We aren't the Old Covenant, we are a new Body known as the priesthood of the Melchizedek Order
The Order is simply described in Hebrews similarly to psalm 123.
Catholicism tried to return us to the single operator and a much simplified version of tiered heirarchical priesthood.
A quick reminder of the Old Covenant . Yes there was a human high priest who had to enter the Holiest Place annually never quite sure if he would come out alive . The rest of the Levite tribe were all priests and many would be tasked with carrying the Ark together with poles on their shoulders.
This is an important picture .
Everything changes in the New Covenant .
Remember , Moses Tabernacle was not somethjng we discard but was never but an outer physical form or copy of the heavenly blueprint .
God restricted Himself to that vessel to manifest His Presence .
Repeat . God's real tabernacle still has the same pattern but it is in the Spirit . This means to human eyes it is not readily perceivable what a mass flight of 2 millon or more Jews out of Goshen Egypt has to do with a Cross with Jesus upon it , but the features are the same blueprint : Passover
Only we are not rescued from a natural army chasing us . Every human now , not just Jews are rescued from all the millions of fallen entities bringing legal destruction ,theft and lies to our life because , since Adam whether good or bad we have inhabited a false forbidden wrath state known as false independence and false godhood and false separation from the ONLY Source of True unalloyed Life , our Creator God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ .
Passover , Pentecost and Tabernacles take on spiritual forms for us as we grow in the Spirit through them both individually and the ' shape of ecclesia ' or church that each realm of Feast and Tabernacle take outwardly .
Jesus talks about kingdom not being about places and buildings in Johh 4 ....not to his disciples but of all things , to a Samaritan woman who herself has had many partners .
So if its not buildings like the world and heirarchy churches take pride in then what is it ?
Paul uses the phrase Living letters .
The new Covenant described in Jeremiah 31 and Ezekiel 36. God's divine engraving pen upon our souls . You see we receive the life of God in a day this zöe life from heaven . Our spirit man is changed in an instant because of the totality of that work ; in fact all work ,spirit soul and body in Jesus Body killed and resurrected .
So poised in place both the regeneration of our main identity and being plus the release of that new supernatural spiritual entity in power known as baptism in the Spirit , like a heavenly bucket is all primed with our name on .
All that has to happen is we submit to God and receive the Passover exchange of God in our being
The Priesthood power realm of the middle holy place room of Gods House and second Pentecost Feast .
The Union realm of the Mercy Seat Box with God's Khavod tangible Presence and moment by moment direction .
This is the coming of Kingdom here and now .
This is the work of the Lord's Prayer .
Because it's Union it is human but it is also God coming through human .
It's not a manmade system like heirarchy churches .
Nor is it just hunting spiritual experiences but never engaging Kingdom with earth and the banishing of the four territorial spirits from their version of extorting rule over the earth .
Think the marauding but largely hidden latge insects in the kids film Antz .
So back to Jesus , women pioneer ministries and the actual blueprint .
Jesus was never separated from the Father .
But His life DID , in an overall blueprint arc represent how spiritual life grows and takes hold of our natural life here .
The first 30 years had an outer courts purely natural look to them .
His three years of ministry had a holy place , Pentecostal look to them .
His final week was a very private Union experience which outwardly looked disastrous until His resurrection and ascension , but this Holiest Place , third Room of God's house on earth , was nothing less than God in Christ reconciling the whole world and every age to Himself .
And as Beth Philpot Ingram wrote yesterday God is about reproducing Christ Himself in us who believe .
So on the one hand some sort of Union thing was happening with Madam Guyon in the 1600s that so offended Catholics they burned our sister .
On the one hand Maria Woodworth Etter moved in the power and gifts of the Spirit as an evangelist .
On the one hand Kathryn Kuhlman pushed ahead so the most extraordinary God Presence and signs happened in auditoriums .
But why repeat on the one hand ?
Because of this sentence .....which is the other hand ......
When Jesus ascended into heaven He gave gifts unto men .
This is massive and part of the revelation of the final infrastructure in Ephesians 1 .10
Not just of church but the pillar and ground of truth rollout everywhere and especially one visible church of Christ in every location .
Yes these women were the most amazing pioneers of union doctrine Madam Guyon and Union power and Praise Presence in Maria end of 1800s , Kathryn Kuhlman , Jean Darnall, Ruth Heflin bringing praise Presence back to Jerusalem.......but God's template for church is breeding at least 12 into full 1 John 2 status in every location on earth as the Jerusalem standard .
Just as witches circles have power in Satan we see the earthquake power of the 12 mature saint apostles in Acts 4.
It takes a certain number at third stage of growth to hold Kingdom in a place .
Think ....continuous conference standard multi leader church across all personalities .
Thats what God registered for us in tribes and Gate of Miphjad OT and in the 12 in Jerusalem and both sets are before the Throne
But it's registered . It's happened .
And so we can see this happen everywhere too .
Here's an apostolic fact that's awesome but works in our favour . At this level like our own body systems homeostasis really works .
Similar to a jury . Each person type brings their aspect of gifting and kingdom and the Body is joined by that which each joint supplies .
Prophetic nebulousness like wispy Kingdom arriving first as a cloud the size of a mans hand is juxtaposed against say organisational leadership who want things to engage on earth .
So theres a pressing through in Jesus Life .
But theres a pressing through of psalm of Ascents priesthood culminating in psalm 134 Unity and psalm 134 power declaration .
