Why on earth post this here?
Because its catching a current vibe about 55 years early.
I was saying to some Christians 3 weeks ago, the reality we are in is not just cuddly.
Somehow Jesus is Lord but there sure is a feel of a Blindman just firing bullets at us.
In Isaiah 60 there's the reality of a Gross Darkness throughout the earth, but there's also a thirdlevel TOTAL solution Light no dofferent than modelled by Jesus and the first Church He raised up, but with far greater clarity and exposing the useless tomfoolery of the Genesis 3 lie. John the Baptist said of Jesus that He was laying the axe to the root and He sure did.
Even in the very first Passover event of the Jews escape from Egypt, this blind man was shooting mindlessly at all the firstborn. The only safe houses were those daubed at the lintel with the blood of animals looking ahead to the One Meaningful Covering sacrifice of all time - Jesus- God in the flesh giving His own life, and extracting the very sullied spirit in every human and taking it out with Him in His Body of the Cross.
For all I know the wicked Brotherhoods in the occult may use this track in one of their feverish adrenochrome magic sex cults, but i am just going to say it truly is a current cry of the spirit as everywhere appears to go mad.
It's like the very Psalm 120 cry......everyone around us appears to want war.
We never chose war.
We never chose Ukraine.
We never chose all the HAARP weaponry and DEW weaponry exacerbating storms and burning Maui and Texas and Australia.
We never chose war on Gaza, war on Iran . etc etc
We are seeing the destabilisation of countries through refugee scenarios which are a mix between straight desperate people , and military male sleepers of fighting age.
So yes, that's what I feel the track captures as unpleasant as it is to listen to. It was written as Marxist Eastern bloc was still extant and ofcourse the Vietnam War continued until 1974, but in 1970 nobody knew when it was going to end.
As the rapper says, even 50 years on it's a totally compelling track. Jon Lord has now died, but at the end he was a full strength Symphonic composer, of pieces like Durham.
