This is not John's usual upbeat topic about Christ's victorious Life. I like the non sequitur , " well actually I DO support mothers and babies who do not go ahead with abortion.

This weekend we lost one of the most perverse and murderous butchers in human history. Ironically but not surprisingly, this infanticidal judge with the blood of 60 million children on her hands, is being celebrated even by many “progressive” Christians who (butt-hurt over religion or just looking for attention) must prove contrarian to anything smacking of even the basic tenets of their supposed faith, such as “thou shalt not kill.” 

In the bifurcation of today’s polarized society, everyone politically demonizes “the other side.” But some issues stand as an unequivocal evil which must be opposed at all cost, by all people, even at the price of being labeled draconian, religious, regressive or “right wing.”

Many have drank the murderous swill of abortion’s justifications:

“It’s the woman’s body.”

Yes, and the child’s, who has a right to life.

“If it’s outlawed they’ll still do it in an unsafe way.”

Apply that justification to pedophiles (unfortunately you may already have). There is never a safe abortion for the child.

“This is about women’s rights.”

Unborn women also have rights. Save the baby humans.

“You should talk about taking care of them after they are born!”

I do. Every month I feed, house and educate dozens of unwanted orphans I’ve taken in. Are you? Or are you just repeating a talking point? There are countless agencies, prospective adoptive parents, taxpayer subsidies ... plenty of safety nets in today’s society willing to rescue children, without implementing whatever socio-economic restructuring you’re trying to wedge in to the issue. This is not only a red herring argument, but is shameless audacity to claim moral high ground by advocating for cold-blooded murder in lieu of a child support check.

“What about immigration, racism, universal healthcare...”

Hangon. Let me stop you right there. You mistake me for someone entrenched in this two-party, political bullshit in which I’m not a card carrying member. So none of those are remotely relevant to the issue at hand.

I can’t cover all the shallow platitudes people use to justify ripping innocent children from the womb. But if you can’t call it murder, you WILL be on the wrong side of history ... mark my words. If you find this topic unpleasant, try taking a moment of introspection and ask Christ to show you His opinion on this (not to be confused with the voice of your own calloused conscience). You could also try picking up those dusty scriptures off the shelf, if you still have the humility to glean from them.

*And by the way, if you have aborted a child, you are forgiven, loved and fully accepted by Christ. Let yours be a voice that now rescues lives and helps scared young mothers battling with this very decision.

40 Years Of Murdering Babies

Father and Sovereign over everything in heaven and earth, the One true and living God, and Creator of all things, without which nothing would be, I am sorry for being so passive about the murder of so many innocent lives through abortion. I cringe at the thought of what you must think of this nation, a nation so full of information, intentions, self-aggrandizement, and arrogance. We (and I must say "we," since I am a citizen of this country) have declared war against a myriad of innocent lives who have never seen the light of day, never smelled a rose, never spoken a word, and especially have never robbed a bank nor murdered another person. This is a war in darkness where we pretend we cannot see, and yet technology has made us see their beautiful hands and feet, their perfectly formed hearts and heads, and even their countenances. Reveal to us believers what we can do to stop this encroachment upon our unborn children, gifts of God that would make our quiver full, and yet we make it empty, ones that would make us laugh and bring energy into our homes, and yet we shun that precious possibility. Teach us, Lord, to pray for those who are engaged in this wicked crime; open their hearts to their sin and grant repentance in their hearts. Then perhaps we as a nation can learn more of your morals instead of ours, more of your thoughts, which are greater than our thoughts, more of your mind, which is greater than our minds, and more of your grace, of which we have none until you give it.

One of the proofs that there is a devil is this: put groups of individuals relating naturally together, it is just so long before new principalities are set up amongst them. There are cultural norms of behaviour and thinking. A lot of these, like patterns of food...have nothing to do with any devil...no the devilish ones, like say, abortion in our age, are so evidently evil, yet are enshrined in a cultural blindspot.

KMOO Marriage gets first judicious rollicking

Never let it be said that this 51 year old is ready to put up his slippered feet, grab his pipe, and cosily nestle into Daily Mail nostalgia world....but obviously after the KMOO post, I was immediately jolted. Here at last is someone in a senior public position saying what we've known in private for years.

Regarding both KMOO marriage and KMOO childcare(abortion), has it come to this after 40 years prayer, countless debates, Christian sermons, Christian action groups....

That the only thing left is satire?
Like Jonathan Swift's "Gulliver's Travels".Holding a mirror up to society. This also was the function of straight literature in Harriet Beecher Stowe's Uncle Tom's Cabin, which was perhaps the final straw that set the slavery issue before the people of America.

When someone as noble and wise,informed and intellectual as Professor Winston is happy to get behind abortion, then we know how sick Britain is.
Few Christians, and even fewer Christians who have experienced the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, believe in abortion. More than that, it is not that we dislike abortion as an intellectual concept. It's more visceral. Some of us feel strong nausea. It is to us very similar territory to the Jewish holocaust. Just as an intelligent nation bought into the lie of murdering innocents, we feel Britain has bought into the lie of "abortion".

Only marriage can mend broken Britain, says top judge in attack on 'pass the partner' society (Daily Mail today)

Marriage should be promoted by the Government to end the 'social anarchy' of family breakdown, a senior judge said last night.
Mr Justice Coleridge accused mothers and fathers who fail to commit to each other of engaging in a game of 'pass the partner' that has left millions of children 'scarred for life'.
In a hard-hitting speech in Parliament, he called for a change of attitude that would attach a 'stigma' to those who destroy family life and said a National Commission should be established to devise solutions for the 'epidemic' of broken homes.
He said: 'The reaffirmation of marriage as the gold standard would be a start.'
Currently, one in three marriages ends in divorce. One in ten children lives with cohabiting parents and a quarter live with a single parent.

Children from single-parent families are far more likely to do badly at school, suffer poor health, fall into crime, drug abuse, binge drinking and teenage pregnancy.
Sir Paul Coleridge, 60, who is married with three adult children, is a leading family judge, having presided over the divorce of Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills.
He also made the ruling in Britain's largest divorce settlement in which Beverley Charman received£48million when she divorced insurance magnate John Charman.
The judge's comments stopped short of condemning the Government

But his support for marriage will be music to the ears of Conservative leader David Cameron, who has made clear that a Tory government would support marriage through the tax system.
By contrast, Labour ministers insist alternative family set-ups are equally valid.
In his speech to the Family Holiday Association charity of which he is a patron, Mr Justice Coleridge said: 'I am drawing attention to the endless game of "musical relationships", or "pass the partner", in which such a significant portion of the population is engaged.'


Condemning the 'endless and futile quest for a perfect relationship', he said many parents were in 'a complete and uncontrolled free-for-all where being true to oneself and one's needs is the only yardstick for controlling behaviour'. See KMOO
He added: 'The children are caught up in the conflict of their parents' unresolved relationship issues and it can leave them scarred, sometimes severely scarred, for life.'
The judge also said government should support 'those who chose not to marry but live a committed life with a partner', since they provide stability for children.
Calling for 'a fundamental change in individual attitude and behaviour', he said: 'What is a matter of private concern when it is on a small scale becomes a matter of public concern when it reaches epidemic proportions.
'I am not suggesting that all relationship breakdown and termination can be avoided in all cases. Of course it cannot.'
But he concluded: 'The time has come for a major examination of all the issues surrounding family life, its support and maintenance, and especially the mechanisms and laws for its termination.'
