The overcomers of Revelation
To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.’
He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.’
To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it.’
He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the [o]nations;  and he shall [p]rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from My Father;  and I will give him the morning star.
He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.

The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you grieve for Saul, when I have rejected him as king over Israel? [a]Fill your horn with oil and go; I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have chosen a king for Myself among his sons.”...................

So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him.He left the oxen and ran after Elijah and said, “Please let me kiss my father and my mother, then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back again, for what have I done to you?”

(NOTE this interesting fact...David was the boy out the back with the sheep....Elisha was at the tail with the 12th pair of oxen.)

Ephesians 1 and 2

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself............

if Ephesians 1 is more about the position of Christ then there are two phrases that are incredibly important for what follows

verse 9
He ]made known to us the mystery of His will, according to Hiskind intention which He purposed in Him 10 with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times, that is, the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth.



CHRIST: far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Jesus had said pray these words

Our Father who is in heaven
Hallowed...most holy be your Name
Your Kingdom Come
Your Will be done
On Earth AS IT IS IN HEAVEN

For this reason was the Son of God made manifest that He might destroy all the works of the Evil One 1 John 3.8

No man can enter into a strong man's house, and seize his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.

The Gates of hell shall not prevail against my congregation, my ekklesia, my gathered church
Matt16.18

whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven ,whatsoever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven, Matt 18.18

remember the 4 phrases above at the top? a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession

What kind of King is Jesus?
He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen. 1 Tim 6.15

What is the original mandate of man?
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the [ak]sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the [al]sky and over every living thing that [am]moves on the earth.”

The heavens -- the heavens are Jehovah's, And the earth He hath given to sons of men,Ps 115.16
ie....NOT to angels...nor specifically devils.

Again, the devil *took Him to a very high mountain and *showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9 and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus *said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’”   Jesus did not pay any attention to the devil's usurped rulership through men "in the independent self spirit. As far as He was concerned Psalm 24.1 was still true....the earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof.


What is the nature of our KINGING as a church and as ministries in church?
Luke 22:25 And He said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who have authority over them are called ‘Benefactors.’ 26 But it is not this way with you, but the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant.
Notice Jesus summed up the all time ruse of worldly rulers perfectly....selling their control and rights over people's lives as benefits instead in the form of being BENEFACTORS of the people.

1 Peter 5:2shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; 3nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock. 4And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

the attitude of the apostle
the kind of work we are about
the imparting of Christ, His Person, His Life, His gifts....well the proof is in God;s own commendation and in REAL POWER.

Earthly power is largely to do with pyramid structures and learning to operate within that pyramid, the pyramid itself being what quite often lends you the power.
Spiritual authority is RAW POWER, it is the very  power of God.


So to summarise
We have been trying to sell the Bible and the Bible's teaching to charismatics and evangelicals who are not themselves sorted on what the Kingdom means.

The Kingdom means accepting the Kingship and Lordship of God.
Much isn't very obvious, especially coming from all our different backgrounds...so we are expected to learn to seek out the reign of God and revelation of its meaning.
The Kingdom is about the reign of God now.
The Father said Sit at my right hand and Reign until your enemies become your footstool.
Jesus isn't budging.
Instead, Ephesians 1:22  says
And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

JESUS HAS BEEN GIVEN AS HEAD OVER ALL THINGS (AS A GIFT) TO THE CHURCH.
Our Kingship and Priesthood is exercised in the realm of real power.
These signs shall follow after....said Jesus.

Jesus whole operation Hebrews 7 says, is not based on the power of some levitical priesthood...but setting that all aside, His own ministry comes out of the KINGLY tribe of Judah, of which nobody ever became a priest. No Jesus authority is based on His own indestructible Life that He also gives to us.
And this is clearer still, if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become such not on the basis of a law of physical requirement, but according to the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is attested of Him,

“You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”

We have been preaching to evangelicals and charismatics who always have their internal eye on a get out clause....Jesus coming back and doing it all. The Bible is not written to those, it is written to people ardent about learning how to co King....but not this time in the manner of gentile rulers, but in true spiritual authority that comes from an indestructible LIFE.

THIS difference in attitude and belief is one huge reason churches are not going anywhere, and certainly not extending the rule of the Son in their localities.

The paragraph in bold is where we began about a week ago, and there was quite a big thread posted by a handful of names.The first issue is who said there is a human leader over a church? As the Presbyterians rediscovered....it's errrr.....a presbytery of elders stupid!!!!
Secondly, and way after the Presbyterians, the outpouring of the Spirit in Wales and Azusa street showed the new pattern of leader in the Spirit, Evan Roberts with his face to the floor and William Seymour with a box over his head!!!   I could paste the whole of the thread but today I wrote a direct answer to Paul Noble's question.   Then posted more on the foundations of thirdlevel church.



According to my Bible if you can point to the leader of your church you are not going to Church

1. The Bible does not say and God appointed a (CEO) or pastor. There is nothing to indicate a shepherd as a governing authority. Prove me wrong or read Corinthian Elders by Jack Fortenberry which is quicker.
2. Jesus is the Head over the Body. If you are reverting back to a chief rabbi you are in the Old Covenant and have a synagogue.
3 and God appointed elders.....plural. These are the governing instrument but in the Spirit even this needs defining. God sent out people in twos because two is the smallest number of church.....of Kingdom....of I Am Presence scanned across humans and manifestly so. The independent self operates in lists and the Tree of Knowledge , 2 is the smallest divisible unit to demonstrate the flow of the Spirit convincingly.
4. The New Covenant is very clear. If you have obeyed the things Jesus commanded you have repented, been submerged in water to tell your body your spirit has died and been raised and announced your signing of the New Covenant to principalities and powers who are extremely legal, then finally been filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit. From the least, the first day born again, to the greatest you do not need to preach like in the Old Covenant, know the Lord, for you have all experienced Him and know Him
5.What are elders and what are they for?
What are they?
As saints gather and Jesus is there in the midst, they are manifestly in authority in the Spirit in that place. Consistently spiritual and recognised by all as such for bringing Word and keeping meetings flowing in the Melchizedek order they facilitate the rapid and accelerating growth of all alongside them.
What are they for? In a thirdlevel context of father ministries 1 John 2 Ed Miller who was one, described their role as a taxi driver to the throne of God. Once there they deposit their passengers and drive away. What Jesus does in their relationship with them at the Throne is none of their business. He is the Bridegroom and we are the Bride.
6. This form of psalm 123 gathering.....looking unto Jesus for the agenda of each gathering IS thirdlevel or normal church in the Spirit. Everything else is Old Covenant or far worse....pagan spirituality.
7. Unlike the current mess in churches remember the Jews have always celebrated Feast of Tabernacles and the booths were always a graphic illustration lost on our Roman paganism forms in the west. The booths were constructed with no ceiling. Because God is our ceiling. God is our Bridegroom. This is not new doctrine.....it is everybody on the planet who is wrong in how they do church .






What makes a thirdlevel church is either or both of two things.......revival Presence with very little need for human input......or the presence of one or like Acts 2, 12 thirdlevellers.....or father level saints/ believers as in 1 John 2 who can take you through to the Throne of God and leave you there. Either way there is very little need for sustained human input and the Holy Spirit runs the agenda of the meeting.





Acts 2 was the blueprint for church. It IS our foundation in the Spirit. The Government is upon His shoulders. Jesus is in heaven and He is the Head. Where are the shoulders? They get a mention in the Old Testament tabernacle instructions. The priests carry the Ark. We the church are priests. We carry the LIVE Presence of the I Am. This is the Government of God in the Earth. It is hermetically sealed. We enter into this government actively only by rising in the Spirit or being caught or raptured up in the Spirit to the very Throneroom of God. This is the new norm in the New Covenant when we gather.
1. Acts 2 was preceded by 120 in a room praying. All our gatherings are to be preceded by walking and praying as new Spirit born people. We are inducted into this priesthood, into Galatians 2.20 consciousness and the laying down of our bodies as the vehicle for it....Romans 12.1-2.
2. Acts 2 is repeatable see Acts 4. See the opening of the prison doors for.Paul and Silas.as they rose in the Spirit in song.
3. The preaching of Acts 2 is our foundation Word to all subsequent preaching. It makes it clear we are a new order of Joel 2 priesthood. It makes it clear that Holy Spirit manifestation and flow is the new norm. Even the confusion of drunkenness so.early in the day. But also the second seal of Timothy in the preaching......no holding back at all.....But now people.realise their new Spirit foundation their new Spirit identity how much are they hit when Peter preaches this Jesus whom you crucified.......has God raised.......
4 This is real church and is about legislation in the heavenly places and redrawing the lines of attack according to the hosts of.wickedness in psalm 2. The thirdlevel church of the Throne room enters into full on collision with things as they really are which absolutely is not the case in any of.our churches, which sit quite happily on the roadsides of every town and city and don't threaten anything.
5. There is only one Body in the thirdlevel church. There is the continuous overflow of.Agape in all the gatherings, believers sharing everything and continually in each other's houses.....for walking cleanly in repentance and joy to overflowing is safe.....and people.feel.enormously.safe with each other.





Everything God does is fresher newer and more improved. Every tabernacle area (and remember it's the heavenly one that is being rolled out see Hebrews) gets better and better. The outer courts of the Jewish believing was completely superseded by the Holy place type of believing Jesus was instituting mostly outside the synagogue system. It was better at every level.People genuinely got healed and delivered supernaturally and at least Jesus could lay some initial foundations of the thirdlevel or His union teaching. Remember the teaching and revelation come.first long before the manifestation.
But here we are 2000 years later and the Holy Spirit is now insisting on the BEST wine yet. The Rivers of Water pouring out of mature Spirit believers which He announced at the third feast....The mature feast......The feast of Tabernacles in John 7. Everything goes.from glory to glory. The cost and price tag may always rise.....But God's new things are always brilliant. And they always completely.supersede and fill out what has gone before. The glory of the latter house shall far supercede that of the former.

How many of you evangelicals and former now blown out Charismatics have considered this? Are you not now terrified of the Holy Spirit for this simple reason? Like the first time that Jesus directed where the fishermen should put their nets.....it was a rugby scrum. It was a free for all. It was dangerous. The nets broke and they lost loads and loads.of fish. Now.compare that to three and half years later when Jesus did the same with now broken men. They all.worked together, no nets were broken and they pulled in ALL the fish. So what was different? The same Holy Spirit directing? So what changed? Father level disciples walking in brokenness......not building their own thing. See 1 John 2. The reason why you are scared of the Holy Spirit is because in the last Move there were no father level people. It was a free for all with pyramid apostles and pyramid pastors......The whole thing was a mess......But Jesus had to begin somewhere just as He did in the gospels.

Chris Welch It's like getting a new shopping bag. If you carry shopping home in a paper one, you can maybe use it once. But if you have a great bag you can bring all the shopping you want home. Thirdlevel stuff just works at hundredfold capacity, just as planting a proper apple seed grown to a huge apple tree with not just hundredfold return....maybe 200 or 500!!!

The SEED is the same Jesus....but if we shortcircuit Him, we don't get the 100fold results.




"The Government is upon His shoulders" is one of the most key phrases in the world.
Catholics have a carnal understanding of it which goes like this:
Unlike Talmud believing Jews who believe everything according to blood lineage with Abraham....though how the Ashkenazys strain this one, beats me...?(They arent related at all and they dont particularly want you to know)
Catholics adopt the same carnal belief pattern for some kind of unbroken line of succession from Peter the one who Jesus granted the keys to the Kingdom. The context for Peter's confession is conveniently forgotten.
Jesus spoke "Upon this Rock" I will build my church....YES upon Peter whose name means rock....Spirit pun you see.....but upon the fact that Peter had recognised God in the flesh in Jesus.
Isaiah 53.2 states He has no stately form or majesty
That we should look upon Him,
Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.
Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my Father in heaven, Jesus said...kind of marvelling.
This is the ROCK...the rock of revelation...that is the machinery God uses to layer the brick courses of "the Bride which comes down from heaven".
This is the ROCK....not the disastrous Catholic line of succession of somebody being touched on the shoulder with a pole.
WORD does pass from mature Spirit people down through the generations.
But, as is true of all outer forms of Kingdom....IT JUST ISN'T LO HERE OR LO THERE....it is NEAR us even in our own confession from our mouths.
You can trace a Spirit line on my blog (lefthand side) from Hudson Taylor in an unbroken line down to all the people on the internet who grab what Norman Grubb was sharing. The internet is currently the odd shaped wineskin, or the manger in the stable at the back of the inn, that God is using to bring in the thirdlevel revelation of Christ in us the hope of glory. Really Steve Mc Vey, Paul Anderson Walsh, Daniel Yordy, and countless others are all unpacking this sentence....how it works and what it means.
Catholics understand that the government is here and now, but they have transposed the succession of Kings, to the same sort of carnal government of things that are really in the Spirit.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THE KINGDOM IS AT ONE REMOVE. It just isn't nor ever was LO HERE OR LO THERE in Jerusalem or Rome.
It's a heavenly order.
It's an order of the heart.
The bottom of the Jacob ladder can be held for a moment by the Fountain Trust,by the London brothers of the housechurch movement in early 70s London, by the Fort Lauderdale brothers before they started competing with the Pope for temporal powers....
But only while hearts are right.
Psalm 84 is the how lovely is your dwelling place psalm....well if you nolonger feel that way and become distant in your heart....Jacob's Ladder is nolonger secured where your feet meet the floor!!!!
The psalm puts it this way....
Blessed are the men whose strength is in thee, in whose hearts aret the highways to Zion.....
Now what's the manifestation of the government of God?
Is it as the Catholics say....wherever a person gives a tithe so we can run our earthly attempt at doing God's work for Him in the Vatican City???
Or is it as the psalm in fact says....describing thirdlevel operations of intercession.....
Passing through the valley of ]Baca/ weeping they make it a]spring;
The early rain also covers it with blessings.
7 They go from strength to strength,
[f]Every one of them appears before God in Zion.
Our involvement in the Government of God as priests is in the loosing and binding that we are doing in the earth according to Psalm 123......seeing what our Master is doing next.
It's not just simply housing every single homeless person....Salvation Army have tried that....nor is it NOT doing so. The general heart of Isaiah 58 is still so......but everything is at one remove as our kindly hospitable service to others, heart on their sleeve brethren quickly show and reach burn out.
We are not fighting flesh and blood.
We could learn everything about the Illuminati. Incarcerate all the key heads of the the 13 main dynasties running the planet. Lock up the council of 300. Try to ban all freemasons and upper esoteric orders.......
But without exercising our own Holy Spirit rights to enter the throne room, and come before our Father ourselves, and let Him unravel all the connections to the MATRIX that are hooked into us....(Deliever us from evil) then we cannot exercise our Spirit governance to sit with Jesus on the throne and bind or loose things in the heavenlies or on earth....
and just as quick Satan will raise another 13 dynasties to take the place of the Family line that date back to Babel, and have been virtually writing history ever since.


When the apostle wrote we are a nation of kings and priests God wasn't joking. Just cos evangelicals, denominationals and charismatics don't have a clue about what that means, because in the words of Paul to Corinthians, these brothers don't even "king in their area yet"......doesn't stop the thirdlevel church from pressing into the full meaning.

The True Meaning of the Poles

Right at what was to be the end of Lakeland ,Florida Revival in 2008, I wrote down a kind of Spirit snapshot expression of what I saw in the form of a parable. God's Builders have been supplied with 3 pallets of materials. For the first time in modern history the third pallet came peeping into view....and then the revival, as we know crashed. I talk about Zerubbabel group in particular because this had been Norman Grubb's last intercession on behalf of the whole church. But in 2008 Zerubbabel didn't even know the revival was going on. So for me, one of the greatest of ironies in recent history is that God was beginning to open up the whole realm that Zerubbabel had been called to share....but they weren't party to it, because hardly any have been baptised in the Spirit, so simply don't relate with the rest of the Spirit filled church. In the parable I relate the Old testament concepts of David's New Cart and the God ordained gilt poles that the Old Testament priests carried the Ark of the Covenant with.

Now the issue of the poles is this....
They are as if glued to the shoulders of the priests. So that means where the priests walk, there the Ark goes. God had some amazing problems in dramatizing the thirdlevel truths of the gospel in Old Testament format.That's why sending Jesus was such a good idea.He could model the whole thing from start to finish.
  HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY get across Jesus living His life in our forms as us according to John chapter 17 when people are still only thinking in religious terms? 

The Old Testament describes automated religion in 2 Samuel 6 as David and his "new cart". 

It's all automated. It's all done for you. At no point do you come into contact with it. It's NOT your flesh and blood walk. Well POLES is pretty good. It's an improvement.Because you are not going anywhere without the Ark. You are attached. You are committed. You are also attached to the other priests. None of you are going anywhere without each other and the glory of God. 

Now Benny Hinn and Morris Cerullo's generation describe the poles as intercession and prayer, and by that they mean long hours rattling off in tongues, and often into the night, and possibly with fasting. This is the secondlevel or "young man "view of intercession.

POLES mean more than this. Jesus didn't come to give us meetings, He came to give us His life. Actually if you want to know the truth of it, the REAL TRUTH...there is no other life in the Universe. Real Life is God going on. 

Poles break down as an image because they are still outside us, still separate from us. Jesus Life on the other hand has no gaps. He came in fused to our new spirit WITHOUT GAPS. Who we really are. Where our Life source, our life itself originates is our spirit. but as Daniel Yordy, Fred Pruitt,Nancy Gilmore, and so many more share....our humanity, is piecemeal with it. The "old think" that is still Genesis 3 that still fills the charismatic churches, is that we are self-powered souls that are trying to correct themselves. But according to the revelation of the Bible that whole way of thinking is a delusion. It represents more or less a whole worldwide church still mired in the lie of Genesis 3. 

So no, the poles DON'T represent a certain amount of hours of prayer to charge up our batteries sufficiently that Benny Hinn can go on a podium and perform miracles like a pentecostal showman.
The Bible Truth is that our intercession is coming out of One Man who lives our Life fulltime. There's no getting away from this POLE. And that is the truth of the third pallet. We are carrying His intercessions inside His faith whenever and for however long He is burdening us with them. They don't start at the beginning of meetings and they don't end at the end of meetings. This is the New Priesthood which Fred Pruitt was writing about. "As He is in the world, so are we."

 Like Jesus in John 6, the gospel we preach is about eating His very Body and drinking His blood. He becomes us by Word and by Spirit. There's no walking away. There's no mid measure as Paul Noble and others want to say..."Oh Jesus is in us?" Well what does that mean? For 40 years charismatics have been saying " Jesus is in us." In Havant Church they believe Jesus is another pea in their pod sharing the space in their bodies with the old man. It gets very crowded in Havant Church. Everybody is walking around with twice as many people inside them!!

This is not what is meant by the gilt-covered poles. The NEW CART church, like David's first attempts at wheeling the glory of God to its resting place, is a Church of separation. God over there. Me over here. The true priesthood however were carrying the Ark on poles, pressed to their bodies. This is the meaning of Jesus as us.

Fundamental Teachings on the Priesthood and the Functioning of the Corporate Christ by Gary Sigler

I believe these series of messages on The Corporate Christ will be a great help to those who are beginning to seek more than traditional, fundamental religious teachings and want to have a greater understanding of their own spiritual being. We ended up last time sharing about the mystery of God, and the mystery of the Father. And so now we are going to continue with the mystery of Christ, which is the church. Today when you use the word, "church", there are so many different concepts that come into people's minds. For instance, if you say, "church" today, many people will think about Pentecostal church, Lutheran church, or perhaps a Mormon church. There are so many different concepts that religion has given us just with the word "church". What is being called "the church" today is really not the church at all. The church is not a building on a corner. In the church I was raised in, When I was a small child before the service began the first thing our pastor would say is, "The Lord is in His holy temple." Let all the earth keep silence before Him. We thought that the building was the church. Well that is a carry-over from the Old Testament concept of God abiding in a tabernacle or in a tent. But a building anywhere is not the church. The church is not necessarily a bunch of people who gather together to learn about God. That is more the classroom. And it's a good thing to learn about God, but you know what? That is not the church. All of the forms, the baptisms, the sacraments, the rituals, the prayers, the techniques of the meetings, the listening to sermons and all of the paraphernalia that goes with what we call, "church" are really not the church. What we are seeing today for the most part, whether it be Baptist or Pentecostal or Lutheran or Holiness or Four Square; most of what we see today with our physical eyes is not the church. What we are seeing is written about in the book of Revelation and it is called it's called, "Mystery Babylon". Babylon means, "Confusion". I don't believe that you will find a more confused people on the earth today than God's people who are scattered throughout all the different denominations, all the different sects, and in all the different home groups. There is so much confusion, because every little group has their set of doctrines, has their set of believes. In fact in most churches you can find their statement of beliefs. And in their statement of beliefs you will find out what they believe. And they will disagree with another church's statement of beliefs that is different from their statement of beliefs. In a religious system you are not free to believe what you want. You must agree with their statement of faith or you will soon be shown the door out. There are times when people who first get on my Website and do some reading and maybe listening to some audios, they will write to me and ask "What is your statement of beliefs? or What is your statement of faith?" I would never put a statement of my faith on anything. But what I tell people is this: "I believe that God is the Father of all humanity. I believe that you do not have to believe like I believe for us to have intimate fellowship together. That is pretty much the basis of my statement of faith. God loves you. I recognize that the spirit of God is in you, and therefore that is the basis of our fellowship, not on our intellectual belief-systems, but our fellowship is based on Christ in you." Anything that does not come out of Christ is not the church. What we are seeing today with our physical eyes and calling it the Church is what Revelation calls, "Mystery Babylon - You see Mystery Babylon, this woman who portrays herself as the church that is so divided, so sectarian, and  in many cases hateful and mean, is what Revelation is calling, "Mystery Babylon, the great Harlot".   "And the woman is arrayed in purple and scarlet color and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication."  Well, there is a real Mystery here also.  There are precious people of God in this Mystery Babylon, and they are there because of ignorance.  They are there because at the present time they do not know any better.  At the present time, they believe that the church, the system, the building, the statement of faith; they believe that that is the church.  Mystery Babylon was decked with gold, precious stones and pearls.  Gold always represents God and the divine life.  So people in this Mystery Babylon truly have divine life.  Precious stones in the Bible represent transformation.  So there are many of God's people in this Babylonian system that truly have divine life, and they have some transformation in their lives.  "Upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."   Where did this Mother of Harlots come from?  Well, we know in recorded history that the church went through a period of what is called, "the dark ages".   That is when the Mother of Harlots came forth.  That is when the Catholic religion ruled the earth for 1,000 years.  And that was the beginning of Mystery Babylon the Great Harlot.  This great Harlot it says is the Mother of Harlots.  So the mother has many daughters.   If anyone would take the time to really study church history you'd find out that the daughters of the harlot have all come out of the harlot church.  But they've all formed their own separate identities, their own doctrines and their own divisions and denominations.  But never the less they all came out of the mother.  "And I saw that the woman was drunken with the blood of the saints."  Again, for a 1,000 years the Catholic religion butchered and murdered and burned at the stake untold amounts/numbers of people who would disagree with her ruler-ship and her doctrines.  So the woman was drunken with the blood of saints, with the blood of the martyrs.  We've all heard of the martyrs that were burned at the stake and killed for their confession of Christ.  I write this not to condemn anyone or make anyone feel guilty. I am not saying that the Catholics are evil. They have had leaders that have deceived them. Most of us have been in some form of the religious system. Most of us still have some of the religious thinking in us. Thank God our consciousness is being raised above the dust of human religious thinking.  We are beginning to realize we have all come from the same source of all life. He is the vine and we are the branches. The branch has the same life source as the vine and is an extension of the vine. In Revelation 18:1-4, "After these things I saw another angel come down from Heaven having great power, and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen; she has become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her." Who are the kings of the earth? Well, we all know that in reality in our spiritual being, God's people are the kings of the earth. But because of being trapped in this religious system, "The kings, (God's people) of the earth, have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies." What has been a concern of mine for many years is the merchandising of religion, of merchandising the anointing. I can't tell you how many times I used to watch religious television, and I would hear a man come out and tell you the wonderful revelation that he'd just received of God, and how this revelation has changed his life, and how every person needs to have this revelation. "And if you would like this revelation, for $29.95 or $39.95 you can get this set of tapes and hear what God has revealed to me.." This is what I believe that Revelation is talking about here, the merchandising of the anointing. This is just my personal opinion and I do not condemn anyone for selling material. I purchase spiritual books all the time. I know this is very, very difficult for most to understand. But you know, when God calls us, and when God commissions us, God supplies us with every need that we have. Now I know from personal experience that to minister, even in a small way that it costs a lot of money. I realize the expense that is involved in ministry. We have discovered that whatever God commissions you to do, God will supply the need for you to do that. And if God does not supply the need for you to do that, perhaps you don't need to do it. So "all the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from Heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues." A lot could be said about this Mystery Babylon, but it's just enough to know that Babylon is a confusion that God's people need to be aware of, and to come out of that ungodly system of dividing yourself from others. Once you have a revelation of what the church is, you can then fellowship with all believers. You can go into a Catholic church; you can go into a Lutheran church; you can go into a Baptist church and you can fellowship. If you know the truth of your being, and the being of those you are fellowshipping with, you will not be trapped by the religious bondage that may be in the place where you are fellowshipping. The church is not a building, it is not a denomination, it is not a set of rules and regulations, it's not a set of by-laws, it is not a set of commandments; but the church is simply the corporate Christ on the earth. The church is Christ, and anything that is not Christ is definitely not the church. Paul talks to the Corinthians about the divisions and about the separation that is even amongst the Corinthians at that time. God's people for the most part, have not seen that they are the Corporate Christ on the earth. So the church right today is still in the place where the Corinthians were; and what Paul spoke to the Corinthians needs to be spoken to every denomination and every sect that is in the world today. 1st Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 5 - Now remember he is speaking this to a divided church, and he says, "In everything you are enriched by Him, in all utterance, in all knowledge - - - and that you come behind in no gift." Now think of that. In those days the Corinthians church was enriched in all utterance. They could speak of divine things. They had all knowledge, and they came behind in no spiritual gift. Then he tells them in 1st Corinthians chapter 3 beginning in verse 1, "Brethren, I could not speak to you as spiritual, but as carnal, even as babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for you were not able to bear it, yet neither now are you able. For you are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are you not carnal?" Today, we can say, "I am a Baptist or another say I am pentecostal." What does that mean? It means that you are in a box called, "Baptist" or Pentecostal, and you have a set of beliefs, and you have a system of theology that you will only really have fellowship with those who believe like you do. if you are a traditional Pentecostal, you will look down on the Baptist because the Baptist believes that speaking in tongues is of the devil. So you certainly won't fellowship with the Baptist. However if you realize that we all are sons and daughters of God you might not agree in doctrine but you can still have sweet fellowship together. Paul asks the Corinthians “Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you, or were you baptized in the name of Paul?" How could we all, as Paul tells us here, how could we all be in the same mind and the same judgment? This can only be possible as we learn to live in the spirit, as we have the mind of Christ formed in our being, because in reality there is only one mind, and that is the mind of Christ. Once we go through the death of the carnal mind - and this is not just something we do as a one-time thing, but dying to the carnal mind is a process, and can be a very long process, but the more that Christ is formed in us, the more that the carnal mind is put to death. Then Paul tells us not only to be in the same mind, but in the same judgment. To be in the same judgment takes place as we have the revelation of judgment, and realize that all men were judged at the cross. Paul says in Ephesians, "Even when we were dead in trespasses and sins, we have been raised up together and seated together in Heavenly places in Christ." At Calvary, according to scriptures, every man was put to death because we realize that the death of Jesus was our death. When He died, we died. When he was resurrected, we were resurrected. We are resurrected and seated with Him in Heavenly places. To be in the same judgment is to recognize that all of creation was judged at the cross. We also realize that judgment is to make right that which is wrong. Hebrews 9:27-28 says this: "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and to them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin." Hallelujah! I realize that many Christians believe that when He appears the second time, He will come in the clouds of glory, but I want you to know that He is appearing in His people today. He is coming forth in our consciousness. And as He comes forth and is resurrected within this body temple of ours, He comes to us without sin unto salvation. There is no sin in our spiritual being. There is no disobedience in our true spiritual nature. So we realize to be in the same judgment is to realize that all men were judged at the cross. As we judge them, we judge them dead in Christ and realize that the true nature of their being is Christ, the anointed of God. So again, the church is not a building on the corner. The church is not a set of belief systems. But the church is literally Christ on this earth. Paul says in Ephesians chapter 4 beginning at verse 4, "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling. There is one Lord. There is one faith. There is one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Oh how we need a broader and a deeper vision of this oneness to realize there is only one body. Baptists, do you realize; Pentecostals, do you realize; Catholics, do you realize there is only one body on the earth? And it is not a belief system, it is not a set of doctrines, it's not a statement of faith. There is one body on the earth, and that body is Christ in you! Hallelujah! That is the body, CHRIST IN YOU. There is only one spirit. There is not a Pentecostal spirit; there is not a Baptist spirit. There is just one spirit on the earth, even as you are called in one hope, one Lord, one faith. There is only one faith. The Pentecostal faith is not necessarily the faith. The Baptist faith is called that, but that is not the faith! A set of belief systems, and intellectual knowledge of God is not faith! There is only one faith on the earth. And that faith grows in you as the fruit of the spirit as you seek God, commune with God, begin to seek God for a deeper, richer, fuller awakening of the reality of His life in you, and you begin to operate then and function out of one faith. Most important of all, we must realize there is only one God and He is the Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. That is the Corporate Christ. When we realize and have the experience of Christ living in us, Christ living through us and realize that He is the life substance of all men; that is being the church. That church is also a kingdom of Priests. The religious system we see today is certainly not a kingdom of Priests. In today's system of religion, if you want to be a priest you can go to a particular college whether it be Oral Roberts University, Rhema Bible Institute or you can go to a Lutheran Seminary or to any Bible school and you will learn all the intellectual denominational teachings; you will learn the by-laws; you will be taught how to present the gospel; you will be taught how to preach. And after you finish your Bible courses and you graduate from the Bible school, you can then go and become a pastor of a church. I'm reminded of what William Law said in his address to the clergy in 1761. He said that it is nonsense to think that you can go to school to learn how to put off Adam and put on Christ. You cannot possibly learn by going to Bible school. Well, you can learn how to be a religious pastor or a religious priest, but you cannot become a priest according to God's concept by just learning a bunch of intellectual knowledge and how to administrate the things of God. In the religious systems of today we do not have a Kingdom of priests; we have senior pastors and associate pastors. We have church boards that can govern the pastor, but we do not have a Kingdom of priests. A true priest is one who is saturated and permeated with the Spirit of Christ. A priest is one who speaks from the spirit to the spirit, speaks from his spirit or her spirit to the spirits of those they are ministering to. It is not a matter of teaching a bunch of intellectual doctrinal truths, but it a matter of giving life, of awakening in others the Spirit of Christ. A priest will always bring forth and awaken the Spirit of Christ in those to whom he is ministering. That is a true priest. A priest is not one who just works for God. The religious system will always try to get you into the workings of the gospel. I'll never forget when I was first saved I was such an introvert. I was literally petrified to even talk amongst a bunch of people. However I was taught after I was regenerated and came to God, that I had to go and witness. In our church at that time - I went into a Pentecostal church, and they taught people to go out on the street and preach the gospel. I could not do that! I couldn't even go out and talk to strangers about anything. But to tell me I had to go out and preach the gospel; there was no way I could do that, but I was told if I didn't do that, that if I was ashamed of Christ, then He was going to be ashamed of me before the Father in Heaven. That is no way to minister to someone who is hurting, someone who is so withdrawn like I was, to tell them that they must go out and witness or God will not be happy with them. A priest is not one who works for God. A priest is one who daily, moment by moment, soaks up the presence of God. A priest is not one who teaches people to work for God, but a priest is one who builds them up in the faith. A priest is one who encourages them. A priest is one who tells them, "Look. Today you may not be able to face people and preach the gospel, but let me tell you brother; you have something in you that is so precious. You have the Spirit of Christ within you. And all you need to do is learn to fellowship and build a relationship with your Father. Learn that the preciousness that you have within you, and as Christ begins to grow within you, as Christ begins to form in you, as the Spirit of the living God begins to rise up in you, you will be a witness, and you may never say a word, but your very life will be a witness." That is a priest. To be continued Visit Sigler Ministries at: http://siglerministries.org/?xg_source=msg_mes_network To control which emails you receive on Sigler Ministries, click here A priest ministers life, and not doctrine and teaching.  I don't want to be misunderstood here, because doctrine and teaching can be wonderful.  But the doctrine and the teachings should never divide us from other believers that believe differently, or see things differently, or have a different understanding.  We are all at different levels or a different awareness; we are all at different states of consciousness.  And what we believe today can change tomorrow.  It is never a matter of intellectual beliefs.  It is what we know to be the truth.  It is what God has revealed to us by His Spirit, and not what we've learned through the natural carnal teachings and understandings.  The church, as Christ on the earth, has a complete awareness and understanding of God's heart and His purposes on the earth.  Paul says in Ephesians chapter 1 and verse 22, "God hath put all things under His, (Christ's) feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills all in all."  I like the Amplified Bible's translation of this verse.  It says, "He hath given Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything, everywhere, with Himself."  The church is the fullness of Him who fills everything, everywhere, with Himself.  A priest is one who has the unveiling of Christ within them,  then as the unveiling of Christ within us takes place we begin to minister first to our soul, and then to those around us.  And when I say, "minister to the soul", I mean we need to begin as we learn to operate and speak from the spirit, as we understand that we are standing in the Most Holy Place inside this body temple, in the deepest recesses of our being, that we are literally a priest of the living God.  As we come into that awareness and that conscious understanding of being a priest, we begin to speak and minister to our soul. David said in Ps 43:5 “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Be glad and rejoice oh my soul.  Lift up your eyes and see the glory of God.”  We minister life to our soul from our spirit.  And as we begin to speak life and blessings to our soul, we will find that the carnality in us will begin to die.  "Let God arise and His enemies be scattered."  As the living Christ begins to arise and awaken within us, all the enemies of our soul will be scattered.  All of your bitterness and all of your hatred and all of your divisiveness and all of your anger; everything in that soulish realm will begin to dissipate and begin to fall at your feet as the living Christ begins to arise within you.  Speak the truth to your being and don't let your tongue speak of those things that are not true.  You are not a sinner.  You are not unrighteous.  You are the righteousness of God.  You are the holiness of God.  You are the magnificence of God.  You are the expression of God in this temple, in your temple on the earth.  So a priest is not one who works for God.  A priest is one who serves God.  A priest is one who serves God to others.  A priest is one who has an outward flow of an inward life.  "The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death."  As you begin to minister and flow from the life that is within you great change will take place.  We must be filled with Him in our souls for the strength and the ability to walk and to minister according to godliness. FOT10 A Change of Priesthood - The Feast of Pentecost

1 Peter 2: ^9-10But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God's instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.
^11-12Friends, this world is not your home, so don't make yourselves cozy in it. Don't indulge your ego at the expense of your soul. Live an exemplary life among the natives so that your actions will refute their prejudices. Then they'll be won over to God's side and be there to join in the celebration when he arrives. The Message
⁹and ye [are] a choice race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired, that the excellences ye may shew forth of Him who out of darkness did call you to His wondrous light;

Up until now you have a certain image of yourself.
You've been convicted in various ways about your need for God. He has come into your life in an amazing way.Maybe you have begun sharing about your newfound faith.
In some ways there have been both internal and external changes going on, but broadly
you are carrying on

• thinking about your self and who you are much the same,

• it's just that there has been this added dimension to your life of faith that you didn't really know existed before.
  

Then Jesus interrupts your existence with yet more incredible truths....
Though you have always thought of yourself as a soul, and that is all,
it turns out you are primarily a spirit being with a soul and personality, inside the mechanics of a body.
There are things about you ,you a) didn't know at all from your secular environment or b) have learned wrongly in environments that do make use of the supernatural, like witchcraft, voodoo, horoscopes,ouija boards,tarot readings etc etc or wrong religions. Or more recently have been referred to as strong psychic or soul powers.

Romans 8:

²⁶( In the same way, )the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. ²⁷ And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.NIV
- the Spirit doth help our weaknesses; for, what we may pray for, as it behoveth [us], we have not known, but the Spirit himself doth make intercession for us with groanings unutterable,....Youngs Literal Translation
The first churches in the New Testament were not like today's churches. They were formed with leadership coming from men who knew they had "died" and their new identity was in Christ. They knew , in the case of the 12 apostles when the Holy Spirit was breathed into them by Jesus in the upper room, and when the Holy Spirit had been fully released upon them in the baptism of the Holy Spirit that occurred in Acts 2. St Paul had a combined experience when at his conversion he had hands laid on him. There was ONLY this type of supernatural Christianity. Now many today claim supernatural Christianity, but there are many leaders who know little of the sort of Spirit and Word training the apostles had with Jesus for 3 years. And yet THIS is the PRECISE task and office that the Holy Spirit is commissioned to do. The devil's work has been to both blind us to this , so we end up blocking it, or if we do actually experience a kind of Baptism in the Holy Spirit, it is laid on top of a poor spiritual foundation, which effectively denies that "we have died, and it is not us who now live, but Christ (FUSED AS ONE) with our spirit, our old man having completely died at the Cross."
This denial is what Jesus referred to as building ON SAND, and not ON ROCK.

The Feast of Pentecost and the Inundation of the Holy Spirit's power, the clothing of His Power, GOD ON FLESH, is God empowering us to function as priests, as a priesthood nation. It is Christ the Anointed One.Christ means Anointing.
When Christ ascended on high to sit at the right hand of God the Father and there to rule and reign UNTIL He made all His enemies His footstool, He was anointed by the Holy Spirit to do so.His High Priesthood as it is now is described in the later chapters of Hebrews using the term the Melchizedek Order.

Now the reason we have had to retrace our steps as the Body of Christ to celebrate again the Waving of the Sheaf of Firstfuits, is so that the Holy Spirit could further lead us into ALL TRUTH. He had to put the whole movement across the Earth on a better footing. As the Pillars were again being exported from the Heavenly Building Supply Depot for the work ahead during all the 1900s, they were unfortunately being driven into sandy soil. The Holy Spirit Contractor was insisting that BUILDING ON SAND is not going to work, and so has spent the last years since the Word of Faith Movement, creating an extreme dissatisfaction in the saints, nay nausea.... characterised in people like myself withdrawing from the initial glory we had experienced as the people of God. In more recent years this has been characterised also by Darin Hufford and Daniel and Heidi Venie.

ALL OF US ARE TO BE BUILDERS ON ROCK. Our building process is OUR spoken confession of what we SEE internally by revelation in what Christ has already performed for us.

The Anointing Oil of Pentecost is Jesus Anointing Oil at the Righthand of the Father. Except that He is the Head of the Body, and the oil starts at the Head and trickles down "the collar of His robes Ps133" down the rest of His Body which is Us.

Please dont think YOU have to struggle and strive and screw up your eyes and faith to get anointed as a SEPARATE BEING. No wonder you've had problems struggling and striving. Our Life is Hidden in Christ.
The Anointing you will receive comes because it's been tipped all over Jesus Head.
When Jesus was raised from the dead the Spirit quickened LIFE in His Body and it was raised a NEW BODY that could walk through walls. But, as we , the whole human race DIED with Him spiritually on Golgotha, our spirits lay dead in Hades with Him. The Holy Spirit quickened us IN HIM, and raised us to a position at the right hand of God the Father in Him. Baptism in the Spirit occurs because it was and is the Anointing oil of the Melchisedek Priesthood, which now being IN CHRIST we share. The task of ruling and reigning as priests. Christ's present mission of bringing everything VISIBLY under His feet that He may present it to the Father, this whole operation, is based on the total victory Jesus won against the Devil , death and hell, and His having brought into existence a totally new priesthood to carry out His instructions and plan on earth.
Evangelicals' theology of Jesus returning to do the job for us had to be totally overturned by Ern Baxter, and other leading authorities in the Body like De Vern Fromke.
But Pentecostals and Charismatics had to be totally reducated WHY they are priests, where the Anointing Oil comes from, and WHOSE it is.

Baptised into Moses 1 Cor:10
¹ For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. ² They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. ³ They all ate the same spiritual food ⁴ and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. ⁵ Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.
This was the Old Testament equivalent experience of BEING BAPTISED into Christ.
I have to spell this out, for many believers have their own imagination of the phrase BAPTISED into Christ.
They think something akin to the Laver experience. The experience I have described above of our inclusion in Christ's death, which IS in fact the basis for all that follows.

The reason I am highlighting "baptised into Moses" is because this has a "jarring" effect on the limitations of the phrase of our "individual baptism into Christ.". Because what I am about to describe is relevant to THIS POST and not to the post about the Laver, or Francois DuToit's Mirror version of the Bible.
I believe "baptised into Moses" is a corporate experience the the Israelites had. They believed and obeyed completely by faith, the instructions of the I AM through this man Moses. The act of following him through the sea, being baptised LITERALLY into the corporate plan of God for His people, no holds barred, no turning back, following UNIQUELY the Pillar of Fire and Pillar of Cloud as a people, was to them a different kind of baptism. It has to do with Priesthood. It has to do with what Pentecost births in us.

We are BAPTISED not just into a Personal Christ. For this we didnt need the full on Power of the Holy Spirit's inundation. No, we need the full on HolySpirit Baptism to baptise us into the Corporate experience of BEING the Body of Christ here on earth. Of Being a co-race of Priests, who begin to operate IN and UNDER the Headship of the Son Now.
Before the Baptism in the Spirit, we had our own names. We were Baptists, Methodists,Anglicans,Free Believers. After the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we "see" only the Body of Christ. We see God stuff. We are never again interested in the externals, because , now seeing INTERNALS as clear as we see Xrays at hospital, we KNOW what is internal is going to become external anyway.

This is our entrance CORPORATELY into a new way of life. We actually enter the next stage of the Tabernacle, which is the Holy Place, there to function as priests. The manner of our meeting together changes completely OVERNIGHT. There is "no natural light" in the Holy Place. It is lit only by the candlestick. It is nolonger good ideas. Our planned structures. Our own vision and agenda. "Here a little , there a little, with stammering lips..." Christ puts together the whole vision , layer upon layer into our spirit.
After we are baptised in the Holy Spirit, God doesn't put us into some inferior Holy Place until we've passed our priest exams. We begin to function immediately in the REAL THING. This is also how it was for the disciples. Virtually from the word go they were sent out to ministry. To proclaim what they now believed. to get them used to ministry in the Spirit.
When we start, our experience is in ,out, and all over the place, but our Holy Spirit input is not inferior, it's just that we need to be ESTABLISHED in our priest walk. Our corporate experience together is that we have to maintain the Unity of the Spirit until we attain to the unity of the faith. This means there is a place where our faith grabs us, and won't put us down. It is an inner place where we are seeing God only in all things. We are seeing with a "single " eye. UNTIL we each get here, any permanent unity is hopeless and unmanageable, just as until the spokes of a wheel are all properly embedded between wheel rim and hub, that wheel is absolutely unusable....but once every spoke is in its proper position, strength and use come automatically to the whole wheel.
The Counterfeit
As if to prepare for this post, in the last few days we have been discussing the counterfeit priesthood as outlined in Frank Viola's 5th chapter of Pagan Christianity. This traces the history of where things went off track. The fake is entirely supported through tithes, but imposed from the top down as a kind of salary.
This malpractice supports a whole edifice of wrongdoing. It sets apart a whole human priesthood that has nothing to do with Spirit and Word as a basis. Living by faith from gifts , offerings, and even the work of our own hands is the Spirit way of running His work. Just as when we see the fields are white unto harvest we dont rush out and programme operations, but we pray to the Father who thrusts out workers....so doing things the right way financially puts the necessary spoke in the wheel to human endeavours to keep flesh from controlling the Spirit...or trying to do so.
It is the Holy Spirit who sets apart ministry. And ONLY in the context of every member ministry anyway.
Chapter Five, and also the whole of Jack Fortenberry's book "Corinthian Elders" explains clearly how
there is ONLY GRACE in God's work for doing things God's way.

One man church leadership, the false view that a pastor runs the show, is actually inviting demons in to crush the pastor personally under the burden of all the work he feels he must carry out, and it is inviting in demons of jealousy and malice among believers who are now excluded from doing anything other than overhead projection or loo cleaning, because of the pyramid structure, and their only means of getting on within is to topple the pastor, who was never given this role anyway by the Holy Spirit. In the local body are many pastors and teachers, and it is Jesus Christ who leads every church, as discerned by all the Body in the Spirit, and guided by mature believers who themselves by practice have trained their senses to discern good from evil.
Love and War

• Love. Our priesthood is not duty-based. A clue is God's First commandment. Deuteronomy 6 ^:4`Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God [is] one Jehovah;

⁵and thou hast loved Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might,Youngs Literal Translation

The experience of the Baptism in the Spirit releases the Spirit such that we learn how to approach God, to love on Him, to wait on Him, to delight ourselves in Him. One of the biggest single things the Holy Spirit loves to do in leading us into all Truth is to "take what is mine (Jesus speaking) and show or reveal it unto you." He shows the secrets of the Kingdom. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear,respect,give value to,reverence Him.
All this is wheels within wheels, and those wheels are LOVE. For the Spirit teaches His people according to the arc shape that is embedded in the Lord's Prayer itself, how we as a BODY enter the heavenly Tabernacle and go right through the Holy Place and into the Holiest Place. Free PDF of his book.So if the first work of the Spirit is to FORM the priest, the next work of the Spirit, and this begins at once, is to teach the priest how to function. How faith operates and how the weapons of Ephesians 6 are used. This is deepened later, but in microcosm, everything you will ever learn will in a real sense come out from these first experiences as a priest of the Most High.

• War. If worship comes alive as never before, almost the first thing after that is an immediate awareness of what we just never were able to see before. The devil is real and he is actively resisting the work and plans of God. As long as we were "locked" in our day to day form of thinking, and had not handed the "control" of our thought life , and the rest of our bodies and lives to God, as in Proverbs 3:5-12, so the Spirit of God was not allowed to release the whole of us into the sense of this New Heavenly Kingdom.
• The Holy Spirit "trains our hands for war". War in the Spirit. He teaches us to battle through on the basis of what God has spoken into our hearts as a promise and not what we "see with our eyes".

Every meeting.
Every day of our lives.
Like the puppet introduction, we literally have no idea of the power of our priesthood to be exercised in the Earth. Literally "Anything can happen in the next half hour!."
One of the biggest things God is speaking anew to His people is a new respect for the role of the priestly Body of Christ in the Earth...for if Christ cannot operate through His Body...
NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.... and history will extend. But we are told that WE CAN HASTEN HIS COMING. The Church literally has hardly any idea that the whole of history AWAITS THEM. One brother in Emsworth (Graham Kemp) put it....."If things don't change, they remain exactly the same!!!!"
Some examples I've lived through (yesterday on Facebook)
Even now there is an authority vested upon those who are really God's that is, frankly terrifying. I am not writing this, like i've got any power...God's power could just as easily be turned loose against Me if I wilfully choose. God says He raises up nations and puts down nations for the sake of His people whom He loves. In my lifetime this is what I have seen. I have seen Mother Basilea Schlink shake the living daylights out of Mao Tse Tung who was assembling his troops to conquer Europe. She did this in the Spirit. next thing we know Kissinger and Nixon are visiting Mao for a cuppa tea!. I have seen Polish Roman Catholic prayer groups in houses all over their country bring down the Iron Curtain without any bloodshed. I personally have been witness to The Yorkshire Ripper's whole operation being shut down suddenly and in an instant by the people of God. I have seen a father in my congregation give his bone marrow to his 12 year old with leukaemia, then 5 years later the healed son give it back to his Dad. The Dad only died eventually because of radiation therapy!!! a few years ago...neither died from leukaemia. They were on every channel in the world because no one anywhere had given bone marrow two ways. I have seen Tony Fitzgerald's wife about to die in a Brighton hospital commanded whole at 11am in an Emsworth meeting at the highpoint of anointing in worship, and at precisely 11am she was healed. I have seen the whole Body in Emsworth activated to bring healing to a member who spent all day every day paralysed on her back in a darkened room. I was given two breakthrough commands in meetings. But nothing happened for months.Another sister Norita was used by God to bring a lot of the practical breakthroughs...but all sorts of people had roles. The authority of Jesus upon His people is truly frightening, and people who play religion are putting their lives in such danger. God stuff is the most real stuff in the universe. One time we held praise meetings in a public hall in Emsworth, and the person I met years later said she could not hold her yoga classes in there the next day. I could write a book, well the whole church could....

CHAPTER 5 - FEAST OF PENTECOST

The Feast of Pentecost was the second of Israel's three annual Feasts. As the Scriptures reveal, the Feast is also called the Feast of Harvest, of Firstfruits, or of Weeks. Pentecost is the New Testament name, and is so called because Pentecost means "fiftieth." An examination of Lev. 23:15, 16 will reveal why the Feast is called Fiftieth. It was because the Feast began on the fiftieth day after the Passover sabbath, or "the morrow after the seventh sabbath." This, of course, parallels exactly with the fulfillment of the type in the New Testament. When Christ arose from the dead, He continued with the disciples for the space of forty days, "speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God." (Acts 1:3). Then He departed into Heaven, and after ten days (at the time of Israel's Feast of Pentecost), He sent forth the Holy Ghost upon the waiting disciples.

THIS IS THE AGE OF PENTECOST

Pentecost! What a vast subject looms before us as we contemplate the tremendous implications of the word! Many books have been written on the power and glory of this Feast, and men who have appropriated in some measure the experience of Pentecost have proved by the Word and by experience its reality, and the Word has been confirmed with signs following. We could not begin to adequately explain the meaning of the Feast in this study, nor is it our intention to do so. Our prime concern is to prepare to ground for truth concerning the Feast of Tabernacles, which surpasses the glory of Pentecost even as the noon-day surpasses the glory of early dawn. How strange, it seems, that good men of God who have discerned by the Spirit the fulfillment of Passover and Pentecost in the Church, should now close the door to further revelation and deny that the last Feast has any application to our day and age! At the turn of this century, when God began to restore pentecost--and right up to the present time, many evangelical circles have gone to considerable trouble in an attempt to prove that Pentecost was an event of ancient history, and that its power and glory were not for present-day experience. But a large group of hungry souls have proved by the Word and by experience that Pentecost was and is for personal appropriation by faith, just as the Passover was. Therefore let us not stop at the Passover; but let us go on to enjoy the fruits for which Christ died, even the glories of Pentecost. And let us not stop at this partial restoration of Pentecost, but let us go on to enjoy the fullness of the Pentecostal experience as recorded in the Book of Acts. And even then, let us not stop at the fullness of Pentecost, but let us go on to appropriate and experience the glories of the Feast of Tabernacles--for which Pentecost has paved the way.

Even among the saints who are hungering and thirsting for more of God there is a tendency to believe that a restoration of early apostolic Pentecost is the hope of the Church, and many will be satisfied with a return of apostolic power and blessing. True, we have a long way to go yet to equal the power and glory of the early Church; but that power and glory is by no means the sum and substance of genuine Christianity. That was Pentecost in the early hours of dawn; the Church must go on to the Pentecost of the noon-day sun; and then on, and on, and on to the Feast of Tabernacles, which will utterly eclipse the glory of any people in any past dispensation. Of course, we must enter into this glorious experience one step at a time. And we will certainly have to enter fully into the glory of Pentecost before we can hope to enter the glory of Tabernacles. Our generation has had a foretaste of Pentecost, that is true. But we have by no means seen the fullness of the Pentecostal experience, as recorded in the Book of Acts, when tongues like as of fire came down and sat upon each of the disciples, and they were given the ability to speak the languages of all nations.

But thank God, He is continuing the great work of restoration which He began in the days of Luther. The former foundations must be relaid, the gates re-established, and the walls of the Temple re-erected. "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept: line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear." (Isa. 28:10-12).

An examination of the passages concerning the typical Pentecost are most enlightening, especially in view of the real spiritual Pentecost in the New Testament. Having a historical record of the actual fulfillment of the Feast, it is comparatively easy for us to look back into the type, and see exactly what it was intended to signify.

PENTECOST WAS A NEW FEAST

"Ye shall offer a new meat (meal) offering unto the Lord." (Lev. 23:16). The Passover was wonderful--and an experimental appropriation of the Passover produces pardon and justification from all our sins. But that is really a negative experience: the old is taken away, sins are forgiven, the past life is forgotten, and the sinner is left with a clean record before God and ready to start a new life. In conformity with this happy state, therefore, the God of grace and glory invites the justified man to receive a new experience in the Holy Spirit, whereby he can offer a "new... offering unto the Lord." He is invited to drink into God's Spirit, and be baptized with the Holy Ghost. In justification he is pardoned; in this new experience he is empowered for service. The early disciples were cleansed by the Word which Jesus had spoken unto them during His earthly ministry. (Jn. 15:3). Furthermore, on resurrection day "He breathed on them, and saith unto them, receive ye the Holy Ghost." (Jn. 20:22). The original Greek of the word "receive ye" proves conclusively that right there and then the Spirit of God entered into the disciples--and that imparted life brought them into the experience which we call regeneration or new birth. Just as truly as God in the beginning breathed into Adam's nostrils the breath of life and man "became a living soul,"--so now the Last Adam (who had now become, by virtue of His death and resurrection, a "life-giving Spirit"--1 Cor. 15:45)--so now the Last Adam breathed into the disciples the breath of spiritual life, and they passed experimentally from death unto life.

This experience, however, was not sufficient by way of equipping them for the great and mighty tasks which lay just ahead of them; and so the Lord "commanded that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence." (Acts 1:4, 5). And so they tarried in Jerusalem for the "promise of the Father," and after ten days the Holy Ghost came down upon them, and literally revolutionized their whole concept of life and service by transforming weak and humble vessels into the mighty apostles of truth and power and authority.

PENTECOST WAS A HARVEST FEAST

In one instance it is called "the feast of harvest." (Ex. 23:16). It was so called because they had just completed the harvesting of their grain. The sheaf had already been waved before the Lord fifty days before, heralding the coming of the harvest; and now the harvest time had come. And what a tremendous harvest there was! Peter preached his dynamic sermon under the "dunamis," the "power" of the Holy Ghost, and some three thousand souls were added to the disciples. A few days later there was another harvest, and we are told "the number of the men was about five thousand." (Acts 4:4)--to say nothing of the hundreds or thousands of women and children who also must have believed at the same time. The revival continued with ever-increasing power from day to day, "And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women." (Acts 5:14). Great and mighty signs and miracles were wrought amongst the people, until--in very short order--Jerusalem, and then Samaria, and then the uttermost parts of the earth literally rocked under the mighty impact of the Holy Ghost through His anointed ministers. Truly the Day of Pentecost was a great Day... but the Day is not finished yet... that was but the dawning of the Day. We have yet to witness the noon-day splendour of the Feast of Pentecost.

PENTECOST SIGNIFIED THE FORMATION OF THE BODY

"Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the Lord." (Lev. 23:17). The loaves of bread would speak to us of God's people in union with Christ. "For we being many are one bread, and one body; for we are all partakers of that one bread." (1 Cor. 10:17). The number "two" is quite significant in that it refers to Christ in the fullness of His Body. It would be interesting to follow the meaning of the number "two" through the Scriptures. There is Adam and Eve, two and yet, one,--Eve being the complement, the likeness, the counterpart of Adam. Then there is the sun and moon--the latter being the glory of the former, having no light of its own. Then there were two rows of bread on the table of shewbread in the holy place of the tabernacle; and the two tables of stone in the ark of the covenant--the law written first on the heart and mind of the only begotten Son, and finally on the heart and mind of His people. Then there were the two trumpets that were used for the calling of the assembly and for the journeying of the camps. And so we read concerning Christ and His Body, that He died and rose again that He might "make in Himself of twain one new man." (Eph. 2:15).

Hence in the "two" loaves of this new meal-offering we have the completion of this new Body of believers known as the Church, wherein all the believers were "made... one" by the grace and Spirit of Christ. (Eph. 2:14). The grain had been harvested, and now instead of a sheaf we have two loaves, a body of believers. The loaves were "baked with leaven" because from the time of Pentecost right until now, the Church of Christ has never been really free from division, sectarianism, and carnality. How wonderful it is to know that God knew exactly what the Church would be like throughout her long history, and made the type to fit accordingly!

PENTECOST SIGNIFIES THE GATHERING OF THE FIRSTFRUITS

Pentecost signifies a great harvest, that is true. But compared to the coming glory, it is really but a harvest of firstfruits. "The feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours..." (Ex. 23:16; Lev. 23:17). And so Christ as the Sheaf that was waved, was the "firstfruits" of a great harvest to follow. Pentecost is that harvest. But even the harvest of Pentecost is the firstfruits of the coming harvest of the Feast of Tabernacles! Pentecost is wonderful, as we shall discover--when the real fullness of this experience is restored to the Church. But wonderful as it is, Pentecost is but the firstfruits of great and mighty things awaiting the Church of Jesus Christ in the Feast of Tabernacles.

PENTECOSTAL POWER

If there was to be a great ingathering of souls at Pentecost then truly it would require the power of the Holy Ghost to accomplish so great a task. Therefore God imparted not only great miracle-working power, but a new language to the people--that men of all nations might hear the wonderful works of God proclaimed in their own tongue, and be won to Christ. This was a day when a "new meal-offering" was to be presented to the Lord; hence God imparted a new language. See what a great secret remained locked up in the counsels of God until the Day of Pentecost was revealed! For if it was God's plan that the nations should at first be scattered abroad over the face of the earth by means of the confusion of languages--why should it be thought incredible that God should now restore the gift of languages to His disciples, that they might preach the Gospel in the tongues of many nations, and reverse the order (or shall we say the disorder) of Babel? And that is exactly what the all-wise God did. In the beginning He confused the languages of the disobedient, to scatter them over the face of the earth and make many nations out of one. (Gen. 11:1-9). But now in the time of the harvest, God in grace and wisdom imparts to His own disciples the gift of languages (languages which came into being because of Babel), that He might gather together a people for His name, and create one holy nation out of the midst of many nations--a nation that would serve Him in obedience and love and unity, even the holy nation and the holy priesthood of the Church. (Some would object to the statement that God gave His disciples the gift of languages to preach the Gospel to the nations. They insist that the disciples declared "the wonderful works of God," and not the Gospel! As if there was a more "wonderful" work of God than the story of redeeming Grace!)

And so the pattern of Pentecost takes on real meaning. "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come (was being fulfilled), they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind (a violent impetuous blowing), and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language." (Acts 2:1-6).

THE DISORDER OF BABEL REVERSED

Notice the contrast between Pentecost and Babel. There the Lord did "confound the language of all the earth," but here at Pentecost harmony is restored by the gift of languages, and the people are "confounded." At Babel the people were "confounded" because they could not understand the language of their own fellow-workmen and fellow-citizens; here at Pentecost the people are "confounded" because they can actually hear and understand the tongue of foreigners! O the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out! Shall a God of wisdom and power bring judgment upon the nations, and shall He not bring grace? Shall He curse and not bless? Shall He slay and not make alive? And shall He not bring grace out of the midst of judgment, and blessing out of cursing, and life out of death? Should we deem it an incredible thing therefore, that in the fullness of the Pentecostal experience the saints of God shall receive a gift of languages so perfect and so real and so genuine, that just as the people of Babel were "confounded" by hearing strange languages they could not understand,--so now in the day of restoration the people of Babel shall be "confounded," but this time even unto repentance, by hearing their own languages from the lips of foreigners?

Thank God for the truth of Pentecost, and for the hope and confidence that the Lord has implanted in the hearts of His people, that we are yet to receive and experience a real Pentecostal experience, when the saints of God shall go forth into the world preaching the unsearchable riches of Christ in all the languages of the heathen. Praise His Name!

But even then we must go on, and on, and on... on from Pentecost to the greatest Feast of the Church, the Feast of Tabernacles.
