10. Cast out the Bondwoman

I go out on a limb and saw it off in this letter. Please grant me the kindness to impute Christ to me as you read.  Understand that I speak only out of His love and kindness for each individual person on this planet. Please weigh these things carefully in your own spirit before God with an open Bible and a heart filled with the desire to know the living God in all fullness.
Brethren, I speak in the manner of men: Though it is only a man’s covenant, yet if it is confirmed, no one annuls or adds to it. Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God in Christ, that it should make the promise of no effect. For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Galatians 3:15-18
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:26-29
Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written: “Rejoice, O barren, You who do not bear! Break forth and shout, You who are not in labor! For the desolate has many more children Than she who has a husband.”
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.” So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free. Galatians 4:21-31
Again, I find myself including much Scripture in this exploration of the Covenant. Yet the truths in these verses have been obliterated from the Church of Jesus Christ in our day. More than that, few things we could teach will be more likely to get us into trouble than the truths Paul establishes here at the heart of the Covenant.
He begins by stating the irrevocable law of God and men that a Covenant, once established, cannot be added to or taken from. Not one word from Exodus Chapter 1 to Malachi Chapter 4 is capable of altering any element in the Covenant God made with Abraham.
That Covenant God made with Abraham is the New Covenant. It is not a Covenant God made with any of Abraham's natural seed apart from Christ. It is a Covenant made only with Abraham and Christ, period.
More than that, the moment I was baptized into Christ, I “put on” Christ. That word is Absolute and Today. When you look at me, all you can see is Christ. There is nothing else to see. That baptism was a baptism into death, thus there is no Jew and no Gentile in Christ. They do not exist. More than that, because of my faith in Christ, I am Abraham's seed, singular, and heir.
The entire covenant God made with Israel on Mt. Sinai, and all of His dealings with that natural people from the Exodus to John the Baptist, all of it is symbolized in Scripture by Hagar, the bondwoman. In complete contrast, the New Covenant that began in Genesis Chapter 15 is symbolized in Scripture by Sarah, the free woman, and all who put their faith in Jesus, regardless of whether they were once Jews or once Gentiles, are in that free woman.
God has no plan for the natural Jew outside of Christ. There is no salvation outside of Christ. There is no relationship with the Father outside of Christ.  The moment any individual, Jew or Gentile, enters into Christ, they put on Christ, they become a new creation. The old “Jew” and the old “Gentile” are gone forever. Now, there is only one new man in Christ.
Every so-called Jew from the resurrection until today who rejected Christ continues in open violation of the covenant given through Moses. Moses gave as the center piece of that old covenant the requirement to hear Christ, and that all who do not hear Christ are cut off from the covenant and from Israel. (Deuteronomy 18)
I repudiate completely the idea that the natural Jew is in line to inherit anything from God out of the Old Testament simply because he is a natural Jew. The New Testament is utterly clear on that issue. Those who say that the natural Jew is still in line for the promises of the Old Testament because of his natural descent are doing two things. First, they are repudiating the gospel of Paul here in Galatians that says that all of the promises of God belong to Christ and to those who enter into Christ, whether Jew or Gentile, and second, they are displaying extreme hatred against the natural Jew. The only promise that the old covenant gives the natural Jew is death. That’s the only promise it gives anyone. Every individual person, Jew or Gentile, who places himself under the Old Testament, is condemned to death by God without hope.
God PROMISED the natural Jew in the Old Testament that if they rejected the One whom He would send, they would not only be cut off from the Covenant He had made with them, but that God Himself would make them into a curse and a reproach throughout the whole earth.
THAT IS the Promise of God in the Old Testament to the Natural JEWS outside of Jesus!
There is nothing from God for anyone outside of Jesus. NOTHING!
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us . . . was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 2:19-22
That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:14
Every “good” promise from the Old Testament comes only through Jesus. And Paul sums up that promise as one thing – the Holy Spirit in our hearts. He calls that fulfillment a “guarantee,” yes, a guarantee of all of God in all fullness, the Father in Person, inside of us who are the flesh of Christ, revealed for all to see.
These truths are incontestable and absolute. There is no “other truth.” Now, I go much more into these things in my article, “God's Promise to the Natural Jew,” an article that will likely fit next into a book on the Covenant. I recommend that you read it.  I have a different purpose for this letter, however.
Paul says here that the present city of Jerusalem is a city of bondage. John called it “Sodom.”
Two mighty falsehoods have ripped this truth right out of Christendom, even though our forefathers understood these things perfectly. One is the creation of what men call “Israel”; the other is the holocaust, the great wound of the Beast.
I contend that this is the beast that has crawled up from the abyss. By saying that, I do not mean the individual people involved, I mean the worldly structure ruled over by spirits of darkness.
More than that, Jesus is Savior, and He does all things well. Every single person on this planet is utterly in His hand, and He is guiding all things to a glorious purpose. While I speak of present-day “beliefs” that are of the spirit of anti-Christ with strength, yet I receive each one in the same way that Jesus receives me. They are beloved of the Lord and of me. He will win every heart, and sometimes, He may even use me as a little part of that.
I would not bring hurt or see hurt come to any individual person. Yet the truth is a sword that cuts everyone wide open. God wounds and He heals. An unhealed wound filled with puss cannot heal unless it is cut open and the pus allowed to drain away. (I am speaking spiritually – do not alter my words to make it seem as if I am speaking of carnal warfare – this, not to my readers, but to those who do alter our words.)
The darkness hates the light. Natural man on this earth simply does not tolerate God showing up in the flesh. Yet it is the Word made flesh that is the center of the Covenant.
Paul's words here in Galatians are the Covenant; thus we must include them in this series. The inheritance is central to the Covenant – and that inheritance is openly contested right now today. This is God's doing and central to His purpose.
For this letter, I want to use a paper sent to me by a friend asking for my response. The paper is from an outfit in Redmond, Washington called Media Spotlight: A Biblical Analysis of Religious & Secular Media. Now, this is not something I do often. I am not here to “set anyone straight.” Neither do I want to twist their words to prove some point of my own. I suspect that were I to meet the brethren who wrote this, we could easily find common ground in the Lord Jesus, and I suspect that they love Him as I do. Nothing that I say should be construed as saying anything “condemning” against the writers of this piece. I speak against spiritual strongholds that rule in the imagination of the mind in this darkened world.
We are all deceived; we are all seeing reality bit by  bit for the first time.
Nevertheless, I choose to use this piece because these issues must and will come to the forefront as God proves the Covenant in our lives upon this earth. There is nothing else that could happen.
The article starts with the question, “Are we living at the end of days?” I agree that we are at the turning of the ages and that the days of human folly are finished. Then:
“One of the revelations given to the apostle John and recorded in the Book of Revelation is that of a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars (Rev. 12:1-6). The woman was about to give birth and Satan stood ready to devour her child as soon as it was born. This was a prophetic vision of Israel as a nation in the last days. The sun represents Jacob (called “Israel by God) . . .” and so on.
In the past Christians have claimed that the manchild is Jesus only. Now that symbol seems to have been transferred to the modern nation of  Israel and not to that heavenly woman who, Paul says, is the mother of us all.
Now, it is not possible to present a different view of things point by point. We will do that in part, but the problem is that the underlying assumptions are HUGE! It is not the point-by-point that must be addressed, but those underlying issues.
I would like to build to the most important underlying assumption behind the argument in this paper, but alas, it is the whole assumption. Thus I have to present it here first; then I will build towards it again at the end.
The underlying assumption beneath this paper and  beneath most Christian view in the present world has three parts. The first part is that we are “saved” by Jesus' sacrifice two thousand years ago, with no view of being saved by His life inside of us now.  The second part is the complete giving up on God, that He just does not do what He says in the New Testament concerning the believer in Jesus Christ – thus everything is relegated to some future experience in a place called “heaven” to be known only after we either die or are raptured.
Then, because the “Christian” fulfillment is in “heaven only,” everything God says about this earth must mean the natural Jew and the nation of Israel. Christ AND the Jews, not Christ in us.
The final statement of the paper is this: “Mortal men will never rule over God's kingdom.”
Here is what God says: “That the life of Jesus might be revealed in our mortal flesh.”
You see, man simply does not understand the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is no relation to the kingdoms of Satan in this world. There is no part of “rule over” inside God's kingdom. The Kingdom of God is God being Himself through us, the One who lays down His life, who becomes His enemies, who carries even those who hate Him all the way into life. The kingdom of God is lifting up not “ruling over.”
The Jews did not reject Jesus nor did they work on the Romans to kill Him because He was the Messiah. They murdered Him BECAUSE He was a man just like them. They hated Him because He, walking in MORTAL FLESH, had the audacity to claim that He and the Father were One.
And it wasn't even Jesus in particular that they hated. They hated God showing up in mortal flesh. NOTHING gets people's hatred inflamed like God appearing in human flesh. They killed the flesh of God because they could.
It's God humans can't stand. It's God Christians can't stand. The idea of God far away up there is acceptable to most everyone. But God walking on this earth in human flesh is not tolerated. He must be murdered forthwith! And if we cannot murder Him, then He must be called a heretic and shunned by all.
There's only one problem, of course. God showing up on this earth IN human flesh just can't help doing kind things for others. And there are so many who are weary and heavy laden who gladly respond to His real and joy-filled kindness. And that very popular response to God's kindness threatens the entire “rule over” of those who define God and His kingdom with Satan's self-definition.
“Rule over”? Where on earth does that come from? We know exactly what God does when He shows up on this earth in human flesh. Where is there ANY “rule over”? They killed Him because His kindness threatened their false “rule over.” And all of His ire was directed, not at the sinners, but at those who miss-defined the Kingdom of God as “rule over.”
The Jews, that is, the descendants of Jacob, have not returned to the land of Israel, nor have they re-established the nation of Israel.
Twelve hundred years ago, the ruling elite of a Turko-Mongolic tribe called the Khazars, who ruled over a country stretching across all the plains of southern Russia, straight north of Jerusalem, converted to Judaism. They became “Jews.” Eight hundred years ago, the Mongols under Subodai conquered all the way to the gates of Vienna. For two hundred years the western world knew almost nothing about Russia. When the Russians finally reasserted themselves in the late 1400's, the largest “Jewish” population on earth was now found living in southern Russia.
Look at any Sephardi Jew. They are of eastern Mediterranean stock, Semitic in appearance, just like the peoples of the Middle East. Look at any Ashkenazi Jew, Khazars, they are clearly of north Asiatic stock, Japhetic, just like the “Scythians” from the plains of Russia. Human DNA tells the same story.
Ninety percent of the people in today's world who call themselves “Jews” are Khazars. They are not descended from Jacob; they have no relation with the God of Israel – unless, of course, they receive the salvation of Christ offered to all mankind without prejudice.
I suspect that the majority of those who are actually descended from Jacob are either Muslim or Christian and do not even know they are descended from Jacob. I suspect that there is almost no “purity of blood” anywhere on this planet. ALL of creation, including ALL of natural humanity died upon the cross. All. God doesn't give two figs about “racial purity.” Yet He does plan to honor Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by bringing in a remnant of their actual seed. And I suspect that most of those who are primarily descended from Jacob speak Arabic today.
Yet the Khazars who believe themselves to be “Jews” are obsessed, not with the Old Testament, per se, but with their identity as “Jews.” That identity comes out of two things. It comes first out of an endless rehashing of the Talmud, that is, the doctrine of the Pharisees written down in Babylon – the exaltation of innumerable “laws” ruling over every aspect of the human. And it comes second out of a story that those who are “Jews” tell themselves and their children over and over.
The first identity is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil taken to the most extreme form of pretending the human is capable of. To understand what I mean, to really grasp the human element of this identity, I would recommend that you read three books, all by Chaim Potok: The Chosen, The Promise, and My Name Is Asher Lev. Truth and reality are understood best by story, not by explanations such as this.
Let me insert again this absolute. Each individual person is precious beyond measure and beloved by both Jesus and us. Each individual person is unique and special and does not answer to any stereotype of a “group.” In reading books such as Chaim Potok's, we read to understand and to love with all the compassion of God. It is spiritual strongholds that operate in the imagination of people's minds, strongholds that hold these dear precious ones under a horrific bondage that we seek to break that they might walk free of all that, free to be themselves inside the tender love of God.
The greatest curse sitting upon both Khazar's and real Jews is their identity, their belief that they are “Jews.” Jesus would set them free of that identity. He does that by the cross. There are no Jews in Christ, no need to pretend any other identity.
The second part of that identity is the story that those who believe they are Jews, whether real or not, tell themselves and their children all the time. I give it here in my own words; yet I have heard these things expressed endlessly in Jewish homes and synagogues. As we drove away from the synagogue, I was compelled in my spirit to share with my children that the story they heard was darkness; we tell a story only of victory in Christ.
“We are good people, a blessing to all other people's on earth – THEY all hate us for no reason. We are God's gift to mankind – Never trust THEM, no matter how “nice” their words may be, THEY are always trying to kill us. Jews do not need any salvation; they're already wonderful – Why are all of THEM so despicable and low?”
The THEM and the THEY are all non-Jews, that is Gentiles, with the greatest distrust, with some reason, held for “Christians,” not Muslims.
Consider these words, spoken by George W. Bush: “They hate us for our freedom.”
Those are really strange words. They have no relation to the American mind of my youth. Not one American prior to the 1990's would ever think such a strange thought. Yet that thought is perpetual inside the horrific bondage of Jewish identity. The fact that the President of the United States uttered it and that “Christian” America accepted those words shows how far “Jewish” identity has been imposed on this country and on the church.
I do recommend that you read Martin Luther's essay on the Jews; you can find it on the Internet. I have read all of it and find it to be 100% accurate both to the Gospel and to the reality of life in this world. It is not anti-Semitic; no more than Jesus and Paul were. But then, by today's definitions, Jesus, Peter, and Paul were all vicious anti-Semites. That's why the New Testament is an illegal book in almost all nations today including the United States.
I do not “believe” in the Holocaust. In fact, I do not “believe” in anything except what God says concerning Christ in me. Everything else I study, and for everything else, I require evidence. I am staggered at the utter lack of forensic evidence there is for a “holocaust” of the Jews during the years 1942-1945. And I am appalled at the fact that any individual, going to Germany or Poland seeking such evidence, is immediately thrown into prison. Even the lawyers who attempt to defend those who do seek valid evidence are thrown into prison without defense. What are they hiding? What is it they cannot allow into the light of day?
In complete contrast, no nation on earth today is a greater threat to America than the nation of “Israel.” America has never faced a more dangerous or deadly enemy. The paper berates Barack Obama for not siding 100% with Israel in all of its lust for blood, even though Obama is a “Jew” – since his mother's mother is a Jew, then by Jewish definition, Obama is a Jew, and even though he has surrounded himself with Israeli Jews all through his administration. I am convinced that Obama's so-called “resistance” to Israel is 100% a paper show, but if it were actually true, it is the first thing of which I have heard that would make me think favorably of his presidency.
The United States cannot oppose Israel. If we attempt to do so, we will die in conflagrations of nuclear fire. Every president knows that. Most simply attempt to stall Israel's madness, if possible.
The paper also presents the incredible idea that Obama is really a Muslim. I wish that were true; if it were, we would be much safer. I know of no evidence whatever for that idea.
The paper makes this claim: “It was necessary that the modern state of Israel come into existence as a prelude to the Lord's return . . . Even before modern Israel was born, it's enemies mobilized to destroy it. Vastly outnumbered and lacking support from any other nation, Israel was supernaturally helped by God to destroy her enemies' forces.”
This is the story that is told, endlessly repeated. “THEY are always out to get us.” It is simply not the truth. The opposite is. Every “war” Israel/Khazaria fought was perpetrated by them for the sole purpose of demonizing the Arabs and extending their own reach and power.
In 1937, David Ben Gurion, first prime minister of Israel, wrote this line in a letter to his son: “We will expel the Arabs and take their place. In each attack, a decisive blow should be struck resulting in the destruction of homes and the expulsion of the population.”
The picture of the man who wrote those words shows us a “Scythian,” not a descendant of Abraham.
Let's look at something the media does, something that we endlessly repeat without thinking, the phrase, “Muslim terrorist.”
Do you ever hear “Jewish terrorist”? Or “Christian terrorist”? Or “atheist terrorist”?
Never. Only “Muslim terrorist.” When Jews gun down people in cold blood, like the Jewish terrorist from her own synagogue who attacked Jewish Senator Gifford in Arizona, or the Columbine school massacre, or the Springfield, Oregon, or Minnesota or Arkansas school shootings. Did you hear the news person announce: “A gang of Jewish terrorists gunned down several Christian children in cold blood at a school in Colorado today”?
No you did not. It's called “brainwashing,” and it works – powerfully – on all.
Most terrorists in today's world are atheists, and most of those are Jews. Many “terrorists” are Christians. Most terror, however, is deliberately executed by governments, primarily, today, the American government. The US government in today's world is the primary executor and sponsor of terrorism. And all who support that evil MUST give an account to God.
Israel did 9/11 with the full collaboration of American officials. That truth will come front and center before this thing is over. All vengeance for 9/11 that America wreaked upon innocent Muslim families is a war crime.
“Come out of her My people, that you not be part of her sins, so that you not partake of her plagues.”
The Muslim people's of the Middle East do not hate us or the Jews. They just have a difficulty with being burned to death in their homes. They don't like being bombed!
On the one hand, I do not view things such as hurricanes as “God's wrath against sin,” though they are the natural consequences of living in a world laboring under the curse. But on the other hand, God says, “Do not be deceived. Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” If you were to walk among the streets and by-lanes of Libya three years ago, and then walk those same streets and by-lanes today, visiting with people, sharing meals together with them in their homes, the same people, you would leave with a deep sense of horror that if God is just, if people – and nations – do reap what they sow, then what must America and Britain now reap?
Now, we find next that there is a false balance both in this paper and in the general Christian thinking concerning the two covenants.
 – The Old Covenant, shattered by Moses upon the mountainside and nailed by Christ to the cross is now binding on God? As He closes out the age of human folly? And the New Covenant in His blood, it's fulfillment in all that it says in our lives upon this earth is incidental and not binding on God? This is a false balance.
You see, because God did not do what He said He would do in the gospel in the first century of the church age, in the first generation of believers – Paul expected fully not to die – then Christianity has concluded that it means that God simply does not intend to fulfill the terms of the New Covenant on this planet. Thus all of those terms are almost violently relegated to heaven. Just raise the question of any of those terms being fulfilled in our lives now before any Christian pastor or theologian and witness the shut-down that immediately comes against you.
NOT ON THIS EARTH.
The fullness of the New Covenant fulfilled IS God in Person revealed in human flesh and flowing out of our bellies across the earth as rivers of living water.
Anti-Christ is a spirit, not a person, a spirit whose primary message is that God does not ever show up in human flesh. Yet the New Covenant is not fulfilled until He does.
There are many voices hostile to the revelation of Jesus Christ. As He appears in us, more and more, just as He said He would, as the Daystar, arising from the east and shining to the west (a metaphor), as the Daystar arising in our hearts, so the hostile voices speaking against God manifest in the flesh will also rise.
The assault will come against us from all directions and in many forms, yet all the voices boil down to the one word of the spirit of anti-Christ. Who do you think you are? Who are you kidding? God in you, perfect and complete? NOT ON THIS EARTH!
How will they prevent God from showing up on this earth again in mortal flesh? Just like He did the first time? They cannot keep God out of the earth, but mortal flesh is very killable. Not being able to kill the God who reveals Himself in mortal flesh, they will seek to kill the mortal flesh in whom God dwells.
When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 11:7-10
Now, this word is Christ. All things God speaks are Christ. And Christ is the only life we are. We are one flesh with Him.
The beast that ascends out of the pit is the natural man, the natural Jew, whether real or pretend, moving in the fullness of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, laying claim to the inheritance by violence. The “two prophets” are the second witness of Christ – His revelation inside of us.
I do not analyze this word with an analytical mind. It, along with all things God speaks in the Bible, is a Spirit word. It is life. It comes into us as we receive Christ, as a seed carrying the very life of God inside of it. The words that I speak to you are Spirit and they are life. Jesus in John 6.
I want to look at the last phrase, “tormented those who dwell on the earth.”
Always, we bring in the other word of Christ that walks alongside this word: 
Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Romans 12:20
“Those who dwell on the earth” is a metaphor for born-again Christians who do not walk in the Holy Place or who have abandoned walking in the Holy Place. Let me bring in the opening line to this chapter.
Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it . . . Revelation 11:1-2
The altar is the altar of incense. Sadly, it seems, that those believers who have once entered the Holy Place, walking in the gifts and operations of the Spirit, if they do not press on into the altar of incense, it seems that the immediate experience of the Holy Spirit fades into the background in their lives and worship. Those who have never entered the Holy Place, but live only in the thinking of their own rational minds, by the light of analytical reason, “dwell in the earth.” They believe they will one day “go to” heaven; they do not believe they live in all heaven right now.
The “torment” is simply the lights turning on.
A close friend of mine who has many family members working in the medical profession, made a comment to them about the dangerous and deadly toxins found in vaccines. He is still reeling from the response.
The entire medical profession, millions of hard-working people who imagine they are “helping” others, is built around vaccinations. The evidence against vaccinations is scientific and sound. The arguments for vaccinations are, when searched out, found to be entirely hot air. Vaccines are a death-giving assault against innocent infants that are altering permanently the entire human DNA. They exist solely so that wicked men can profit from the suffering of many. If this be true, how can anyone in the medical profession face the reality that they are evil's “willing executioners”? They cannot accept such a thing.
And so the speaker of truth MUST be ostracized, condemned, and, if possible, executed. I heard one highly credentialed medical doctor proclaim openly that other doctors who speak against vaccinations should face the death penalty.
This is how the chains of darkness sitting upon all people on this planet and upon all of our brethren operate.
To set them free, we must strike the chains. But they will defend their chains, and we must be prepared for that, just as Jesus was.
Our great desire to know God in fulness inside of us IS the nemesis of the curse upon this planet. We cannot traipse into all the knowledge of God without knowing that we are sending shock waves all through the world. But this reality is in the New Covenant in His blood, which Covenant we signed when some preacher ducked us under the water of baptism. It's all part of the package.
Yes, God showing up in mortal flesh upon this planet will cause our bodies to transform in the resurrection. But before that happens, the Scripture MUST BE fulfilled: He that says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as Jesus walked.
Yes, Jesus was declared to be the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, but before that happened, for three and one-half years, He walked as a manifested Son of God, revealing the Father as the tender, kind, caring, involved Person that He is.
God revealed in the flesh was just too much for those whose stake was cast entirely in pretending.
Yet the New Covenant MUST BE fulfilled, and it must be fulfilled on this earth and in this age.
God in Person in Fulness in us revealed for all to know. The life of Jesus apocalypsed in our mortal flesh.

CHAPTER 8 - TABERNACLES - THE FEAST OF UNITY
An Introduction To Tabernacles

And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, the branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days... Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths..." (Lev. 23:40, 42).

In the Feast of Tabernacles we have a beautiful picture of the unity of the Saints. On this notable occasion every Israelite must leave his place of dwelling, his farm, his flocks, his place of business--and assemble together in the streets of Jerusalem or along the highways, and dwell for seven days in the humble little booths which they were to construct with branches and willows and boughs of trees. They all had one common purpose in mind, to keep the Feast of the Lord in its season, and to celebrate the ingathering of their wines and oils. And if some would fear lest the enemy would attack their homes during their absence and take away their property, God promised that obedience to this ritual would be their safeguard. "Neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the Lord thy God thrice in the year." (Ex. 34:24).

If the saints of God could only see the glory of the Feast of Tabernacles which even now looms before us, they could not possibly be in doubt or fear concerning their little fenced plots of sectarianism and division; and they would joyfully assemble together in the streets of Jerusalem and keep this glorious Feast. Let us be assured of this, our only safeguard rests in obedience to the Lord and a willingness to follow in the path which He shall choose for us. And if God reveals, as He does in this present hour, that the Body of Christ is being firmly knit together by the Spirit to form a vital, living organism, operating in the power of the Holy Spirit--then obedience to that revelation is all that matters. God will look after our property; our pet doctrines, our theories, our little churches, our opinions, our ambitions, and so forth. If any of these are of God, He will preserve them for us; if not, then who is concerned about maintaining them?

What then is involved in the revelation of the Body of Christ? Briefly and simply it is this: that henceforth we must learn to minister and function as members of that Body, and not as members of a sect or a denomination. In other words, we must recognize that the Body of Christ is a spiritual organism, whose Head is in Heaven, and whose very life and being is in the Holy Spirit Himself. If any individual or group of individuals is unwilling to recognize the Holy Spirit as the life of the Body, and His ministries as the faculties of the Body, then a "sect" is born. The word "sect" from the original Greek means 'opinion', 'sentiment', 'party'. Therefore it is quite possible to have non-sectarian sects, as well as sectarian sects. That is to say, it is not necessary to belong to a religious system in order to be a "sect." There are many sects who loudly denounce the whole ecclesiastical system--but they themselves are the most sectarian of any. To be a member of a "sect" all one has to do is to refuse to recognize the ministries which God is raising up and setting in their place in the Body of Christ. To be non-sectarian it is not sufficient to withdraw from the maze of religious schemes abroad in the world today; but we must become a vital member in the Body of Christ, functioning according to the power of the Holy Spirit, and in the place and ministry which God has ordained for us in the Body.

IS THIS UNITY POSSIBLE?

It is amazing how unbelieving a believer can become. One might as well call Christ a liar, and his apostles false witnesses of God, as to deny that God is going to have a Body functioning in absolute unity of the Spirit, with each member in his proper place, and all members working together as one harmonious whole. Here again, there is only one reason why "believers" refuse to believe it, and it is because we have never seen it either in our own experience

 or in the history of the Church, and it is scarcely visible in the days of the early apostolic Church. When will the saints of God realize that the sins of Israel are recorded in the Word "to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted" (1 Cor. 10:6). The story of strife and division and corruption that is recorded in God's Word concerning God's people is for one purpose, namely, that we should not follow in their pathway of disobedience. And the Church's long and bitter history of disunity and strife does not prove that God's Word means disunity when it speaks of unity. If God said it, it is going to come to pass; and if Jesus prayed for it, not all the devices of Satan can prevent the glorious fulfillment of that prayer of faith.

THE INTERCESSION OF CHRIST

Let us examine briefly John 17, where we have the request of the Son of God for this vital union among the saints:

"Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are..."

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."

Surely this marvelous prayer needs little comment. The unity for which Christ prayed, and which the Father is duty-bound to create, is going to be fulfilled. It is a unity both inexpressible and exquisite: "Even as we are one..." As surely as the Father tabernacles in the Son, speaking through Him, thinking through Him, walking in Him, working with Him... so shall it be in the Sons of God. They shall have "the mind of Christ," and therefore they shall be "perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment" (1 Cor. 1:10; 2:16). The many members shall function as the members of the human body, in unity and harmony of purpose (1 Cor. 12:13, 14). They shall "be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind" (Phil. 2:2). They shall have the mind in them "which was also in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 2:5). Unthinkable! Yes, but God is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that we can ask or think!

THE MEANS TO THIS END

It is because such a measure of unity and harmony is so positively beyond us, and almost inconceivable, that men refuse to believe it is possible. And of course, it is impossible. But with God "all things are possible." Let us not limit the Holy One of Israel. For God has established a sure and a certain means by which this inexpressible unity is going to be brought into being, even the ministries of "apostles, ...prophets, ...evangelists, ...pastors, ...teachers." These are given, we are told, "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry,..." Step by step the work is brought to pass: the ministries perfect the saints, and they in turn are empowered "for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ; till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ" (Eph. 4:13). Thank God the hour is at hand when this glorious unity for which Christ prayed, and for which He ascended on high and bestowed gifts unto men, is about to be manifested. Ministries are being raised up and established in the Body of Christ--and these constitute Christ's love-gift to the Church for their perfection. Will they bring this unity to pass? To doubt it is to doubt God's Word. It is not a case of rejecting man, because of his faults and failures; but to reject the God-ordained ministry is to reject God who gave him. Many would much rather prefer to perfect themselves through prayer, fasting, reading the Word, and so forth. These, of course, all have their place, and will do much to prepare the heart and soul. But in themselves they will not produce this perfection. God has ordained ministries in the Body by which this perfection shall come to pass. To refuse the ministries, then, is to say to Christ: "I don't need your Ascension Gifts. I prefer to be perfected some other way."

WHAT ARE THE SIGNS OF CHRIST'S MINISTERS?

The sincere saints of God are being subjected to a great test; of that there is no question. For they are being called upon to receive God's ministers on the one hand, and to refuse the false minister on the other hand. And in this great hour when God is establishing His ministries in the Body of Christ, Satan is likewise sending forth His ministers of light; and we must learn to discern the true from the false. Truly the saints are like the multitudes over whom Christ yearned in the days of His earthly ministry--for He beheld them as sheep having no shepherd. Yes, there were Scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees, men who loved to wear the garb of religion, and say long prayers, and receive greetings in the marketplace, and to be called "Father," and receive the applause of men. But there were no true shepherds. Even Paul in his day was forced to testify: "For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's" (Phil. 2:21). It is therefore with the greatest concern and tenderness that the Holy Spirit doth now raise up true ministers in the Body of Christ to establish the saints, and to lead them in the path of righteousness. And though it might be difficult for us to discern the true from the false, if we will pay good heed to God's Word, and the pattern of the true minister as outlined therein, we shall not go astray. Here are a few ways and means by which we shall be able to discern the true from the false:

THE TRUE MINISTER WILL LOVE THE FLOCK

The good shepherd, Jesus tells us, will be prepared to lay down his life for the sheep. (Jn. 10:11). In this hour of comparative security and ease, there are thousands of hirelings ruling over the sheep. But let persecution come our way, or let some difficulty arise in the assembly that is apt to prove dangerous to the minister,--and the hireling will flee because he is a hireling and careth not for the sheep. But the true shepherd will lay down his life for the sheep.

THE TRUE MINISTER WILL NOT BE COVETOUS

The size of the congregation, the amount of money one is to receive, the kind of place a man will have to live in--these will not matter to the true minister. He will as readily preach to the ones and the twos, as to the hundreds and thousands. And if necessary, he will work with his own hands to sustain himself, rather than burden the flock. Paul said, "I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound..." (Phil. 4:12). Very few "know how to abound." Riches have deceived many and ruined their ministry. The true minister, as a pattern of the flock, must know how to suffer hardship in times of difficulty, and to use the world without "abusing it" in times of plenty.

THE TRUE MINISTER WILL SHOW THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

Jesus said, "By their fruits ye shall know them." We must admit there is a woeful lack of the real fruit of the Spirit everywhere; but it is beginning, nevertheless, to become manifest in those who are going on with God. And this fruit shall be the final test: "Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith (fulness), meekness, temperance (self-control)..." (Gal. 5:22, 23).

THE TRUE MINISTER SHALL NOT SEEK HIS OWN GLORY

"He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true..." (Jn. 7:18). It is usually not difficult to discern whether the minister is taking the glory unto himself, or ascribing all the glory unto Christ. The true minister will exalt Christ, and Christ only; and not merely with lipservice, but from the heart.

THE TRUE MINISTER SHALL DISCERN THE BODY

He shall recognize the ministries which God is beginning, and will continue, to establish in the Church. God is going to vindicate his true ministers so that there will be no confusion in the minds of those who are really seeking to follow the Lord. The ministries will be contested, as with any ministry God ever established in Old Testament or New. They contested the authority of Moses, of Aaron, of Elijah, of Elisha, of David, of Solomon, of Jeremiah, of all the prophets, and of Christ Himself. But God vindicated them all in one way or another--and in such a manner that the people feared God, knowing that of a truth they were His chosen. The ministries will not be established by self-appointment, nor by human-appointment, but by Divine Appointment; their word shall be with power and authority, and not as the Scribes; and the servants of Christ shall recognize and acknowledge them.

Cycling back from leaving the car with a garage, I passed the Station Theatre Hayling. And was thinking this. Outsiders, seeing  an advert for a play would be misled by a wrong image of the venue. Not so, right? So, it'll be a bunch of adhoc strolling players on a station platform between trains?

stopped running in 1963. The terminus station in West Town was the plot of land that is now Station Theatre which is where the local Am Dram players tread the boards.

And I got to thinking unless you've got local knowledge, you can't half be misled.

Modern Christians hardly understand that Christianity comes out of Judaism. Those that do usually haven't much actual Spirit revelation. Jews themselves have a lot of "local knowledge" of the Bible and background because many are still living it,(see my latest blogpost the "True Sukkot"), but they don't know Jesus, so they only understand something of the outer forms. Those Jews that have come to know the Messiah usually understand Jesus the Passover Lamb, and Jesus the Baptiser in the Spirit (the fulfilment of Pentecost), but I am not sure I have met one yet who understands what product Jesus was really importing when He came to earth.

Pentecostals are terrors! They go brandishing their revelation on all and sundry and everything in the New Testament has to be bashed into place, hammered down here, hammered down there, squeezed in a bit there, twisted a bit there...and   "AAAAAh ! That's better....raise your hands, shout whoop whoop, speak in tongues, get saved from hell and Bob's yer uncle! Anybody spare me a tithe while I race round the Earth holding crusades?"

Unless we "get" the Jewish Feasts we really haven't a clue about what Jesus was doing.
I mean, according to Anglican,Baptist,Charismatic,Catholic ,Network Church,Terry Virgo, Alan Vincent it is normal for a Spirit filled man of God as in John 7:37-38, to go into the centre of a busy city like Guildford, UK,and shout by the Spirit at the top of your lungs  "
“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

May I just suggest quietly that while this may be in your soulwinner's Guide, and it may still work in Africa before the novelty wears off, in Britain it will be regarded alongside nervous ticks, and compulsive speech like Tourette's Syndrome.

A Pentecostal hasn't got time for learning the whole picture because the world has to be saved by lunchtime! So he or she is rushing around convinced that any talk of the Holy Spirit, and Water, and Living Waters is to do with a Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and running meetings at this feverishly high pace before the anointing wears off!

Here's where the local knowledge comes in.
John 7: 37-38  performs exactly the same function as the verse Catholics have messed up here in this chapter:
Luke 22:7  Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.....
:19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”  20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Luke 22 actually was the final feast Jesus celebrated with them, which was Passover. But as those words left Jesus's lips He was, by the Spirit within Him kicking off the ONE TRUE PASSOVER that has ever existed.  How awesome is that? To go  from virtual rehearsal mode, as had been done in exactly the same way since the celebration began in real time as the Israelites left Egypt.....to the TOTAL REALITY of it, by just speaking into existence by the Spirit, those very words.
From the moment He uttered them,the machinery started working...it was only a matter of time before the authorities would come for him, via Judas who kicked off from that very moment!

So back to John 7. Jesus "went up in secret" to this Feast. What was this Feast?
"Please sir, please sir,me , me, "
Pentecostals, put your hand down! You are wrong. It's not Pentecost.
 It's the Feast of Tabernacles which is being held right now in Israel and among Jews everywhere.
Now in John 7, Jesus did not spend the whole chapter in Tourette's mode, just as He never stood on a table at Passover screaming as loud as He could to the disciples..."This is My Body".

But in verse 37-38 of John 7  He was loud.

Why?   Because this is the FINALE of all 3 Feasts in the Jewish year. This is the denouement! This is what all the agricultural year has been about. This is the Harvest of Harvests. This is the Feast of Ingathering of all that has been sown. This is the Day of the Early Rains which kicks off another year's sowing with the seed that you have just gathered. This is the loudest Feast there is in Israel. This is the Feast Day of the Pouring of the water. This is when Jews freak out! This is a Feast of Total Joy. This is a Feast, apart from wedding celebrations, which gave birth to the clarinet, which  gave birth to the inspiration of a whole ton of music in the world. This is the feast when Jews link hands and dance and dance and dance.

It was loud. Jesus had to shout!
It was in context!
He is that Final Feast.
He is the completion, the capstone that gets shouted to: "Grace to it , grace to it!"

We see a Pentecost version of what the Fulness of Tabernacles is on the Day of Pentecost BECAUSE
while the 3,000 were crashing the gates of the Kingdom in Acts 2, in a kind of "Feast of Ingathering "type of way, which is very much a Feast of Tabernacles concept....

ONLY the 12 apostles at that point were packed with FEAST OF TABERNACLES revelation of Christ in them as them,the rest of the 3000 had to learn it....but they probably got about 10 years download of revelation on that one day.
So for the 3000, it was Pentecost.Pentecost outside as a Jewish Festival, and Pentecost as an inundation of God's Spirit which we experience as Baptism in the Holy Spirit.For the apostles, it was the first culmination of a whole lot of "inner celebration" that had taken place living with Jesus for 3 years.So for them, it was like a living enactment of the Feast of Tabernacles. All the components were there. And so the seedtime harvest cycle kicked off in the Kingdom of God. One generations Tabernacles giving birth to another generation's Passover and Pentecost...

Ever wheels within wheels that Ezekiel saw in his vision.

Hmmm. But consider this!
There's a DAY of Passover. The angel passed over Israel in one day as they left Egypt.Jesus died on ONE DAY.
There's a Day of Pentecost. You are baptised in the Spirit in one "beginning" experience of a whole load!
But Tabernacles is a 7 DAY FEAST.  It's a PERIOD!  For the apostles it was until they were brutally murdered.Martyred.

Consider this too. Jesus lived thirty years of Tabernacle Life. For this is the other side of Tabernacles. Once you have been made aware of the glories of heaven, it seems like God pares away at your whole existence to remove everything but what is essential. Your life is reduced to a booth of His indwelling. Were His life not real, it would be most unsatisfactory. However the Cross, your awakening to your own Death in Him 2000 years ago, and His subsequent resurrection in you, His coming in you, is so satisfactory....you begin to develop a genuine form of Tourette's just like Jesus had in John 7: 37-8.   Wow, God You are amazing!...Whoop whoop

Just one thing though. This isn't an anointing that wears off. It comes from your own belly now, like a permanent roar!
Jesus is LORD. Jesus is ALIVE. Jesus is in ME NOW! Look out world!

The other side of Tabernacles....remember  "there was evening, there was morning, the first day." God begins His days in the evening!!!  The other side of Tabernacles, like in the wilderness, was experienced in His 40 days of temptation in th Wilderness. And as we subsequently find in our lives, especially after the baptism in the Holy Spirit...

OUR WAY OUT of this seemingly crazy existence is by WORD forming on our insides, which we declare and confess with our lips. Jesus was tested after 40 days, when He hungered. After 40 days this is a different form of hunger. This is when your fat reserves have been gone through, now your body starts to break down vital organs to live from. Your own cannibalism begins!!!! But in this weakness Word formed on His insides which He declared back at the devil's 3 main areas of  provocation.

I am aware that Pentecostals and charismatics just wont get this article because they fit the whole of life into a 2 layer approach: Repent, Be filled with the Spirit. PERIOD.

But Jesus throws the whole thing by living for 30 years doing nothing too special and then getting baptised in the Spirit at His water baptism in Jordan. No Pentecoastal has an answer for that one. Just an embarrassing silence. Because as we all know Jesus should have been racing round Israel long before this at least with tracts, if He couldn't do anything else.

But a Pentecostal "doesnt get" just being. He doesn't understand Genesis 3 and how "just being" was twisted completely for all time. So Jesus just living as "the Son of Man", just being, remaining in the Father....was HUUUUUUGE!
Forget the tracts. Forget the high street paraphernalia. Forget that loud brash voice you regale everyone with.
Jesus spent 30 years just BEING in the Father.
AND THEN HE WAS ANOINTED FOR MINISTRY!   And that was only a limited LICENSE. The God, who at the right hand of the Father had been Wisdom at the very birth of Creation....was now, a man, at last baptised in the Spirit,
but given less territory than Morris Cerullo,Benny Hinn or Rheinhard Bonnke. He was only sent to preach to Israel.

Well that's a rum do!. The Father couldn't like Jesus very much!

No. Primarily just BEING in the Father is enough. Then receiving an anointing to be able to impart that BEING is quite enough, even on a local scale.

But you see, that's not really what Rheinhard Bonnke, Morris Cerullo and Benny Hinn are exporting is it? There's not much talk of" being" at all.
Because BEING is a Tabernacle revelation.

Francois DuToit and Andre Rabe are being used incredibly to provide the Body with keys about "BEING". I think it is fair to say that neither of them have a clue what they are doing in Tabernacle terms. The Jewish Feasts are pretty unknown to them. In fact they are more about "leaving the elementary things " of Feasts and ceremonial washings and dumping every last shred of religion, and pressing into the INNER FORM which is Christ.

Except that the Jewish Feasts were not a product of a man's mind or a committee. Those celebrating the original versions didn't really have a clue what they were doing it for. David meditated for hours about it all in the Tabernacle as it says in Psalms.  Moses fasted not 40 days, but 80 days. The last 40 were supernatural!
He was face to face with God when He instituted the Tabernacle and the Feasts, which were just outer poor copies of what God has always been about:
Moving HEAVEN into flesh BODIES.
First Jesus, the Firstborn of Many Brethren.

The problem with having no knowledge about a subject.....say for instance the position of the Earth in the Universe. The problem isn't that we don't know that the sun is actually at the centre of our solar system and we, as planets, cycle round it. The problem is that the space that should have been filled with true knowledge gets filled with junk. So when the true knowledge comes along, we have no space for it. So we say..."no...you are wrong....as everyone knows the sun goes round the earth. The Earth is the centre of all things."

Jesus says, "In my house are many mansions." We say," No there's not, there's one. Salvation."
A Pentecostal sidles up and butts in, as they do, "No there's two mansions. Salvation and Baptism in the Spirit."
Others join until there is a loud roar. Someone else comes up "Ummmm. There's at least 3, possibly more. Think about the Jewish feasts. Or the 3 growth stages of a butterfly."
"Oh, just go away will you, you're making things far too complicated. There's just Jesus."

We have routinely "missed" every new revealtion coming out of heaven, and the earth is scattered with empty shells of inadequate believing systems called churches, all paid for at great expense in previous centuries, out of people's enforced "tithes". All now derelict, empty, or  Turkish Carpet shops.

Just how long are we going to pursue God in this crazy way? Missing Him with each new generational revelation?

The Kingdom Comes
In the beginning of the Kingdom there was a lone prophet called John, standing in the wilderness sent to proclaim its coming.
Jesus said of John, of the sons of men there is none greater, but even the least in the Kingdom would be greater.
There was nothing greater about the apostles. They were all ordinary guys. What made them "greater" than John was that this was "the time appointed" for the activation of the Kingdom of God through the "0n" switch that was the manifest life of the second Person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ who grew up in Nazareth.

The three training years with Jesus was a collapsed form of the complete revelation that is
the revelation of God as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Anybody who has anything to do with God as one "willing" and "hungry" will find themselves on a kind of Divine seminary course where God will transplant into you
in different times
in different ways
in different orders
over different lengths of time periods
in different , unique manifestations
the revelation of the God of Abraham - God who is our faith and justification apart from works, and our introduction to the Melchizedek order and the faith life in general
the revelation of the God of Isaac- which is the grace manifestation of supernatural wells of salvation and power - the powers of the age to come - baptism in the Holy Spirit and anointings- some we have seen- many wacky ones still to come
the revelation of the God of Jacob - where God takes you on deeper supernatural roads - but where He deals with the very root of your identity - where like Jacob also - the most profound hunger takes place in you to want to be "of that eternal Company who seeks the face of the God of Jacob AND YOU PREVAIL - having your name, your root identity completely changed by a new revelation of the Cross.

Churches,assemblies,groups of Christians are no different.
The most helpful picture of this is given by Ezekiel when he describes the workings of God, the very atmosphere of his functionings, as WHEELS within WHEELS.

If you are in a church you are somewhere in this route march at a corporate level.
Historically we are somewhere in this arc of revelation too. But this is on a global, much wider fulfilment.

It is hopeless. from a perspective of justification to compare John the Baptist with the Kingdom.
His unique role was to round up the previous order and announce the new.
It is hopeless to look at a 1700s saint, praying for 6 months with fasting, for an inner confirmation of salvation, to draw any firm conclusions about our commitment and his or her commitment. the fact that they were prepared to stand alone - to stick out among their peers- to seek God with desperation at a time when most of London were drunkards and brawlers....is an amazing comment on who they were.

But, that, at least in the living part of today's church, we don't now have to do that, but simply respond to a gospel message, is just a comment on how the faith level for an experience of salvation has risen over the 300 years since.

Church history IS NOT the account of God’s failure.
I wrote to someone the other day that the "apparent" failure of Church history is not failure at all really.
God has a Divine filter system called His Son Jesus. Church history, like a massive Romans 7 sweep, is a record of us trying to "do" Christianity. Largely, it hasn't passed the Jesus filter test. But without the "trying" we would never have found what DIDNT work.

The Divine seed of the gospel of the revelation of Jesus Christ, had after its initial blooming, to fall again into the ground in order to rise again in a completely unhindered form. For as free as the initial churches were, including the penetration by Paul and others into huge swathes of Asia Minor, India,Africa,and Europe, the seeds of the original outward form: Judaism were still present.

In the Old Testament and on into Jesus own life in Judea, we are presented with both:
the pure streams of revelation coming through the main Biblical chracters
as well as the BAD things, even in the heroes such as David, Noah, and Moses.
We see also, later in Israel's history the "mad desire" to have a King,to be like other nations, to succomb again to Pyramid living. "It's not you they have rejected Samuel, it is I the Lord"
We see the structures, the strictures...the complicated adherences to "tithing dill, mint and cumin" while missing altogether simply looking after those around you. All this Jesus railed against.

So, Church history, far from being a foundation Pillar for Dawkins-style atheism, should be seen in the context of Jesus' own parable.
The (good)Farmer sows His seed in the field, then an Enemy comes at night and plants his wicked seed.In this case the seed of "earning your salvation","works religion". Counter-intuitively, both seed types are to be left in the same field to grow up together. Why? Because of the law that "by these fruits shall ye know them". In other words, because of this law of outer manifestation of inward realities,the contrast would be EVEN more stark than if they were in separate fields, and by it, the good seed becomes even more resilient.
This same methodology has been used on Jewish history. The very God-hatred that is centered on the Jew for bearing the Name of God through history, has meant that when they leave their furnaces of affliction - be it pogroms in Russia or Ausschwitz or wherever scattered....normal life is a doddle...so they rise to the cream of the crop in intellectual life, creative media, science,educatiion and government. The very idiocy perpetrated against them as they stand for God's Name and calling in the Earth, actually aids the fulfiment of those same prophecies given millennia ago. This is the Joseph principle we see in his life in Genesis, rising instead of falling, to become 2nd in command in Egypt itself.
Does this mean we should continue persecuting God's natural Israel just so they are more able to fulfil scripture? No way!Have you seen the equally valid prophetic scriptures which describe the end of those who lay a finger on Israel? Look them up.

The Death of the Church Seed
So the revelation of Christ as expressed through "the Vision of the Glorious Church,His Bride" had, itself to go into the ground and die.
Every trace of good idea.

Tradition of man.Way of man.Theory of what Christianity was.Human tendency to go down into Egypt and borrow a set of steeds for going out and doing battle humanly...
had to crash down in failure as it collided with some immutable verses of scripture
"Not by might, nor by power but by my Spirit" says the Lord
"Neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem shall they worship Me, but in time to come people will worship in Spirit and in Truth."
and of the final cry as the capstone is heaved into place with the shouts of "Grace to it, Grace to it".

And in the midst of the middle ages rubble , the very first glimpse of a stalk broke through the surface of the parched spiritual desert. Just as hard as it is to imagine that 2 merged and rapidly dividing cells can ever form themselves into a human being, so it is hard to imagine that from a simple declaration of faith from Martin Luther....that we are justified by faith alone....could be the signal throughout the Earth for a return of the spiritual tide.

And little by little in God's timing dashes of revelation have been coming down out of heaven. With each revelation comes a tearing, a breaking away from the mediaeval atrocity that the church had become.

What is the nature of this revelation? It is the UNENCUMBERED heavenly blue print that is the fulfilment of the Word Jesus prophesied...they shall worship in Spirit and Truth. Because, like Paul's prefiguring writings, the teachings and revelations come pure out of heaven
they don't come by Man
they are not tainted with University degrees
they are not infested with ecclesiastical baggage
and they are above all quite simple, but contain within them the Power of God.
They contain the very means needed to get us from stage A to the next stage B.

How is this described in the book of Hebrews? Paul talks of the "Heavenly Tabernacle".

The heavenly Tabernacle
Christians through lack of revelation, think of the Tabernacle as an old Testament Pattern that Jesus fulfilled and did away with.
When, as recent key of David meetings have been revealing, the heavenly Tabernacle is God's House. It's where He's always dwelt. The earthly Old testament pattern was a rather weak and weedy graphic example of the heavenly original.

I insert this paragraph about David Swan's "Moving Into the Holy of Holies" not because I learned this information through him. I ,like many in our generation have had to learn by gleaning what we could from third level ministries who could squeeze through the filter system of a UK charismatic movement run in the main by clever leftbrain souls who unfortunately came into a leadership vacuum before they had actually progressed far in the Spirit themselves. But better they did, and hold the thing together while we were learning, rather than the even more hidebound denominational systems on the Continent of Europe.I picked this one up off a RiverCamp bookstall last summer. (This year Heidi Baker will be among those speaking) This book is rare in that perhaps even more than the George Warnock material, it captures just about every Bible picture and reference to the three stages of growth. If you've asked Jesus into your heart, then today you have to do with the heavenly and first and only real version.....the True Tabernacle not made with hands. Each piece of furniture represents a piece of pure revelation that has been given by the Holy Spirit in His time scale, at the appointed time, to those hungry for the Now Word of Jesus in the Earth.
Martin Luther and others uncovered Faith apart from works: the First and Only way of entering God's House through the work accomplished by Jesus at the Cross.The Brazen Altar.
Next came the Anabaptists who rediscovered Water baptism by immersion for believers only. This is God's pattern for baptism as represented by the Laver...where we are washed clean...both in baptism as the outward sign and inwardly by the "washing of water with the word".

Beyond these two pieces which are in the Outer Court, is the second area of the tabernacle: The Holy Place. There is no natural light here. The only light is the candlestand. This whole area marks out the area of the supernatural church.
This was marked in history at the beginning of the 20th century with the birth of the Pentecostal church, then as the ideas began to break into the traditional denominations, what came to be known as the charismatic movement. This later became the new independent churches who explored these areas more thoroughly.

THERE WAS A WHOLE UNDISCOVERED THIRD AREA or LEVEL that the present day church knew nothing of corporately…but that individuals had been entering into for generations, and sometimes leaving writings for us, namely Jacob Boehme, Fenelon, Madame Guyon, Brother Lawrence and so on and so on.
