Where we have come and the Way Ahead

We were new Christians who had come out of denominations after being converted and filled with the Spirit. At that time we had the American belief of Tim La Haye that we had to get everybody converted as quickly as possible because Jesus was coming back soon. We held little value in the world system and were concerned mostly with preparing for after death. Then Ern Baxter arrived in the UK under a peculiar, (as in strong) anointing.
He addressed our whole generation stating Biblically why our belief was incomplete.
This in itself is not new. There are two instances when apostles asked believers if they received the Spirit when they believed. And Paul instructed teachers further in the gospel.
In the Lakes messages 1975 Ern likened the new Spiritfilled generation to David and his relationship with the equally Spiritfilled Saul, yet made it clear anointing wasnt everything, and God took David as He did His own Son through testing.
In the Capel Bible Week Ern laid out the nature of Covenantal relationship with God and with one another, forming the apostolic basis right there of thousands of new UK and European churches.
In Dales Bible Week 1976 and Kansas City Shepherds Conference Thy Kingdom Come message
Ern stated unequivocally that God spoke in this way to His Son
Sit at my right hand and RULE until your enemies are made your footsool.
He also compared the Israelites in the wilderness to all charismatics and evangelicals, stating that God's objective was to bring us into the Land, and contrary to erroneous doctrine of the evangelical church, since the Cross the LAND now means the whole globe, which has been bought back through the Lamb's own work.
From 1976- 2000s at least some of our number have been repeating the error of the Catholics and the Jesuits by following a carnal manipulation of the fulfilment, which has resulted in evangelicals who are still rooted in the old after life objective, rightly calling their approach Triumphalist.
I saw from the psalms that God has never changed His approach ever, which unlike Abraham and Hagar, involved His original promise to Abraham and Sarah of a Child of Promise fulfilled by the arm of the Lord supernaturally.
I could see this clearly in Psalm 24,Psalm 110, Psalm 123,Psalms of Ascent especially 134 and Psalm 149.
But what the praying intercessors known as the Sisters of the Candlestick in the 50s saw, and what has been continued by brethren such as Ian Clayton,Mike Parsons, Praying Medic and now many others, is that this very fulfilment is wholly connected to us taking our heavenly role in the Courts of the Lord. Surely this was at least part of the meaning of what was formerly called the Rapture, in our invitation to be caught up, raptured into the clouds of Shekinah, God's own glory.
As I have indicated this week, as well as us rising into our place in the Son of Man , where the government is upon His shoulders, is our earthly walk which I challenged Justin Abraham about pictured in the Tabernacle as the Mercy Seat, the walk of Galatians 2.20. But simultaneous to this Psalm 133 and the last discourse of Jesus in John 17 before death, was that we ARE ONE, and we walk together as such, and are KNOWN as such.
The World Council of Churches is attempting an Ishmael coercive unity under the Pope, but according to the Commandments of the Lord and now the in working work of the Holy Spirit to fulfil it,
both the first commandment of loving the Lord with all we are and have, and loving our brethren with whom we have covenantal rights as ones who dwell and continue in the Light, as the fulfilment of the second commandment, are both relational and real experiences, rather than mere coerced outer formalities which have little reality at all.

Have you noticed the way I have led you so far?First of all I have lifted your eyes and given you a vision. A vision that encompassed the whole church. A vision that speaks in ultimate terms and shows you the finished product from heaven's perspective. Your heart was touched by the thought of a great church 'without spot or wrinkle'. As Ispoke to you in those early days it all seemed so attainable,so within reach. The detail was not apparent to you, only the fact that I had spoken, and you saw clearly that now was the hour for the church to become one people. Now was the hour for barriers to go down, for people to come together,regardless of their upbringing and background.
John 17 -•that they might be one' - seemed to be re-echoing fromevery corner of the world and without any collaboration between the voices. You were convinced God was at work.This was his move and he would accomplish it. (So far so good, but now pause and think).
Have you noticed that the outworking is not as easy as it seemed when you received your revelation? Had I wanted to wave an arm in heaven and accomplish my purposes, I would have done so. But I have set my heart upon a personal relationship with everyone who forms a part of this glorious church. 'My ways are not your ways' still remains true, and whereas men would organise a one-church-movement, and set the wheels in motion to co-ordinate this group with that, I have spoken again into the hearts of men that I am growing the church. As ever I am starting small and consolidatingevery move I make. Every now and then there is an upsurge and an outbreak on a larger scale, which is an encouragement to everyone, but the master-builders know that at such times extravagant things are said and believed, and the idea spreads that we are farther on than we really are.
According to eternal principles I then prune that which has borne fruit that it may bring forth more fruit, andthe master-builders are not token by surprise when thishappens. They know that every step of the way I insist that the personal relationship of God and man is developed, and that this explains many apparent set-backs. I do not want people carried along on the crest of a wave, but people with some realisation of the cost, who nevertheless still desire above all else to be a part of this glorious church which gripped their imagination long ago. Indeed many only get their first glimpse of this holy and unified church in the midst of this upsurge stage of my purposes. (Pause again and think about what I am saying).
Now, because of all I have allowed to work upon your lives,you have a deepening relationship with me. Now you really begin to relate to one another. Not as a people who have in mind some grand successful church movement, but as a peopie captivated by my love and grace toward you; as a people thankful to be included at all in what I have set my heart upon. Now you are prepared to go at my pace, you do not despise the time it takes to form a relationship.You begin to understand that I really was unhurried as I made my friendship with sinners, that I was fully prepared for the disappointments and the rewards of friendship, and so it shall be with you more and more. As the barriers between one and one go down, as friendships are formed,and commitments made, you became more vulnerable to being hurt, and yet also on the verge of great discoveries. The riches that I have placed within every single one of you,becomes the available treasure of each other, and the poverty that has marked my people for so long shall be swallowed up in an abundance of supply.There I go again, re-envisioning you and lifting your eyes to the inevitable goal; but take it steady, be prepared for set-backs, be realistic - all in the true knowledgethat,although in one sense it has to be done stone upon stone, it is later than you think, and that finally everything shall be done suddenly.
For there shall be a great unveiling, a pulling aside of the curtain in a moment of time, a trumpet blast and the body of God forged through many trials and heartaches, joined together by many sinews and main arteries across the world, shall arise and dismay shall strike the hearts of many as they see that which they have scorned so long become the evident dwelling place of God.
In an hour when all is falling down, this church shall stand up like an army with abundant life and flexible structure. The bones shall have real flesh on them, andall the world shall see and marvel at this glorious church without spot or wrinkle, that first captivated the hearts of many of you so long ago.

Sounds and Shulammites
39 years ago some of us heard a sound, some heard it live, some heard it on tape(yup remember those?). That sound was of thousands of male church leaders, or shepherds, getting a glimpse of just how vast and how all encompassing was the victory that Jesus won, both on the cross, and ofcourse as He stepped out of the tomb, then subsequently ascended into glory. Yes, there were thousands of male voices making a loud sound...but that happens every week in sports stadiums the world over. But no. This was a crossover sound. A roar from behind the veil. The roar of the Lamb /Lion of Judah transmitted through overwhelmed hearts...like a trumpet announcement that we had all better get ready, because the Word of God is still on track....and though appearances over the recent decades, the great wars,the communist takeovers, appeared to say otherwise, nope....the Word of God was still on course, and the Kingdom Plan was unfolding perfectly as described. In the West we have been blessed in one sense, but psychologically these have been some of the darkest years on planet earth.

It's where I deliberately target an Armenian with the Sovereignty of God, while making it clear I'm not a Calvinist. And it's where I deliberately target a Calvinist with "Go out and make disciples", because you know the Calvinist demonic spirit has long paralysed them from going out and doing anything....ooooh it might not be the Lord's will.
All artists tend to do the Dance before two Armies without labelling at as such, and really anybody who follows the Spirit will be teasing Republicans and Democrats out from their "idees fixes". The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is like the Wicked Witch in Narnia, turning everybody to ice and stone. You become fixed in your little leftbrain image of truth, and you throw out Jesus the Living One who dances between all the candlesticks.

The Reign of God
Ern Baxter interrupted our Christianity in the 70s with some anointing. Pretty well single handedly...(well it seemed like it)...he hoiked us out of our little parochial visions of getting Mrs Smith saved down the road, to the concept of the Reign of God. We hear Kingdom of God, and as Ortiz says,as most don't have kings we've been inured to it as a phrase. So Ern lifted our eyes to see this ain't a tinpot little gospel we preach. We preach the Reign of God. We preach discipling nations. Go into the Land means inheriting the Earth. Now in the 80s and 90s people rushed off and did some Ishmaels, and to a certain extent that's what the modern Christian Right is. Here's some things that Ern was trying to get over that none of us really heard.
The Kingdom is not of this world.
It is a Kingdom of Love.
Though it is a kingdom of love...IT IS A REIGN. It's a difficult human concept marrying both.
It is extended by Speaking Words of faith.
It is not extended by coercion or any human power.
The reign of God is just that...He is KING NOW of my heart,my mind,my feelings,my body. And the reign extends from person to person by and in the power of the Holy Spirit. These are not churchy words,nebulous words...they ARE POWERS, but primarily they are not leftbrain words, not words on the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. "Not by might , nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord."
The Kingdom comes down from above. Like the appearance of the rainclouds no bigger than a man's hand for Elijah as he prayed, so the Kingdom comes, until it resembles a mighty stormcloud.
The Reign of God is an international nation of Kings and priests.
Your royalty is established by the Kingdom's own King rooting Himself inside you, first as a seed. then as a whole mighty Tree. Your royalty is not dependant on a human line, a human will, or a human desire...but the very Person of Jesus Christ.
Just as Jesus learned the new priesthood in the days of His flesh, He passes the same knowledge to us by the Spirit. The Old Testament version was the cardboard replica, which many churches attempt to carry on today. The real version is carried in groans too deep to utter by the Spirit who helps us in our weakness.
The REIGN OF GOD is NOW. This means two things. It is the phrase the disciples were first commissioned to utter and signs always follow.
But it is your PORTAL WITH NOW. Fallen humans live in the past or the future but very rarely make the good of NOW. God is the I AM. He actually IS the only LIFE in the universe. Even the devil's realm is just a self for self version, a derived version, a corrupted version of His own outpouring self for others type of Life.
In preaching the reign of God we are NOT imposing some alien construct onto everybody's overworked lives....like Andre Rabe and Francois DuToit we are preaching FINDING YOUR OWN TRUE SELVES by first LOSING the fake stuff. The stuff you both feel compelled to do out of fear of others, or compelled to do because of your own selfish desires....none of that is the real you, and none of that is the Reign of God.
We preach the Cross which detonated that whole order of things. Yes Jesus Christ forgave you, but He was doing something much more incredible on the Cross. The One who IS LIFE took death upon Him, in all its possible forms, internal hookups,sicknesses,thought constructs,every possible trace of the spiritual identity of our inherited Adamic identity, and when He died and said it is finished...He meant it. Everything outside of the Reign of God...totally annhilated. All legal claims and curses attached to all our families past present and future, were nailed with Him on that Cross.
We now PROVE it by believing it,confessing it,believing ON IT....even in the face of the exact opposite....and you watch how God sovereignly manifests that Reign for you,in you, by you...not by efforts, but by the Life of His very Son.
The Kingdoms of the Earth are built by fear,terror ,force and coercion, and in relatively short time they can corral a new Kingdom in place, like so much herded cattle.
The REIGN OF GOD appears slower....but even that is only apparent, because like seed itself, which is slow, it is also EXPONENTIAL. Fake growth is like a mule. Barren. Can't go anywhere. The REIGN OF GOD is brimful of inner activity, bursting with change....real changes....which like good fertile seed givesbirth to ever more fertile seed.
The reason Christianity has seemed such a poor option is because huge great percentages of it have nothing whatever to do with God's reign and Life. His genuine Life...like the first day of the church...explodes from 120 to 3000 in the very first day.
In the average church all over the world you're lucky to get anything happening at all. But that's another subject....you see RELIGION is NOT LIFE. And Jesus came to bring the active REIGN OF GOD....not RELIGION.

Divinely Elected.
I want to start at rather a strange point and begin by talking to you about election. Election is a very puzzling subject. People don’t like to talk about it – predestination. They want you to get off that right away. But election is a very necessary part of your theological equipment. Don’t think of theology as some profound science that is confined to a few experts. All of you have your theology. Theology consists of your views of God – so you all have some theology. And if you don’t start at election then you put the first button in the 2nd button hole and the whole vest is improperly buttoned. When you think of election let me help you think of election; “In the beginning God …”. There was a time in the history of the cosmos when there was no-one but God. Isaiah, speaking the words of God channelled through him has Jehovah saying; “I am God – before Me there was no God and after Me there shall be no God”. He is God alone. If you can think in the time frame, there was a “time” when there was no-one and nothing but God. There weren’t any angels, there was no universe, there was no sun, no moon, there was no earth, and there was no planets. There was no material existence – there was God. Therefore everything that has come to pass has been from God. “Before Me” He said, “there was no other”. Nobody begat God. God doesn’t have a Father. He doesn’t have anybody before Him or after Him. He stands in infinite singularity. Therefore everything that is, comes from God. The earth is elected. The sun is elected. Everything is elected because when you start from God – God must have elected to do whatever has been done.
Therefore the important thing for us tonight is to find out why God elected us and why God chose us and why God did the things He did so there can be meaning in our lives. “In the beginning” God elected the heavens and the earth. Now I know it says He ‘created’ but He elected to create. So the heavens and the earth are an evidence of God’s sovereign, infinite, independent, singular, unilateral decision to do something. How many don’t understand what I’m saying? How many do understand what I’m saying? What I’m trying to do is to get you to see tonight … Howard touched on it so excellently when he spoke of humanism. Humanism is a consensus of unregenerate philosophical conjectures. Its man sitting down and trying to figure out what things are – having a vote on what you think is the best idea.
Revelation is what comes from the God before whom there was no-one and from whom all things have come, who tells us what things are – why they have come and what His intention is for them[1]. So it’s extremely important that we find out what God has in mind for all of these things. We can’t give you a rundown on history from the beginning – that’s not our purpose tonight. Let’s look at it redemptively. In the process of time, given the Fall and the Flood, there came a time when God elected Abraham.

He must firmly imprint this Promise in himself, and take up a strong Purpose and Resolution, that he will not go forth from the promised Grace of God in Christ, though Body and Soul should perish, and though he should get no Comfort in his Heart all the Days of his Life, or the least Assurance of the Remission of his Sins; as considering and knowing that the Promises of God are more sure and firm than all Comfort whatsoever.
15. Also let him purpose to himself, and bind his Will most firmly in this Resolution, that he will never again enter into the former beastial Images and Vices. Yea, though all the Swine and evil Beasts in him should lament to the Death the Loss of their Food and Pastime, and he himself should be a fool in the Account of all the World for so doing, yet that he would still be faithful to his Resolution of cleaving to the promised Grace of God; and if he must come to be a Child of Death, he would desire to be so in the Death of Christ, to die and live to him at his Pleasure. And let him act and execute this his purpose by continually praying and sighing to God, and commit all his Endeavours, Undertakings, and Labours unto him, and cease from the Imagination or Inclination of Pride, Covetousness, and Envy. Let him but deliver up these three Beasts, and the rest will soon become weak, faint, and ready to die. For Christ will soon get a form in the Words of his Promise, which that man imprints in himself and wraps himself in, and so come to Life and begin to work in him; whereby his Prayers will become powerful, and he will be more and more strengthened and confirmed in the Spirit of Grace.

And as the Seed in the Mother's Womb undergoes the Casualties of Nature and many outward Accidents in growing to be a Child, and before it gets Life; so here, the more resolutely, and through the more Opposition, a Man goes forth from himself, and out of these Images, the more speedily and thoroughly he enters into God, till at length Christ comes to be living in the incorporated Grace; which is effected in and through the great Earnestness of the Purpose and Strife. Upon which there presently follows the betrothing or espousal with Virgin Sophia, viz. the precious Humanity of Christ, wherein the two Lovers, the Soul and the Humanity of Christ, receive and embrace one another with Joy, and together with most inward Desire, penetrate into the sweet Love of God. And forthwith the Marriage of the Lamb is solemnized, where Virgin Sophia, the precious Humanity of Christ is vitally united to the Soul. Now what is done at that Marriage, and with what Joy it is celebrated, Christ himself signifies, by saying, There is greater Joy in the Heaven (which is in Man) and among the Angels in the Presence of God, for one Sinner that repenteth, than for ninety-nine just Persons that need no Repentance.
17. But we have neither Pen that can write, nor Words that can express what that exceeding sweet Grace of God in the Humanity of Christ is, and what they enjoy, who come worthily to the Marriage of the Lamb. We ourselves indeed have found it by Experience in this our Way and Course, and therefore certainly know that we have a sure Ground from which we write; and we would from the Bottom of our Heart most willingly impart the same to our Brethren in the Love of Christ; who, if they would believe and follow our faithful child-like Counsels, would find by Experience also in themselves, from whence it is that this simple Hand knows and understands these great Mysteries.
18. But having heretofore written a Treatise at large expressly concerning Repentance and Regeneration, we here forbear to write more in this short Direction, and refer the Reader to * that Treatise; as also that great Work upon Genesis, called the Mysterium Magnum, in which he may find the Ground of whatsoever he will or can ask, sufficiently laid down. And we admonish him in true Christian Love, to follow us in our Process and Way, and then he shall attain the Divine Vision in himself, and hear what the Lord through Christ speaks in him; and herewith we commend him to the Love of Christ...............................
Melchisedek by EE Brooks
Very little is said about Melchizedek in the Bible. There is even less said about him in the church realm. I was
raised in a major denomination for 20 years. I also attended their Bible College for 2 years. Never in all those
years did I hear any sermon or teaching on Melchizedek. I would often ask, "Who is Melchizedek?"
Hebrews 7:1
For this Melchizedek
, King of Salem, Priest of the Most High God, Who Met Abraham
returning
from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
When ever I would ask someone about Melchizedek the reply was usually "
Who?
" I would say, "
Melchizedek
."
One person replied, "Do you mean
Methuselah
, the guy who lived 969 years?" I said, "No Melchizedek, theguy who met Abraham and is
STILL ALIVE
as reported in Hebrews!" He looked at me funny and said, "What?You mean Melchizedek was still alive when Hebrews was written?" I then started to turn my Bible to Hebrews
7:8 where it says that
someone
WITNESSED meeting Melchizedek and reported that HE LIVETH!

receiveth them , of whom
IT IS WITNESSED
that HE (Melchizedek!) LIVETH

The author of the book of Hebrews knew someone who saw Melchizedek! An unnamed person in Hebrewsbares witness that Melchizedek was Still Alive. The same Melchizedek that received tithes from Abraham inGenesis was still walking this earth. I believe with all my heart that Melchizedek is still on earth today and isAlive & Well! It is no coincidence that there are multiple references to the "
Order of Melchizedek" as havingthe power of an
Endless Life
. There is relatively little written about Melchizedek in Hebrews. There are only 2
references to Melchizedek in the Old Testament. The Old Testament spelling is a little different,
Melchizedek
.
The New Testament spelling is
Melchisedec
but both are referring to the same person. Melchizedek is a
Priest and Jesus is a Priest. There is a traditional teaching that says Melchizedek is Jesus. There are severalreasons why Jesus can NOT be Melchizedek and we will look at those scriptures which prove it.
Hebrews 7:15
And it is yet far more evident: for that after the
Similitude of Melchizedek
there ariseth
ANOTHER
PRIEST (Jesus!)
This verse clearly states that Jesus is
similar to but different thanMelchizedek! Jesus is Not Melchizedek.
He is ANOTHER PRIEST made Like Melchizedek. Contrary to tradition, Jesus is very much
likeMelchizedek
but they are not the same. They’re TWO different people. Jesus is the
Son of God.
Jesus has a Father

Jesus is the Son of the Highest. He also was born of a virgin and has a Mother. It is safe to say that Jesus hasa Father and a Mother
unlike Melchizedek!
Hebrews 7:3
Without Father

Neither Beginning of days

Like unto the Son
of God; abideth a priest
continually
.
OK there it is. Melchizedek was without Mother and without Father. Jesus has
a Mother and a Father,so
therefore Jesus is Not Melchizedek. This verse also tells us that Melchizedek is LIKE the SON. They
resemble each other! Here is the same verse in another translation; Hebrews 7:3
Without Father, without Mother, without genealogy, having Neither Beginning of days nor End of
Life, butResembling the Son of God, He (Melchisedec)
remains a Priest Forever.

Melchizedek and Jesus are alike in many ways but it is obvious that they are two separate individuals. One way they are alike is that they both will be a Priest, Forever and both have the power of an Endless Life.

the dead. God had promised him Isaac would
make him the father of many nations, and he

knew God could not possibly break that
promise. Even though he'd never seen or
heard of such a thing, Abraham reasoned that
God would just raise Isaac back up from the
dead if he had to. He knew that God would
do whatever it took to keep their covenant.
And when Abraham laid his son down on
the altar of sacrifice, he opened the way for
God—his covenant partner—to do the same
thing with His only Son, Jesus, on the cross
years later. But here's an important point for
you to realize. Jesus didn't just appear on the
scene at that time. He'd been involved in that
covenant from the beginning. According to
Galatians 3:16, while God was binding
Himself in covenant to Abraham on earth, He
was also making covenant with Jesus in
heaven.
Now to Abraham and his seed were the
promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of
many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is
Christ.
Abraham was the earthly
representative. Jesus was the heavenly

representative. The covenant was not only
between God and Abraham, but between God
the Father and God the Son. By making
covenant with Jesus, He was making covenant
with someone He knew would never break it
and thereby removing the need for a curse.
How does all this apply to you and me?
Galatians 3:29 is the binding tie.

We are the unborn
generations which looked on as God cut the
covenant with Abram as the father of our
covenant faith. Romans 8:17 calls us joint-
heirs with Jesus Christ. Through the New
Covenant, God has promised to care for us the
same way He would love and care for Jesus.
This New Covenant is better than the old.

...............struggle with this than when the Lord called me to the
Chinese people at the age of fifteen. Leaving home and
family to go to Hong Kong when I was eighteen was
easy in comparison to what God was now asking me to
do.
The Lord kept dangling that spiritual plum before me:
“If you want to feed a nation, you must dance.” He
spoke that to me toward the beginning of campmeet-
ing that year. I made up my mind that every day during
that meeting I was going to dance. Campmeeting lasted
about a month then. Now it continues for ten and a half
weeks. The first day I was so self-conscious, so sure that
everybody was watching me, that everybody could see
me. At our campmeeting everyone is so caught up in
the Spirit that they hardly know what others are doing.
When the power of God comes, when the anointing
falls, you may think that every eye is on you. But you
can get lost in the crowd easily, even if there isn’t a
crowd. There is a crowd of angels and of the anointing.
And many things are happening round about you.
That first day I don’t think I did much more than
wiggle my toes inside my shoes. I understand the prob-
lems others have in this area. I often say when teaching
people, “If you do nothing more than shift your weight
from one foot to the other, that’s a start.” But every day
I made myself available to dance before the Lord. Daily
I became more and more free. At the end of the month
the Lord spoke to me through my mother prophetically.
She didn’t know what God was saying to me. Nobody

had even noticed that I was trying to dance a little. The
Lord said to me, “I am going to change your ministry. I
am going to send you to kings, queens, potentates,
people of position, and you will speak to them of Me.”
I believe that dancing brings an anointing for the na-
tions. I never let a day go by without dancing. I have
danced in the toilets of 707’s, 747’s and DC10’s. How
do I do it? Straight up and down.
You need that anointing to flow through you every
day. Dancing brings that anointing. If you are minis-
tering in some place where you don’t have that liberty,
get in your closet and dance a little before the Lord. If
you have that dance in your feet, you will have an
anointing to feed the bread, the meat, and the wine unto
nations.
During that same prophetic word, Mother saw in vi-
sion the word “Katmandu.” Not long after that the Lord
sent me to Katmandu, Nepal, to speak to the royal fam-
ily about Jesus. (That story and others like it are for
another writing.) The Lord said He would send us to
feed nations, and He has been faithful to that promise;
but it has come through an anointing to dance. Prais-
ing in the dance is powerful!
There are certain Middle-eastern concepts that are for-
eign to us that help us to understand God. How was it
that Salome was able to get the head of John the Bap-
tist? Her dance pleased the king so that he was ready to
give her anything. Coaxed by her mother, she asked for

John’s head. In this case the dance was used in a nega-
tive sense.
In a positive sense, when our dance and our praise
pleases the King, we can have whatever we want. Praise
creates an atmosphere in which miracles happen.
When I dance, I always feel the anointing on my feet,
and I know the promise is that wherever the soles of
our feet tread, the land is ours.
Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread
shall be yours ... .

The Original Vision of Macdonald which got so badly twisted by JN Darby
JN Darby of the Brethren seems to have taken hold of MacDonald's utterance completely carnally in his understanding and twisted it into the Pretribulation Rapture Doctrine that is right across the world and especially in America. As you will read below, the original is far more in keeping with scripture and the realities of the subsequent outpourings of the Spirit in the nearly 200 years in between. And interestingly, the Brethren have continued down their fork in the road and largely missed the movements of the Spirit in the last 100 years. This to me shows again the real originator of this doctrine for it has both paralysed the church, as Ern Baxter pointed out and taken the Brethren movement right out of the Spirit's flow. But the vision is not like that at all!!!

- The first account of MacDonald's utterance was published in 1840 in Norton's Memoirs p. 171-176, and the second account in 1861 in The Restoration of Apostles and Prophets p. 15-18. The two accounts were conflated by MacPherson in his book The Incredible Cover-up p. 151-154. The bold text below is from the first account:
"It was first the awful state of the land that was pressed upon me. I saw the blindness and infatuation of the people to be very great. I felt the cry of Liberty just to be the hiss of the serpent, to drown them in perdition. It was just 'no God.' I repeated the words, Now there is distress of nations, with perplexity, the seas and the waves roaring, men's hearts failing them for fear. Now look out for the sign of the Son of Man. Here I was made to stop and cry out, O it is not known what the sign of the Son of Man is; the people of God think they are waiting, but they know not what it is. I felt this needed to be revealed, and that there was great darkness and error about it; but suddenly what it was burst upon me with a glorious light. I saw it was just the Lord himself descending from Heaven with a shout, just the glorified man, even Jesus; but that all must, as Stephen was, be filled with the Holy Ghost, that they might look up, and see the brightness of the Father's glory. I saw the error to be, that men think that it will be something seen by the natural eye; but 'tis spiritual discernment that is needed, the eye of God in his people. Many passages were revealed, in a light in which I had not before seen them. I repeated, 'Now is the kingdom of Heaven like unto ten virgins, who went forth to meet the Bridegroom, five wise and five foolish; they that were foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them; but they that were wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.' 'But be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is; and be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.' This was the oil the wise virgins took in their vessels - this is the light to be kept burning - the light of God - that we may discern that which cometh not with observation to the natural eye. Only those who have the light of God within them will see the sign of his appearance. No need to follow them who say, see here, or see there, for his day shall be as the lightning to those in whom the living Christ is. 'Tis Christ in us that will lift us up - he is the light - 'tis only those that are alive in him that will be caught up to meet him in the air. I saw that we must be in the Spirit, that we might see spiritual things. John was in the Spirit, when he saw a throne set in Heaven. But I saw that the glory of the ministration of the Spirit had not been known. I repeated frequently, but the spiritual temple must and shall be reared, and the fullness of Christ be poured into his body, and then shall we be caught up to meet him. Oh none will be counted worthy of this calling but his body, which is the church, and which must be a candlestick all of gold. I often said, Oh the glorious inbreaking of God which is now about to burst on this earth; Oh the glorious temple which is now about to be reared, the bride adorned for her husband; and Oh what a holy, holy bride she must he, to be prepared for such a glorious bridegroom. I said, Now shall the people of God have to do with realities - now shall the glorious mystery of God in our nature be known - now shall it be known what it is for man to be glorified. I felt that the revelation of Jesus Christ had yet to be opened up - it is not knowledge about God that it contains, but it is an entering into God - I saw that there was a glorious breaking in of God to be. I felt as Elijah, surrounded with chariots of fire. I saw as it were, the spiritual temple reared, and the Head Stone brought forth with shoutings of grace, grace, unto it. It was a glorious light above the brightness of the sun that shone round about me. I felt that those who were filled with the Spirit could see spiritual things, and feel walking in the midst of them, while those who had not the Spirit could see nothing - so that two shall be in one bed, the one taken and the other left, because the one has the light of God within while the other cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven. I saw the people of God in an awfully dangerous situation, surrounded by nets and entanglements, about to be tried, and many about to be deceived and fall. Now will THE WICKED be revealed, with all power and signs and lying wonders, so that if it were possible the very elect will be deceived - This is the fiery trial which is to try us. - It will be for the purging and purifying of the real members of the body of Jesus; but Oh it will be a fiery trial. Every soul will he shaken to the very centre. The enemy will try to shake in every thing we have believed - but the trial of real faith will be found to honour and praise and glory. Nothing but what is of God will stand. The stony-ground hearers will be made manifest - the love of many will wax cold.
I frequently said that night, and often since, now shall the awful sight of a false Christ be seen on this earth, and nothing but the living Christ in us can detect this awful attempt of the enemy to deceive - for it is with all deceivableness of unrighteousness he will work - he will have a counterpart for every part of God's truth, and an imitation for every work of the Spirit. The Spirit must and will be poured out on the church, that she may be purified and filled with God - and just in proportion as the Spirit of God works, so will he - when our Lord anoints men with power, so will he. This is particularly the nature of the trial, through which those are to pass who will be counted worthy to stand before the Son of man. There will he outward trial too, but 'tis principally temptation. It is brought on by the outpouring of the Spirit, and will just increase in proportion as the Spirit is poured out. The trial of the Church is from Antichrist. It is by being filled with the Spirit that we shall be kept. I frequently said, Oh be filled with the Spirit - have the light of God in you, that you may detect Satan - be full of eyes within -be clay in the hands of the potter -submit to be filled, filled with God. This will build the temple. It is not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord. This will fit us to enter into the marriage supper of the Lamb. I saw it to be the will of God that all should be filled. But what hindered the real life of God from being received by his people, was their turning from Jesus, who is the way to the Father. They were not entering in by the door. For he is faithful who hath said, by me if any man enters in he shall find pasture. They were bypassing the cross, through which every drop of the Spirit of God flows to us. All power that comes not through the blood of Christ is not of God.
When I say, they are looking from the cross, I feel that there is much in it - they turn from the blood of the Lamb, by which we overcome, and in which our robes are washed and made white. There are low views of God's holiness, and a ceasing to condemn sin in the flesh, and a looking from him who humbled himself, and made himself of no reputation. Oh! it is needed, much needed at present, a leading back to the cross. I saw that night, and often since, that there will be an outpouring of the Spirit on the body, such as has not been, a baptism of fire, that all the dross may be put away. Oh there must and will be such an indwelling of the living God as has not been - the servants of God sealed in their foreheads - great conformity to Jesus - his holy holy image seen in his people - just the bride made comely by his comeliness put upon her. This is what we are at present made to pray much for, that speedily we may all be made ready to meet our Lord in the air - and it will be. Jesus wants his bride. His desire is toward us. He that shall come, will come, and will not tarry. Amen and Amen Even so come Lord Jesus."

CHAPTER 10 - TABERNACLES - THE FEAST OF INGATHERING
And the Feast of
Ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labors out of
the field" (Ex. 23:16).
If the Passover was wonderful--and it certainly
was--how much more wonderful shall we expect Pentecost to be in its fullness? And if
Pentecost is wonderful, how much more shall we expect Tabernacles to exceed it in glory?
In the Passover we have but the Sheaf of Firstfruits by way of harvest, and not the
harvest itself. But Pentecost was the harvest. And what a tremendous harvest there was!
And so now the Feast of Ingathering must far surpass Pentecost, even as Pentecost
surpassed the harvest of the Sheaf of Firstfruits.
A GREAT ECLIPSE
The Cross and Pentecost--this was but the dawning of
the great Day of the Church. That Day has already extended some nineteen hundred years and
more, and the sun rises higher and higher and higher in the heavens of God's eternal
purpose. We are not inferring that the glory of the Sun continued to grow more brilliant
as it rose in the sky. It should have done so, but through the disobedience of the reapers
the sun was darkened, and the moon (even the Church) did not give her light. The history
of the Church is a history of darkness and sorrow and bitterness. What happened? Did the
Sun of Righteousness set in the heavens, and was the Church swallowed up in defeat? Ah no!
It was not the setting of the Sun, but it was a great eclipse that caused the darkness,
even the eclipse of the Dark Ages.
First there was the eclipse of the moon, the Church.
In her circuit about the heavens she was caught in the shadow of the earth, and the
corruption of the earth transformed her beautiful glow into blood and sorrow. And then
there was the eclipse of the Sun. The apostate Church in her circuit obscured the glory of
the Sun, so that earth-dwellers witnessed the eclipse of Truth himself. Truth perished
from the earth; and joy withered away from the sons of men. Hence the Dark Ages! A few
godly saints were left, for God has always had His believing remnant; and how they must
have thought the Sun had set forever upon the once-glorious Church! But no! It was just an
eclipse, and in due course--according to Divine pattern, the moon began once again to take
on her celestial glow, and the Sun began to shine brilliantly in the heavens of the Church
Age. The Reformation had started. Light began to dawn upon the darkened understandings of
men, and truth began to be restored to the Church. And the Reformation has not ended by
any means. Indeed, it too seems to have gone into partial eclipse. But rays of promise are
again breaking forth from the heavens. "The darkness is passing away, and the true
light now shineth" (1 Jn. 2:8, Literal).
"Who is she that looketh forth as the morning,
fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?" (Song
6:10). She is the group known as the overcomers. She is the "undefiled,"
"the choice one of her that bare her." As we mentioned before, there are many,
many groups in the Church, according to God's plan and purpose; and we are not attempting
to make any particular distinction between them. "There are threescore queens, and
fourscore concubines, and virgins without number. My dove, my undefiled is but one"
(Song 6:9). There is a place for all God's people in His great House; but shall we not
seek after that intimate place of fellowship and communion with Him in the very
"secret place of the Most High?" Says Paul, "In a great house there are not
only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honor, and
some to dishonor..." All the saints have a place in God's Church; but one company
receiveth the highest prize. The challenge is therefore thrown out to the saints
everywhere, to rid themselves of the corrupting influences of the flesh and of the
natural, and to diligently seek the things of the Spirit of God. "If a man therefore
purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the
master's use, and prepared unto every good work" (2 Tim. 2:20, 21).
THE CHURCH, THE GARDEN OF GOD
Jesus testified, "I am the true vine, and my
Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and
every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth (pruneth) it, that it may bring forth more
fruit" (Jn. 15:1, 2). The Church, the Garden of God! Surely this truth alone is
sufficient to establish the fact that the Church's day must end in great fertility and
unparalleled prosperity. If we constitute God's Garden, then nothing shall prevent the
great Husbandman from bringing His heritage to abundance and fruition. It is His
responsibility to look after it, and to see that it brings forth a harvest for His glory.
"For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will
make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the Garden of the LORD;
joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody" (Isa.
51:3).
God always brings light out of darkness, life out of
death, joy out of sorrow, strength out of weakness, and fruition out of barrenness. We can
rejoice, therefore, as we see the desolation of Zion, knowing that her "desert"
shall become like the very Garden of the Lord. "The wilderness and the solitary place
shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall
blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing..." (Isa. 35:1, 2).
WINDS OF JUDGMENT AND BLESSING
"A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse; a
spring shut up, a fountain sealed... Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon
my garden, that the spices there of may flow out" (Song 4:12, 16). Both winds are
necessary for God's Garden: the blighting cold wind of the north to test and try the
saints; and the warm breezes from the south, to bring forth the fragrance of the Spirit.
We can be thankful, then, that in all the strife and bitterness of the Church's history,
God's sovereign purposes have been fulfilled. For God has reserved the time of the
"south wind" until now. "For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and
gone; the flowers appear on the earth" (Song 2:11, 12).
THE LATTER RAIN
We are looking forward with anticipation for the
coming of the promised "latter rain." The saints of God are thirsting for these
living streams from heaven. But how little do we realize that God is more anxious for the
"latter rain" than we are! And why? Because He is the Gardener; and He is
waiting for the Feast of Ingathering, when He might gather in the precious produce.
"Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long
patience for it, until he (it) receive the early and latter rain" (Jas. 5:7). God is
waiting for the hour when He shall bestow His latter rain, just as anxiously--and even
more patiently--than we are. James says, "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the
coming of the Lord," for in a very real sense the coming of the latter rain
is the coming of the Lord into the midst of His people. That is exactly what the prophet
Hosea declared: "Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going
forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain,
as the latter and former rain unto the earth" (Hos. 6:3). The time is at hand when we
may with all confidence expect the latter rain, for this is the last day, and God's
triumphant Church must be a glorious Church. However, it is not only the latter rain for
which we are looking, but the latter and former rain! What does this
mean?
JOEL'S PROPHECY
Let us refer to Joel's prophecy concerning the
former and the latter rain. This refers to the seed rain and the harvest rain.
God promised that His people should have both in due season as they walked in His ways:
"The first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy
wine, and thine oil" (Deut. 11:14). This is what James was referring to, and it is
that which Joel prophesied about:
"Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice
in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause
to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in
the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with
wine and oil" (Joel 2:23, 24).
Of course, this passage did have a partial
fulfillment at Pentecost, inasmuch as Peter declared: "This is that
which was spoken by the prophet Joel..." and we have already pointed out that
Pentecost is a harvest of Firstfruits. The fullness of the harvest, however, is the Feast
of Ingathering in the seventh month, when the wine and the oil were gathered in. You see,
Israel observed two different calendars: they had the Sacred Year which began with the
Passover in April, commemorating their departure from the land of Egypt, and their
beginning as a redeemed nation. But they also had what has been termed a Civil Year, or an
Agricultural Year, which began in October. This, then, was the first month of the Civil
Year, but at the same time it was the seventh month of the Sacred Year--the month of the
Feast of Tabernacles.
What Joel prophesied then, was this: "Be glad
then, ye children, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the
former rain moderately..." Dispensationally this was Pentecost, when God
first poured out His Spirit in copious showers of the former rain. Peter therefore could
testify: "This is that..." But it was only part of what Joel
had prophesied, for he continued: "And he will cause to come down for you the rain, the
former rain, and the latter rain, in the first month." The period from
October to April was the rainy season. Then followed the long summer months when no rains
were to be expected. The October and early November rains were called the former
or the seed rains--the rains which prepared the ground for the seed; then the
rainy season ended with the latter rains of April, or the harvest
rains--that which caused the grain to ripen; preparatory for the harvest.
Joel's prophecy, therefore, speaks of Pentecost--but
it goes on to embrace the fullness of Pentecost, even the Feast of Tabernacles. God did
give the former rain moderately--in the Pentecostal Age extending from the early Church
until now. But here is something very unusual. Right here in the
"first month" of the Agricultural Year (the seventh month of the Sacred year)
God has promised to do something most unusual; for He would give, not only the former rain
which belongs to that month, but He would give the former rain and the latter rain
combined!
Can we not see from this what God has promised His
people in this great hour? Not only the fullness of a great and glorious harvest, as in
Pentecost. And not only the wonderful harvest of Tabernacles, the Feast of Ingathering.
But all the glory and power of the early Church combined with all the glory and power
which rightfully belongs to the triumphant Church of the last days! All her former glory
combined with all her latter glory! Truly we cannot begin to imagine the great and
tremendous things which God hath prepared for them that love Him! "And he will cause
to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain, in the first
month,"--Or, "in the beginning of the season." It is the promise,
not only of the early and latter rain in the hour of the Feast of Tabernacles (the
"first month" of the Civil Year, but the seventh of the Sacred Year)--but it is
also a promise of the great day of harvest. "And the floors shall be full of wheat,
and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil" (Joel 2:24). The normal procedure is:
the early and the latter rain, then the harvest which culminates at Pentecost, then the
long summer months of dry weather, and then the final ingathering at the year's end. And
that indeed is the way it has happened dispensationally in the Church: the former
rain at Pentecost, but only moderately-- producing only a
moderate harvest, and followed by a great period of drought for century upon century. Now
the Lord will do a quick work in the earth. This is the focal hour of Church history. Now
we shall have not only the great and mighty harvest of the seventh month, the Feast of
Ingathering, but the former and the latter rain combined! A veritable
deluge of rain from the gates of Heaven! No wonder the prophet prophesied, "The glory
of this latter house shall be greater than of the former..."
THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
"And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the
vats shall overflow with wine and oil." Or, literally, "New wine and oil,"
beautiful symbols of the fruit of the Spirit in the saints. Said Paul, "Be not drunk
with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit" (Eph. 5:18). And the
oil, as we know, is a symbol of the anointing. "The anointing which ye have received
of him abideth in you..." (1 Jn. 2:27).
This great ingathering is the harvest for which the
husbandman has been waiting ever since the foundation of the Church. Gifts of the Spirit
are really no evidence of spiritual attainment; God bestoweth His gifts freely by His
grace upon whomsoever He will. But with fruit it is entirely different. Fruit must grow;
and God has never intended that the Body of Christ should ever bring forth fruit except
through a continual Divine growth in the Spirit of God. The Ascension gifts that we
mentioned are for the purpose of adding growth to God's Garden, that we "may grow
up into Him" (Eph. 4:15). God will not come to us looking for gifts, but for
fruits of the Spirit. He gave us His gifts freely by His grace, and all we had to do was
to receive them and use them. What God wants now is fruit, because that
is something which He can receive from you. That is something which must grow
upon you by your patient and continual walk with God and your appropriation of His Spirit.
Until now the Husbandman has come into His garden, pruning, cultivating, watering--without
expecting anything in return. But now the harvest time is approaching, and soon He shall
visit His garden for one purpose and for one purpose only: seeking for fruit, and trusting
that His tender care over the vine has produced genuine fruit of the Spirit.
Let us never forget that the fruits
of the Spirit, and not the gifts of the Spirit, constitute the real test
of spiritual life; for the latter are given to produce the former, and it is the
fruit that is the embodiment and expression of Christ-likeness within the heart
and soul. That is why Paul exhorted, "Follow after love, and desire
spiritual gifts..." (1 Cor. 14:1). Gifts are absolutely necessary, for they
are the means to the end; but Love is the end, the consummation, the fruit for which God
is waiting. Love is the Ultimate, because "God is Love," and it is His purpose
to conform the saints even unto "the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn
among many brethren" (Rom. 8:29). Love is the End: but it is an End which knows no
beginning or ending, for it is God himself; and when we become thoroughly united with Him
we are in a realm which is eternally progressive.
O what a grand and glorious day awaits the Church in
the Feast of Ingathering! The Day of the fruit of the Spirit! Because we do not have the
fruit of the Spirit in any degree of fullness, we cannot appreciate its glory. Before the
gifts of the Spirit were restored to the Church we had a faint conception of what they
would be like, but what a revelation it is as we see them gradually unfolding before our
eyes! So with the fruit of the Spirit. We know what they are: "Love, joy, peace,
long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance" (Gal. 5:22). But
we shall never appreciate any measure of their real glory until the fruit of the Spirit
becomes visibly manifest in the saints of God.

John 7 is one interesting chapter. You see every year the Jews celebrated their Feasts. Jesus said to his brothers, "Your time is always with you". Originally it didn't seem Jesus was even going to turn up. He did turn up. He virtually took over the show. The Spirit kind of exploded through Him on the day of the Outpouring of Water, which was part of the Feast of Tabernacles, that HE WAS THE WATER OF LIFE.Every year the Jews held their Feasts. But at other times God held His events.
The birth of Jesus had its own choral event combined with angelic announcement.Nobody knew or particularly cared about the birth of the Messiah. Well they cared about their idea of the Messiah. The one that would lend strength to their egos as Sovereign of the Jewish master Race. It was promised you know.
But the real Jewish Messiah, the one recorded beforehand in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22, only the shepherds cared about.And in particular because they were greatly honoured to be especially told about it.
There's a generation today like that. They are about to be told. But no one from Judaism or Christendom will know about it, because they still have an alternative Messiah to the real one. But those honoured to be told at all, they'll be there. That every mouth be stopped.
That grace just be grace.
You see everything is wheels within wheels.
Cycles within cycles.
Every year we have Spring Harvest. The Call. Soul Survivor. Music events. Denominational events.
But then, every few decades and accelerating, there are the God events.
Just like Simeon and Anna happening to be at the Temple just about the time Jesus was presented to the Lord, and being on hand to prophecy sovereignly over His life, and the life of mankind.Every so often, there's the fruition of years.
You see God has a seed. The Seed of His Son.
Sown as people receive the Passover message.
Confirmed and anointed as people receive the Pentecost Message.
Then manifested like a "coming out" ball in completeness at Spirit directed Tabernacles events. Part of Tabernacles is the Feast of Ingathering, what people call revivals. Except for those pioneering the moves, this is no revival. This is Jesus coming out of them, fullgrown.
People think the Welsh revival came in 1906. That was just the end product- the Feast of Tabernacles presentation. But the Seed was sown in the previous revivals in the 1800s, and 1850s. These were Melchizedek order groups, nursing the seed as it grew, until the Coming out Debutante Ball !!!
In 1970s, Watchman Nee had willingly sown his life into a Communist jail where he had his tongue cut out , and he died. He did this as an intercessory act for China and the West.But simultaneous to this a prophetess called Jean Darnall directed Britain, in poor shape spiritually, to hold a Festival of Light as a prophetic declaration using all the old Beacons throughout Britain. Then culminating in two London Festivals. One in 1971 and then the one I was present at in 1972.
This was the era when denominations were hearing the message about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Initially the Word was coming in the framework known as Fountain Trust. Within a year or so we were hearing the prophetic message that God had so much more. And it was coming through two groups of men to us Brits.
The housechurch leaders. These held significant meetings in London.
And from the States we received input from a group that became localised at Fort Lauderdale Florida.
Don Basham was used sovereignly and from his point of view totally unplanned in our hometown of Amersham. A whole houseful were baptised in the Holy Spirit in my friends's house.It was reported that they had had an orgy. (Clearly someone had noticed them all hugging each other....this was Britain 1967 remember!!)
The point I am trying to make, well several...are God's sovereign timing...HE IS IN CHARGE

And then we heard about the Bible Weeks. And heard the Ern Baxter message from Kansas City in 1975.This is the point i want to make. We were denominational but Spirit-filled Christians. The only thing we knew about was receiving the Holy Spirit's power in order to share with other people we knew about the salvation offered inJesus Christ.
What we didnt know when we gathered in Dales Bible Week Harrogate Yorkshire in a huge cowshed used for agricultural shows was that when God does one of His sovereign presentations everything changes gear.
Melchizedek order events are not man made. God sets them up decades before. He chooses and anoints (quite often) totally unknown hidden people.
David Duplessis of the charismatic move was chosen through prophecy through the mouth of Smith Wigglesworth in 1946, some 20 years before he was really used as figurehead throughout Africa and the world.Melchizedek order events are always hugely bigger than anyone can imagine. None of us expected anything like the Dales. It blew us right out of our denominational mentaliities.That's when we became Kingdom people.
These events are bigger , more substantial for these reasons.
God says about prayer, and waiting upon Him.....don't heap up words as the gentiles do with their prayers. Unbelieving Anglicans heap up the Lord's prayer each week as a meaningless ritual. They have absolutely no idea what they are reciting, apart from a parrot fashion lipsync.Instead we are to go into our inner room and meet with our Daddy Father in secret. We listen out for Him. We love on him. We commune with His heart. Which is huge. We listen to His heartbeat. We capture His vision. We receive the DNA infrastructure of His next Melchizedek events. Small and large. Whatsoever we hear in the secret place, shall, down the road be shouted loud from the rooftops, over P.A systems in stadiums. At the next big events.
These events are more substantial because each generation is standing on the last, and Jesus continues to "come" stronger and stronger in His saints. Saints literally have MORE of the substance of Christ, which like concrete is being laid thicker and thicker inside the saints.
Then put all these secret place whispers, of all the 12 tribes,in thicker and thicker concentrations into one gathering place, and the step change is, to begin with almost too much for everybody. The presence of God corporately is almost frightening. You see all of us tend to live in our small family units, or at best meet in our local church, but Melchizedek events are a bit like Close Encounters of the Third Kind . Quite often with little advertising, everyone knows, maybe by virtue of the sort of gathering it is, or the sort of hungry people who are going to be there, or by virtue of the Lord's dealings that we know about among the people that will be there....
For whatever reason, when we actually arrive, we're a bit breathless. How on earth did these other guys hear about it?
This was so for the Holy Spirit instructed teach-in on evangelism and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in my friend Rachel's house in April 1972. it was in South Bucks for heaven sake. How did those teenagers from Noth Bucks know about it?
Melachizedek events really are like the building of Solomon's Temple. Previously hewn in secret quarries, all the pieces appear to come together perfectly and pretty seamlessly, yet totally beyond human planning. To a certain extent this happens with every Spirit Church meeting....but nowhere is it more obvious than in the larger Melchizedek events.
Lastly, these events are more substantial because of the new vision level that the Holy Spirit chooses to unveil. All God's vision requires the FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF to bring it to pass. As little denominational or new housechurch people, the KINGDOM vision that was presented was so vast, because it encompassed the whole world, we thought how on earth can these things be? All we'd known at Dr Challenors Grammar School ,Amersham UK was attempts to close us down, to hush us up, to render our little Christian union absolutely useless and ineffective in the larger school. Looking back it is very like the legitimacy of the Catholic Church at the end of the Roman empire. Sure we had our meeting place, but we had various strictures placed upon us, that as naive schoolboys we probably took on board far too swiftly. This was and is how Communist China deals with Christian churches. They formed the 3 self Movement, which is a government policing, emasculating the spread of the gospel. Ofcourse the house church movement (illegally) expands more and more.Yet God knows the end from the beginning. He knows what He calls us to and how it is to be fulfilled. He knew about things we didnt know or couldnt envisage. The Power of the gospel itself was far greater and deeper than we knew through Billy Graham. Although we saw signs through Wurmbrand that this was one heck of a power coming out of a human. Then we knew nothing about 3stages of growth, sattellite TV. Home PCs. And here it is.
Right now.
The next awesome stage is about to be announced.
The Third Level. The Third Feast. The Incarnation of Christ in the Believers. The Last Great Battle.
Music like you've never heard in your life.
Worship so intense you may be fooled that you are in heaven.
12 tribes worth of revelation streaming.
Healing and miracle power like your eyes will hardly be able to apprehend.
Some leaders you will recognise who know how to move with the Melchizedek order, just as Arthur Wallis and Derek Prince did. Many are totally new and unheard of by man, but totally and intimately known by God.

Chris Welch Joan so glad you liked this. You are going to be so glad you met the bathroom floor. Obviously I don't know details, but right in the thick of it as we start to experience the very mists of glory starting to become visible to the naked eye, you're going to think......wow.....when I was hanging below the toilet seat, kind of vaguely face down....I never dreamt that God would bring me to this....and on earth too!

Rich Novek One of my favorite passages, God gave me this when i was in my 20's, just before I moved away from my home town the first time with a wife and new baby. I moved to Seattle in 83, and it turned out being the most amazing time, especially in regards to my relationship with Christ! it's REAL Christianity in a nice compact nutshell!
