It's not totally wrong to speak mystically about brokenness as Gene Edwards used to ,and like those who major in praise and worship do. Possibly Emanuel Ferradura. Because knowing Christ is mystical. In a 1 Corinthians 12 meeting how on earth do you tell somebody else how you know it's the Holy Spirit prompting you to do something ?All you can say is I felt a nudge, I heard God say, or I saw a vision of something God intended me to share or move in.
However as we instruct people in the third level, the Holiest place level of the acacia box, of the Third Feast.......it's a cold objective believing and acknowledging of God.
Proverbs 3.6 was the nearest the Old Covenant could get to it. Acknowledging God in all our ways.
But to the God programming code we now add a very specific Galatians 2.20
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and [t]the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
Now in reality we already know some of this trajectory first hand don't we?
Thats what going into our inner room and shutting our door is.
That's what gathering in the Name of Jesus really is.
That's what going spontaneously into the second mile is,,,,because we have to know which beggar on the road...which family thats in trouble....and we have to know when to stop. Quite often the stop comes when people start relying on us instead of doing their own believing.
We have to know within when Jesus has stopped and we are still going. Or when we have stopped and like Jesus said about the Father still working , now Jesus is still working . This is the training for the thirdlevel. We have to be as happy with dustbin clearing , or helping with a festering putrified wound as with some kind of recognition from other believers. Yes, occasionally other believers do notice!
Its very Rudyard Kipling .....we have to treat "both imposters just the same " . Check out the poem online.
As Jesus tells in the parable the servant must treat great favorable projects exactly the same as small unpleasant ones....it's the same Master giving the same sort of order process. We remain completely objective.
I guess Emmanuel Ferradura type ministry can suddenly trigger things in the Spirit at larger scales....but my firm conviction is that God has used Norman Grubb at such a groundbreaking time such as this to take the church a whole stage further, as did Martin Luther. Everything is Spirit and Word, and the statistics in the last century have been directly related to first baptism in the Spirit and the way of praise and waiting upon God.
And guess what is amazing ???????
The Colossians 3. 3 hidden word as in "our life is hidden in Christ in God".......Guess what.....that's the Greek expression entwined ;like rope .....for the Hebrew Word which means wait upon the Lord....yes that too is entwined like rope,
Since Ted Crick or the woman behind him discovering DNA we might say entwined like a third strand of our DNA.
So you see how Ema's fuzzy mystic love language is in fact exactly the same as Norman Grubb's hyper objective descriptions of Galatians 2.20 and Colossians 3.3
And actually it was Mirror Bible Francois Dutoit that taught me that entwined , wait upon God thing.
If we walk Galatians2.20 for decades, consciously and purposefully, people will hardly know we are Christians until we go into Christ action. It usually shocks people.
Michael Thom , who was brought up dower Scottish Brethren knew he had made it as a Christian when people had to ask him if he was a Christian. Before that people never asked because he had all the outer accoutrements but little of the twinkly eyed life.
