It's stunning we have specific instructions about how Holy Spirit meetings work. ! Corinthians 11 through 14, and Ephesians 4 and a bit in James about elders.
It's absolutely amazing that we have such an incredible church blueprint made by Christ Himself using Word only, over 42 months....and the little matter !!!! of dying and walking out of His own tomb then having little restorative discussions with the very ones who betrayed Him. Sadly one had killed Himself as prophesied.
It's absolutely amazing that we have the exact description of how 12 cofunctioning elder/apostles moved through Jerusalem and functioned directly out from the Father in 1 John 1.
We have the kernel of how we pray on our own.
Go into our inner room, shut our door (to Genesis 3 and anything of the inherited habits of the independent self delusion, and instead meet in the secret place of our core with Our real live Dad, and Abba Father.
We have the core of how we gather. We gather in the specific Name of Jesus and no other order...and there He is in our midst. Which defines how the Melchizdek Order works.
It's amazing that the three main WAVES of interaction with the Holy Spirit are told us, and for the rest we have to look at the history of the Jews and Praise, and above all King David the harpist , worshipper and songwriter of deep mysteries and deep personal experiences which end in victory.
1 Corinthians 12 says the first phase is while the Holy Spirit moves individuals with any of 9 gifts of the Spirit. Also Ephesians describes being filled with the Spirit and receiving new songs.
Phase two is when gathered ministries are led to really feed the church....like good stewards bringing forth old solid stuff and new fresh rhema stuff....like manna.The third phase, people are so built up and expectant the Holy Spirit can cut out all middle men and just move in operations of the Spirit.
Why is this so amazing.
Well things like the necessity to ground people in their own "personality tongue"......so Matthews or Surrounded by Idiots ...choleric reds, then Mark type samguine greens, pragmatic and knowledgeable blues....the Lukes, and the at times flamboyant at times very deep and burden carrying yellows or Johns. In the beginning Paul and possibly a different writer of Hebrews identify a beginning stage, possibly when people depend a bit too much on one person, yet are taught in their particular frequency. 1 Corinthians 12.3 As our innards are crowbarred open with material from all the frequencies we become larger freer people. There are certain fascisms that are encouraged in one person leadership settings. Only a complete crosssection of personalities and ministeries can bring forth from the Crown of 12 stars storehouse of the Kingdom and the heavenlies. Matthews might only know about pyramids Marks may only know about works, and sometimes God is not even telling us to do these....or not yet....or not in the old expected ways Lukes have loads of knowledge, but as Romans 12. 1 and 2 state, all of their minds have to be renewed and washed in the infinite Power and Person of God. It's no coincidence that Romans 12.1 is pretty similar to John 7.17. True doctrine demands people who are ready to lay their whole beings in sacrifice for another Owner and Saviour to live through them and manifest. Johns are naturally spiritual and and truther type people.....but they can be enmeshed in the occult, shamen , meditation new age, or a strange kind of Buddhist atheism that I met once on my piano tuning round. The problem with spirits giving information.....some of it is only true as we offer to make it manifest by our believing. We clean ourselves in the washing of God's Word.e must hear what Jesus genuinely speaks by the Holy Spirit and according to the Word. But I say this because from 1972 to 2009 when I was born again , I read the Bible but never never saw that the Bible does not talk about a church being a teaching synagogue under one pastor. Ecclesia particularly describes being held together by a united eldership in whose hearts are the highways to Zion .....but that being so the New Covenant is incredible. We can all be born again and baptised in the Spirit and all know the Lord. So really the elders are there to encourage us in our own spiritual hearing and seeing. It's totally different from how religion was. It's sharing the clean righteousness of God , His holy Presence together , in hope, joy , love and power. There ARE teachers but they cross every part of life as the Bible does. They are only one of 14 different types of ministries. In former times it wasn't believed that deacons could be anything other than practical, but born again Mark type people now get baptised in th Spirit and they get supersensitive in the gifts of the Spirit and in teaching others the practical walk of believing upon Galatians 2.20 and Colossians 3.3. Other Matthews got frustrated because loads are made with leadership gifts of all types but the older churches used to choose one and the others got so frustrated they dropped off their wives and went to play golf. Praise God the Thirdlevel church is arising that truly is ecclesia and New Covenant Jeremiah and Ezekiel36 being formed in our souls from out of our already born again spirits.
