methodists. Quakers.
Then it was the Brethren.
Then it was the Pentecostals.
Each generation takes things so far, fails and the whole operation gets thrown open to the next set of failures, but spiritually hungry and desperate.
The Jesus People.
The Joe and Jennies of the house church movement. These are all the foolish shaming the wise.
But saints you haven't seen anything yet! LOOK AT THIS.

He chose the base/zilch things of this world and the despised things,the thrown out things—and the things that are not(hmm exactly how much are things that ARE NOT....do you think you might qualify????)—to nullify the things that are,
Let's consider that word nullify!

You got it! You're IN. To the biggest plan that has ever been devised in the history of the world. This is the Third Level Church!

Which brings us to two features of the 3rd Level church as modelled in seed form by the Key of David meetings. (but that's just a meeting form....bit like Elijah with his head between his knees while the servant went up to watch the rain actually appear in 3D storm form. The train appearing on Platform 3 is the Kingdom coming in Power AS YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE)
Feature 1. The saints find the actual grace,love and power and Divine enabling Presence of God overshadowing their meetings. Worst sins. Doddle. Worst Sicknesses. Doddle. Worst Demon possessions. Cinch! Why? Cos God turns up Himself!!!
Feature 2. The Church as a Grace-filled version of the Old testament Cities of Refuge. Places to hang out if people are coming at you with STONES!!!!

This is the Word for those of you who are in despair. It's not what the devil has told you. That is, if you make it at all, the best you can hope for is dangling off the cliff in a coach like the end of the first Italian Job movie.
NO....this whole end of the Age is BUILT around YOU. YOU are it!!! God's tried with the people who think they are something. He's giving up on them and moving outside to the people who can use a bit of His grace!That's what 1 Corinthians 1:28 says. So it's LEGAL and FINAL!!
v.29 so that no one may boast before him. 30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.

I've been thinking more and more about the believer and his or her relationship to what we call church. It struck me that it might be a bit like a baby's relationship with its umbilical cord. What I mean is that so long as the child is in the womb then the cord plays a vital role...

Interesting train of thought. I have been in such a process for a couple of years myself deliberating whether to leave my present church or not. I have tried, without success, the last four years to introduce my pastor to the grace message. It seems to me that God is building an "cyberspace" congregation where the New Covenant truths can flow unimpeded and I feel an urge to be in that torrent.

I haven't been in the organized religious community or in an organized religious entertainment centre (some people call it church) for 4 or 5 years now. My relationship with the Loed has never been better and I do not miss the church community at all. After all, you and I ARE the church! I have also noticed an amazing increase in the "cyberspace" congregation. People "called out" from virtually every country in the world. God is (as usual) doing an awesome work. Praising and thanking Him.

Much of the material on this blog relates directly to this question of Cutting the Cord.

If you are coming in from the outside you must forgive the jargon I use. Regular blog readers know that my use of first,second and third levels is quite specific, but as the TheoCentric bloglink shows, you can further subdivide the Christian life in just the same way that you might describe the development of our own lives according to say, decades.

But here, and in the Paul Anderson Walsh series of books the definitions of 1 John 2 are used: Children,Young Men,Fathers. These are not sexual definitions. These are Spirit.

Hence Mother Basilea Schlink (Darmstadt,Germany)was one of the Fathers in my personal life. She was one of only a handful of people in the Earth in the 70s to point to a real Biblical understanding of growth in the believer.

Unless we work from these Biblical definitions we will not understand what on earth is going on in our lives, nor have any real shape in our understanding of what church is, what church is for and what limits and boundaries are placed on the function of church.

To further confound people's left-brain understandings...and really you should be leaving these parts of your brain outside by the door for this next bit....

Ezekiel talks about a vision of wheels within wheels...

Nothing describes seasons of growth better.

Simultaneously you have the believer's growth stages

You have the growth stages of a local church expression.

But you also have the macro scale of the Church in the Earth. For centuries, the whole identity of the Church was with getting people saved from hell. In the last century the Pentecostal/Charismatic effusion concerned itself presenting a gospel of power, of signs and wonders to effect miraculous changes here and now on Earth. Actually, the initial foundation had been laid through the Quakers and the Brethren, re-establishing more Biblical patterns of meetings where "Everyone hath a", with which to bless and upbuild other believers.

The third level is I believe upon us now. This is where the whole direction of the church is set to birth Christ in a believer. Not the birth of new birth. This is rather the birth of a fully operational son of God in the Earth, who in his/her turn knows how to reproduce others to the same level. This is unique to our time period.

I like Frank Viola's angle in his book from Eternity To Here. This is also to be found in Juan Carlos Ortiz's book "Disciple".

The Church is NOT ABOUT US. Although we are in it.

It is not about how we feel.

It is not about whether we enjoy it or not. But if it is conducted in the Holy Spirit we should.

The Church is for the Lord.

As Ortiz described in detail,most churches, if born again at all, are piles of unrelated bricks.

Believers neither really know why they are there. Who they really are. And what their relation to other believers is.

All of us at birth are contaminated with lust...for power, for sex, for things. Baptism in the Spirit

is not the complete antidote. The Birth of Christ in a believer is the antidote. Saul, in the Old Testament was anointed and quickly entered into leadership. David, had anointing...but he had something else too...a heart change...made even greater after the sad episode with Bathsheba.

Churches are presently run by men and women, who many times are not even born again. Or born again yet not baptised in the Spirit. Or baptised in the Spirit but with absolutely no idea that a third level of growth exists, let alone that they are called to impart to others that same Life of Christ.

Jorge Pradas's vision, greatly influenced by Ed Miller, (both in Argentina) is described in his book (in Spanish),"Congregados para darle gloria" "Gathered for the purpose of giving the Lord Glory". This is the Church. It's all about God's glory. It's about gathering around His real Presence. Learning to relate together with a King, a Lord, and Friend.

The Church is unique. When we gather as little as two or three then mystically He is there in our midst. Does this take away from our personal position in Christ? Living as Christ in our forms as us? No. But when we gather as instructed in the Bible some really unique things occur. We are given gifts for one another that are the precise rhema word that we might be needing right now...if only to confirm what God may be speaking to us individually anyway.The Power of the Lord is experienced tangibly. Unbelievers who are present are confronted with what is basically a miracle week by week...."How can such a body of disparate people such as this, all ages, all intelligences,both sexes, all backgrounds, move in such a unified unplanned fashion? Without notes? Without string pulling? Often times with completely new beautiful songs? Or specific words of knowledge about exact conditions and circumstances that could not be known...How can this happen? Especially in today's secular world?"

The problem is the Church is mostly not like that. It is string pulling. It is gathering around one leader's set of skills. It is a pile of unrelated bricks. And very little Presence. Emotion, yes. Overhead projection. Maybe a worship band. But that's not what I have described above is it?

And so anyway. This is the difficult thing for Free Believer's on the internet and this is the difficult thing for members of what I call large "warehouse churches", particularly in USA, Australia and now in the UK.

Size in itself is not a problem. But are the Biblical components for growth there for you in that warehouse church? The ones I've described to get you growing supernaturally.

To "Free Believers", pulling away from a church to establish yourselves in a more 3D relationship with God, is not in itself implausible. I had to go that way. Actually, most of the Bible characters seemed to go that way. So it's not like we are unique here.

But what is important is to get the complete overview. The answer to bad church is not no church....it is good church. And this last sentence presents a challenge to both sides of the divide:"Free Believers" and "Warehouse Christians".

Good church runs in the Melchizedek order. The Lord of the Universe runs it. He does use His own ministry giftings to achieve certain ends....but the end is ALWAYS this.

Jesus wants to live His Life through you as you. Exactly as he originally made you, before sin snaffled some of your divine image. There...just there....ministry giftings tail away into insignificance....because....hush now....the believer is in Union with his or her Christ. And what they get up to, like in a marriage chamber...is frankly no business of yours....so just back away, whistling to yourself, just as if you are not there. Got it? That is the Jesus Pattern of Ministry. So so so so far from anything out there today.

Good church has the Presence of the Living God. And frankly, no one has a clue what He'll get up to next.

Good church somehow gets over the problem of cutting the Cord.

In Song of Solomon, the first time watchmen are mentioned, it's great. Like a good secondlevel church experience, they are there to feed and upbuild a believer. Next time they are mentioned, you're having your clothes ripped off you, being paraded around in the road for heaven's sake!!!

What's that about?

That's about cutting the cord! Or the other analogy some 3rd level teachers used (now the International Ministry Association or IMA, look them up on Wikipedia) is that of an eagle stirring up a nest of baby eagles.....Time to fly little ones!!! "But I like the nest!" "Sorry, but it's time to fly! Oh, did I just push you all out? How clumsy of me!!"

If this was just theory, well it would be a bit one-sided.

From 1978-84 in particular Emsworth church (near Portsmouth UK ) were experimenting how you run meetings in the Presence of God. Also how you train up young people in ministry. What we carried was a bit of the divine DNA about how you do meetings. How people are transformed from one level of glory to another by beholding the face of the Living God in meetings. Emsworth was pretty useless at the time on articulating growth in terms of the epistles, but in terms of hands on experience it was an incredible time.

In the last few years, Peter Stott and others in the church here in Havant (next door to Emsworth) have been pursuing a similar course under the title "Key of David " meetings. (More background here) This, and the fact that several locals were all present for some of the Lakeland Florida Outpouring last year (do a blog search on Florida Outpouring),

has actually meant huge changes to how we do even main meetings here. Perhaps our smaller size helps.

Finally, in thinking around this topic of Cutting the Cord...remember a relationship is a symbiotic union. Its 2 way. For good or for bad. Whether healthy or unhealthy.

2nd level churches are only successful because people willingly go there. They are defined by a leader or leadership team that require your submission to them. They usually require your money, in a very predetermined amount. And if you fulfil your side of the bargain, they will provide you with one, two or three hours godly entertainment and teaching, and maybe signs and wonders, in the case of those with outstanding anointing.

But never forget. You willingly gave yourself into this. It's not one way. Like an abusive relationship, the battered spouse is secretly and wondrously drawn to that powerful macho figure that beats her up.

So there is both a cutting of the cord from a healthy situation, just as a teenager gradually moves ever further out from his or her family home. And there is the cutting of the Cord from an abusive church situation that forever wants to keep you as pew fodder, digesting the same cycle of sermons, about things that have little or no revelation value, so as to make you grow supernaturally. Cutting this type of cord, has greater, more fearful repercussions, because you are pulling away from status quo land, where you may continue in great personal bondage for years, without you or others being aware....until you seek to make steps to following your Bridegroom more actively.
