Why must we doggedly stick with this 3rd level schtick? (or Will the True Body please stand)

Five string rendering(my top E has broken) feel like Seasick Steve.

Introduction to the Face book Note, included only here in this post.

How is the Third level different?

1.Why the 3rd level is hard to fake

Psalm 131 (New American Standard Bible)

Childlike Trust in the LORD.
A Song of Ascents, of David.
1 O LORD,
point A.my heart is not proud,
point B.nor my eyes haughty;
point C Nor do I involve myself in great matters,
Or in things too difficult for me.

2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul;
Like a weaned child rests against his mother,
My soul is like a weaned child within me.

3O Israel, hope in the LORD
From this time forth and forever.

Every Christian move up to now has been faked quite well.
In Tabernacle terms we have now reached the bit after the charismatic Holy Place.
The altar of incense
Like all Spirit driven realities, this is an interior reality. But this surely is the place beyond which all fakery cannot go.
What do I mean by fakery? Well here is an example. After the hardline approach of pastors in the wake of what was originally a Spirit –driven model
of shepherding (how do I know its origin? Because us Jesus people knew nothing and had to learn from scratch, then lived shepherding as a Spirit reality in the early 70s before it went pyramid).
In the 90s a softer model of pastoring was proliferated whose “catch phrase” became “ministries are here to serve”. If anyone saw Toy Story 3 you will know how well this was caught in another context by the “benign patronisations” of the big cuddly bear who was then revealed later for his true Hitler/Stalinesque quality.
Several things happen at the altar of incense.
The rubber meets the road.
Evangelicals who have studiously avoided the supernatural, usually because of terror and fear have to finally face the fact that Jesus is Spirit. He runs His Kingdom that way. Flesh driven Kingdom just won’t do, and beyond this point it has the harshest penalties.

What has been winked up until this point terminates right here.
But this is also where the promised Smith Wigglesworth prophecy becomes true. This was the prophecy about the last great Move being a Spirit AND Word move.

The Las Vegas “wide-boy” aspect of the charismatic movement
ENDS RIGHT HERE ALSO. And you can see this in the above Psalm.
This is where the 12 loaves of the separated church in the Holy Place become ONE THING, ONE LOAF, “UNA COSA”.
The key to the evangelical charismatic divide with Holy Spirit specs on is this:
Apart from the obvious split on both attitudes to the Holy Spirit, there is a much more subtle one that disappears right here in the Heavenly Tabernacle beyond the altar of Incense.

While charismatics point to evangelicals and say they are almost totally ignoring the ONLY ONE whose job it is to remain on Earth to prepare a Bride : the Holy Spirit, who by the way was typified by the servant in the lead up to Isaac getting married in Genesis. On the other hand many evangelicals have been made aware of the “exchanged life” and how radical that revelation is.
The fact that it really is not I who live, but Christ who has made a complete exchange at our inner centre. They look at a charismatic and see some kind of anointing ,but marring that is this whole Las Vegas “Look at me “ aspect to CHRISTIAN TV type ministries that makes everyone want to puke.
Hmmmm. But after the altar of incense experience everyone loses their labels.
The Altar of Incense is positioned in roughly the same sequential position -
  • in the Psalms of Ascents around 130-131 (Psalm sequence describing the approach to God's Temple Psalms 120 -134 )
  • as it does in the Feasts
(ie the Day of Atonement, the first part of the 3rd Feast of Tabernacles)
  • and at the crossover between the Holy Place and the Holiest of Holies

Evangelicals lose their label....they are just in Christ
Charismatics lose their label....they are just in Christ.

This “pride of life “ existence that is a part of the virus that we inherited in the Fall is finally Holy Spirited out of us. It is a heart operation only the Holy Spirit can do. He is the one in the end who writes the New Covenant right through our heart like lettering in a stick of rock.
The whole definition of this blog, originating from the Bible viewed as a whole package through Watchman Nee,Graham Pulkingham, Mother Basilea Schlink, Ed Miller and Norman Grubb and others since, especially Rich Novek and Daniel Yordy online, is that
by realising there is no “separate existence” to Christ....that the very “spirit “ we catch ourselves in if we dare try to live this way, actually was sown in us in Genesis 3, and now since conversion it is Christ Himself who has properly taken up residence inside, we now start to have this “weaned soul”, that is not proud, that doesn’t view others from some spiritual elite leadership enclave. The barriers, all barriers are down.
Christ is not proud. He loves with open arms. We don’t have to fake humility. We dont have to behave as if we are humble.
There is NO “WE” THERE to do anything. We are not peas in a pod sharing the space with Christ. He took every part of us into the grave with Him , and when Jesus was raised, it says He raised us up with Him, interleaved, interwoven with Him. What we “do” Watchman Nee says is believe it. In Romans 6, “Reckon it”. When I was 13 I did a potted version of Watchman Nee’s Normal Christian Life for my friends. So I have done 39 years reckoning. It isn’t “time duration”, it’s depth of Holy Spirit work. For the disciples it was 3 super intense years only with Jesus Himself, and that was sufficient to launch the Church in all its purity, splendour and anointing.
Makes you wonder what on earth the charismatic churches have been doing!
Like a weaned child rests against his mother
is the nearest the Psalmist could get to the Union reality of Christ in our form.
Not getting ourselves involved with great things.........you can imagine what kind of religious fakery could come out of that statement if treated like a “lawbook”. No it is a Spirit reality where we confine ourselves to what we see Jesus doing. This was the walk patterned for us by Christ, who only did what He saw the Father doing.
Yet paradoxically....only restricting yourself to Christ ( see Lonnie Frisbee and the power he moved in, and the fact that in all parts of the world where he went, people pinpoint their heritage to his visit) is not a restriction! John said about Jesus, if everything was written down I don’t suppose the world is big enough to contain it.

2.What is so hard to take about 3rd Levellers?
That which is hard is this.
If you don’t know that Jesus is that real. If you don’t know that He means what He says to each Christian:
You must fall like a seed into the ground. You must, like a buried seed allow yourself to disintegrate and be brought forth by the Holy Spirit into a completely new resurrected form like unto a complete plant which itself shoots up carrying fresh seed.
If you still think of yourself in separation. As a “Christian pressing hard into a separate God”
you’re going to have a lot of problem with a Christian saying He is Christ in his form. The whole thing just isn’t going to compute. You are going to call that Christian arrogant, prideful . But instead you are betraying where your inner believing, your inner consciousness is. Either
not even in the Tabernacle
or may be in the Tabernacle , but only the part that deals with forgiveness of sins, the outer courts,
or maybe still further , in the Holy Place, but as one of 12 very separate loaves
and definitely not beyond the Altar of Incense.
Beyond this point, no man in his delusion of “separateness” goes.
Your life goes up in smoke. Everything you tried before that worked, now fails. Every last bit of control you thought you had in your life becomes unswitched. The only thing left to cling onto is the reality of Jesus alone.
Norman Grubb wrote a simple phrase:
Whatever we take , takes us.
Whatever it be that we choose : job, relationship, interest, ends up by taking hold of us.
That is particularly why there is no real sexual union without marriage. The marriage is not the paper. The marriage or “stolen union” is still union. For the rest of your life some part of you is theirs, and they are some part of you.
If you fail to acknowledge any “final bottom line” which is the agreement that goes with physical union it leads to a confusion between two states. It leads to a fracturing of the reality you are trying to live.
In Christianity, the third level comes after a long period (of indeterminate length) of you binding around you, reckoning upon the validity of
God’s spoken promises in His Word about you, and what the Cross has done for you.
And what or in this case WHO you take, takes YOU.

As Daniel Yordy is pointing out continually in his writings about the Body of Christ : the manifestation of sons can only take place in this level of inner seeing.
Without the believing in your heart, the confession of your mouth, which is the faith process, how are you going to get the manifestation? And it is this manifestation that glorifies God.

He did not make a particularly big thing of Jesus resurrection. A couple of angels at most. Then Jesus gets mistaken for a gardner. That’s how commonplace and ordinary the scene was. As if nothing had ever happened. Which, in a somewhat scaled down form, is exactly how it is in the 3rd level.
We’ve been stretched, thought we’d lost our mind, laughed at, scorned, had a lot stolen from us...if not always literally...by virtue of the frequency with which people pass over us. Nobody “gets” what is happening to us, least of all us! We’ve tried and failed very hard. We’ve tried not at all. Neither made any difference. Onlookers see this “burning bush” always appearing to be set on fire and in some state of emergency, yet never being burned up. We keep “looking” absolutely normal, as if we are in the eye of the storm, and scarcely know there is one.

Yet all the time, like the 5 wise virgins in the Parable of the 10 virgins,Matthew 25, we’re nipping down the store for more oil. All 10 had some oil. But it is the 5 who are nipping down for more, come rain, come shine, come hail, come crawling, come limping, come dancing, come marriage, come business success, come business failure. A lot are reading “church” for “store” into this. It’s more subtle than church. However you are getting that Word, it is by “hearing with faith”, binding it around you, making it yours. So when you at last open your mouth
A LION’s ROAR, pressed down, squashed in,jammed in,
comes exploding out.......HALLELUJAH....I’m ALIVE IN JESUS. And this is practically with no anointing.
You wait until the vat of anointing oil of Psalm 133 gets tipped over a group of virgins like that......!!!! External special anointing oil poured on top of an explosive cocktail of inner anointing..... KAAAAABOOOOOOOOM!

Beginning of Facebook Note of this blog post title

" Why must we doggedly stick with this 3rd level schtick?" A friend , a dear friend, phoned to say again yesterday.

We can all see the dangers. I am greater than thou because I am on such and such a level.

Well being "on a level" can just be left-brain talk. Collecting levels a bit like a train-spotter collecting train numbers from an overhead bridge. With a similar detachment.

Hmmm. Except you are nolonger detached. Andre Ousterhuzen, Francois Du Toit and Andre Rabe, for three, make sure that there is only one thing you know. That your essence, the only essence that matters, the one designed way before the fall, way before creation was even spoken into being....the unique you, was designed by God and will only ever "really work" properly in Christ, which is the One in whom we are always intended to be. Enough of "special levels", in the sense that like it or lump it...

you're already there...

You see God didn't even ask your permission. Everything coming in between you and God, and I mean everything, was tasted by Jesus, gained power over by Jesus, then yanked by the scruff of the neck down in His Body, in a most awful death, because that way....

pulling it down with Him to the gates of hell

He could be sure we were never going to be bothered with it again.

You see He left it there. To rot.

With the roots withered, anything that is still continuing now is due to ignorance of the clear revelation of what Jesus has done. And rather like a rogue spammer or cold-call salesman that are free to trick you as much as they can get away with until properly challenged....Sin, the sin spirit....still operates. In fact it can't believe it's luck!!! "You mean the news of my utter destruction has not fully reached the Earth's surface yet? Wow...am I gonna have a field day among these stupid ignorant humans!"

The game's up ! The veil of the Temple is torn. The dividing wall of hostility is broken down. There are no levels. No steps up to the Temple.

You're IN. ..... BIG TIME. Not even at day ONE. YOU WERE IN from the time before time.....

from before creation.....

when God purposed you IN HIS BELOVED SON !

Well Why THE LEVELS.

Only to pin your believing down, from airy fairy spiritual, to here and now Earth.

As a baby contains ALL the DNA coding it will ever have to get it from cradle to grave. No more DNA will ever be added.

But I think if I tried to dress the baby in a firefighter's uniform....

Or get the baby girl to announce tonight's news you'd then start to take level talk seriously.

Levels are just stages of growth in reality. Children, young men ,Fathers as in 1 John. This is one of the subjects of my blog, www.080808onnowto.blogspot.com and the subject of all of Paul Anderson Walsh's series of books about growth beginning with "Safe and Sound" and then onto the "Apprentice." Google Paul Anderson Walsh and Grace Project.

Now Paul and I have never met. We are Facebook friends. But the reason we are doing what we are doing is not friendship. It is the timing of the Holy Spirit in the Body of Christ to bring out what was started by Madame Guyon and others, Jessie Penn Lewis, through Watchman Nee, up to the present where the Holy Spirit is spelling out exactle what growth is. Again, this is not random. The Holy Spirit requested this feature of our generation specifically. He targeted our generation in a Fountain Trust conference in 1972, to be the ones to "Raise up the former devastations"..."to build a highway of holiness through the desert." The highway is now all but built. Guess what highways are for?

What was the M1 built for? Yes you've guessed it. So that generations of theological colleges could surmise the prophetic significance of 4 wheeled chariot?....no.......it was built for cars.

This highway now revealed around the Earth....Is for people.

Why would God send a man round the Earth on foot with a Cross for 38 years as a spiritual dry run? Because God MEANS BUSINESS. He means great traffic beloved!

But now I said this was ONE of the subjects of my blog. If one subject is individual growth, then the twin of that is that there are 3 stages of CORPORATE BODY GROWTH.

I haven't spent the best 15 years from 1973 - 1988 living most of that time specifically in community with the odd gap here and there......with anointed fresh input for our generation from Ron Knight, Ed Miller, John Wimber, Jorge Pradas in particular, for people to bamboozle me about it's all about individual growth brother!

Huh? You trying to tell me that chickens don't lay eggs? That bread isn't made from corn? That girls don't like Brad Pitt?

YOU'RE TOO LATE.

Through the experience of the Body of Christ together I've experienced spiritual warfare you'd be scared to be in...with bulbs exploding....with angelic sitings written about in a lot of the Yorkshire newspapers.

I've seen our own Victoria of Bible House climb up from a life in total darkness, all but paralysed, with a doctor's book of notes like Tolstoy's "War and Peace", raised up strategically by different members of the Body instructed to do different things, such that she became well, married and is now living in Barcelona. In Bible House too, we prayed for and received properties in Emsworth and Les Ulis Paris, for the Parisan offshoot. I've seen first a son raised from leukaemia by his Dad's marrow, then the same Dad raised from leukaemia, through the bone marrow of the son. This dual operation was a world first which was on every TV channel in our nation and most others in the world. I saw this Body of Christ rise up in a meeting as one and declare healing over theGod Channel ministry of Tony Fitzgerald's wife at 11. 40 precisely, and at that precise moment in her hospital bed in Brighton, she got well. I saw this Body , after months and months (nearly 2 years was it)of the Yorkshire Ripper laughing and taunting our police while slitting another throat, stand up as one and declare it was over. Within hours the man was in custody.

I've seen a Body, particularly Bible House, rise to pray prophesy and worship in the morning, to meet again in the evening, and through the frequency of meeting and working of the true Holy Spirit, as different areas of our lives were touched on, then tenderly cared for, carried by the other members of the Body.....I have seen shy, inarticulate people, being transformed into spokespersons for God, into fully functioning Christ individuals

NOT IN THE DECADES THAT IS NEEDED IN MOST CHURCHES WHERE NO VISION OF THE LIVING WORKING LOVING BODY OF CHRIST EXISTS.....

but days and months. Crisis encounter does not take long. Jesus only took 3 years. Have any of you had the lightnings of God in your midst? Lightnings of revelation. Lightnings of healing, of power. Of rising in praise before the Presence of the Living God to join together in thsat place that is AGELESS, that IS THE ETERNAL NOW.

Are some of you getting this? The true Church is no model. It's the real thing. THE ONE AGELESS BODY OF CHRIST. When it gathers things of History happen!!!

What I'm saying in my blog is, as good as that was, and it was a foretaste.....

That was the church in its CHARISMATIC FORM. IN its 2nd level format. In its Holy Place form.

Its initial CLOTHING FORM. It's "Overshadowing by the Spirit "form.

But it's NOT THE SUBSTANCE.

Imagine a Body of Christ, filled, rooted, grounded in the SUBSTANCE of what Francois Du Toit and the Andre's, Rich Novek's ,Daniel Yordy's, Merrill Thomson's are bringing. Imagine ,can you?

If you've been in the things I've been in from the Dales Bible Weeks upwards, on a general belief level of "separation", far far from the "single eye" view that God is now bringing.....if even at that shallow level of general believing the Lord in His love can bring such examples of power and awesomeness...

HAVE YOU ANY IDEA what a world Church brought forth in the current acceleration will look like? I can only tell you as an individual, because God gave me a glimpse of 3rd level living at a "single cell level", that is me and a family in Northern France, in order then to give me that aircraft vision that is now in film form on the side of my blog."The Melchizedek Order" This was 1978. But sure enough, the sort of stages that God has been taking His Body through have happened in the 3 stage ordering of that prophetic insight.

And the opportunity afforded to the world church for sharing internationally by the vehicle of the net has been utterly extraordinary over the last 2 years.

So, yes to the preachers that say there are no levels, that God has taken away every last obstacle.

But NO in the sense that we see overnight a Romans 8 Instant setting of Creation Free moment....

To conclude I want to say something , until you are in, you may find quite frightening.

The Third level is very like Being IN GEAR.

It's possible to be on a bike and wobbling

It's possible to be scooting downhill on a bike at great speed

BUT in THIRD LEVEL CHRISTIANITY

You, having been fixed into Christ, beginning to WALK AS HIM. Remember the verse that Fred Pruitt always quotes: As He is so are we in the world.

Well the Third level mystery is when you get in gear. When you go up hill on a bike , you feel the hill.

In the 3rd level you begin to feel the weight of history and you're part in it. Things appear at one level to close in around you. You're believing is MESHED in with your surroundings.

Before it was remote.

Before you thought of yourself as "separate from God"

Everything was at one remove.

Now those scriptures that were quite jaunty like "This is the day that the Lord has made....remember singing that one..."

Now becomes THIS IS THE ACTUAL DAY OF THE LORD IN ME AS ME.

You are enmeshed. Your faith is specific.

The weight is felt.

Are you a super Christian. Are you as an individual on some special esoteric level.

NOPE if anything you won't ever feel weaker in yourself than at any time in your life.

Actually quite like you feel on a steep bike ride or on a marathon, or in a gym.

The difference is...you as a weak insignificant vessel....and by now...boy you really feel it....

are, by your believing releasing the ALLNESS of GOD, THE ALL encompassing ,Overshadowing Eternal might

to work through you.

Now before we get too freaky and spiritual, we actually do have an example or two in recent history.

Whether overtly Christian or no...this was our Almighty God coming through two weak vessels to outwork His stuff in the nations. One was the jail sentence of Nelson Mandela and its outworking into South Africa. Another was Rosa Parkes who doggedly refused to give up her place in the bus and was the spark that started to set equality in place for the coloured in the Southern States of America. Interestingly all you have to put in Google is " black lady in the bus". So there are many black ladies in buses....but not like this coloured lady!!!!!!!

This is intercession in its basic form. It's the apostles saying to the authorities faces "Whether it is right to obey you rather than God?...." and next thing they are being jailed and killed.

We can be big heroes about all this, but for Brother Lawrence it meant being chained to those dishes. We have no idea the struggles he went through, probably wanting to be anywhere but there...but after a while the Kings and princes came to see the dishwasher!!!

I feel this has been a start. Hopefully you are starting to see this is more than just about me.About you. This is the opening of a door that has never opened. Only individuals. The uniqueness of our hour is that as well as the daily call to preach and teach the gospel, the Holy Spirit said something quite different in 1972, to prepare a whole generation and a highway. And the Highway is now all but ready!!!! Not just a Highway of the Gospel. But a Highway of the "goings of God" as brother Sigler puts it. A Highway of HOW the Body of Christ functions. A Highway of knowing. You can't really put the means of Body Growth in a text book. Or well, you can do as good a job as a textbook on childbirth.

The theory's roughly there....but otherwise useless.....in terms of the way your own body just takes control and does the job far better than you could organise yourself into.

So it is with the workings of the BODY OF CHRIST.

Forget seminaries. Almost everything you learn there is hopelessly inadequate when it comes to the LIVING BREATHING SPIRIT- FILLED BODY of OUR RISEN LORD ON EARTH. Hang around people who have been there done that.

SELAH.God Bless You readers.

Wednesday at 22:54 · LikeUnlike.Alan Roy Bowyer So glad you have seen it too. You hear of brother and sister being so spiritual on their own but we are only completed when we are built together for a habitation for God in the Spirit. Christ is the Church we are the Church. He is the v...ine we are the branches you cannot see the trunk because of the branches. Those who are "very spiritual" as individuals haven't even started if they haven't been built together. They talk about the Church universal but have no real experience of being a true expression of Christ which angels look into concerning the wisdom of God through the Church. One shall chase a thousand and two shall chase ten thousand. God's multiplication. Thee are different levels and different rewards in heaven. Some will be saved as by fire as thier reward is only hay and stubble which are burnt up in the fire. This is our training place for heaven. We will be dwelling together but what will we do with our little sister if she hasn't developed. It is the little foxes that destroy the vine which is the Church. There are Church leaders who know nothing of corporate growth or body life. They teach the priesthood of all believers but think they are the priests and every one must follow them. Paul said follow me as I follow Christ. Christ commissioned the disciples into ministry. They want the people to sit under their teachings ans just be spectators. If a member was to act as they taught and got up to caste out a demon they would be horrified because they never went to their Bible School. Thanks for the sharing I could continue but we are already on the same wave length. Be blessed.See more
Wednesday at 23:21 · LikeUnlike.Chris Welch Yes, hardwiring into local manifestations of the Body nails us down. But even this needs to come through the Cross. Most people are in a club they call church. What do they mean in the spirit by church. They mean club.As soon as we start wa...lking in the Melchizedek order we get this clash as you have said....you lay a finger on a demon without the pastor's permission and he'll freak out.He won't cast that demon out himself, it just becomes part of the furniture....but if you do anything....WOW. In this we we see how demons are woven into the very fabric of our churches. On the positive side....you start preaching the realities of the finished work of the Cross, and people then get their own faith rise up, and right there many demons just lose their foothold, without much of a hullabaloo....thespirits have got nothing to hold onto. The challenge is to get that sort of preaching into places , past the "gatekeepers"...these rather weak or at worst "false shepherds" of this article :http://080808onnowto.blogspot.com/2011/02/two-facebook-notes-on-shepherds-chris.htmlSee more

Not having a clue of the reality of them and having one person (my sister Cindi E. ) that I could share them with. Not that she had a clue at the time of what any of it meant either. But we had the same heart. Though so different in every other way we walked in unity. It was an automatic happening nothing that we tried to achieve. Our hearts beat as ONE.

Thursday at 07:58 · LikeUnlike.Chris Welch Elaine, there is nothing that you or I or the unbeliever can do. Christ has fully welcomed us into Himself. All He is now doing is telling us more about what He has done.Even whether we believe it all or not has no effect, other than whethe...r we will see it manifesting on this ball we call Earth. Jesus didnt use the word levels and where they become a barrier they lose their usefulness. The Jews were already knowing there was a God who forgives and loves, so unlike our evangelising they didnt even need to do that. So really, Jesus began one stage in by getting all the disciples to go out preaching with signs and wonders. This is where He began!!!!! Then in John 6 He changed gear (what I am calling the steps to a fully functioning 3rd level.) Just like your anger, everyone but the disciples walked off. It was Jesus least successful sermon "numerically". Notice, it wasn't academic. It wasnt words they couldnt understand. They just thought it sounded like cannibalism. Eat my flesh and drink my blood. What we can't see in the text is how the Holy Spirit was tackling people's idea of themselves. This all happened "beneath" the words as Jesus spoke and caused great upset. Jesus never really covered this ground again until the upper room with the disciples. What the Holy Spirit is doing is preparing a generation who brings a gospel message that gets to the root of the problem. As long as we just preach the forgiveness message, we are no further on than the Jews in the Old Testament. This accounts for the success of Anglicanism.....a kind of reworked Jewish old Covenant with some New Testament T shirts on.See more

Well being "on a level" can just be left-brain talk. Collecting levels a bit like a train-spotter collecting train numbers from an overhead bridge.... With a similar detachment.Hmmm. Except you are nolonger detached. Andre Ousterhuizen, Francois Du Toit and Andre Rabe, for three, make sure that there is only one thing you know.
....the unique you, was designed by God and will only ever "really work" properly in Christ, which is the One in whom we are always intended to be. Enough of "special levels", in the sense that like it or lump it...you're already there..."
Well Why THE LEVELS?
Only to pin your believing down, from airy fairy spiritual, to here and now Earth.
As a baby contains ALL the DNA coding it will ever have to get it from cradle to grave. No more DNA will ever be added.
But I think if I tried to dress the baby in a firefighter's uniform....
you'd then start to take level talk seriously.

Give you an example...Christ in you the hope of glory." Now what's a western left-brain to do with that one? It's absolutely meaningless. Except that anyone who is really born again bubbles over on their inside whenever they hear it. it's like the babe in Elizabeth's womb jumping at the babe in Mary's womb!!! You can't see much, but in your insides is a knowing of joy that Christ is being born in you!!!!"
Now that Psalm 84 strength is immediately available now in the Spirit. But until you've accessed it a few times people will hear that you are inexperienced and not say of you "Blessed are the men whose strength is in thee".....they'll say" keep growing".
Far from being nebulous, The Words and promises of the Bible are more real and more concrete than any atom or molecule in our world....we are just ignorant and think the reverse. Listen, there's more empty space between atoms than substance. But when under an anointing I just speak to a lifelong epileptic middleaged woman, the epilepsy vanishes for the rest of her life. The Word is awesome in its power, sustaining the very universe because Jesus is that Word, and as Andre and Francois are writing, we are all tucked up in that Word, that intention of God to see the same pattern of His Son multiplying through a whole generation of faith.

I used to think like everyone the phrase "Will He find faith on the earth..." was something about will God find any Christianity left at all?
Now I understand that the only faith there really is is the THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, that puts a whole different spin on it.As I wrote to Andre, it's like a wager has gone on in heaven unbeknown to us, similar to the one concerning Job . God is saying I will find the FAITH of MY SON fully operating in the Earth. That's the meaning behind Ephesians 3:8-10
to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,
9and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things;
10so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.
Bet you can't do it, says the Devil.
Bet I can, using nothing other than My Word says the Father.
"Huh...easy in the first 100 years after your Son has been on Earth."
"Ok, we'll allow the whole thing to die back, and beginning with Luther and not a single eye witness, but just by the FAITH OF MY SON ALONE being activated in believers and nothing else to go on, I will raise up a church to crush you under her feet in experience ON Earth !"
"You can't do it" says the devil.
"Watch Me", says the Lord.See more

There's being bankrupt and proven to be bankrupt. At this time the ones proven to be b...ankrupt were the Jews, so the first ever church sermon began" this Jesus who you crucified". Now in their arrogant folly the rest of the world have taken this out on the Jews without realising part of the "Goings of God", this Way Truth Life cycle is exactly meant to "frame us". Why? Because without this self-knowledge we cannot become properly fixed in our choice, or clear in our seeing.Unless we "see" deep down in our being our utter bankruptcy in being able in any way to keep the Law whatsoever, like a lifeguard waiting for a drowning man to give up, the Holy Spirit will not come to lift us up again out of the miry pit. What's a miry pit? A Miry pit is a hole with slimy mud up the sides. As fast as we climb, our limbs slip right down again. This is the impossibility of the sin situation we are in. Who can save us? Thanks be to God Jesus already has...but we have to be ready to totally come out of our "miry pit self efforts" and quite frankly, most Christians keep this up for decades, which is why outwardly there is no let up in their situations. We have to crash totally into the arms of the ONLY ONE who has been designated for lifting us up out of mire holes and setting us upon a Rock.King Jesus. The extent we give up, is the extent we know our bankruptcy. The extent we know our bankruptcy, God's grace can fill us up and lift us high above sin and "make straight our paths."
This is what is meant by the phrase in Romans: "That every mouth be stopped". Churches are filled with the self-righteous and the unrighteous feel this. Ministries like Francois and the two Andre's are here precisely for this reason.....to show God's norm. Our original design. It makes evangelicalism look like a cupboard under the stairs, and the charismatic movement look like Las Vegas hoardings, which the next morning are empty shells. The truth is there is only GOD. He is the ONLY LIFE, and life form. The devil is a borrowed copy from the library with a return date stamped right across him. Everything derives from the One reality. We can't become more spiritual. We're so spiritual it's untrue. We either haven't exchanged our spirit properly yet for the TRUE INDWELLING SPIRIT OF GOD, or if we have, the devil is still having a field day by keeping us in this stupid notion of being a separate being, and having a separate....get this..."human existence"...".he's only human". What's that supposed to mean?
Well what it means is the devil gets to tarnish us with every slur under the sun if in return we will only believe that we are self- empowered gods in our own right. A. the slurs are coming from his foul residence in our spirit containers. B. We are stupid for keeping our side of the bargain anyway. by Norman Grubb

"Christ Jesus ... is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us" -Romans 8:34.

...Our great High Priest has been the unique Intercessor. None but He could be apropitiation for our sins. But we also, as priests, have a law of intercession to fulfill, and this helps us to get a clear sight of it. To be kings and priests is our high calling, a royal priesthood. But first a priest, as He was first the High Priest. And that means identification, intercession, and finally authority.

Intercession has often been mistaken by many as a heightened form of prayer.But it is something different. An intercessor was sought for by God in the Old Testament times of desperate national backsliding, as someone whom He could rely on to turn the tide, a task of no mean order. In Isaiah's day God"wondered that there was no intercessor";
in Ezekiel's time He "sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap." In other words, all those dedicated menthrough Bible history, who knew their redemptive commission, who gave themselves without stint to the fulfillment of it - which involved them in all kinds of eccentric renunciations and strange activities for God's glory andman's salvation - were intercessors.

You waive my rights consigning them to your grave and I am immersed in crashing songs of love poured out

You strip me naked and hold me like a crucified one, You search Me and find only hidden treasure

With one eye am I dishonoured and dethroned, the other sees only sandals and rings, meat and singing

I am who I am and it is not who I was; I am who I am and it truly is not me, this me

Nancy Gilmore :Inner-recognition is our participation in the faith OF Christ. The Lord IS here! We awaken to His union with us, AS us. When Christ is IN us, but not AS us we have this gap to be closed in our consciousness. When Christ is AS us; there is NO gap. "Consummated" Faith IS when the object of our faith comes back with His inner-Christ-consciousness in us, as us; and we know UNION. . . with NO gaps! And we learn to WALK as WHOLE persons in Christ. The WHOLE is Christ.

I know you know Spirit and take your identity with Him as who you truly are; but there are times when you're explaining the vast volume of comprehension that you have, that I 'hear' an identity as an outer man; as though separate; and truly that is an illusion. You're never anyone but Christ "as" you. That's the importance of AS in our consciousness. "As" does not allow you to be separate from Him... and it changes the way we say things. ♥

While others submit to "Don't touch, " and other earthly regulations we are involved with a programme to bring the King back."
21 hours ago · LikeUnlike.Nancy Gilmore CONTINUED. . . I don't do any of that! I'm free in Christ to just be who He says I am. I don't have to understand much, all I have to understand is "how faith works". God's says He is the ONE in me who wills and does of His good pleasure. ...That settled it for me. Believe that, and we're free. I left all the other outer-stuff years ago. Now I know you are gifted with an intellectual mind, and I admire that in you, as you; but I am NOT. And I'm not interested in an intellectual mind; nor do I compare myself with you. I'm free to be different, knowing I have the mind of Christ. Because He said so! That's where my trust is. In Him ONLY. You are my precious brother in Christ and I accept you just as you are! My question is; Do others compare themselves with you, having to know all this other stuff? It sounds like law to me. A formula to follow. I don't have to know anything, but Christ as me. I confront HIM as to who He says He is in me, as me; Are you my life, LORD? Then be it! That my word of faith. And how that works out is His business, not mine. Now I see He has put us together as his body members; and I am delighted! And I'm free to tell it as it is in me, as me; And you are free to tell it as it is in you, as you. So we get along just fine! And I love you! 21 hours ago · LikeUnlikeThese last few months have been interesting and because we are all one we do not need to fear. God adds stuff all the time. It's an amazing Body. I knew Elaine was taking my stuff as intellectual. I'm a bit surprised that you are. Patrick B...wayo does the same. For me it's just like when Peter wrote about Paul...he says some things that are difficult. Which if we take time to think about we can fall about laughing. Think about it, and St John too in Revelation. Paul for starters in Romans was prophesying the RETURN of the Jews into the purposes of God.....well they'd barely even been scattered then. So in order to understand Paul, you had to imagine a whole lot more scattering, then somehow get your head round how on earth God was going to bring them back again.....and centuries later too! Then you've got John prophesying about a woman who goves birth to a Son....and yes some of this would have been already manifesting in their experience of early church....but this woman encompasses all ages, including our own which now has an Earth with 7 billion people all over it....with a Woman in labour in every nation who is the Church giving birth to an Overcoming Man who is a mature expression of Jesus. Now if this is off the wall now, what was this like 20 centuries ago? I can assure you I have not obeyed the Lord for 30 years waiting on God to have this all labelled as intellectual theory from you Elaine or Patrick. This stuff we can't think up, it has to be sewn together on our insides from all corners of the Word. The sad thing is that at the moment you have to read it. it's better heard and passed on under an anointing as many have done in bits with us.It's the anointing, plus the fact that others all over the earth speak interlocking truths that give us the underlying assurance it is of God.See more
21 hours ago · LikeUnlike.Nancy Gilmore I'll re-read what I said, but I think I said, I hear it as law. I wasn't criticizing you for being intellectual, but asking how do others hear what you are saying. As for Paul's difficult things, I don't see the comparison, nor a reason for either of us to be defensive.
Chris Welch Returning to the original gap conversation Nancy it has sparked a train of thought in both directions. It was like being reminded this morning that one of the hangups of being a Baptist in my formative years is to have heard every single I ...am statement of Jesus in separation, llike Jesus was speaking out of some specialness. And this is sowrong, because He deliberately laid all glory aside....so every I am statement is being spoken by faith as a human container but "in the Father". This changes the slant on all those I am statements.

On the other hand I think I see this in scripture and in what God is raising up:
Our conscious changing stage where we are having every "gap" closed is a growth stage. As you have always said...it is the reckoning stage still. It's a more advanced 2nd level, but it still is not 3rd level.
I am so glad my blog says Now onto the Third Level....giving the ambiguity whether we are even there yet. But there will come a time when gaps are properly and in the main closed, and I believe for you this has happened and you are receiving training in "LAND-taking " activities by the spoken Word of faith.

The Third level is in this way an unconscious level. A bit like me being a tuner. i don't think every morning, am I going to be able to tune this piano? We've forgotten about gap stuff. We're just Him. Now here's some interesting stuff. Praise and worship as an activity as well as a Romans12 24 hour commitment will roar like a lion's roar. We won't have this half in half out wimpy "Christian" approach. Our confidence in the open approach to God will mean a sound like the sound of the men in the Ern Baxter sermon Thy Kingdom Come on my site. (If you play that over bass speakers, you can hear this frightening Roar of the Lion/Lamb in the midst of the5000 men. It sends tingles all over you) God regularly does foretastes of this by the Spirit...but I am talking latency. Our consciousness will just reside there , because we are seeing only ONE.
But we learn in Psalm 133 that as weaned as we are. As much as we have this continuous consciousness that we are a weaned child, weaned off the pride of life, resting against our mother" as in Psalm 131......Psalm 133 is about anointing oil.

The charismatic move was a foretaste of priesthood. As soon as we entered by faith into the Holy Place, we began this co- reigning priesthood Call, and God has already performed much through a Body that had anointing but next to no clue on a daily level , a life level, of who they were. Once mature, this priesthood changes gear altogether. The anointing that God can now trust us with is of a much more final form, in our battle to enforce the Cross victory of Christ. It is a people in Psalm 134 "who stand by night" in the House of the Lord. One huge forerunner of this was Rees Howells, who, in his consciousness and preparation was pretty much alone for the task. His task ofcourse was to meet the Dictators at the very highest level, and crush their power.

I'd just like to say about God's storehouse. God is always pulling more and more strange stuff out of His storehouse. When Jesus was here, Jesus found a heavenly resource of paying tax from a fish's mouth. This had never been done before. An axehead had floated on water, but a human had never walked on water.
Now we read in all revival reports that weird Spirit manifestations have always accompanied previous moves. The Lollards. The Quakers.
But there are continually new, never done before things.

When Norman Grubb was writing Yes I am, he was unaware that people were starting to throw glory at each other. This has sometimes happened in a minor way in Havant.
When John said in Revelation "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day", he wasn't waiting for a reply from Dee Dee Winter or Fred Pruitt to say "But you are always in Christ dear, Christ is here all the time." he is talking about a specific anointing for a specific job.

So I wanted to talk about latency...that which we seem to have all the time by virtue of a whole change of "seeing", and also because we have pursued the Lord on specific stages of obedience, so it has now become resident to us.

This would be so for example with Rees Howells in the area of prayer commissioning. Anyone like Francois and Andre as they visit between Bulgaria and Pakistan then back to South Africa will be discovering "latencies" in all the Body. When I went to Kenya at the tail end of a revival that had been continuous from 1949 until then, I visited and filmed a youth camp. Ages 6-18. They had a latency in thunderous simultaneous prayer like in South Korea. They couldnt understand why I was bawling my eyes out in front of this thunderous roar of children. Icouldn't really tell them. But you know the story well. The reason was I'd come from Europe where hardly any kids know Christ, that's why I was bawling my eyes out.
the same happens to English people when they visit Rios de Vida in Quilmes Argentina. There is a worship and adoration latency there and English people will be bawling their eyes out hearing these incredible operatic voices pouring love and adoration emotively upon Jesus. They look at English people oddly, as if to say, why are you crying like that. Again you can't really say. But it's because English people need a manual or an overhead before their Cyberman voices can be directed to the Jesus that subsection 4 paragraph D, amendment 44, says we should.
All the Body has these different giftings, anointings, latencies.

But Psalm 133 is a special indication of what will be occurring as we all see we are ONE. Onto this will be poured power and authority that we cannot imagine. So here I am talking of specific waves that are in the timing of the Lord, I am not meaning to take away from the ALL POWER, ALL PRESENCE JESUS that we have today.

Rich has an extremely short patience with people who talk of "coming moves". It's the Spirit with which we talk about it. Jesus used to say a lot of stuff like this, prefaced by the time is coming and now is. People who speak by the Spirit have "legs when theytalk". Unlike the proverb "A proverb in the mouth of a fool is like a man with no legs".
True Spirit people are injecting the Now components of the future for pre-assembling in people's hearts, that makes the difference between idle words and Marthas's"I know he'll be raised up at the last day"....and things that will actually happen.

Well that's what I woke to when I read Nancy's text.See more

GOD’S PORTION
A TRANSCRIPTION OF A RECORDED MESSAGE BY VANESSA (One of the ACTS TEAM 1986-1991) through Francois Du Toit on today's Grace Folk (Facebook)

If God did not express His love in a tangible way in causing His love to take on flesh and blood, we would have been in a pitiful state. God demonstrated His love towards us, by causing His Son to take on flesh and blood. We are here on earth as a product of His love. What a glorious origin to have! Let us turn to Heb. 4:1. “Therefore, since the promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.” There have been many things attached to the rest of God, but I believe if we want to discover how to enter into the rest of God, we must discover how He entered into His rest. It says in Heb. 4:11 - “let us add diligence that we may enter into the rest of God.” In other words, God has a rest.
We see in the Word that creation and re-creation (redemption) corresponds with one another. Creation is a type(representation) of re-creation. Creation is the shadow in the physical sphere, while re-creation (Creation 2.0) is the substance in the spiritual sphere. To understand on what basis God rests concerning re-creation in Christ Jesus, we must see on what basis God rested concerning creation. Practically in our lives we will only rest according to the measure of the revelation in our hearts of why God is at rest concerning us. We must see God’s persuasion concerning our rest, before we will be persuaded that we can rest concerning our own lives!
Practically in our lives we will only rest according to the measure of the revelation in our hearts of why God is at rest concerning us.
Eph. 2:10 say “We are God’s workman-ship created in Christ Jesus.” Heb. 4:3 say “God’s works were finished from the foundation of the world!” On what basis is it possible that God’s works were finished from the foundation of the world, even before creation itself? Prov.8:22 - 25 give us an answer in this matter. It speaks there of wisdom personified in Christ Jesus - “The Lord possessed Me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old (creation). I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning, before there was ever an earth. When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth.” God was so satisfied and overwhelmed in His inner being with love that He could not but give utterance to it, and Christ was brought forth. Christ was such an exact replica of what God has desired, that He found His full delight in Him, and have decided to create nothing else that would not have the same features as Christ. God’s desire and purpose was for fellowship and a love relationship, and Christ was the fulfillment of every aspect of it. From having full satisfaction in Christ Jesus, all God’s works would only be an outflow of Christ and not a creation of anything new. Creation was thus actually only an outflow of Christ and not a creation out of nothing. This is why the Greek text in Col. 1:16 is saying that “In Him all things were created” and then “Through Him” and “For Him.” Everything that was made visible in creation already existed in Christ Jesus! Visible creation was the proof of the success of the original blueprint.

This is the reason why Prov. 8:30-31 says “Then I (Jesus) was beside Him (God) as a master craftsman; and I was daily His (God’s) delight, rejoicing always before Him, rejoicing in His inhabited world (earth) and my delight was with the sons of men.” This is also why Acts 15:18 says - “Known to God from eternity are all His works.” God knows His works from eternity, because He has determined that no work of creation would be anything else except an expression of Christ Himself. Therefore the whole of creation finds it’s essential features in Christ Jesus.

That is how it was possible that God’s works were finished before the foundation of the world. So let us now discover in Gen.1 how God entered into His rest concerning this work. In Gen.1 we read how God created the heavens and the earth. In the creation account we read six times (1:3, 10, 12, 17, 21 & 25) God’s reply, as the creation plan was unfolding. Every time it says “and God saw that it was good, ...... and God saw that it was good, ...... and God saw that it was good....” That word “good” means that everything that God beheld after He had created it touched the pleasure of His heart. It found favor in the sight of the Beholder.
Then He says here in Gen.1:27 - “So God created man in His own image. God created them, male and female, He created them and then God blessed them; and God said to them, be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue and have dominion over it.” Verse 31 - “And God saw everything He had made and indeed it was very good.” Verse 28 says, “then God blessed them”. The word “blessed” is the Hebrew word BARAK which means that He appreciated them, He adored them. I know that to the religious mind this might seem like heresy, but it says that He kneeled down and adored them. He appreciated them. God is love and this love could only rest in an encounter with a being of the same kind and likeness! God can only find His rest in a being of the same image and likeness as Himself, a being with the same love as His, a love of the same kind as His own. Love can only find its rest in love. Love can only be satisfied by love.God can only find His rest in a being of the same image and likeness as Himself, a being with the same love as His, a love of the same kind as His own. Love can only find its rest in love. Love can only be satisfied by love.
Love desired someone else to love and it needs a response of the exact kind and quality of love. That is why God, in His creation of man and woman, desired a response in a being on whom He could lavish His love. Eph. 1:7 say that through redemption God lavished His love upon us. God could only enter His rest when He had found a being whom He could appreciate. God could only enter His rest when He had created a being whom He could wholeheartedly appreciate and adore. God’s rest has found it’s fulfillment when He was persuaded that man was the full and perfect expression of what He has desired for in His heart to fellowship with. So when did God enter His rest? When He appreciated the work of His hands. When He created man He said, “man is very good.” All of creation was good, it has found pleasure in His heart, it has found favor in His sight, but when He created man, He said “behold it is very good”. In other words man exhausted the creative ability of God. Within the limits of man, the being of man, God found everything that satisfied the desire of His heart. God discovered in man everything that He needed to satisfy His own desire for companionship. God rested because He found in man the mirror-reflection of Himself. He found in man the same kind of person and love as in Himself. Man was indeed the joy of His desire. That is why it says “and God said it was very good”.

God could rest, because of the very good quality of creation. That word “rest” means that I have come to a place where the reality dawned upon me that I need to add nothing to my life. Nothing can be added to the PERSON of who I am in Christ Jesus, even if my experience does not match up with it. My experience cannot add or take away from who I am as a person, because my experience is only an outflow of my knowledge of who I am in Christ Jesus! The reality that you need to add nothing to your life is indeed a strong reality to walk in. That means you are walking in the consciousness that you experience ultimate satisfaction. Rest is to walk in the consciousness of being in a state of absolute peace, assuredness, confidence, tranquility and love. He entered His rest because of you being in that state. So how would we enter the rest of God? Would you agree with me that it is to appreciate as God appreciates? So now I start to appreciate the new creation within me as God alone appreciates me, because through appreciating as He does, I would definitely enter into the rest He enjoys! Appreciation is when I salute the work of another person on my behalf. Appreciation is to acknowledge God for the good and perfect work that He did within you in Christ Jesus. All that I can do in reaction to God’s perfect workmanship in Christ Jesus is to respond in appreciation.

Why was God’s interest in creation so focused upon man? What was God’s purpose with man? Was He looking for some profit in the works of man? If God really sought man’s work, He should have created him on the first day and then together with Him, man and God could have planned and worked together in creation. If His interest was in the works of man, He would have created man on the first day and let him work hard!
The word “blessed” is the Hebrew word BARAK which means that He appreciated them, He adored them.
The opposite is actually true in that God took much time to create everything in great detail for man. You could have made everything, but God made it for you so that you would not be disrupted in your rest. Love took much time when He created creation. He took much time in depositing wealth into the earth. God could have given us just black and white and we would have done well, but He went to His ultimate in designing the earth wherein man would get to know Him. God created perfect circumstances and atmosphere for a perfect romance. He went to the ultimate of His creative thought when He created the world. He spends much time although it says one day, one day, and one day. The Word says that one day is like a thousand years to God. When He completed everything, God created man, because the one thing that He desired, was that everything must be completed for the advent of man. Everything had to be completed so that all that man had to do was to get to know Him and appreciate everything that He has done for him. God went a far way and spent a lot of time so that your appreciation can be a rest and not a frustration of works to you.

Gen.2:1-2 “Thus the heavens and the earth and all the host of them were finished and on the seventh day God ended His work, which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day.” God blessed all of creation but the only day He blessed was the seventh day. Why? He sanctified it, because of His rest from all His works. The word sanctified means He “set it apart”. I believe that He sanctified it for Himself and man. It was a day of celebration wherein God would discover His rest, and it was a celebration wherein man would discover God’s rest. God rested from all His works! That word “rest” means He came into a state of tranquility. It was a celebration in the ceasing from exertion. It was the celebration of the birth of mankind. Is that not precious! So Adam and Eve’s first day that they ever lived on the face of this earth was the Sabbath, a day of resting and mutual enjoyment. The Sabbath day was sanctified and set apart for man and God. It was a holy day, a day of romance, full enjoyment and love-inspired fellowship.

In looking at the book Ephesians, we will see that the verse that forms the basis of the whole book is Eph.1:4. This verse has got the most beautiful ingredients that are enriching our faith. It says “God associated us in Christ before the foundation of the world.” In other words our identification did not come after the fall. God initially identified man in Christ even before creation, and this was the cause of everything that followed. It says in Col.1: 13 that “the kingdom of God is the kingdom of the Son of His love.” John 1:28 say, “that this Son was in the bosom of the Father.” The word bosom speaks of the essential and eternal place of blessedness with the Father. It speaks of the intimate presence of the Father. And this is the place that the Son of God accommodated even before creation. I believe that God was so inspired by the intimacy that He enjoyed with Him, that He saw in His Son the potential of many brethren. He saw His Son becoming the master copy of the whole human race. He desired to see many sons. It says in Heb.2: 10 that it was fitting for Him “to bring many sons to glory”. And so God created man through the inspiration that He received from intimacy with His Son. So God’s eternal purpose was always for man to enjoy what His Son enjoyed. To enjoy that place in the bosom - that eternal and essential place of blessedness in God. And so he says here in Rom.8:28-29 “and we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” We have discovered God’s purpose for us and that is to accommodate the same place as His Son accommodates. We are called according to His purpose. “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed into the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” I want you to see that God desires you to accommodate no other place than that which His Son accommodates. With man’s fall there came a hindrance in the purpose of God, but we have discovered that God’s purpose is like a bulldozer. To mankind it might have seemed like four thousand years of the fall, but to God it was like a second. Nothing could hinder His eternal purpose for man. Man would be the reproduction of that which He experienced in His Son; man would be the fruit of His Son. Nothing could stand in the way of God’s purpose for you and for myself, Nothing! The whole creation was inspired by His intimacy with His Son. This is such a precious truth! That is why God’s dealings and plans with mankind is so strong. The inspiration that God gets through intimacy with His Son, are proven to be so unquenchable that not even the sin of man on Christ could quench it!

God associated us in Christ before the foundation of the world.” In other words our identification did not come after the fall.

Col.1:12 - “Giving thanks”. All that Paul could do when he discovered God’s fulfilled purpose was to give thanks. That is all he could do. The Greek word for thanks is the verb of the Greek noun for grace. Giving thanks is a spontaneous outflow of seeing grace that was given to you in Christ Jesus. We give thanks or appreciation to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus. We are filled with gratitude. Remember that song, “ Give thanks with a grateful heart” - it is all that we can do in response to perfect redemption; otherwise God would have created us on the first day. All that Adam could do was to appreciate and enjoy the completed creation. Adam could not add to anything that God created. Adam could not have been created on the sixth day and said, “Well Lord, let us add to the elephant, let us add to the lion or let us change a few things here or there.” He could not add to himself, he could not add to anything. All that he had to do was to appreciate and to enter the rest that God Himself had entered into. See how precious and valuable the relationship is between God and His Son. When you understand the relationship and place of the Son, you will understand the place you accommodate in Christ.

Col.1:12-16 - “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light, He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.” Is that not beautiful? It says the Son of His love. “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin. He is the image of the invisible God, the First-born over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities, all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things and in Him all things consist.” This is the precious place that the Son accommodates as the apple of God’s eye. All things were made through Him, for Him; unto Him and in Him all things consist. The word consist means that all things find their essential features in the Son of God. All things that were created were inspired by God’s intimacy with His Son. All things find their essential features in His Son, and now through His blood He has bought us and He has redeemed us to once again find our features and persuasion concerning ourselves in Him as the Son. That word “features” means our faith, our substance, are found in Him the Son.

Jesus Christ was presented the blueprint of all of creation and all of mankind. If the blueprint is a success, then the product must also be a success. That is why when the fall of man came, no one else could proof the design, or proof the success of the design but the master copy. If God created all of mankind through the inspiration of His Son, then His Son must proof the success of the design of man. That is why it could only be the Son of God that took on flesh and blood. No one else could redeem man, no one else could proof that God’s creation in man was a success, except the only begotten Son. John 1:14 Christ has come to redeem us to the bosom of the Father, He has come to redeem us to that place of rest that Adam should have walked in. John 14:1 - “Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also”, says the Master copy.
...in Him all things consist. The word consist means that all things find their essential features in the Son of God. All things that were created were inspired by God’s intimacy with His Son.
Let us look at John 1:18 - “No one has seen the Father at any time, the only begotten Son who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.” Now He says in John 14:3 - “I have come to receive you unto Myself that where I am, there you may be also”. Those mansions are not mansions in the sky, but it is a place of accommodation in God. It is a place where I find my absolute satisfaction, and a place where God has found His absolute satisfaction. I believe that the Sabbath can be termed as God’s unhindered enjoyment of man and man’s unhindered enjoyment of God. Now I want you to see that in the same way as Adam could not add to the creation of God, you as a new creation cannot add as to what God created you to be.

He says in John 14:3 - “I will come to you and I will receive you unto Myself, that where I am, there you may also be”. See clearly that it takes nothing from your side to be in that place of blessedness. Eph. 1:3-4 says that God blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus, even before the foundation of the world. God created you in Christ and it is God who recreated you in Christ before you even knew it. The Word clearly says in Eph.1:10 that “when the fullness of time came, God brought everything in heaven and earth back into Christ Jesus.” “ Of God you are in Christ Jesus and that not of yourselves! “ - 1 Cor.1:30. You may pray for twenty hours, sing and fast and jump before God or even go and preach for ten years. He says that “I will come and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” What does it take from your side to enter in and experience that place of blessedness you already accommodate in Christ Jesus. It takes my appreciation of it! If God entered His rest through the appreciation of what He created, then I enter into my rest as a new creation through what He created me to be.

Adam’s appreciation of creation was such a normal response in the light of awakening in a perfect atmosphere and creation like the paradise. When God created Adam, everything was already finished and completed, and when he awoke in creation, the only thing that was still left was the enjoyment and appreciation of everything around him. That is the reason why appreciation could not be works to Adam, but a normal response out of the perceiving what God has done. Creation is a type of recreation! In recreation or redemption after the fall of man, God did the same as in creation. God finished the whole of redemption before man could awake in his salvation. In Eph.2:11-16 we see that God reconciled and recreated the whole world (Jew and Heathen) back to one new man, from the two, through the cross, in the body of Christ Jesus. Through the death of Christ, every man’s spirit was cleansed from the old man and made alive with Christ to hear God, understand God, and to respond to God. God just brought mankind, in terms of their spirit, back to where Adam and Eve were before the fall so that they can now again hear the Gospel and make a decision for it. Man was not made new and alive at his decision for God, but when he died and was made alive with Christ at the cross and resurrection - Eph. 2:5-10. Every person that responds to God do not have it’s own cross and resurrection! Heb. 9:25-26 says that Christ died once and was resurrected once, and if you were not part of that, you have missed it completely. This is confirmed with the fact that at the Friday of the cross, the whole of mankind was unacceptable to enter into God’s presence, and on the Monday after the resurrection the invitation came to all mankind to enter into the presence of God on the new and living way (Heb. 10:19-22). God had to cleanse mankind at the cross through the offering of the body of Christ; otherwise a invitation to enter would not be possible. When the whole of redemption was finished after resurrection, the Gospel came to the whole of mankind as to AWAKE them unto what was already completed. It corresponds to what He said on the cross “it is finished!” That is why 1Cor.15:14 says, “AWAKE unto righteousness, and do not sin...” You cannot become it or work for it, because you are it already, and just need to be what you already are. Nowhere is there a command to become dead to sin and alive to God, because you just have to RECKON yourselves as dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus - Rom. 6:11-13. God has finished everything and you can only awake to the fact that you as a person are already complete in Christ, and now reflect Him in your life. Ps. 17:15 - “As for me I will see your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness.”
Man was not made new and alive at his decision for God, but when he died and was made alive with Christ at the cross and resurrection - Eph. 2:5-10.

When you heard the Gospel, you awake and then saw that there is nothing left to be done to become the image and likeness of God, because you are already that through redemption. God has already restored you back to one new man at the cross, and all that is left now is to enjoy it! Just appreciate what you became in Christ at the cross and resurrection and when you do that you will receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that will seal you - Eph. 1:13.

I want to repeat this very important truth; If God entered His rest through the appreciation of what He created, then I enter into my rest as a new creation through what He created me to be. So often our experience contradicts what the Word says, everything starts giving its opinion against you and says your experience does not come near to what the Word says. Your experience says the Word cannot be true, and it challenges the integrity of God’s Word. In a situation like that, you just start to appreciate your new nature. Sit there and start to meditate upon the innocence that has given birth to your spirit. Start to appreciate the innocence in your spirit.Start to appreciate the purity that is in your spirit because of redemption. Start to appreciate the new nature that has been placed within you and immediately that rest becomes a constant consciousness. Immediately that rest becomes a reality that dawns as the sun dawns. Appreciate “until the morning star rises in your heart” - 2 Pet. 1:19. Only then will you start to appreciate the bosom of your Father as the place of blessedness that you accommodate in Christ Jesus. In doing this, it does not say that your circumstances will change immediately, but your inward being will start to overrule the outward tribulation - 2 Cor.4;16-18. Day by day the inward man must be renewed, not by looking to the temporary outward things, but by looking to Christ as my mirror-reflection of the eternal in me.
Start to appreciate the innocence in your spirit. Start to appreciate the purity that is in your spirit because of redemption.
There is a blessedness in walking in the consciousness of that place of blessedness in the bosom of the Father. How? Through the appreciation of the truth that you are there and it is He who has brought you there. God brought us back into Christ Jesus at the cross. In other words each one of us right now are accommodating that place where the Son of God is. When contradiction comes and your experience does not match up with the Word, just sit there and say “Father, I appreciate the fact that Your Son has redeemed me to a place where I cannot add to anything. I am right now accommodating a place in Your bosom in Christ Jesus. I could not add to anything in my life, even if I wanted to, because it was prepared two thousand years ago”. It was of His working that you are what you are, otherwise you would have helped Jesus to do it. 1 Cor. 15:10 - “But by the grace of God, I am what I am.” He prepared that place beforehand, before you or I were even born. And what does God desire from you? Your appreciation, because through your appreciation you enter into the reality of it. Appreciation and faith is actually exactly the same thing.

Heb. 4:1-3 ‘Therefore since the promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it, for indeed the Gospel was preached to us as well as to them, but the Word they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” They did not appreciate the calling of God to them through the Gospel. “For we who believe do enter that rest, so I swore in My wrath that they shall not enter My rest, although the works were finished from the foundation of the earth”. God’s eternal purpose was established from the beginning of the earth, that you would accommodate the Son’s place in His bosom. You would be accommodated in His bosom in Christ Jesus and that was finished from the foundation of the earth. You cannot add to it, just get persuaded about it and enjoy it. In Heb. 4:4-7 God urges us not to harden our hearts but to appreciate the completed work of Christ. “Again He designates a certain day saying to David - Today after such a long time as it has been said ‘Today if you hear My voice ‘, do not harden your hearts.” The calling of God is heard in His voice, God’s love-call is heard in His voice. His voice and His calling is the Gospel. You do not need to call man through any other means except the Gospel, because his heart responds to the love-call of God. He says “do not harden your hearts”. Hardening of heart and rebellion would be the exact opposite of appreciation. “If Joshua had given them rest, He would not afterwards have spoken of another day. There remains therefore the rest for the people of God.” A rest being your absolute enjoyment of God and His absolute enjoyment of you. That is the rest of God that you enter into. It is not your rest, it is the rest of God that becomes your rest, as you see the reason for His rest concerning you !
You do not need to call man through any other means except the Gospel, because his heart responds to the love-call of God.
It is very important to see that God finished everything Himself, because if you do not see it, you will try to produce it through your own works. God is at rest because of what you became in your spirit in Christ Jesus through resurrection. This truth is settled in your heart. Start appreciating God’s initiative, because so often we think it must come from our side, that we must come into His presence with boldness, that we must break through the veil into the heavenly places, that we must take the initiative to approach God as a lion. It is God’s initiative that opened for us the new and living way. He is the One who drew you. He is the One who called you. In Rom. 5:8 it says “Herein is the love of God demonstrated, that Christ died for us while we were God’s enemies.” He embraced us in His love while we were sinners, ungodly and His enemies. In Eph. 2;3 it says that we were children of wrath and not children of the wrath of God as we always interpreted it. We were not children who were going to get God’s wrath, but we were children of a nature of wrath. A nature that was in vengeance against God, a nature that blasphemed the living God. And while we were in that state of vengeance against God, He embraced us in His love. Do you agree that the initiative came from Him! Start appreciating God’s initiative, because when you start walking in that consciousness it is no longer something that must come from your side, but it is simply appreciating what has already come from His side.

Esek. 16:6-14 clearly shows us the initiative of God. See with your spiritual eyes how all this happened to YOU in Christ Jesus in the New Testament. ‘And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ Yes, I said to you in your blood, ‘ Live!’ I made you thrive like a plant in the field; and you grew, matured, and became very beautiful. Your breasts were formed, your hair grew, but you were naked and bare. When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed it was the time of love; and so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine, says the Lord God. Then I washed you in water; yes, I thoroughly washed off your blood, and I anointed you with oil. I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of badger skin; I clothed you with fine linen and covered you with silk. I adorned you with ornaments, put bracelets on your wrists, and a chain on your neck. And I put a jewel on your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head. Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful, and succeeded to royalty. Your fame went out among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through My splendor which I had bestowed on you, says the Lord God. How easy it is to love out of a initiative like this. God did it with you so that you just need to be it to the full extend.

Hos.11:1 - says “When Israel was a child I loved him, out of Egypt I called him to be My son.” Verse 3-4 “I taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by their arms, but they did not know it was I who healed them. I drew them with gentle cords, with bands of love, and I was to them as those who take the yoke off their neck and I stooped and fed them.” Verse 8 - “How can I give you up, oh Ephraim?” What was the motivation of God calling man out of a perverse and crooked generation? Man went and blew everything. God should just have left him. Hos. 11:9 - “I will not execute My fierceness of anger, I will not destroy Ephraim, for I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst. And I will not come to you with terror. 1 John 4:9 - “In this the love of God was manifested towards us, that God has send His only begotten Son into the world that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and He sent His Son to be a propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” Paul writes in another place and says - ‘I do not need to teach you concerning brotherly love, because God Himself teaches you.”

Let us clearly see God’s initiative in His act of propitiation. The word propitiation is a term that the Greeks use when they used to bring their sacrifices to their Greek gods. They had many drink offerings to their gods as Vines writes and says, “ in order to change the mood of their gods to be favorable towards them.” So there was a constant act of propitiation in their hope, and a bare glimpse of anticipation in which they wished that their gods would became favorable towards them. Now it sounds as if their gods were very moody. I praise God that our God is not a moody God. One day I must sneak in and the next day He hauls me into His presence and the day after that He throws me out again. But there is just no shadow of turning in the heart of God. I do not need to shrink back. That is why He says that His heart has no pleasure in those who draw back, because His heart has never ever changed towards man. God desires for us to take initiative, because He first took the initiative. He wants you to respond wholeheartedly to what He did wholeheartedly in Christ Jesus with you. I am possessive over God only because He was first possessive over me.

The Greeks themselves had to do these acts of propitiation; they had to bring their own sacrifices. The God that we have come to know did Himself the act of propitiation on our behalf. He brought His Own sacrifice and actually offered His only begotten Son. God’s mood did not need to change to be favorable towards you. His mood has always been one of loving kindness and tender mercies towards you. It was your mood that had to be changed. God’s mood was in love towards mankind even before the sacrifice of His Son. We were children of wrath and vengeance against God. So now God comes with His Son, the Lamb of God. The Word says in John 1:29 - “Behold the Lamb of God”. Can you imagine what was going on in the minds of those Jewish people concerning the Lamb of God. They were so used to bring their own little lambs for the last 1400 years, and here John shouts out “Behold the Lamb of God.” The lamb was God’s act of propitiation, God’s act of favor. When those Greeks brought their sacrifices to their gods, their gods already had their favor, but they were trying to win the favor of their gods. In the New Covenant, it is God who is seeking to win the favor of man, - that is why He sent His Lamb. He desires to change the mood of the hearts of man.
I am possessive over God only because He was first possessive over me.
This is such a precious reality that will enrich your faith, if you make it a point to walk in the consciousness of God’s initiative over your life. In the light of God’s initiative, your walk and relationship with God is not a burden, but it is simply responding to what He first did. Herein is the love of God demonstrated, that He first loved you. God did not need to be reconciled to you, you needed to be reconciled to God. 2 Cor.5:18 - “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. That is why God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.” Why? Because He desired godly offspring in bringing man back into a relationship of favor with Him - Mal. 2:15. - “God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us; we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” The word pleading means “to seek the favor of”. God was seeking the favor of man, desiring a change of mood in the heart of man towards Him. Now on that basis I implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. I want this reality to dawn upon you through the Spirit.

In Eph. 3:8-12 we read about the unreachable riches of Christ that is preached to the Gentiles. This revelation is driving Him to let all people see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which was from the beginning of the ages hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ. This manifold wisdom of God is now made known to the church, which is according to the eternal purpose, which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. What is the mystery? The mystery that was hidden for man was, that for all the years God longed and desired mirror-reflection fellowship that would be the same as His fellowship with His Son. This eternal purpose (Eph. 1:3-4) was accomplished through creation in Christ Jesus. The fall of man disturbed and cancelled the function of this purpose in man, but was preserved in Christ Jesus as the blueprint. With redemption God, through the Blueprint, restored man again in his spirit to the image and likeness of God and called it the new creation.

Col. 1:25-29 says the stewardship of God is the mystery that was hidden from ages and generations, but now has been revealed in Christ Jesus. The riches of the glory of this mystery IN the Gentiles is revealed as Christ in them, the hope of Glory! God has restored His image and likeness in man again through the cross and resurrection. God has made mankind new in their spirits in bringing it back to the image and likeness of Christ, which is the image of God - Heb. 1:3. That is why Eph. 4:22 says “Put on (command in the past tense - let it manifest, be what you are) the new man that was created according to God’s righteousness and holiness.” See also Col. 3:9-11. The result of this successful redemption is stated in Eph. 3:12 - “in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.” I want to read to you a translation that someone wrote out of the Greek. “ Our union with Him is a result of His faith, not our presumption. He initiated our union, we are not imposing upon the presence or the promises of God. We have thus obtained an unrestricted, an unreserved approach.”

I shared with someone this story to illustrate the point. I really wanted to get to know Susan, because I have seen her and I picked up in my spirit that she has a treasure I need to tap into. So I go to her and tell her “Susan, please do you not want to come and have some coffee with me with cream cake and biscuits.” You see, she has my favor, but I desire her to get to know me as well. I desire for her to have me as a pleasure, a pleasurable friend. So I invite her and she is just stubborn. She just does not want to come and I am inviting and imploring and pleading with her. “Come and have coffee with me.” And after the third month she eventually responds. And she comes down to my room and she is hesitant and restricted in her approach. She says, “Well may I have one of these biscuits.” I mean, I am overwhelmed that she eventually responded. I am leaping up and down, and I am bringing out the cookies as fast as I can, and I cannot carry enough cups of coffee over to her, and I just want to sit down and get to know her. In other words, she is not imposing. And then she sits and says, “I hope that I am not imposing on your presence.” Do you see what I am saying? Your union with God is a result of His faith, not our presumption! He took the initiative. This was not your good idea! You were not the one breaking down the veil into the heavenly places. He drew you with cords of love; He prepared that place before you were even born, you could not add to it even if you wanted to. Do you see what the rest of God is?

In God’s desire to repossess you He knew what the price would be to repossess you as His own possession; God knew that the price of redemption was the life of His Son Jesus Christ. He gave that which was most precious to Him to repossess you. Now He has nothing but you. In giving everything to repossess mankind He has nothing as His possession but mankind. Even His Son is part of the human race now and sits in heaven at the moment with a physical body! He says there in 1 Tim. 2:5 that there is one Mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus; Jesus the firstborn among many brethren. Can you understand why God is possessive over you? Do you know what it does to your spirit when you dwell in the consciousness that God is possessive over you. Meditate on that. Let us read Zeph. 3:17 from the Amplified. ‘The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty one, a Saviour who saves, He will rejoice over you with joy, He will rest in silent satisfaction and in His love He will be silent and make no mention of past sins or even recall them; He will exalt over you with singing.” Appreciate the response of God, His possessiveness over you. Religion is busy with idolatry, the heathen worship gods that has eyes that cannot see and mouths that cannot speak and hands that cannot handle and ears that cannot hear. They worship idols and get no response from that idol. I cannot see any reason why they should continue their relationship with that idol. What is it that inspires your relationship with God - the feedback you receive daily from God. How do you receive feedback? Through appreciating and meditating upon the Scriptures and a life of worshipping God. That is how you receive feedback. We are not busy with a God that we are worshipping and there is no response. We are not praying towards God and there is no feedback. God is a God that have given testimony of Himself in your spirit and He is sustaining that witness! We have a God that is full of emotion over you. He exalts over you with joy. When you discover God’s possessiveness over you, you cannot but respond. He rests in silent satisfaction over you.
Now He has nothing but you. In giving everything to repossess mankind He has nothing as His possession but mankind. Even His Son is part of the human race now and sits in heaven at the moment with a physical body!
Let us read Ps. 132:3 - “Surely I will not go into the chamber of my house or go up to the comfort of my bed, I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the Mighty God of Jacob.” Verse 7-9 - “Let us go into His tabernacle, let us worship at His footstool, arise, O Lord, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength. Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness and let Your saints shout for joy”. Verse 13-14 “For the Lord has chosen Zion; and He has desired it for His habitation. This is My resting place forever, I will dwell here for I have desired it.” That word “desire” means unsatisfied longing until that desire is satisfied. God has chosen Zion, because He so appreciated that which He saw in the human race, that He could enter into His rest. Love found enough within the creation of man in which it could be satisfied. In beholding what God did, there is an enriching of my faith that takes place, because with dead religion there is no feedback from the individual they worship. There is no feedback at all, no inspiration to continue in that relationship. But God has called us to a place that His own Son enjoys and we have feedback from God. You must get to a point of persuasion in your life where you refuse to live in a relationship with God without living in the consciousness of the feedback of God that there is in your spirit. God has given full testimony of Himself in the spirit of man, and wants you to live daily in the full consciousness of it.

This sounds like heresy to the religious mind but David said in Ps. 73:25-26 “Who have I in heaven but You O God, and having You, there is nothing I desire on this earth.” In beholding God and keeping my eyes upon Christ, I get the feedback of 1 John 4:17 - “As He (Christ) is, so are we in this world.” So you can say with boldness of yourself what God says of you, because He has reconciled us to a relationship of equality and mutual encouragement. A relationship of equality means what must be experienced by the one, must be experienced by the other, otherwise it is not a relationship of equality. Do you see what we are involved in. We are involved with a God who exalts over you, a God who is filled with emotion over you, “How can I give you up, O Ephraim; My compassion grows warm within Me over you. I have created you to be My resting place” says your God.

Deut. 32:9 - “For the Lord’s portion is His people, and Jacob is the place of His inheritance.” To say something is your portion means to say, I desire nothing else; it is my hope for tomorrow and the future, and this is my absolute delight. God says - “Israel, you are My portion, you are My hope for the future, you are My delight, you are My inheritance and Jacob is the place of My inheritance.” God inherited through the death of His Son. God inherited you through the death of His Son. Eph.1:11 in the Greek reads as follow - “In whom (Christ) we were made His (God’s) inheritance, having been chosen (predestined) from the beginning for this purpose in accordance to the purpose or intention of Him (God) whose might carries out in everything the purpose of His own will.” The work of the cross was the initiative of God to get mankind as His portion. To secure this purpose and to make sure that it will be an absolute success, He carried it out personally as the One who works everything in the universe according to His will. It is nice to be the focus of such unquenchable initiative, whereby God is overwhelmed to have mankind as the reward of the success of the cross and resurrection.

Deut.32:10 - “Jacob is the place of my inheritance. You found him in a desert land, a wasteland, a howling wilderness, you encircled him and instructed him.” While we were in a wasteland God encircled us. While we were enemies and hostile in our minds towards God, He encircled us and marked us out for His own possession. He then kept us as the apple of His eye. That word apple speaks of the focus of a being. Ps. 17:8 - “Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of your wing.” ZECH. 2:8 - “He who touches you touches the apple of His eye.” That is why David says; “What is man that You are mindful of him.” Man has always been the focus of God. We must understand what was the purpose, which God treasured within Himself. The thoughts of God, throughout ages, even though they were hidden from man, were wholly upon man. The thoughts of God were focused upon man, His desire was focused upon man, and everything in the heart of God was inclined and purposed upon man. When the time came for revelation knowledge to be birthed in you, and you discovered that the mind of God has always been upon you, you cannot but become possessed. God is possessed with mankind. We became possessed by the thoughts of God over us. The purpose that God treasured in His heart throughout the generations had now been unveiled to us. This is our stewardship, to unveil and demonstrate the purpose that God treasured within Himself, that man should accommodate the place that His Son is Himself accommodating at the moment. This is the mystery that has been hidden for ages and generations in the Old Testament, Christ in union with mankind. The image and likeness of Christ, as God’s hope of glory, is again restored in mankind.

Out of the fact that we are God’s portion, His inheritance, we come to another conclusion, namely that God is our portion. This is absolutely Biblical and logical for in a covenant the two parties belong to each other. Ps. 16:5 - “You O Lord are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. Ps. 119:57 - “You are my portion, O Lord.” Jer. 10:16, 51:19 - “The Portion of Jacob is not like them, for He is the Maker of all things, and Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; the Lord of hosts is His name.” Lam. 3:24 - “The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I hope in Him.” What an inheritance to have God as your portion!

Eph. 1:15-18 - “Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I do not cease making mention of you in my prayers that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you might know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance among the saints.” The whole Ephesians 1 is not speaking of your inheritance, but it is speaking of God’s inheritance which is you. It says - “I pray that you might grasp how precious you are to God as His possession and as His inheritance.” That is the beauty of the Gospel. What happens when I discover that? I fulfill it. I fulfill that desire within the heart of God. In the Living Bible translation he says - “I want you to realize that God has been made rich because of you!”
Out of the fact that we are God’s portion, His inheritance, we come to another conclusion, namely that God is our portion.
Is. 32:17-18 - “The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.” We have nothing to add to our redemption except to appreciate the peace, quietness and assurance of it forever. Verse 18 - “My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings and in quiet resting places.” All that you need to do is to enjoy this great and mighty redemption. I want to encourage you to start enjoying the nature that is within you. It is the nature of God. In the mirror of Christ you see yourself as God has always seen you. Innocent, blameless and pure without guile. Wallow yourself in it, indulge in the liberty of truth revealed! Because you know that you are the image and likeness of the Son in whom you find your essential features. Enjoy the resting place He has brought you into. Amen.

Release of Shi Weihan

http://080808onnowto.blogspot.com/2009/06/shi-weihan-modern-day-apostle-paul-from.html

The above link shows Steve McVey's original post which I put on this blog. As a fluke I noticed the "representative video image" for the video in the side column of this blog "Meet the Family: had actually settled on the picture of Shi Weihan.
Here is the Open Doors report of his release. I join with them in praying for him.

Shi Weihan - article taken from here
Christian bookshop owner, Shi, was released from prison on 9 February 2011 and returned home the following day. "Many brothers and sisters from his church welcomed him and celebrated with him when he arrived at his home," stated an Open Doors source.

According to Compass Direct News, Shi was found guilty of 'illegal business activities' in June 2009 by a Beijing court. Sources said Shi's bookshop operated legally and sold only books for which he had obtained government permission, and that his Holy Spirit Trading Company printed Bibles and Christian literature without authorisation but only for free distribution to local house churches.

Shi, 40, is a diabetic and at first was denied medication for his condition, according to Compass.

Shi (Chinese passport number G09812730), father of two, had previously been arrested for publishing Bibles and Christian literature but was released from prison in January 2008 due to 'insufficient evidence'. He was arrested again on 19 March 2008, and detained from then on, but only officially charged in June 2009.

Shi served his three-year sentence which took into account time he spent in detention after his first arrest in November 2007. While in prison Shi lost a lot of weight but reports that his health is currently tolerable.

Please pray:
Praise God for Shi’s release from prison.
Continue to ask our Heavenly Father to sustain and strengthen Shi following his detention and to encourage Shi's wife, Zhang Jing and their daughters Shi Jia and Shi En Mei.

Music The Master by David Garratt 2003

http://www.davidanddalegarratt.com/

David Garratt vocalises on his website so much of what we now feel about the area of worship.

If you read a little of their life history, you see that they, least of all have been spared incredible moments of pain in their life and family and finance. But you know what, it's the same as a lot of our stories....

In the Darkness we are introduced to the Light. Such a mad Kingdom isn't it, as Rich Novek shares? We see now the ONE THING. The God in allness of the entire thing. We rush away from the "squeezes" only to run smack bang into them anyway, and find that it only kick starts Kingdom birth in us, Kingdom cries, which are answered from heaven.....gloriously answered. Which is what He always intended. The Kingdom is glorious. Priceless. Solid. Running over.Packed through. Heavy with blessing. No man could engineer this.

Some get excited with new birth. Which is exciting. But the same Lord that works the miracle of new birth, moves that same person, or should I say Person now, such is the change, from glory to glory as in a mirror....the Mirror...The Word inside.

David writes:

I don’t consider it particularly worthwhile criticising what we do in church music because I have always taken the opinion that rather than say something negative it’s better to suggest a positive alternative.

However, in August 2003 a thought came to me, quite unprovoked, in fact it was in my mind as I woke: “The music has become the master instead of the servant”. For some reason I knew this thought related to worship in the church worldwide.

Over the time since I had this impression, I have had many ideas including realising that it is not just the music that has become a master, but anything at all we do in a worship setting that doesn’t have, at its core, a dependence on God with a desire to bring him glory alone.

I have also realised that this was a ‘word’ to me as well as others involved in encouraging worship. I need to constantly challenge myself as well.

I will attempt to list a few points which seem to have contributed to why this statement is relevant in the church today and hopefully provide something from our own experience

that may help challenge us to put the music back to where in belongs.

There are, of course many great songs being sung in worship services these days so all the news is certainly not bad. It’s just that so often I wonder if we have God’s perspective in regard to leading his people in worship.

Some of what I will share comes from what we believed God said to Dale and me when we first began recording albums and producing music books. Some come from observations of what we see happening now.

Scripture in Song

Perhaps I’ll begin with what seemed important to us as we began Scripture in Song (a 25 year ministry of recording songs for praise and worship). These points cover what God seemed to impress on us as we began this ministry:

• We were to ‘lead the people to God’, not to ourselves

• We were to write and gather songs that were easily memorized both by musicians and congregations

• These songs were able to be learned quickly

• The messages contained in the songs were both Biblical and relevant to the church of our time

We didn’t learn all of the above at one time because after releasing Scripture in Song Vol. 1 in 1968 we were encouraged by the piano player who played on this first recording to allow him to help us do something that wasn't just a three chord four line chorus.....

This offer from a skillful but non believing musician really appealed as we were not musicians or singers ourselves and felt we badly needed some expert help. In a subtle way we were putting aside our mandate with a challenge to create some music that would really impress.

However, in following the piano player’s direction several things happened:

• God himself remained unimpressed with our change of direction

• The harmonies the piano player taught us were complicated and people couldn’t

follow or learn the songs easily

• The songs he wrote while musically interesting were too complex. We lost our

simplicity

• We had given the final decision making to a man who didn’t share our vision

• As a result (thankfully) the recording sunk without a trace

The music (and the musician) had become the master.

Our trust was in a man rather than God and as a result we had forfeited our dependence

on Him.

I am reminded of a statement in one of the Psalms: “some trust in horses and some in

chariots but we will remember (and trust in) the name of the Lord our God.”

In the days this psalm was written horses and chariots spoke of human effort and power. The question is, how do we know if the music is master or servant? I think part of the answer has to do with dependence. Where our trust lies.

One reason Jesus said that it was hard for a rich man to get into the kingdom is because it’s natural for a rich man to trust in his wealth. It can also be true with skillful musicians and singers. It is easy to put their trust in their own skill and ability.

Excellence

We often hear about the importance of excellence with the worship music these days, with a reasoning (that seems quite logical) that only the best is good enough for God. To a point this is true.

However, the result too often are songs that are cool, skillful, difficult to follow and hard to remember. The instruments sound great. The voices are perfect as is the sound and lighting. However, a performance element creeps in so that the stage becomes the place for us to make our ‘presentations’. The focus of our worship can shift ever so subtly from God to man.

My feeling is that in many cases the worship leaders themselves are real worshipers but decisions are made around them based largely on how things look and sound. An outward appearance to attract more people maybe?

There is no doubt that what we see and hear has an excellence to it that was never seen or heard 30 years ago. But is this the sort of excellence we should be looking for?

Once the stage becomes the focus of our worship it is likely that what we do will be judged in thesame way that a concert is judged. Scary! We will find attention being drawn to ourselvesrather than to the one we are worshiping. This focus is skewed.

Finally on this subject, I need to say that excellence in what we offer is important and I believe it is possible to make excellent music that truly honors God without the music being master. This is altogether possible provided the right foundation is firmly in place.

What is this foundation?

Direction of the Spirit

Let’s think about being directed by the Holy Spirit. Jesus made an interesting statement about the leading of the Holy Spirit: “the wind blows this way and that, we hear the sound but don't know where it comes from or where it goes to...so is everyone who is born of the Spirit”

In an environment where we are seeking to lead people to worship God, the “wind of the Spirit” in what we are doing is vital. Therefore we must give both the Spirit, and the people, room. If whatever we are doing, doesn't give space for this to happen, and the Spirit of God isn't in control then something else has to be.

To be led by the Spirit is actually to be childlike in our approach. To listen, to change direction, to hear, trust and obey and take steps of faith.

It seems to me that in many cases these days worship leaders are really no more than song leaders hoping the songs will speak for themselves rather than engaging the minds and voices of the people and allowing time and room for the Holy Spirit to intervene. If the Spirit is going to be given room we can expect his involvement.

The message or the music?

In listening to contemporary worship songs, I find in so many cases the message of the song is its weakest part and in fact often enough we would find it difficult to see a Biblical basis for what we are singing. Either that or we are just repeating many of the same ‘feel good’ lyrics that challenge our thinking very little at all.

One reason for this is that on many occasions gifted musicians are making decisions on what we should sing and often these people look for music with good hooks and melodies regardless of whether or not the lyrics are strong and true.

The truth of the message should always be the key to the song with the music providing memorability and support.

Memorisation

In writing and selecting songs, consideration must be given to putting words into the mouths of people that are worth remembering. Words quickened by the Spirit can be real spiritual food and revelation. Song memorization is such an important key as is clearly shown from God's instruction to Moses. Here is God’s directive to Israel’s leader: ''now write for yourselves this song and teach it... have them sing it, so that it may be a witness for me against them. For when I bring them into the land... this song will testify against them because it will not be forgotten by their descendants”

Good words accompanied by memorable music will remain in the minds of people far longer than words alone. We can hardly overestimate the importance of singing the truths of Scripture or of singing songs of worship that genuinely place God at the highest place.

Test

So, in a church setting where the objective is to worship God with songs, how do we know if the music has become our master rather than our servant?

1. Look objectively at the upfront stage, does it look like a musical performance?

2. Do all the people on stage understand clearly that their primary role is to lead the

people to the one who is to be worshiped?

3. What about the sound guy? Does he know how to use levels to enable the

congregation to hear themselves rather than just what goes on up front?

4. Are the songs easy to play, sing and remember?

5. Is there room, in the music set for the Holy Spirit to arrive, interject, minister?

6. Are there any circumstances where what is pre planned changes during the service

because of a prompting of the Spirit?

7. Do you ever call for a spontaneous praise response from the people in the room?

8. Can the leader or any of the team give a ‘word from God’ (prophecy) during the

time of worship? If your answer ‘yes’ for question one and ‘no’ for the majority or all of the others, I suggest you go through the points I am making here and ask yourself if some changes may be in order.

*******************

Since this extract was written thousands more former worship leaders have left the world's church frameworks. You can learn more of one here, talking to Darin Hufford

There IS another way! There is a place where ALL the things the Spirit has been incrementally teaching the whole Body of Christ particularly since the last Century's 1906 Outpouring cease to be isolated strands

but all part of a fully functional beautiful Body of Christ, made up of those who really know on their insides that their IDENTITY is Jesus, that Galations 2:20 is 100% accurate.

The Available Treasure : Helen Hiles and Graham Braddock

David Garratt as in David and Dale Garratt Scripture in song sent some information through by email on New Zealand friend and artist Graham Braddock, so I thought I would do a twin post on Graham and our local artist Helen Hiles.(see David and Goliath)

But first, a relevant excerpt from The Glorious Church a prophecy given by Maurice Smith
Now, because of all I have allowed to work upon your lives, you have a deepening relationship with me. Now you really begin to relate to one another. Not as a people who have in mind some grand successful church movement, but as a peopie captivated by my love and grace toward you; as a people thankful to be included at all in what I have set my heart upon. Now you are prepared to go at my pace, you do not despise the time it takes to form a relationship. You begin to understand that I really was unhurried as I made my friendship with sinners, that I was fully prepared for the disappointments and the rewards of friendship, and so it shall be with you more and more. As the barriers between one and one go down, as friendships are formed, and commitments made, you became more vulnerable to being hurt, and yet also on the verge of great discoveries. The riches that I have placed within every single one of you, becomes the available treasure of each other, and the poverty that has marked my people for so long shall be swallowed up in an abundance of supply.

One of the effects of 3rd Level Christianity is entirely positive.

1 Corinthians 12:17-21 MOVES OUT OF THE MEETINGS

17If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?

18But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired.

19If they were all one member, where would the body be?

20But now there are many members, but one body.

21And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; or again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you."
The riches that I have placed within every single one of you, becomes the available treasure of each other.
One of the effects of the Christianity 3.0 revolution is to cause a greater reformation than did Martin Luther's discovery of individual worth in the principle that salvation is by faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

As the rediscovery of baptism in the Spirit swept through denominational Christians and new converts in the 70s we thought that a new reformation was on its way. What we got was better meetings. Much better meetings. So good, many like Peter on the Mountain of Transfiguration, wanted to build their tabernacles right then and there. However God was far more interested in engineering processes in our lives which would increase our hunger for more of God, and also lead to great failures personally, as we had to come to rock bottom to learn that

WE DONT LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE - Christ does....in us.
As individuals gradually crash into this realisation, in the ever so narrow way, the other side of the Cross, we start meeting up again and this time the ground is broadening out under our very feet.
As the barriers between one and one go down, as friendships are formed, and commitments made,Now after all the disappointment and fiasco of the aftermath of Ern Baxter's Capel Bible Week address in 1976 on the subject of Covenant Love in the Body ,using David and Jonathan as illustration......
then everyone watching agog as all the unified streams of Spirit- baptised Christendom were literally torn asunder before our very eyes.

Now, in this new dimension of relating in Christianity 3.0
we look not to our own abilities to do anything, least of all to hold the Body of Christ together,

instead, as Cindi Estep is always saying....

WE LEARN WE ARE ONE.....
We are Jorge Pradas's vision of UNA SOLA COSA
Rich Novek sees the dividing wall of hostility is broken down!!!!

Now it works. Because it is not us of ourselves. WE all KNOW, we really KNOW it is Christ as us in us......and He really knows all about unity

FOR HE it is who is the ONLY ONE REAL LIFE in the UNIVERSE.

So expect a huge reformation in every aspect of life. Financially the 15th and 16th century one was driven by aristocratic princes pouring money into skilfull artists and artisans.

Hmmmmm. Who will drive the new one? Again we see that we are more than flesh and blood.
More than a Darwinian animal.
More than a secular cog in a secular state.

We can have art, design and music again that isn't just driven by Kesha's hormones.
We can have bold statements coming out of "Day to day pours forth speech" in Psalm 19.

The new reformation can come from your and my finance. Or at least begin there.

  • If you like Helen and Graham's work here are some things to think about.

You can order some. It's original. They are on your side! They are in the family.

  • Be aware though they are artists. They have a hotline to communicating the Psalm 19 wavelength as it bubbles through their consciousness. They have not necessarily a covenant with the past, to produce a pastiche of what you consider art to be. What you consider art to be is probably long past its sell by date!

  • Give them TIME. They are humans. It's not like visiting a card shop. These guys may do runs of their work, but they almost certainly do one offs....and the only way to do these takes time and money. Realistic money!

  • With these things in mind here are some thoughts

  • Think ahead to that birthday

  • that retirement

  • that house or church that is to be built or currently is being built......think about that alcove, or blank wall

  • think of that new business that is being launched, or office suite that needs a bold statement in the foyer

  • Group together as a family, as a church, as a bunch of 3.0 Christians, as a business team and order something larger......something incredible.......something unique

  • Have any of you had visions that you know are in some way a blueprint for your future.Get these guys to paint them. Have you a scripture, a passage like Graham's Ephesians 6 armour example......get them to paint it.

  • Still too costly......well collect up money regularly over weeks and months and maybe supply these guys in say 3 payments as they undertake the order.

  • Think creatively about how you (singular and plural) are going to drive the next reformation, built around you!!!!!

The riches that I have placed within every single one of you, becomes the available treasure of each other.

Helen Hiles left school and trained as a gardener. Originally inspired by her passion for plants, she taught herself the art of botanical painting and was very successful in this field, illustrating several books and showing at a number of exhibitions. In more recent years, Helen's work developed into a new dimension and her work became much larger and looser, swapping fine art brushes and watercolour paper for oil and acrylic paints on canvas.
Helen's art has had an international impact, gaining her a fast growing reputation as a versatile, innovative, thought provoking, imaginative and prophetic artist.

Helen is currently resident artist at Graylingwell Chapel, a new Church, Community & Creative Arts Centre in Chichester, West Sussex. The Chapel, closed for more than 12 years, has been re-opened and is fast becoming a new centre for the community. You can see many of Helen's paintings on display in the Chapel and she often paints 'live' in the context of church worship.
She is also available for Workshops, Exhibitions, Prophetic Painting and Commissions. If you would like to buy any of her prints, you can do so from our online Shop - just click the link

Breakthrough
my words

Helen's new site is up and running. I asked her for permission to use her work. I particularly wanted to highlight Breakthrough and David and Goliath which Peter Stott preached from in his amazing conference message

Helen, like many in the church , processes information differently as an artist. She finds an inability to simply sit and listen to words being preached. Sometimes her only means of processing the information is to paint while she is listening. You will see on her site something that appears like a repeated image, perhaps birdlike, almost like a figure for a wallpaper. If you look closer you will see figures embracing. This is the church. This is the Father Son and Holy Spirit. This is fellowship in its basic form....agape relationship. This figure I believe came in the last Havant Conference 2010.Helen is from Chichester, but she is often at these main key of David conferences.

Dear Chris,

I would like to introduce you to Graham Braddock, a good friend of ours who has been a fine artist for many years.
Beginning January this year Graham began producing a monthly newsletter showing a piece of his art together with notes on how the particular work was created plus any relevant comments as to its importance.

I thought you may be interested in having a look at the February issue of his letter and subscribing to it. No cost is involved.

Here is a link for you to click on to.

From Graham's School of Prophetic Painting WebpageWelcome to this exciting prophetic art site. We have endeavoured to bring together several exceptional artists in order to offer you what amounts to several life times of painting experience. We believe this school will catapult you into a new level of skill and creativity and in your ability to not only hear from God but to visualise and render the images He gives you into powerful prophetic paintings, that will bring glory and honour to Him.

We have tons of new and exciting developments in store for the 2011 school. We are continually looking for better ways to give our students a vital and creative experience, so plan to be there for the 2011 Prophetic Painting School.

Dates for the 2011 School

Module One Drawing * 4 April - 29 April

Module Two Watercolour / illustration * 3 October - 28 October

Module Three Oil and Acrylic painting * 7 November - 2 December
"We will soon see artists creating paintings that will come straight from the throne room of God. By looking at them people will receive an impartation of deep prophetic vision and heavenly perspective. Holy Spirit anointed art is going to have the power to set people free. There are artists being raised up whose gifts of healing and deliverence will be projected through their art. People will just look at it and get healed or set free. There is art that will soon be released that will powerfully impart vision and purpose to people, even calling some to their ministry and releasing spiritual gifts."

Stop Press: 'Imagine' Out NOW

Hi friends,

The new book 'Imagine...' is finally available!

What people are saying about it:

"Imagine" takes you on an illuminating journey from God's original thought and intent before time began, right into man's conflicting experience within himself and with his God, and breaks through with the beautiful understanding of the Treasure that is in each one of us, redeemed and revealed in the Light that lights up every man - Christ. Read it, digest it, be nourished with the Bread of Heaven; and go awaken the sleeping with loud shouts of joy; tell the World that Hope is here, and He lives in YOU.

Colin Lagerwell

To imagine that God imagined me before time began is the most liberating thought! It immediately gives substance to faith and relevance to the gospel.I matter to my Maker! He is mindful of me! Andre’s writing beautifully frames the picture that God painted and exhibits it in the grand gallery of our own reflections.

Francois Du Toit

The revelation of the Logos, the Word of God, appeals to more than our human intellect. It is the call of His Spirit to our spirit. Jesus said: “the Words which I speak to you are spirit and are life.” (John 6:63) Natural words can captivate your mind, but Spirit and Life go beyond your mind and grasp your spirit man, your inner being. The book Imagine… is such a call. The words contain more than intellectual stimulation, they are ‘spirit and life’ for your spirit and for your life.
