Jerusalem Old Gate knowledge: Parasites

Contains a reference to a commercial product I have no agency for.

This is posted for good sense purposes .

______

The same Bible that tells you not to eat pork also names the cure for parasites eight separate times. Almost no one alive has ever put those two facts side by side.

Start with the pork, because everyone knows that one. People who have never opened a Bible in their lives know it. No bacon, no ham, no pork chops.

And almost nobody knows what that rule was actually protecting them from.

"Do not eat the pig. It is unclean for you." That's Leviticus 11. Most people read it and assume it was about holiness. A test of obedience. A rule with no reason behind it except to see if you'd follow.

It had a reason. A specific, physical, stomach-turning reason. And the people who first heard that law could not have told you what it was, because the thing it guarded them from was too small to see.

Pigs carry worms.

Pork carries a parasite called trichinella, a worm that burrows out of undercooked meat and into the muscle of whoever eats it. Pork also carries the tapeworm, which can grow many feet long inside a human gut and send its eggs to the brain. Three thousand years before anyone owned a microscope, a desert people were told to stay away from the one animal most likely to put a worm inside them. They did not know why. They just knew the families who ignored it got sick and the families who obeyed it did not.

And it was not only the pig.

"Whatever in the water does not have fins and scales is detestable to you." That's the next law. Shrimp, crab, clams, the bottom feeders. The ocean's scavengers, the ones that eat the filth and the dead things off the seafloor, the ones that concentrate every parasite and toxin in the water into their own flesh. The law steered them away from the exact foods most likely to be crawling.

"Do not eat anything you find already dead." Carrion is a parasite nursery. The rule was a wall against it.

Then come the washing laws. Running water, not standing water. Quarantine the sick for seven days, then seven more. Burn the clothes. Scrub the house. An entire chapter of Leviticus reads like a field manual for stopping something invisible from spreading hand to hand and home to home. Which is exactly what it was.

Every one of those laws was describing something specific, physical, and real. A parasite. The ancient world could not see them. But they had learned, the hard way, across generations of burying the people who got it wrong, exactly which foods and which habits let the worms in. The food laws were a defense system against an enemy nobody could name.

And here is the part almost nobody has ever been told.

The same people who knew how to keep the worms out also knew how to get them out.

Open the Bible and you will find a plant named eight separate times. Jeremiah. Lamentations. Amos. Proverbs. Revelation. The same bitter plant, over and over. Its name is wormwood.

Read that name again. Wormwood. The old world did not name it by accident. It was the bitterest herb they had, and for thousands of years it was the thing you took when something was living inside you. The name is the instructions.

And it was never used alone. The bitter herbs of the Bible came in handfuls. Wormwood. Hyssop, the cleansing plant of Psalm 51, which many scholars believe was a wild oregano that still grows on those hills today. The pungent oils. The bitter seeds. The old world reached for several of them at once, because they had learned that one plant was never enough to finish the job.

That is what I realized the night everything changed for me.

I have taught Scripture for 18 years. Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, a Bible study in my living room that outgrew my living room. I had read Leviticus more times than I can count. I had stood in front of rooms full of people and explained the food laws as a lesson in obedience and never once thought about my own body.

Because for two years my own body had been falling apart, and I had no idea why.

It started with the bloating. Flat in the morning, swollen by dinner, every single day. Then the exhaustion that sleep would not touch. Then the waking up at two and three in the morning, itching, miserable, telling myself it was stress. My doctor ran the tests, found nothing, and told me it was probably my nerves and my age. A woman of faith carrying too much, he said. Pray about it.

I did pray about it. And one night I was at my kitchen table preparing a lesson on Leviticus 11, the food laws, the very chapter I had taught a dozen times, and I read the word unclean and for the first time in 18 years I understood it was not talking about my soul.

It was talking about my gut.

I sat there in the dark and read the whole thing again, the way I had never read it before. The pork. The scavengers. The washing. The wormwood named eight times over. And I understood that the Book I had taught my whole adult life had been describing my exact problem the entire time, and pointing straight at the remedy, and I had been too busy treating it as poetry to see it.

Context changes everything. Every single time.

Did you know the food laws of Leviticus line up, almost one for one, with the foods we now know carry the most parasites. The pig. The bottom feeder. The carrion. The blood.

Did you know wormwood appears in Scripture only as the taste of bitterness and judgment, and that bitterness is the exact thing the old world swallowed to drive the worms out. The cure was hidden inside the warning.

Did you know the quarantine and running-water rules of Leviticus 13 were so far ahead of their time that doctors did not rediscover the same ideas until barely 150 years ago.

The old world did not have our science. It had something we lost. It had the roots.

And once you have those roots back, the answer that has been sitting in plain sight your whole life suddenly lands with the full weight it was meant to carry.

The remedy was never one plant. It was the handful, taken together, and almost every one of them is sitting somewhere in the pages you may have already read.

Wormwood, the bitter herb named eight times over, the one you reached for when something was living inside you. It breaks down the slimy coating the worms hide behind so the rest can reach them.

Oregano, the pungent oil from hyssop, the cleansing plant of Psalm 51. Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean. The same branch they dipped in blood at the first Passover. Many scholars believe that hyssop was a wild oregano still growing on those hills today. It turns the whole gut hostile to anything that survives.

Black walnut, from the walnut grove the bride walks down into in the Song of Solomon. The green hull makes the gut a place worms cannot live in.

Pumpkin seed, from the same family as the cucumbers and melons the people wept for in the wilderness. Its seeds carry something that paralyzes the worms so they lose their grip and leave the body instead of dying and rotting inside you.

And clove, one of the chief spices the old caravans carried, once worth its weight in gold. It is one of the only things that destroys parasite eggs, the stage every weak remedy leaves behind.

Five plants. One job each. The exact strategy the old world used, because they had buried enough people to know that hitting one part of the problem was the same as doing nothing.

I found all five of them in one place. A company called Holior puts them into a single softgel. Wormwood, black walnut, pumpkin seed, clove, and oregano, with a supporting blend that helps the gut heal once the load is gone. 18 ingredients in all, the equivalent of 6,600 mg per serving, in an oil-based softgel so the bitter oils actually absorb instead of passing through. Three a day before breakfast, for 30 days.

I took it the way the old world would have. The full handful, the full season, not one bottle and quit. By the second week the bloating that had run my life for two years was going down for real. By the third week the two and three in the morning waking stopped. The week every weaker thing would have quit on me, it just did not come back. By the end of the month I had my body back, and the verses I had recited my whole life finally meant what they were always trying to tell me.

So here is what I will say to you, the way I wish someone had said it to me.

If your stomach swells up by the end of every day and no one can tell you why.

If you wake in the dark hours itching and exhausted and you have learned not to talk about it.

If three doctors have told you it is stress, or your age, or your nerves, and a part of you has always sensed there was something underneath the words they could not reach.

The Book you may have read your whole life was warning about exactly this, and pointing at exactly the remedy, three thousand years before the rest of the world caught up.

Holior is that old handful of bitter herbs, put back together the way they were always meant to be taken. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If nothing changes, you get every dollar back.

The ancients did not avoid the worms by accident, and they did not clear them by accident either. They had the roots.

This puts those roots back in your hands.

Parasites where are we now ? Part 2. The exterior approach

I've assisted in over 2,000 colonoscopies, says the writer of this tavio advert . Again I, Chris Welch am not sponsored but am really interested in this advertorial as with part one by a separate author and product .

I've seen things crawling inside people that made gastroenterologists go silent.

And the worst part? We're not allowed to tell patients what we really saw.

I'm a GI technician. I operate the camera. I watch the screen while doctors navigate through your

intestines.

For 14 years, I've had a front-row seat to what's actually living inside people.

And I need to tell you something that the medical system doesn't want you to know.

Those symptoms you have—the bloating, the fatigue, the brain fog, the 3am wake-ups—they're not

'just IBS.' They're not stress. They're not 'part of getting older.'

I've seen what's causing them. On a screen. In high definition. Hundreds of times.

And I've watched doctors look at the same screen, see the same thing, and say nothing.

The first time I saw it, I was 26 years old. Three months into the job.

We were doing a routine colonoscopy on a 52-year-old woman. Complaints of chronic bloating and

fatigue. Her primary care doctor ordered the scope to rule out anything serious.

The doctor navigated the camera through her colon. Everything looked normal at first.

Then we reached the cecum—the pouch where your small intestine meets your large intestine.

And I saw movement.

Not the normal movement of the intestinal walls. Something else. Something that shouldn't have been

there.

I watched a white, rope-like mass shift position as the camera approached. Like it was avoiding the

light.

I looked at the doctor. He saw it too. His jaw tightened.

He moved the camera closer. The mass retreated deeper into a fold of tissue.

I waited for him to say something. To document it. To tell the patient.

He withdrew the camera. Finished the procedure.

In his report, he wrote: 'No significant findings. Recommend increased fiber intake.'

I pulled him aside afterward. 'What was that? In the cecum?'

He looked at me like I'd asked a stupid question. 'Mucus accumulation. Very common.'

'It moved.'

'Peristalsis. The intestinal walls contract. It shifts things around.'

He walked away.

But I'd watched that screen for three years of training. I knew what peristalsis looked like. I knew what

mucus looked like.

That wasn't mucus. And it didn't move because of peristalsis.

It moved because it was alive.

Over the next 14 years, I saw it again and again.

White, rope-like masses. Sometimes clustered. Sometimes spread across different sections of the colon.

Thick, grayish coating on the intestinal walls—so dense in some patients that the camera view was

partially obscured.

And movement. Always movement. Things that reacted to the light. Things that retreated into folds of

tissue when the camera approached.

I stopped asking doctors about it after the first year.

Because they all said the same thing. Mucus. Normal variation. Nothing to document.

But I started keeping my own notes.

I'd write down the patient's symptoms before the procedure. Then I'd note what I saw on the screen.

The correlation was undeniable.

Patients with chronic bloating? Almost always had that thick grayish coating.

Patients with fatigue and brain fog? Usually had the rope-like masses.

Patients who mentioned waking up at 3am? The movement was more pronounced. More active. Like

whatever was in there was more established.

I had 14 years of data that nobody wanted to see.

I asked a senior gastroenterologist once—off the record, after a few drinks at a conference—why no

one ever documented this stuff.

He laughed. 'You want the honest answer?'

'Yes.'

'There's no billing code for it.'

I stared at him.

'Parasites are a tropical disease,' he said. 'That's what we learned in medical school. Americans don't get

parasites. So when we see something that looks like parasites, it can't be parasites. It must be mucus.'

'But what if it is parasites?'

'Then I'd have to refer to infectious disease. They'd run tests that would come back negative because

parasites hide behind biofilm and don't shed into stool consistently. The patient would get frustrated. I'd

look like I don't know what I'm doing. And I wouldn't get paid for any of it.'

He took another drink.

'It's easier for everyone if it's just mucus.'

I went home that night and couldn't sleep.

Easier for everyone. Except the patient who's going to live with that thing inside them for another 20

years.

Three years ago, I started having symptoms myself.

The bloating came first. I'd look pregnant by 6pm no matter what I ate.

Then the fatigue. Dragging myself through 12-hour shifts that used to feel manageable.

Then the 3am wake-ups. Like clockwork. Every single night.

I knew what I had. I'd seen it on a screen a thousand times.

But knowing didn't help. Because I also knew that no test would find it. No doctor would believe me.

No oral medication would reach it.

I'd watched parasites retreat from a colonoscopy camera. They could sense intrusion. They could hide.

They were burrowed into intestinal walls, protected by that thick grayish coating—biofilm—that I'd

seen obscure camera views.

Anything I swallowed would pass right through while they sat protected behind their shields.

I needed something that could reach them without going through my digestive tract.

I started researching what actually penetrates biofilm.

Most of the studies were disappointing. Antibiotics couldn't do it. Herbal supplements couldn't do it.

The biofilm matrix was designed by millions of years of evolution specifically to resist whatever the

host threw at it.

But there was one compound that kept appearing in the research.

Ricinoleic acid. Found in castor oil—90% concentration.

Studies showed it could break down biofilm matrices. Not just kill parasites—dissolve the shields they

hide behind.

But here's what the supplement companies don't tell you: you can't swallow it effectively.

Stomach acid degrades ricinoleic acid. What survives gets diluted across your entire GI tract. By the

time it reaches parasites burrowed in your intestinal walls, there's not enough concentration to penetrate

biofilm.

You have to deliver it differently.

Transdermally. Through the skin. With compression and heat.

When you apply castor oil over your abdomen with sustained pressure, it absorbs through the dermal

layers. Your body heat activates the ricinoleic acid. The compression drives it inches deep—into the

tissue surrounding your intestines.

Directly to where I'd seen those things hiding on camera.

And overnight wear—6-8 hours—delivers it during the exact window when parasites are most active.

When they're feeding. When they're moving. When I'd seen the most activity on late-night emergency

scopes.

I ordered a castor oil pack. Started wearing it every night.

Week one: More bathroom activity than usual. Something was moving.

Week two: I saw things in the toilet that I'd only seen before on a screen. Rope-like strands. Pale.

Exactly what I'd watched doctors dismiss as 'mucus' for 14 years.

I didn't need a doctor to tell me what it was. I'd seen it crawl away from cameras.

Week three: The bloating started going down. My uniform fit differently.

Week four: The 3am wake-ups stopped. First time in two years I slept through the night.

Week six: A colleague I'd worked with for years looked at me across the break room and said, 'Did you

lose weight? You look different.'

I hadn't lost weight. I'd lost what was feeding on me.

I still operate the camera every day.

I still see the rope-like masses. The thick biofilm coating. The movement that doctors refuse to

document.

And every time, I think the same thing:

This patient has no idea. They're going to get a report that says 'no significant findings.' They're going

to go home and continue living with that thing inside them. They're going to suffer for

years—decades—while doctors blame stress and aging and IBS.

I can't tell them what I see. I'd lose my job.

But I can tell you.

If you have chronic bloating that doesn't respond to diet changes...

If you have fatigue that sleep doesn't fix...

If you wake up between 2-4am for no apparent reason...

If you have brain fog that makes you feel like you're losing your mind...

If you've had a colonoscopy that came back 'normal' but you know something is wrong...

I've seen what's inside you. On a screen. In high definition.

And I've watched doctors look at the same thing and say nothing.

It's not mucus. It's not normal variation. It's not nothing.

It's alive. It's hiding. And it's not going to show up on any test because it's evolved specifically to avoid

detection.

You can't reach it by swallowing something.

I've watched these things retreat from a camera that was inches away. They sense intrusion. They hide

deeper in the folds of your intestines.

Anything you swallow will pass right through while they wait it out behind their biofilm shields.

You have to go around the digestive system entirely.

Castor oil. Through the skin. With compression and heat. Overnight.

That's the only way to deliver ricinoleic acid at concentrations high enough to break down biofilm.

That's the only way to reach them where they're actually hiding.

I've watched parasites on a screen for 14 years. I know where they live. I know how they hide.

And I know this is the only approach that makes sense based on what I've seen.

The brand I use is called Tavio.

I tried making my own setup first. Castor oil from the store, old t-shirt, plastic wrap. It was a disaster.

Leaked everywhere. Came undone while I slept. Never maintained consistent compression.

Tavio is designed specifically for overnight use. Organic cotton and bamboo that holds the oil without

leaking. Adjustable compression that stays in place all night.

Put it on before bed. Sleep normally. Let it work during the hours when parasites are most active—the

same hours when I've seen the most movement on late-night scopes.

90-day money-back guarantee. If nothing changes, you get your money back.

But something will probably change. Because I've seen what's inside people. And I've seen what

happens when it finally comes out.

You'd never sleep again if you knew what I've seen on that screen.

The things that move when the camera approaches. The masses that retreat into folds of tissue. The

biofilm so thick it blocks the camera view.

All of it documented as 'no significant findings.'

All of it still living inside patients who have no idea.

Don't be one of them.

Don't wait until you're on my screen.

Nurse Cat on parasites

 Mike Geary's  Nutrition Ezine .
Thetruthaboutabs.com

The Nutrition Watchdog

Today we share an article from my co-author Nurse Cat, who uncovered something shocking that might be silently sabotaging your energy, digestion, and immune system too.

-Mike

I’ve spent decades immersed in health, functional medicine, and nutrition. I generally eat a diet of the cleanest, healthiest food I can find. But I’m also a world traveler and adventurer, and sometimes I don’t get to be as choosy with what I eat, as I do at home.

There was the time we were guests of an indigenous tribe high in the Peruvian Andes—they were so thankful we had helped protect their village from a massive dam, that they slaughtered a pig for a celebratory meal. Another time, we were on a remote raft trip on the Karnali River in Nepal, and our guides stopped at a village, killed a goat and roasted it for us to feast by the river. I’ve also eaten sushi in Thailand, Colombia, campfire meals in Botswana, ceviche from beachside vendors in Baja, and various other meals that would seem ‘iffy’ to unadventurous types.

I wouldn’t trade those experiences for the world. But at some point, you gotta wonder…

Could I have some unwanted “critters” in my gut?

So I thought I’d try what seems to be the latest health fad… a parasite cleanse.

First few days on the cleanse, no issues. I felt fine.

But then—boom. Bloating. Skin rashes. Digestive chaos. Fatigue and aching. And my face broke out. It seems the cleanse was making me feel worse.

That’s actually a good sign.

When parasites die off, they can release toxins and waste and it's a classic sign that the critters are being evicted.

So I stuck with the cleanse. And a few days later, everything changed for the better.

My skin cleared up. Digestion normalized. I had a surge of clean, natural energy I hadn’t felt in months. And my gut discomfort? Gone. That tells a lot.

Parasites: The Hidden Epidemic No One Talks About

We tend to think of parasites as a third-world problem, or something you get from drinking out of a dirty stream or eating undercooked pork or fish in some far-off land.

But… that’s not always the case.

Parasites are actually shockingly common, even here in the U.S. In fact, some experts estimate over 90% of people have some form of parasitic infection and don’t know it.

If you’ve ever:
  • Traveled internationally and eaten raw fruits or vegetables, drank the water or had ice in your drink
  • Eaten sushi, pork, or rare meat
  • Swam in a pond, lake, river or even a swimming pool
  • Walked barefoot outdoors
  • Had pets in your home
You’ve likely been exposed to many different types of parasites.

What Exactly Are Parasites?

Parasites are organisms that live and feed off a host—you. They feed on the nutrients in your body, take over your gut, dump toxic waste into your system, and can live for years inside your body often without obvious symptoms.

There are many kinds, some you can see, but many like giardia and the organism that causes toxoplasmosis—are so tiny you can’t see them without a microscope. Here’s a few of the most common parasitic infections:
  • Toxoplasmosis – microscopic parasites that come from cat feces, dirt and cat litter
  • Roundworms – often from pork, soil, or contaminated food
  • Tapeworms – from beef, raw fish or your pet
  • Giardia – a waterborne invader that can get in your drinks or ice
  • Blastocystis hominis – hard to detect, even on tests
  • Liver flukes – which mess with detox and digestion
  • Pinworms – tiny, but shockingly common, especially in children
  • Candida – not technically a parasite, but it can act like one with toxic byproducts, cravings, brain fog, and inflammation
Common Parasite Symptoms (Most People Miss These)

You don’t need to see worms in your stool to know you have parasites. Most of the time, the signs are subtle, chronic, and easily dismissed:
  • Bloating, gas, diarrhea or constipation
  • Fatigue and aching
  • Brain fog or poor memory
  • Sleep issues
  • Skin problems like eczema, acne, or rashes
  • Anxiety or depression
  • Sugar cravings
  • Bad breath
  • Food intolerances
  • Autoimmune flare-ups
  • Weight gain or inability to lose weight
If you’ve been trying to fix your gut and nothing is working… parasites may be the missing link.

Your Doctor Might Not Believe You

Conventional medicine rarely considers parasites unless you’ve returned from a jungle trip with severe diarrhea, and even then, your doctor may roll their eyes at you and give you a hard time for consulting “Dr. Google.”

It’s also important to know that standard stool tests can miss more than half of parasitic infections. Some parasites can hide effectively behind biofilms or deep in the gut lining. Others come and go in cycles. You can definitely test negative and still have parasites.

It’s a good idea to consider a parasite cleanse even without positive test results—especially if you’ve got the symptoms or think you have been exposed.

What You Can Do About It

You don’t need harsh pharmaceutical meds to get rid of parasites. There are many safe, effective alternative formulas that can:
  • Kill parasites at multiple stages of their life cycle
  • Break down biofilms
  • Flush out eggs and debris
  • Support detox organs like the liver and lymph
  • Repair the gut lining
  • Restore a healthy microbiome

I won’t lie, it’s not always comfortable. You might feel worse before you feel better (I sure did). But the results are so worth it.

The Bottom Line

Parasites are real, and they’re much more common than most people (and doctors) believe. If you’ve been feeling off… bloated, tired, foggy, inflamed… these tiny organisms may be sabotaging your health.

Now that I’ve been through the process myself, I can say with confidence:
Your gut (and your whole body) can heal.

Get rid of anything that doesn’t belong in your body and could be stealing your health and energy. You will be glad you did!

While on the topic of parasites you’ve got to see this eye opening video…

4 Signs That Parasites Are Living In Your Body (See The Symptoms)

If you’re reading this in a room with another person, chances are good one of you has it right now.

Studies show it can cause joint pain, digestive issues, weight gain, brain fog, insomnia, and more.

Sadly, most doctors wouldn’t recognize it, even if it walked up and hit them on the head.
